Is there any marketplace where artists can sell their works for crypto? Maybe online galleries or specific webistes or auctions.

You can try selling your art on the following platforms:

  • OpenBazaar (https://openbazaar.org/)
  • Bitify (https://bitify.com/)

Or maximize your exposure with the following subreddit pages:

  • BitMarket (https://www.reddit.com/r/BitMarket/)
  • Jobs4Bitcoins (https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/new/)
  • Jobs4Crypto (https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Crypto/new/)

Take note: I prefer to not vouch for any of the above platforms [kindly DYOR].

I've seen some artists auction their work in either "Collectibles (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0)" and "Auctions (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0)" sub-boards or instead, list them on either this section [goods] or "Services (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0)".

This forum is the biggest crypto currency market. thousands of people sell tons of products and and all kind of other stuffs here Including buying selling cryptocurrency itself.

There are some other marketplaces as well where you can list your products for crypto currency. One known platform I am always using is https://openbazaar.org you may like to check it out and may start loving it.

Still, you can still make a thread in this forum and showcase your products. I am sure you'll get more buyers than anywhere else.

Aside from the forum, this is the other marketplace that I've searched. https://cryptwerk.com/companies/art/
Another technique is to look for those threads of artists and ask them what other places they sell their artworks/paintings for crypto.

I can't speak to outside the forum. In the past few years some members have come here directly to sell pieces they've created. I suggest dropping onto the Collectibles (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0)  board. if you have some pieces you could post it as 4 sale or put it into an auction. The majority of users who frequent there are helpful, and will point you in the right direction.
Best of luck.

I'm not sure if there is option to sell art works for crypto, but for sure it is interesting market based on blockchain. Not only market, but also an application that certifies the authenticity of works of art just like the confirmation of human fingerprints.

You can read more about this project here: https://www.4art-technologies.com/

There is definitely an internal market and the ability to contact galleries, but I haven't used it myself yet, so you have to check it out by yourself.

Besides recommendation from members you can build your own marketplace if you have a lot of art pieces that you want to buy and sell and you have the money you can hire people to build one for you, there's not much marketplace in our community, we need a big one that caters to as many coins and artist, this is an industry worth exploring and profitable for operators.

You can consider:

- posting your ads at your local section here in the forum.
- posting on crypto-related social media groups

Or just do the usual posting your ads everywhere and just add crypto as one of your payment methods. Accept several payment methods as not all are crypto enthusiasts. What matters here is, you are targeting all audiences.

This is digital art only. Quite an interesting and unique set up. Gemini are involved so it's about as legit as it gets and the works on there have fetched some proper prices too.

I find this site thru my friends suggestion visit it here https://app.rarible.com they are selling arts in a good price and I see them earning for selling on people there. But I never tried the site yet so kindly do your own research on how you can use this for your art selling.

Good luck.

Thank you for the recommendation link. I have also been looking for an art market site for crypto for a long time so that my sister can sell her art there. I don't think that an art market for crypto exists. Because in my country, artists find it very difficult to sell their work, and artists here are often paid cheaply. art should not be paid so cheaply..

I think that selling here on forum some artworks it could be profitable since there are a lot of collectors and the forum is well indexed on google.

For what I know there is no auction or famous gallery that allow to buy/sell artwork directly in bitcoin.
Some of the majors marketplaces that I have seen promote bitcoin collectibles (but always accepting payment only in FIAT) are
ebay, catawiki, www.1stdibs.com/

If its purpose is to obtain cryptos, it is better to sell it through traditional payment means and then exchange it for bitcoin.
The cryptocurrency market is still small and it is difficult to find people who are interested in evaluating the arts or willing to pay for them.

But if you want to sell/show crypto-related arts, I think Reddit is the right place.
