What happened: Investro is using another person's photo for one of their team members ( "Natalija N"). On top of that, it looks like that they immediatelly started shilling their thread with newbie sock puppet accounts.

According to their website, this is "Natalija N", Investro CBDO.

But if you check that picture you can see that it has been used on many other websites too, and not even once for someone called "Natalija N"

As I said in the beginning, on top of having fake team member photo, they decided to fake the interest by hiring bunch of newbie accounts that are supposed to pretend that their are interested in this. This is how their ANN looks like at the moment, and there will be much more of similar mindless one-liner spam.

Good to see that you have detected their fake team at the very beginning of their project launching. I have already posted a warning on their official ANN thread by providing this topic link but they are maintaining a self moderated topic. Like you said it also seems to me that they are using all these newbie account to continuously bump their topic and taking others attention.

I wish our forum users will maintain enough distance from this type of baseless projects who have only ability of stealing other people’s identity.

Wow, great find there regarding the fake photos. Don't know how you found it but that thread will be messed up because of what you found. Let's wait for their explanation on this then.

Open the flag too buddy. We have to make sure the warning banners appear to warn any logged out users and mainly newbies who are going to fall for these scams. I will support it and I am sure others will too.

Sockpuppet newbie accounts to bump up a thread is a well known method to make a topic look important while actually its all paid buzz. A well informed forum user of bitcointalk will know this and they will not be scammed. But the ones who will be scammed are the ones coming this for the first time.

There's a whole bunch of other accounts connected to this farm which posted in this thread, but I don't have time to get into it at the moment (I'll finish the list and tag everybody later). Their contract for the S4FE thread bumping seems to have expired on Nov. 1st.

I was just about to wrote the similar thing in their thread when I saw your warning so thanks for helping out! OP hasn't come back since he made the tread, so that warning is still there and that is a good thing.


Even though I didn't expect any excuse that we didn't hear before ("web developer we hired made a mistake", "photos got mixed up" or "Those photos are just placeholder") I still decided to give them some time to answer to these accusations. The thread starter deleted my comment regarding their scam so I suppose they're guilty without any excuses. Though I think these kinds of scamming activities might shift over to telegram scamming creating groups etc.

Ive supported the flag mate. You never failed to find those damn scammers. Defi is being haunted by these guys by introducing a copied paste platform and even used social personality to their own greed.

We can only wish for that, we all knew they will always come back with brand new identity and keep changing project names. Worse are always using other people identity.

Really base protocol? I am watching for this one since then, they have some good partnership and probably a gem based on our signal group. I dont know why they resort to bumping services in spite og a good stance of their project.

Those who come with bad intentions have nothing enough to prove themselves real. So when they get caught up with the community members and can’t accomplish their mission.

That's when they behave like this, when someone asks them a question, they avoid the question without giving a proper answer. Such activities are not possible by any good team member.
