Title: Lottery idea Post by: randomproof on April 01, 2011, 05:41:48 PM People send in, say, 5 bitcoins to a server, who then sends out several transactions, one for each participant sending all the bitcoins (minus a small fee) to them, Winner is decided by which transaction is successfully added to the new block.

It picks the winner based off another national lottery and uses it to find the winner based on the hashes of all transactions. Makes it hard to fake and everyone has equal odds of winning no matter when they entered. I'm working on getting an official site up soon.
