Title: Upcoming BCH hard fork question
Post by: Myleschetty on November 14, 2020, 05:16:35 PM
I believe it's not something new that BCH will undergo a hard fork tomorrow which could possibly generate a new coin but there's something I don't understand about the new coin which will be generated and also airdropped in the ratio of 1:1.
I am holding 0.1BCH does that mean I will also get 0.1 of the newly generated coin or the airdrop is not for people that hold at least 1BCH?

Anyone who holds BCH will be airdropped with the same coin, because BCH is also quite expensive, they can't just give preference to those holding more than 1 BCH.  I just hope this hard fork is as successful as BSV and get some big financial support behind, the price can pump very big since we are in the early stage of bull run.

Honestly I didn't know that the BCH would be having a fork tomorrow, well if they're giving it 1:1 I think it would be a great opportunity to by BCH right or not?

Thanks for the information. Just need to be sure of what will really happen and expect the hard fork to be successful since crypto market is gaining more exposure.

How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? You will be surprised!!!

Recently, I have a negative attitude towards these forks. This creates unnecessary information noise and causes misunderstanding for novice crypto users.
I believe that 8% of mining is a very large share for developers. This is bad practice for coin development.

Didn't know that there's a lot of Bitcoin Forks. Thanks for this I was planning on buying BCH so I would have a free fork coin but looks like it's not a good idea afterall.

Don't over emphasis this forthcoming fork mate becasue thousands of these generated coin(forked coins) where nothing to write home for becasue most ended up as scammed. The upcoming fork of BCH should be one among other fork that we hope to see successful but this isn't guarantee, but having a little stash of this Bitcoin Cash coin can make fortune in the future. Probably your holding of 0.1BCH will yield more profit after the airdrop from the fork.

Any fork is more like a fight for the pie between "miners, developers and investors."

Many forks have made large blocks that can accommodate a huge number of transactions, but the blocks are empty.
In this situation, the financial interest of the developers is discussed.
If they were offered a part of the miners' income for a certain period, then it would be a different situation

If it is in the ratio of 1:1 then that's what you will get except the ratio of the airdrop is calculated differently and am surprise to be hearing this only now, previous hard fork use to be spread like a wide fire but this fork seem relatively quiet, I hope this fork will bring good value and worth it as well.

So far that i know you will get same Amount like your Balance on new Chain (BCH Node), 0.1 BCH = Newly Forked 0.1 BCH, Also what BCH you holding, It's ABC Or SV? After reading it some article if i'm not wrong only People who hold ABC will get new forked Coin. It's was complicated for sure, BCH community have some complex things and i advice don't expect so much from this fork since newly concept was diverting block rewards to Dev Wallet/Team and the community didn't like it.

It's depend if they receive enough support for the new coins then it's mostlikely you will receive the same amount of new coins.

No idea if there is a minimum requirements that's needed to receive a free coins I only understand is you will receive the same amount once it's deploy.

Even some exchange doenst know what to do with this fork they are stopping any transaction from bch when the fork started  .

You can read different opinions of exchange here https://news.bitcoin.com/hash-watch-bitcoin-cash-services-reveal-contingency-plans-for-upcoming-fork/ .

As long as you are holding any amount of BCH coin in your wallet you will have the forks, just becareful when moving it because some of these exchanges won't have split and you would lose the fork. Forks apart, I would advice people to dump these coins, this is the end for BCH and they have lost their cause

I understand that you want to make money from the airdrop with this hard fork but if I were you, I wouldn't spend any penny buying it.

There are a lot of them, that's why it's not a good coin to buy if you are thinking of investing on it and you want to buy it just because of the hard fork. Spend elsewhere your money with a better coin.
