What is your aim in bitcointalk?

You participated few days back and created some topics to guide other newbies and gave your advice with poem, topics and posts. Why did you not spend your time to read topics and posts on the forum to increase your knowledge in crypto, forum.

You applied in my topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5261560.msg55689792#msg55689792) and I can say you are not accepted.

Any of your posts and topics don't show you are good members if you don't have knowledge about the forum and crypto.

Regardless I think the questions is  trivial and many would say they came for knowledge but their actions and other characters shows they don't care about having the knowledge they said they did care about. But knowledge improvement is hardly hidden so its need not to be said/spoken, if you need an inspiration from peoples answer you can check the interview on members of the forum

His aim is obviously to leech off bitcointalk. This is not his first account either, he has two previously banned accounts and soon to have 3rd. That probably won't discourage him from making the new ones. Rinse and repeat.

I would, I keep returning to this place for more and more information every year or two, because crypto keeps attracting me more and more.
Also this forum has a decade worth of experience. I don't think any other source can compete.
But that's just my opinion.

I have been on the forum with aim to make little scent but on looking at how the forum works, it's more than what I think. A place to learn, a place to share and gain knowledge, make friends as well read up on the development of cryptocurrency.
If one can support the forum, earning will be easy, that's what I have seen high profile do on this forum. They detect scammers who try to raise fund with fake projects and teams, some member teach in every trade, Ognasty for example is someone I respect in this forum, Yoshie is also a good example when it comes to bursting scammers.

In general, learn, teach and air your opinion should be everyone aim in this forum and lastly, if you have time you can earn as well.

Mistakes is a part of humanity but, it's not tolerated in Bitcointalk and you being back is really courageous of you but, you seem not to learn from your mistakes and that's a problem. Should you keep making them and giving people areason for you to be banned, your obviously stressing moderators and spamming the forum with needless accounts. You have to be fair to yourself and do what is right and acceptable in the forum. That's all I'll say to you for now @OP.

For your question, many of us would want to hide the fact that we aren't here to earn a few scents but in reality, that has always been the aim though, we don't take it serious anymore as, we've found a part that learning could be rewarding too.
Of course knowledge is everything so, you pay tuition fee to learn on school right but here is a school where your effort to learn could earn you a few scents so, my initiative switched to learning before earning. Besides, what would it be to earn without preserving that which you earn from. It would be a shame for we all to be here and let that we are passionate about and offers us a few scents end in chaos.
Hence, learning is just what you should be focused on.
When I saw Lauda live the forum, it became a reminder that earning with the forum isn't everything that is about the forum. We should think this way too.

For me - to learn and to educate. I have a lot more to learn than I have to educate but i do both. I try to read a lot about technical and economic aspects/impacts of bitcoin so as to better understand how blockchain works and how it can transform other areas of our world.

Bitcointalk has been a mostly wonderful community be a part of. There are some people who abuse their access or privilege but for the most part, people are good. And if you're willing to listen and read there is an incredible amount of really smart people to talk to here.

What's your aim, Thzo?

OK, some of you have argued -and it seems to be the general trend- that the main aim is to learn, and the more you learn the more able you are to make money here, but first of all to learn.

I agree with this point of view, but with the contrary too: luckiest members may have a lot of free time to learn, but many others have more responsibilities and less time; if you focus on making money, and you succeed, you will have more time and freedom to learn if that is your aim.

Many members who registered ten years ago are now millionaires: many quitted because that was their aim; many others keep learning and building, now full time. They are the real Bitcoin Core to me.

Of course, if you are newbie, there is little you can contribute, so you should focus on learning, but there will always be someone who knows less than you, some topic you can help with, and pretty soon there will be something you can do to make little money. It could be coding if you master any programming language, translating or simply posting on social media if you are active there. So the moral for me would be: try to learn, make money and be supportive at the same time, you don't have to stick just to one aim.

As for the other topic, I don't know about Thzo and maybe some of you are right and he deserves some scolding, but I hope he really wants to amend his mistakes so let's be supportive when in doubt :)

You should read the rules here carefully https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
Unfortunately, once you have been banned from the forum, you are not allowed to create another account to continue posting (That is called ban evasion). You are even worse because you have created three accounts or even more. If you really read the rules you wouldn't have been banned multiple times. This account will also be banned soon. Sorry about that. You could also create a ban appeal post in meta but your case doesn't look good.

What you did and what you said are different. You said you want to know about bitcoin, crypto but what you are doing on the forum to learn about bitcoin, crypto? Does joining bounty help you learn bitcoin and crypto?

When you join the forum, this one or any forum, read rules and don't break it. It is not wise to skip rules and say "hey, I did not read rules so I am free to break them".

Please lock the topic as your last respect on forum rule.

I wish the new forum software will be launched and all of us will going to transfer with it. If that software is an upgrade then we might be seeing or will going to experience a good way to learn which is probably inducive for the bitcoiners.

Well, being here in the forum is a privilege and are free whatever you want. The exchange of information here is one of the reason why keeping me in the forum not only for cryptocurrency but also to other news and current events. Earning from bounty is just a bonus and it should not be the reason for you to make it as a means of living. The profit from bounty hunting does not suffice for a living especially if you are a breadwinner. Hence, you need to find a real job or involve in business.

Anyway, one of the best feature in my own opinion is that the forum is not only for cryptocurrency but also about charity helpiglng other people especially in times of calamity and quick response is needed. I see @cabalism13 doing well in it as well as @CryptopreneurBrainboss.

Came here due to my interest in Bitcoin faucets and how to create one.

Stayed because I realized the importance of non-corruptible money and having self sovereignty over my own wealth.

It indeed depends on us. It can be either of the two of what you have said. But as for me, it's both. I have realized that it's important to learn and gain knowledge first about things happening here before you can earn money. And of course, you'll contribute better to this community that way. How about you, OP?

When i came on this forum first time, i had no intention of earning from this forum. Even i did not know that we can earn through forums.
Later i stayed on this forum as it was so informative and interesting and once i got the higher ranks, i decided to take part in signature campaigns while also increasing my knowledge about crypto.

Honestly I came here first cause I heard there is money here with the cause of airdrops. Well my start is all about earning. It took a while before I realize the forums goal and of course time wasted. But my goal changes to something valuable like learn more in the bitcoin industry and its extended perks.

Money is just a perks of having a good status here. What more important is you grasp every topic that discuss here and learn from it. Little or big an added knowledge can help you not only here but in real life applications.

The main goal of course is to want to get more money and that I came from the faucet to know about this forum.

In the beginning, I only aimed to join airdrop because I wanted to make more money after a long time in this forum I knew what it meant to know and be educated about how to seek knowledge without thinking about money entirely.

I know what the forum means now, many benefits and also contributions to very important information, not only that there is a lot of insight and I learned a lot here.

Actually this is not the first question I answer about what my purpose is in coming to the bitcointalk.org forum. I have answered it in one of the previous thread which are moderated by @fillippone and you can see it here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5219706.msg54125614#msg54125614).

I believe that I am not completely on the forum because of the money and that can be interpreted as a way for me to gain more knowledge. Just like you, without knowledge you can never get anything in crypto. Trading, investing and many other ways to make money in cryptocurrency require that we have some knowledge. Forum are knowledge bases about cryptocurrencies like libraries.

I would say that I don't have one specific aim here. Rather it's mix of different things. Offcourse, learning and sharing my knowledge is important things for me. I would lie if I'd say that money from signature campaigns isn't important for me - it play bigger or smaller role. But probably main thing - Bitcointalk become main my free time activity and I barely can live without it. It would be diificult to count how many times I visit Bitcointalk on my phone or PC every day.
Also, my goals had changed through all these years here. Same as @mk4, in my early days here my main interest here was faucets - how to earn from it, getting referral commission or starting my own faucet. But offcourse, priorities changed later, I got more knowledge and skills.

I had been on this forum because I was curious about cryptocurrency and bitcoin. Then I heard about being in the rank and could possibly make you some money if you are good contributors in this forum, so I decided to grab and be active for awhile.

Now, I am still here because I want to be updated on events while getting enough knowledge and at the same time sharing what i have learnt too.

My aim is to learn from other people and share information, I may be a long time member already but I must admit that I don't know everything and here in the forum, people are sharing the knowledge they know with that, I was able to learn a lot of things, in return, I help other people in the forum.
I'm not good at research so instead of looking hard on the internet in lots of ways, here I was able to know if it's correct since others will comment on something if it's right or wrong.

In the crypto world there is no satisfaction, we never have a definite goal, there is no limit to our goal of getting bitcoin.

We always make a good contribution to bitcoin everyday in the hope that we get more bitcoin, but that's not the end of our goal. Our goal is limitless, because in the future, bitcoin will be more valuable.

Okay, first of all I will not look on the alt accusations given to you. I'm just here to share my own answer regarding the question.

Yeah you are right, some are staying here to earn money and some are seeking for knowledge. While me, I'm both because why not? But actually, I don't actually have any mission here. I'm just a simple member who took advantage of earning opportunities present while dealing with my interests. I am engaging with the discussions here for 3 years already and still counting because the topics here are more sensible compared to other social media sites. That is the thing what I like in this forum — less toxic, more informative :).

Although this forum has helped me a lot about crypto. Is from this forum that I get to find out about ccryptocurrency, how it will be of help to our daily lives since we're divulging on digital era

There are thousands of members spread all over the world who come to this forum, each of them has a purpose, the point is to learn Bitcoin and crypto that has been made by satoshi at this time, in addition, there are many other things you can do after understanding and the main goals of members who are already on this forum.

Commerce, business, information, advertising, Bitcoin, drama, fraud, in-company cheating, beggars, gambling, entertainment, fun and much more, that's what people come to this forum for, However, all of that can be controlled because of the hard work of mods, trusted members and admins on the Bitcointalk forum.

Why that can happen and is the goal of greedy people, because other forums do not have it, like here.
for yourself what is the goal..!

My aim in bitcointalk is to learn more and become independent so that I can manage myself well when it comes to investments, trading, and etc.

I know that most of us are still incompletely knowledgeable towards cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and what is happening around the world. So I am here to learn more, I'm here to grow as an individual and to understand a lot of things regarding the economy, businesses, investments, and hard-work.

Therefore, I can earn profits depending on my effort, hard-work, good decision making, and critical thinking skill no matter the situation is.

This forum is really effective in build a community that will help each and everyone to trust and believe in bitcoin.

As someone who lives in a third-world country with a single dad supporting a family of five, this forum significantly contributed me to support myself as a post-graduate student.

I joined this forum last 2017 and I remembered that my primary goal was to earn. I guess most people share the goal as I did before so I joined campaigns in order to at least support myself by buying books and materials so that my dad could allocate the other expenses to my siblings. When I got involved in a ponzi scam (usi-tech), I lost ~$150 and I thought to myself that I had to contribute something which can help prevent others from experiencing my tragedy.

I changed my perspective in this forum and I tried my best to at least help via reporting scammers in the ANN boards.

It seems there is no specific purpose why I am in this forum. But people who advise me to join forum only say that join the bounty and you will earn more money than you have to gamble all the time. The bounty campaign has given me bitter memories of starting my forum journey so that I am and do not earn. I'm here because I know joining forum isn't just about bounty, but there's a lot more to learn. Being a contributor is an option, I'm not a forum contributor but just trying to be a helpful user.
