I am looking for a bitcoin payment gateway that works with WordPress as a plugin? Does anyone here have any recommendations?

Ideally, it would work without a third party but use an API to get the current exchange rate and automatically send the payment to a bitcoin wallet such as Electrum.

You can checkout Bitpay, I'm not certain if it is integrated with WordPress, but a quick search around suggests so. You would do your research on this.
It's open source and operates on an API. It also works with electrum wallets and is compatible with segwit addresses.

Well, you won't have a lot of options here. You may try the plugin from Blockonomics as it's easy to setup and use. The plugin author also have a video tutorial available.

But none of the cases satisfy your requirement to directly accept payment into your Electrum wallet. Unfortunately, I don't think any such options are available!

I think Cryptoniq is what you're looking for. It provides live bitcoin price feature and supports BTC, ETH, TRX, DOGE. There is no third-party involved and you will be directly placing your btc wallet address users will send payment to.

That doesn't look so convenient. If you take a look at the screenshots on the plugin's page, you will see that the user has to manually add bitcoin addresses.

Is here any Payment gateway which accepts major cryptocurrencies and fiat also? PayPal, Payoneer, credit cards... but that I have an option to convert all incomes to Bitcoin, and withdraw only one currency?

I think you may use the BTCPay server. Just a week back I made a payment on a website via the BTCPay server. The payment made in USD, and there were popups for the payments with a certain BTC amount within a certain time period. So, I think it would be helpful for you. Even you can set your own server so that you will no need to any third party. This means all the control will be under you including private keys.

Anyway, you may take a look Bitcoin Payment Processors (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5259548.0), so you can choose the right processor for you by comparing each other.

I've setup wordpress + woocommerce (plugin) + BTCPay for WooCommerce (plugin) and connected it to a standalone btcpay installation. The store is owned by somebody i know from bitcointalk, and it already accepted payments this way :)

As some member said, BTCPay is best option, the only downside is you need to setup BTCPay server by yourself. If you don't have ability to setup it by yourself, you can use third-party hosting (https://docs.btcpayserver.org/ThirdPartyHosting/ (https://docs.btcpayserver.org/ThirdPartyHosting/)), but you must trust them.


OP ask for best bitcoin payment gateway, not worst bitcoin payment gateway.

The only service I can think of is PaymentWall (WooCommerce supported). I'm not sure it's the best option for you since payouts are only made in fiat (PayPal or Wire transfer) but it's definitely good if you're looking to accept all kinds of payment methods (including crypto).
