anyway about Hitting 30k$? that is so early to expect because we must take the $25,000 value first and that is the next path for this climb.

But also get ready for what will happen in the next hours because if this is another trap better to be ready and cautious .

Yeah it's too early to start debating the next value for Bitcoin price, what we should be see from here is something can be a trap-run, there are's this tendency that some whales might be taking home profit for the Christmas celebration, so, let be more vigilant this time. Am very sure that, after this breakthrough the world will start gearing into Bitcoin and shortly mass adoption will set-inn.

Trap run or not I think it's a momentous resistance now for the bitcoin price, what's really upsetting now on Binance is there's some kind of error now buying in. I don't know if this was just on my end about the low internet connectivity or something or there are others who seem to have a similar issue. That might be a possible scenario considering that the former ATH was set tomorrow too on the 17th.

I really thought the end of the year will be boring because people would rather think of spending, christmas gifts and stuff. We are at 20470 and climbing!

This is the most awaited part of this year and indeed something of a relief after what we have experienced the whole year in general. Atleast even in this aspect, something good happened. Breaking the previous ATH is indeed promising but I guess it will still be hard to conclude that things will not be consistent knowing how long the market price stayed at 'peaks'. And the nature of this market volatility states that things are not consistent. Not to be a pessimist but correction might occur eventually. But I won't disagree to the fact that there is indeed a possibility for the price to continue. What I am trying to point out is that, we can only determine possibility but not actually certainty in this market. For now, celebration would be fine. Whether to hold still or sell already, depends on how you will analyze the market as an investor.

There has been speculations from all crypto corners on how 2021 will be the year of crypto. No doubt that it's very possible judging from the trend of Bitcoin price appreciations over the years. Analysts believe that every fourth year in the ecosystem comes with huge value appreciations to the level of 3 - 5 times of the value at the beginning of the year. Going by that projection, I can only watch and stay hopeful that it does happen. But I advise investors and speculators to be vigilant and invest wisely.

I have said it in some of the messages I posted today that if the Bitcoin market dont make a ATH price this week we shouldnt predict any ATH this year but I was shocked when i saw this thread and it good something positive is happening in the market but this recent pump is not for long.

If the trend continues throughout this week yes but market correction can happen at any moment.

I already anticipate this post. Yipee! I already watch live on how bitcoin aggressively surpass its highest price. Breaking 20K usd seems to be a glorious day for bitcoin. Now, the pressure is on. Demand of buyers are totally outnumbered the sellers. Let us all welcome a new highest price of bitcoin. I shocked when I saw my bitcoin in binance jumping 6 percent today. I am glad on how bitcoin moves, it is an early celebration for us traders of crypto.

It is a great day for the Bitcoin community. The hodlers are the heroes in the 20k war. It went up to $20800, and the Bitcoin can be more bullish over 20k.

I already anticipated that threads like this will appear in the forum because of the new achievement that Bitcoin has made.

I already marked the date in my calendar as Bitcoin has passed through the $20,000 price. Quite happy for a bit but I knew that this will happen already. Its just a matter on when it will happen. I just hope that it will sustain that small run and there aren't that much sellers in the market anymore. Congratulations to us Holders :).

30k will be the next reasonable target for bitcoin to be achieved next year. There will be so many press release about the new achievement that achieved by bitcoin.
This could bring us another big wave too.
I thought that bitcoin will also break 21 as the next ATH. Im so glad to see that happen before 2020 will have passed.

Congratulations to all of us who patiently waited for this moment, looks like this is not the end I really can think that the price of Bitcoin will not just break $20,000 but even more with the high demand and the companies that will be using it there's no doubt that this will increase more.

The target has reached the new ATH. Wow, that's amazing.

Many investors are enthusiastic about this increase so quickly before the end of the year and this will continue to increase according to seeing its significant movement so I think this will continue to make up for the high levels that has happened in the market.

Bitcoin hit $20,000 and then $20,600 in just a moment. Wow so amazing that Bitcoin reached that mark not in a week or even in 24 hours but just an hours. I think, not impossible to hit $30k next year if this amazing increase last for a long time. Ready your bags coz maybe altcoins are the next to jump.

I was not really expecting that it would reach $20k before the year ends, but this is definitely great news to end the year with a lot of negativity. This is another achievement to be recorded in the history of bitcoin. But as for reaching $30k next year, it's still hard to say that, but let's hope that 2021 will be a good year for us as well, and I'm looking forward to it.

I already expected it after a long period of time that bitcoin is still at $18K above. Maybe there are new billionaires and millionaires investing in bitcoin that caused to reached more than $20k now. This is an early bonus for everyone who hold bitcoin.

Even Ledger Live seems to be unable to track the proper counter value after reaching the ATH. Version 2.18.0 seems to have an issue and is not updating.

Anyhow, from the perspective of someone who entered the market at around the ATH, it’s taken 3 years to get back to the same point … but it’s not really, is it? Pricewise it is, but the reasons and muscle that back the price is way different now, and seems that the price has been reached in a rather organic manner, with the additional of new players, and not due to a generalized average joe fomo, like we saw during the end of 2017.

BTC has reached its new ATH. the new ATH reaches $21,458.91 USD by Dec 16, 2020 as shown in CMC (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/).

At that moment, many exchanges are down and the traffic is so crowded. Everyone is having a party at this new ATH.

Hopefully, but, will it have a deep market correction at first before reaching that amount, or will continue without market correction? I must be careful about this  :D

Just woke up from this good news, wow above $21k now and keeps on climbing? Wonder what keeps the price on a massive spike on the last 24 hours? Are there any significant news that trigger this? or it is just technical analysis telling us the the last couple of weeks, when bitcoin was trading in a so-so sideways with poor volume that an imminent run will come before the end of this year?

In any case, let's see where it goes, it's too early to see what patterns are forming before the last two weeks of this year.

Waiting for 25

Well we should not be surprised if we see Bitcoin breaks $30,000 that's really insane. Some people says that it will go even up to $100k I'm not really sure if that's true but that's possible right?

Not only you, I also don't expect bitcoin to rise by $20,000 in 2020, but unfortunately it has and the price of bitcoin today is $23,000.
If you look at the chart there should be a correction soon, and it is very unlikely that bitcoin can touch $30000 this year, if 2021 I believe there is still a chance to happen.

A ground breaking milestone for bitcoin and everyone are happy indeed that it took three years before it hit the "all time high" this year and many predicted that it would hit before end of the year. Next year will be an exciting for us because it will continue the trend and propel the price even higher.

Yeah, Finally Bitcoin will cross $20000  8)
It will cross $23.5k+ . According to history, it has never been pumped before. I think soon it will cross $25k.

All signals and indicators telling that we are going to reach 25k in no time. But I have a gut feeling that there will be a surprise dump coming before or after new year. This is same feeling last 2017 which everybody is so positive about ATH then suddenly it crash after some whale sell a big chunk of there stock. I'm taking profit if the price close 25k. Still holding above that price level is already a dreedy move IMHO.

So history repeats right? There is always a rally, which starts after some 6-12 months from the block reward halving. We had a really in 2013, after the block reward halving in 2012. The same occurred in 2017, after the block reward halving in 2016. And the latest block reward halving was on 2020, and in less than 6 months time we are having another rally. The exchange rates are getting very predictable now.

Have just Break the $23,642 recently so i think 30k is much far to hit , Maybe 25,000 is the best target for now and for sure these Holder now are going to exit for a while so better also to expect that fact.

Yes it's around 23k and it can hit 25k next some days ,imean in 2020 but 25k above ,I don't think so ,and yes in cryptocurrency market there is nothing impossible because ,I saw 3 days ago bitcoin was around 17k and just in 2 days it breaks it's all time hits.so anything can happen In crytocurrency market.

There is no guarantee that the exchange rates are going to hit $30,000 within the next two weeks. In fact we don't know whether the current level can be maintained or not. During the last few days, Bitcoin went up by almost $4,000. Naturally when an asset goes up by this much, profit booking may occur. But in case of Bitcoin, we haven't seen any profit booking till now. It may occur in the next week or by early January.

I'm positive that it will hit the 30K mark by the end of January 2021!!!!!! :o

i think bitcoin price increase 50k.

Let's not just ahead of ourselves, I don't know but I think that is too much for the market to ask. I think ending the year above $20k is already enough for me. I would rather wait for 2021 to fully see bitcoin peak again, not at the end of the year as this might look for artificial and it could follow by a big pullback which might disappoint us.

So let's wait and see, the trend is very bullish, but I'm not confident of the sudden spike, so to speak. What happened if we suddenly see a 35% retracement? People are going to bitch around and we might see another shake out from the weak hands.

I hope this prediction comes true! The highest estimate so far.

Keep your optimism burning but also be realistic, I expect some correction along the way, I'm wishing the best price the market can bring, $30k mark is possible there was optimism on all time high this year but it happens so we expect things to happen, we can wish but we have to be realistic and accept whatever the market brings.

Right and it is more realistic that the chance to break 30k price within end of this December, there would be a downward movement before going to 30k but it will temporary.
Now a re-test towards 20k is expected if we want to hold our position for long run.
but the current RSI isn't confirm this retest anymore. IMO this retest will be more meaningful and stronger if we will touch 30k price.

It breaks already the new ATH right now its 32200. I am amazed how BTC market doesn't have any correction yet I am thinking that it will make a large correction after breaking 32k but its look like Im wrong . its really hard to predict right now what will be the next move of bitcoin it will dump or it will continue to climb upto 40k.

Its just really hurts when already sell your bitcoin  ;D ;D no one really expects the market price of bitcoin to reach up to 30k$ in just a small amount of time at the end of 2020.

And it is still pumping probably trying to reach up to 40k$ the more it pumps the more it hurts, how I wish and hope that the market would be stable at around 10k$-20k$.

It is just really scary to gamble buying bitcoin when you're not planning for the long term investment, and you could not make more profit if your gonna risk.

Haha, I remember way back 2016 when many people wait for a correction but it never happen and the whales continue enjoying the price on top without looking back from its price before. The same with this day when bitcoin break the 20k ATH while other is waiting for correction bit continue to climb up.maybe if this continue to happen  we will be forced to buy at higher price because bitcoin will not go down again.

So it broke the $30k mark too, soo much money in so less days. Those who were in this for more than a year (means bought it in early days when BTC was still getting adopted), they should just enjoy the bull run as of now while I believe that others should just spectate a bit and wait for the right opportunity to buy in and that'll come after a correction. Correction will happen, the only question remains when. Looks like supply is getting exhausted and demand has increased suddenly, there's too much fight in between giant level investors to taste this very sweet BTC cake.  ;)

Bitcoin is currently breaking it's own limits in which breaking the ath $20,000 on the first time and right now it's breaking the most ath which is $30,000 and still breaking its odds going to $40,000. This probably the greatest news of all time when we are talking about cryptocurrency, and right now ethereum is also breaking also the market value and going to $1,000. Congratulations for those people who are holding until now.

I think the biggest value in bitcoin in January could reach $ 50k, and will re-make corrections first before reaching a new ATH later.

Why is that? Bitcoin movement has reached a new ATH of almost 50% in just a few months, of course this is very dangerous if suddenly there is a very deep correction. I think buying at a discount when bitcoin is corrected is the right thing to do.

Because it hasn't broken the 40k yet, yes the prices touched the 40k zone but many considered it not a break in the 40k resistance, including me. Hopefully we will reach that point sometime this year and the next point will be smooth sailing if the pattern follows.

The renewable ATH not long after you posted has been $ 41,940 so what you say will break the $ 40K is already done.
but indeed now bitcoin always surprises, sometimes it can fall back and soon it will increase anyway, so now bitcoin is short-term, not just a long-term investment.

Have been following bitcoin price since January 2020 and bitcoin was doing well before the crash in March 2020 due to covid19, after the crash I really believe bitcoin is still going to do well and bitcoin is still going to jump massively around July 2020 bitcoin was around $10k I  advised all my friends to buy and hold some of them did why must of them did not I really believe bitcoin is going to hit another all time high last year that's 2020.
Around September 2020 bitcoin was rising rapidly and I knew bitcoin was still going to pump hard around November bitcoin pumped hard and moved above $20k, around middle of November bitcoin hit $30k and around early December 2020 bitcoin hit all time high which is $42k and made a retrace to $31k.
Currently bitcoin price is still very low to buy most people have been thinking bitcoin price is high and they are thinking it will dump so they are scared of buying, I will tell you bitcoin price is still very low and I will ask anyone to buy bitcoin now and leave if for few months and see what bitcoin price will be by then bitcoin is going to pump well this 2021 so bitcoin price is still very low everyone can buy now.

In my view, Bitcoin has still a bullish market structure. So I guess it will able to retest the 30000$ level again and if it has a pump we can expect BTC at the 50000$ level. But if it breaks the 30000$ level It will further dump to the level of 20000$. But collecting satoshis will never be worthless. And you know the time that Bitcoin will be major currency pair in local market soon.

I may not so optimism but the next best milestone is 80k.

Why 80k? because in July 2010, bitcoin began trading at a value of US$0.0008

Hitting $80k on July 2021 will MARK a 10,000,000,000% increase in a span of 11 years.

It sounds good and if it somehow hits, you can create a new thread with these specifications as i never thought like that and to think that the price rallied from $0.0008 to where it is now in a decade is just mind boggling and anyone who was holding bitcoin and sold well before these rallies will be cursing themselves for missing these opportunities .

Perhaps it was a good 'number' to be hit, significant numbers in the last 11 years.

But I think this will be just lost for those bitcoin investors, the big number that we are all looking for is $100,000. And for those who sold early? You can't blame them, again during it's early years, only a handful believed in this nascent technology, cyberpunks, bitcoin developers. Others bought and make a good profit of $1000 and think that it is good enough.

I agree. In retrospect, we'd be realizing our gains if the returns are doubled at least. Never seen anything that reached such high figures so the ones becoming self-made millionaire or billionaires are usually those that either almost forgot their stash existed or couldn't recover the keys to theirs prior.

this Post is created on December 16, and before it even reaches its third month the bitcoin price has tripled! Does it means the $80k mark could be hit even before the month of July! Many people are having a good time now. I hope it could be one of you.  :)

Right, and obviously, we have seen $80k already, although it didn't hold that long and sustain it as the price dips to $55k. Nevertheless, I've seen some posters saying that $50k is already the top. I guess bitcoin proves them wrong again.

As for $80k, definitely it's doable, $60k-$80k will be the next obvious target and then if everything went our way, 5 digits before the end of the year.

I think you are in typo error here. Maybe, you mean $60k as we haven't reached the $80k mark yet. But on the other note, 3 months from when the OP posted this thread and bitcoin has gone a long way already. Those who bought last year are already enjoying their huge profits. That is, if they waited this far. Anyway, I believe, bitcoin will still grow and will not stop in the $50k+ level as there are still institutions that are still buying. And the adoption is also growing. So I don't think, we will stop in the 50s level.
