Some hours ago (25th Dec) all of my rigs dropped ETH hashrate to -30/40%.

Regardless of miner software, the 1070 were hashing at 25mhs and now at 17mhs. Same issue with 1080ti.. from 45mhs to less than 20mhs.

I will try updating drivers, but this looks more related to epoch than miner/driver.

same with my win7 rigs. 1080ti, went down to ~18MH

last time it runs like this was when i'm using 4gb system ram.....i upgraded to 6gb, the issue resolved.

and then today, both 6gb and 8gb (system ram) rigs at the same time becomes ~18MH

windows 10 rigs with 1080ti unaffected

updated driver to 460.89, tested gminer 2.37, phoenixminer 5.4c, t-rex 10.0 and 11.1 ...didn't work

That is really strange.  I have 1660, 1070, 1070ti rigs that are all hashing the same with Trex miner under hiveOS

What operating system do you use for mining? If Windows, now is the best time to switch to Linux

according to the gtx 1070 it was affected by a design problem, the curious thing is that there is not much recent information on the loss of performance in mining ethereum due to the too large dag

It's probably a problem with vram, GPUs with 6gb or 8gb memory can't be affected, I will advice you find another good miner to give a try, you can download phoenix miner to see how it performs, it's either the epoch or the miner you are using presently

there is significant hashrate drop in ethermine Pool Statistics exactly the time my miner (Phoenix) drop hashrate. i think its related to new epoch 384 and dag size or maybe ethermine pool and not your or mine`s miner.

Gminer only worked on 1 of 3 rigs for me.  No temp or OC controls on it either.

had this issue for months accorosd multiple 1070 rigs all 8 gig cards makes no sense

I have the same issue for a long time and until now I can't find any solution yet.


Oh it seems it's already fixed with gminer what driver you currently use?

Opppsss.... I tried today it seems the problem still the same with low hashrate...

What driver you currently use? Can you share your bat file I just want to try your settings?

drivers are 430.86, 451.67 and 460.89 all of these works

my .bat is very basic


you might be using 4gb system ram, make it at least 6gb .....this issue was already long ago too when it slowed my 1080ti, this might be your issue.

its not the ram i do have a 16 gig ram

might have something to do with page file ? 1070 only gets 25 m/s with 500 mem boost and 80% power it used to get 31 , 1070 Ti is unaffected
I also tried gminer same deal

my page file is set to total vram, if i got 3x 1080ti (11gb vram), then 11x3 = 33gb page file.

We might be talking about different hashrate.

Can you share your hashrate for 1070 and 1080ti? Already tried running one card with a single 4gb ram but the result still the same.

Right now my 1080ti running at 44mh/s, pl+160.
What hashrate do I expect from gminer since you suggested it as you fixed your issue?

Probably windows update is turned on I guess, this always slow down mining hashrate, it's why windows sucks for mining, Linux and separate mining OS are way better, get hiveOS or ETHos  for convenient mining
