Title: ltc.tbdice.org stole around 200 000 DOGE coins
Post by: achkn on January 03, 2021, 03:07:40 AM
Hello
Sorry for my bad english.
I'm a poor little miner and a long time i mine on ltc.tbdice.org
But today my a*s is totally burned. I check my wallets and pool stats. I'm shocked.

I found confirmed DOGE blocks, but I have not payout
for Blocks
19946 19915 19914 19913 19912 19778 19714 19713 19712
19707 19695 19693 19690 19689 19688 19685 19684 19667
19614 19613 19600

Correctly paid blocks
19803 19719 19718 19717 19716 19711 19687 19682 19681
19680 19679 19678 19677 19676 19674 19672 19671 19666
19665 19664 19619 19610 19609 19607 19606 19605 19604
19603 19602 19601 19599 19598 19597 19596 19595 19594
19593 19591 19590 19589 19588 19587 19586 19582 19581
You can easily check this on the DOGE found block page: http://ltc.tbdice.org/ablocks.htm

This is my Doge address DA25CpemT7UmvJwLDGZRUSugxPkUUzf72p
(My LTC address showing in stats is LW2c3axqLoGrcBf5gzzEW614AYGuvsbkuL)
Pool says - "DOGE: If you find a block, 95.0% of the 10 000 DOGE+ transaction fees get generated directly at your doge address!"
I have not another adresses. This is my mining address. Only one time i change address and found block 19946.
All blocks is confirmed, and my funds goes to random addresses stored in pool wallet.
You can check transactions. Pool have comission from my blocks.
This is around 201600 DOGE.
I'm depressed. This is a very big money for me. I can leave on this money around 2-3 years.
I'm up in the Christmas morning and think to eat a chicken. Now the chicken will be gone  :'(
If you think to mine DOGE coins - do not mine on ltc.tbdice.org! Don't make my mistake!

I tagged the pool owner and thread runner.  I am sorry for your losses.

I am asking the mods to move the thread to  alt coins pool section

Well, here the newest Club member....

Mined Block 3605764....

In the Block List there is my Worker ending with ...xs.R2. I have a LTC Adress begining with "L"

The Block was rewarded to DUNMBj6U7peev6RHw89nnNHnTXs8W4uJjf, but my Adress is different (ending ...FNp).

I put the settings like described into the nicehash settings (diff_xxxxxxx:DOGE Adress in password field) and my Adress was black shown, not red.

As far as I know, only the succesful mining wallet can receive the Block....but the ID is of course the LTC adress. So is my suggestion right, that my mining performance was just relocated to this other DOGE Wallet ? Because the DOGE Wallet Adress is only written in the "-p"-textfield ?

 ???  :-\

Thx in forward.

This could be just a technical problem with your miner configuration. I had similar problem yesterday (no coins stolen, I found this problem very soon, my miner was highlighted in red that it mines to the pool but there was no explanation why and it was not easy to find what is wrong).

DOGE address is configured in password field at ltc.tbdice.org. Format is "x:DOGEaddress" but it can be more complicated. When DOGE address is misconfigured, pool donates reward to some pool DOGE address.

1) check that DOGEaddress in password field is after "x:"; "x" could be just "x" or definition of mining difficulty, like "diff_16384"

2) check how password is passed to the miner. Some miners combine username and password in one parameter, like
Code:
cgminer -O "$USERNAME:$PASSWORD"
(or --userpass). This doesn't work with this pool because ":" is used as separator in password field! You have to pass username and password in separate arguments, like
Code:
cgminer -u "$USERNAME" -p "$PASSWORD"
(or --user and --pass)

The problem with pool ltc.tbdice.org is that it doesn't report miner status in good way and it is difficult to find such configuration problem... Other problem is that it uses ":" as separator in password field! Other pools, like ZERGpool, use "," as a separator and that is better option...

This works:

Code:
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://tbdice.org:13333 -u "LUNyycVonDH9aQMZn1fxyUeu8N3yS8w7ud.RIG1" -p "x:DFeviTwbDbJXgjPRS6zxe74Z4hodvRrTKP:yourmail@somedomain.com:type=51"

This doesn't work, password is "damaged":

Code:
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://tbdice.org:13333 -O "LUNyycVonDH9aQMZn1fxyUeu8N3yS8w7ud.RIG1:x:DFeviTwbDbJXgjPRS6zxe74Z4hodvRrTKP:yourmail@somedomain.com:type=51"

I had this problem with a small ASIC miner, I only configure pool parameters to the HTML form and firmware starts cgminer in the background; firmware started cgminer with "-O $USERNAME:$PASSWORD" and this damaged the password field, and pool tbdice received password without DOGE address... I had to login to my ASIC miner (manufactured by AntMiner) and modify the script in the firmware, the script that started cgminer. It is possible that other miners from AntMiner
have similar "bug".

I have only one miner so it was "easy" to find that something is wrong. I think that when miner has several devices those mine to the same wallet and several of them are configured correctly and one or two have some configuration problem, it could be difficult to notice the problem...

BTW, I am new with tbdice pool, I have not found any block yet. It is possible that there is some other problem and found block is sent to wrong wallet...

I have been mining on TBDice for years, same config.  Always got my DOGE blocks with the LTC blocks, or the DOGE only.  Then is just quit working, not just for me but for everyone.  Even the E-Mails when you find a block quit working.  I am owed DOGE for about 25 blocks going back a couple years.

I mine my ltc and doge at viabtc.com

I use pps+ they pay some coin every day.

I have a referral code

Referral Code: 257609
https://www.viabtc.com/signup?refer=257609

or just sign up

https://www.viabtc.com/signup?

ether way you get the same money.

if you use my code I get a tiny cut of the fee you pay.  you fee is not bigger.

It is plain bad to mine with the solo pool.

of course if you sign with viabtc.com  they will want an email and a cell phone number.

Ok. If i have not payout of my confirmed blocks until 13.5.2021 I will have to submit an application to the Bulgarian law court.
