I see you guys talking about the 2013 version, I have noticed 2 of them on ebay so thought I would share the links below. These 2013 coins are not my listings and are nothing to do with me. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-2013-Silver-25-BTC-Physical-Coin-1oz-999-Silver-Bitcoin-Special-QR-Code/224318114402?hash=item343a66ca62:g:icUAAOSwNF5eb83S https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-2013-Silver-25-BTC-Physical-Coin-1oz-999-Silver-Bitcoin-Special-QR-Code/224309069377?hash=item3439dcc641:g:icUAAOSwNF5eb83S Title: Re: A Silver bullion Bitcoin Post by: Evilish on January 10, 2021, 09:02:51 PM I haven't seen any of these around before.
Upon some research I found this (https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/new-liberty-dollar-silver-qr-coin-obtains-live-bitcoin-prices-1375749407) article from 2013 which explains some of the semantics behind this physical collectible. Very interesting. The QR code resolves to "http://bitcoldhardcash.com/ag" which shows the current price (in BTC) of 1 oz of silver which I am assuming this coin is made out of. The coin in the ebay listing seems like it hasn't been taken care of too well. Interesting piece of history nevertheless. I will be following your ebay listing. Interested in seeing how much it sells for. Title: . Post by: minerjones on January 10, 2021, 09:49:06 PM .
