If bitcoin surpasses the $60K level then it will hit higher than $100K

If bitcoin surpasses the $60K level than it will hit higher than $100K. For altcoins I won't suggest you to hold the tokens/coins having marketcaps in billions except top 5. It is also possible that big altcoins like ethereum may drop to 0.016 BTC if Bitcoin jumped to $100K. But I am not afraid regarding Litecoin because Litecoin is next to bitcoin. Litecoin will hit higher than 0.005 btc and possible to make its resistance at 0.01 BTC. For other altcoins like ADA, Algorand etc I won't suggest to hold as in Btc these altcoins will be dropped to half (around 50% decrease is possible) even ADA has the upcoming update in FEB. But I suggest you to hold altcoins having marketcaps lower than 50 million like ARK and it is possible for ARK to having greater marketcaps than 50 billion in the future. FOR Miota and EOS the bitcoin dominance won't affect because both altcoins have faced a long term btc dominance so the bear market will prefer to hold these alts rather than to sell them.

I will like to make my comment using only Bitcoin, Bitcoin is likely to cross $100,000 as predicted by some analysts although analysts predictions may be wrong but I do not doubt this. If this will happen, it will be as a result of institutions that are more investing in bitcoin, Bitcoin price is still in its low stage, it will still increase because it is a deflationary currerency. With institutions adoption coupled with fomo retail investors, it is likely for bitcoin to cross $50000, and possibly $60000. If these do not happen this time, it will still happen later in which Bitcoin will cross $100000. These are certainties, it will still become things of the past when bitcoin attain $2 trillion and more.

I want to aim the 50k first before seriously thinking about 100k. That's a long way to go but it is possible if more financial institutions will pour their assets into crypto. And if adoption among individual users will go strong in the coming days or years, such price level is really attainable. That means, we will be seeing a higher percentage of users as well as merchants accepting crypto. Let's hope that transaction fee will be competitive in the market and will not be a burden for small crypto users.

Break that 40k first before talking about 50k or 60k or 100k. This would be a bumpy ride and this cant be easily achieved in a short span of time
but well here on crypto we can see prices that can shoot up without even realizing nor expecting for it to happen.Let the market move on its
own and also its better to cherish nor utilize these movements for you to make out some bucks and not just sit down and just
waiting for you to enter when its already high.

$100k still far from the way it looks but it looks like it will be...
we have already seen that when Bitcoin crosses $ 20k it keeps going up and becomes $ 40k. maybe if Bitcoin has reached $ 60k then the price will continue to go up to $ 100k or more. I am very optimistic that later there will be more companies that will make Bitcoin their safe haven so that the price of Bitcoin continues to soar.

As expected on Bitcoin, we just saw a small pullback and now were back to the level of $40k which is really good to know. If we are able to create another peak this Month, then I’m confident that we can reach the level of $60k in just a short period of time. We have to monitor Bitcoin closely as it gets more volatile in the coming days.

The price prediction for bitcoin up to $100k has been heard anywhere. JP Morgan is even telling of $146k and while some other banksters are telling more than that. It is imminent to reach those prices and what's important for this moment is to be patient while waiting for those prices to be reached.
$60k is just another addition of $20k. And we've seen bitcoin just made it within less than a month. From hitting $20k again and after just a very few weeks, it has met $42k.

Always mind of the probability on having correction or price decline or some sort of trend change before we would able to reach those numbers and also there are main factors needed before the market could reach up that high. 100k usd isnt something that can be attained without sufficient reason. If adoption is already on the global scale then we can really talk to this but dont rush on minding these numbers
because this will really be just stressing you out because this will really be still a long talk.Lots of speculations and presumptions will be on this price and its better to
stick into low digits first before jumping on to that high.

I recently heard predictions from most people about the price of bitcoin reaching $ 100,000. although it is still a long way off, I am sure it will. maybe next year. because it is necessary to see how the current analysis takes us very seriously. not only fully believe because I think bitcoin needs to break some steps like $ 50,000- $ 60,000- $ 70,000 and so on. of course this takes a long time. unless bitcoin holders can crack their passwords after 10 years locked in the wallet which is currently a concern.

Predictions are buzzing around the crypto space, with many thinking that it is not that crazy for BTC to reach 100K by the end of 2021.

Seeing how it reached 20K and higher before the end of 2020 is placing a lot of faith in BTC. Not many people thought BTC could make it to 20K, but by the end of 2020 BTC exceeded that by miles. So, depending on whether investors still see BTC more attractive than gold and other traditional methods, it is possible that this bull run may lead to 100K  ;D

I like the optimism and even me, who doesn't want BTC to reach $100,000 value. Lots of analysis already although in the end, no one can accurately tell the things that can happen sooner or later.

For now, I like to focus on the realistic prices we can see as of now. $30,000, $40,000, $50,000.

We can see that $100,000 price soon but too early to discuss. Regarding altcoins, we have different views about this so just follow what we think is right.

Sure, Bitcoin will be everyone's favorite choice, but that's really good advice from you. "To hold altcoins having marketcaps lower than 50 million". There are a lot of good options.
For me, I also wouldn't mind holding onto other altcoin currencies such as TRX, VET, ZIL, IOTA, and these currencies seem to me that they might fetch a good price if Bitcoin rises to the top of  100K$.

It is very likely that Bitcoin when it exceeds the $ 60k level if it manages to reach $ 100k, being above that value many will buy and buy bitcoin due to the emotion that it unleashes in people, apart from the institutions will be ready to buy in the corrections that appear, if it reaches $ 100k I'm sure it will exceed.

This might possible that this bull run will lead to the price of $100K at the end of this year and also possibly will not, or it will drop down below $30K but I don't think it will have a further drop below $20K.  For now, we have experienced a short correction, the price has been dropped but I still a healthier market, it will surely resist and ready to rise again.  Though all of these are all my assumptions, I can't be assured it will accurately happen.

Regarding altcoins, you're pretty safe if you will invest in the top 10 altcoins in CMC.  Let's always give a big share to Bitcoin and Ethereum in investment and avoid newly listed projects.

So many analyst on bitcoin prediction and that is beginning to confuse many. To be realistic too is better staying with the price and I believe bitcoin is yet to have a correction before this huge price prediction can start up. So if we keep having hope for highvprices , it may bring temptation for a wrong analysis.

We did only hope for the price to reach its ATH but bitcoin did really surprise us a lot when it able to break out even 25k levels or 30k without any effort or hardship or even on a short time period which we hadnt able to see
in all the years where bitcoin is still starting up or to those earlier years. If this run would really continue then expect that we would really be reaching 100k usd in no time even though i wont really believing that it can be attained nor achieved in this year 2021.There would be lots of sell-off points when those big investors or to those who do accumulate while its still cheap.Expect for a bumpy ride and those hopes shouldnt really be
widen to a certain extent on where you arent even making some unrealistic goals in mind.Set and secure profits while you can because this isnt an opportunity that can be seen for a while. Doubts? Im just playing
safely and secure. LOL!

Bitcoin is quite stable at the 30k - 40k range and we don't know when bitcoin will be able to break 60k range even when bitcoin is not even broken 50k range too.
We must be a real person. Even when bitcoin can break it and it doesn't mean 100k can be achieved instantly.
We will see whether the chart is still showing the bullish signal or otherwise the opposite thing will happen. It seems like bitcoin failed to break 40k resistance.

The rally in BTCitcoin is helped by financial institutions and they determine whether the rally would continue breaching new milestones, adoption among individuals is what i want to see as an enthusiast rather than these institutional pump and dump. In terms of merchants accepting cryptocurrency it all depends upon how the transaction fees can be maintained to a certain level with faster confirmation and we might even see regulation in the cyrptocurrency space in the near future and all these will have an impact in the market.

Let's hope that transaction fee will be competitive in the market and will not be a burden for small crypto users.
Till now the transaction fees in BTCitcoin is not that high compared to the last rallies as we could make a transaction with 30 SAT/B and get a confirmation within half an hour which is pretty decent.

Understandably, 100k is still a dream for many of us and being practical and realistic about the situation is the most rational approach. We will never know, speculations tend to come true and everyone back then did not believe that bitcoin will ever reach a certain amount but then it happened, there is no divine mystery behind, it is all just a matter of time that we will reach this mark and everyone will be celebrating. Investors are still pouring their money so the resistance might be broken in just a matter of time now.

Bitcoin expected to hit $100k, so it should surpass $60k to reach that level, I wouldn't say $100k is the limit but it still far ahead. First, bitcoin has to establish strong support above $40k then we can speculate about $50k, then $60k. Eth and Ltc are the best two coins after bitcoin, the market fluctuates following bitcoin but only those two coins manage to hold a good position although other altcoins drop against the rise of bitcoin.

I mean $100K actually closer than what people think it is,Maybe we just hear the number $100K and think it's so much and something valued at that price point might be crazy but that's not actually true. Just see how bitcoin could climb up from $30K to $40K like so fast. What it takes for bitcoin to reach that price point($100K) is just mass adoption. Bitcoin is hard capped total supply will stay the same or even decrease. At some point it's gonna be more scarce than some minerals (or it already is?). $100k is reasonable if you see from that perspective.

I have observed that litecoin doesn't really follow bitcoins pattern any more just it did a few years ago. Litecoin has hit $300 or even more in 2017 when Bitcoin prices were half of what it is now today, but now litecoin is floating around $150-$170 without much movement. I think the surge in price for litecoin was also because the whole market was up and not just Bitcoin. 2021 will be a very interesting year for us crypto enthusiastic people ;D

It will take some time.

There are a lot of people that are so amazed by how the price of Bitcoin rose to $40K. It is more than $40K and since it is still hanging at $36K right now, it still has that potential of increasing to $50K or maybe $60K. That price level is possible but I don't think it will be reaching $100K this year or the next since I know there will be a lot of people that would take advantage of the next ATHs.

How and why? People has been making insane predictions the last few weeks without any solid factual backups. I have seen people making prediction that within few months, if there isn't any resistance, the price will exceed $200k USD. But, based on what? Are they trying to spread fomo among people?
Even the altcoin predictions that you have done over here needs explanation. Lower market cap coins are profitable in what sense? Never heard of Miota and Ark though. Even bitcoin reached $60k, it is going to take more than few months since we are yet to see market corrections. I am hearing about this new regulation coming from FinCEN where we will have to register and declare our private wallets if we want to use exchanges. Not sure how this is going to affect the market.

I disagree.

Seeing Bitcoin jumped from $20,000 to $42,000 in just two weeks if I'm not mistaken was already a proof that $100,000 per Bitcoin is not too far from now. However, of course, whenever it'll make new ATH(s) it will surely going to have a little or big correction that'll make it relax fluctuating in a very little price gap only, and then it'll try to destroy the resistance and fly again. It will just going to repeat over and over again until we hit the very peak price of Bitcoin.

I think the main logic behind this has been a lacking one but understandable one. Of course they are wrong, but it is at least known why they are wrong. The main reason why they say this is the fact that there are not many sell orders between 60k and 100k, which means there is no resistance neither, in a very wonderful world it will stay like that and when we reach 60k there will still be no sellers and buyers will just take the price from 60k to 100k without any problems at all.

However we all know reality is not Like that, we do not have sellers all that much there because the price is far away, when we get there the sellers will show up. Hence why I think it is quite obvious that they are very wrong, but I also do understand why they are wrong as well, it is not some illogical argument, its just not knowing what happens when the price increases a lot.

Many already sell their holdings when the price reach it's ATH recently but now that the companies were engaging in crypto and many known or institutional companies is into it reaching more ATH these year is really possible since more companies might explore BTC too, as the economy struggle, bitcoin is pumping since many finds other ways to shift their investment in a much active platform.

There are lots of people that are which have been holding bitcoin and they have been happy as price of bitcoin rise to $40k why some set of people are regretting because they did not buy when the price was still very low.
Currently price of bitcoin is dropping which people are thinking is a sign of dump already which is completely wrong drop in bitcoin price is just a correction which is normal and healthy for bitcoin, after the correct bitcoin is going to pump hard which am expecting bitcoin at $100k in the nearest future. Lot's of people have been complaining about the massive pump in bitcoin price which hit all time high, people think there will definitely be dump but I believe bitcoin price is still very low which in the next few months you won't see bitcoin at the current price. So if you are the type that is interested in buying bitcoin and probably you are scared that the price is too high and you are waiting for dump before buying I don't think that will be possible the only thing I know is possible for now is correction which is normal and healthy before the next pump which might be around $50k before the another correction then we should be expecting another pump. So this is the right time to Buy and hold bitcoin to avoid regretting not buying in the nearest future or if you sold yours already this is the perfect time to enter again.

Only Bitcoin and Ethereum are worth buying and hodling for me and yes, you can include Litecoin but not too much. Bitcoin could hit $100k or even more this year coz' We even hit a new ATH for both BTC (https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT) and ETH (https://trade.kucoin.com/ETH-BTC) almost every month and I would like to see both hit another ATH for the following months 'til it becomes $100k and $10k for ETH.

Bitcoin safe point according to predictions when it costs $ 70k to get to the higher position of $ 100k. but if bitcoin can hit $ 60k that's part of the sign bitcoin is going to go higher and that's for sure. only time can not be determined when the increase will occur

There is no way you can predict them. Today, I thought that bitcoin would reach 45K because it crossed 44K barrier but it went down. Logically, since it went up to 44K, people should hope for further rise and their actions should cause this but what happened is following: People started panic selling in low price because they thought: Oh, 44K is high, let's make some profit. I believe we will reach 45K soon but it needs some time, it doesn't happen automatically after reaching certain level. And if it reaches 60K, it doesn't mean that people's mindset will change and 100K will be guaranteed (or even higher). People sell when they make a good profit.

I also did a little research on the BTC price account and there is a high probability that 2021 will be a year of growth and the BTC price can reach $ 100,000 or more. As far as altcoins go, I also bet on ETH and LTC. Litecoin hasn't shown its main growth yet and is probably looking very attractive for investments right now. I have already bought LTC and I expect its rapid growth very soon. In any case, all of us right now need to be as focused as possible on what is happening in the crypto market in order not to miss the opportunity to make money.

Bitcoin price is not dropping right now in fact we have broke over the ATH price once again and anyone who didn't kept their bitcoins are living in a very sad world right now, and anyone who kept their bitcoins must be feeling awesome right now considering how much it increased.

Think about it this way, when the price was around at 29k there were a lot of people who talked about how we could reach under 20k price and the crash was coming, they were all afraid of price going even under 10k as well, what happened? Bitcoin reached 50% higher under 1 month, that is 50% profit in less than 1 month. That is the kind of power bitcoin has and thats how high it can reach very quickly. Obviously tesla buying 1.5 billion dollars worth of bitcoin definitely played a big role in this and nobody could have seen it coming, but that is definitely a thing that can happen in bitcoin world.

Bitcoin safe point according to predictions when it costs $ 70k to get to the higher position of $ 100k. but if bitcoin can hit $ 60k that's part of the sign bitcoin is going to go higher and that's for sure. only time can not be determined when the increase will occur
Target first the $50k and then we'll go closely to $60k and that's going to be easy for bitcoin. Right now, $44k and it might hit $50k any time soon once there's another institution that buys a lot of bitcoin. It's a different thing because it's Tesla but if there's another financial or popular company that announces their purchase, the market will react as usual and would FOMO which can trigger the price to go as high as those prices that we're discussing.

Even if the $60,000 will be attained sooner or later we must first think of the price of Bitcoin to reach the $50,000 mark price before even thinking of the higher price than that. Also, if ever those prices will be attained, still there is no assurance that the price of Bitcoin can get that fast and easy for the predicted and expected price of many which is the $100k mark. It will still be a long run before such thing can happen. I have no doubt on that but still we must limit our expectations into the present and realistic future based on what we can just see. Imagination and expectation are real difficult ones to be meet and attained so better if we will just wait and see for it to happen in front of us.

People do really love to exaggerate things up when they do saw that the market is climbing up and believing that reaching 100k is near up into their reach without even
tending to look back on how long we've been waiting for breaking that previous ATH which is 20k.Good thing that adoption news and events did happen
along the way which really drives the market even way more higher.

The question or talks about 100k then lets just consider first on how we gonna break that 50k point because we've been testing out to break this resistance.
and we don't know on when we would able to succeed but of course don't remove the thing that correction can happen anytime.

This is true that $100k will still be a long way to go but if you were to apply it way back in 2012, no one expected its price to skyrocket above the $20,000 range.

The key here is to HODL for long-term. I learned this the hard way because upon checking the total number of my received bitcoins (from campaign signature earnings since 2018) it amounted to around $18,000 at its current market value. Imagine, if people were to HODL this year (2021) then what would its price maybe 4-5 years from now? Expect it to at least (maybe?) double its price in the very near future.

Well, you have a point here, bitcoin has always created a new ATH every four years, --before I don't expect that bitcoin will double the price as a previous ATH. I thought that is enough if bitcoin will surpass the previous ATH but now it doubled the price. There is no way to predict the market price and it will always be making as a surprise when bitcoin pumped too much in the market. Indeed, that is a good decision, [HODL] your bitcoin at least even 5 years long, you will see your profit perhaps folds how many times.

Everything is possible when it comes to BTC. It always surprises it HODLERS with un imaginable price movements. One year ago we couldn't predict that it will surpass 48K in just 12 months but it did. The current BTC chart on weekly time frame reflects strong uptrend of BTC and it might go beyond 100K during 2021.

No, It will not happen immediately. Bitcoin will topped out near 62,000$ and then we may retracement back to 50k. I would suggest people not to fomo for 100,000$.  Bitcoin will achieve this target but it may take few months.

It's possible from how the 49k is about to break 50k mark right now but I would still expect a lot of correction before that happens so there's that.
Many tokens are surely for the sell, because many would probably convert their tokens to BTC once that breach happens but hey we still don't know what's going on in each investor's minds.

If that will ever happen, It won't be the work of famous figures in the industry but rather because of the institutional investors slowly getting their investments right with Bitcoin. After the Tesla news, I believe that it attracted a lot of institutions to do the same and I believe that's going to be a big jump for Bitcoin. Bank of NY Mellon last week even said it formed a new unit to help clients own and trade digital assets.

I have been watching BTC on KuCoin (https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT) and I've seen it hit the ATH just recently, Bitcoin was consolidating under the $38,000 resistance area for a prolonged period. This presented a risk to the short-term bull cycle of Bitcoin. Resistance is quite strong on $49900 though so I advise everyone to be really careful trading.

Im hoping that Bitcoin will be over $100,000 for this year, it keeps on growing and growing as more institutions are coming in and investing on it which means that it will make price pump even more. We just need to hope that the bubble wont snap just like what happened years ago, or else all of us specially big companies will be doomed in an instant even tho we can just hodl and wait for the pump again for years.

In my Binance pop-up notification, it says that Bitcoin is just $50 shy of reaching $50k. Wow that was close! I certainly believe that when it is gonna reach $60k, the bullish momentum would really go even further and the possibility to reach $100k per BTC. I can see that coming, possibly this year but no promises.

in my prediction btc will increase to $ 70k and then it will continue its bearishness for years. because too many people are taking profit of the current bull market. we can buy it back when the price has fallen too deep.

Maybe not this year, but in the few years to come.
As more and more companies are going into crypto, and more merchants integrating crypto in their payment system, it is no doubt that we will increase crypto adoption.
And with the increase in adoption comes the demand in the market, which will eventually, affect its price.
But right now, plan conservatively, so you will not be disappointed if it will not happen within your targets.

It may be the next prediction in the bitcoin price. Over a long time, the price of bitcoin was predicted to the value of 20,000$.But now it had crossed that and in additional it reach the value of  40,000$.Now the prediction was up to the next level of 60k$.But their is no wonder on this. And I don't think it will reach 100k$ in a period of two years.

yeah i thought so too, 100k might be the target in the next bulls. and the next bull market will not be there before the bears occur. So it won't happen in this immediate future. maybe during the next halving or when bitcoin has reached the max supply. I was more worried about the impact it would have if this target came true. Bitcoin dominance will certainly get stronger and altcoins will be under heavy pressure in the future.

Of course that would be the next target because Bitcoin designed and being used as the value increases ( well as long as it is Mineable ) i don't know what will happen after all the Bitcoin was mined since i'm sure even the next generation from me won't witnessed that time.

But the thing is how long we will wait for the 100k to be reached because we already Hit 50k last night and continues to come and back today but cannot seems to stay long time.

oh no it looks like this prediction of yours is a failure because theres many altcoins that arent in the top 5 spot and also have a billion cap/supply but still manage to pump and achieve thier new all time highs and one that is memorable of them all is the doge coin  .  eth didnt also drop but it did rise but its funny that its transaction fee are also pumping lol  .

I do believe that there is a chance we could probably lose a lot of money with this if we keep it up, obviously bitcoin is looking strong but there are tons of people who are doing things that are very risky just because bitcoin has been decent for the past few months. I get that bitcoin did a whole 5x and even 10x if you think about last march, but that doesn't mean that it should be doing that again. If we move above 60k we would be still quite high and doing another 40k+ on top of that would be very risky.

I am not saying it can never be 100k, in fact I believe it will 100k one day or another for sure, all I am saying is that we should be careful. What can you do? Have a relaxed stop loss, price is at 60k? Put a stop loss at 40k and you will be at least a bit more ready for a drop if it happens.

That's reality, there are  many institutional investors who are now inside this market. With huge amount of money that they can play and invest around, that dream are now starting to fulfill.

Almost in $50K level now and the market still showing green sign, this bull is continuing and it's been there with pressures that it will be move more upwards, we can't really assume the exact time frame but the possibilities that it will reach $100K is no longer far from reality it's just a matter of time and additional newcomers who will also invest decent amount of money.

With more known names from financial market, Bitcoin will gain more exposures, it's not hard now since social medias can
reached more audiences more interest will flows with some good hypes coming from influencial names from the business sectors.

i don't think so, the price of any coin or token cant be predicted. but there are also many lately whose views remain on technical analysis, but, basically it depends on the fundamentals of the coin, one of which is bitcoin. when Tesla invested in a sizeable amount of bitcoin, it had a huge impact on the current price of bitcoin.

It will definitely surpass the 60k if we consider the supply and demand even without looking at the chart but using the data we have now in bitcoin which supply on exchanges are getting low everyday as the demand are also increasing everyday it will be the most scarce and in demand asset in the future, I think its still too early to accumulate even at 60k if the target will be a million dollar in the next few years.

Sooner or later, bitcoin will surpass the $60k and the price now is at $50k. It could happen this year, and we still have many months before this year's end, so the chances for bitcoin price to go to the next high price still wide open. But before the price goes to that price, we will see many times for the correction that can happen, so we need to prepare for the rollercoaster, but we have the chance to buy back Bitcoin at a low price. If the price can surpass $60k, then the next target price will be at $75k, which is not easy to reach, and if the price can reach $60k in this month or next month, it could attract many big companies to join in the bitcoin world.

The holding tendency and driving force for drag friction are enormous from large institutional investors. Bitcoin's competition for value will not stop. The next surprise is Motley Fool - a rich guy went into bitcoin and waited for the price of 500k $. Probably overwhelming but we'd be nice to have 80k - 100k $. If bitcoin creates a huge opportunity as a "core stock" for any corporation or organization to aim for. Bitcoin is the fascinating thing right now.

I think $ 50000 was the psychological limit for Bitcoin and we crossed that line. After that, the 51-52 thousand dollar thresholds were quickly exceeded. Good chart in Bitcoin also increases investment in altcoins. With good news, the bull market may continue for a while.

Still curious about why 60k and not 50k,,, it doesn't make much sense to me in a logic perspective because 50k is a lot more psychologically stable than 60k. Or is it because 100k means 50k has to go up 100% while for 60k it's just a 66% increase?

It's just about $8000 away from that price. Bitcoin set at $52000 and that's very near to the $60k level. Holding on is the best thing to do although we don't know how long it needs to get to that price. As long as you hold it, just wait until you witness $60000.

No matter what the prediction number is it's still a prediction/speculation price anyone can say what price they wanted to say. Maybe OP have seen it going to happen and look at the price now? It's almost near to break that $60k resistance soon all we have to do is wait if any large institutional investors will going to join the parade. And most top altcoins will follow through especially those OP mentioned like ETH and LTC.

If the price goes up too fast, that won't be good. 60 thousand dollars is a good target in the short term, but I think it is better to wait a couple of weeks and stay at these prices rather than within a few days :)

it is likely, bitcoin touches $ 60k the jump to $ 100k will be easier to achieve and later the price of all altcoins will soar up. I hope something like that can happen in the near future and might be one of the good things for cryptocurrency

It could happen to surpass $60k since currently price is increasing. We have observe price reach above $52k so a huge chance to reach its price. Anytime it can happen just like the previous all time high many users surprise the swing movement of bitcoin.

The price of Bitcoin is still growing and it will be continuing. So we are not far away from $60k and I think bitcoin will hit $60k very soon. We should wait some days to see this moment.

If the price goes up too fast, that won't be good. 60 thousand dollars is a good target in the short term, but I think it is better to wait a couple of weeks and stay at these prices rather than within a few days :)
Bitcoin is taking firm steps this time, we are in the middle of the bull season
I am worried about when the situation changes and the price will go down too fast and smash us without mercy. We already see what was happening in 2018-2019 when the bitcoin price rose so high, and then the next hours, the price jump to the lowest price without we know. This situation makes us really careful because if the price is down, the downtrend will be lower. I just do not expect the very deepest drop. But I still have a hope that the price will still increase this year.

I think $ 50000 was the psychological limit for Bitcoin and we crossed that line. After that, the 51-52 thousand dollar thresholds were quickly exceeded. Good chart in Bitcoin also increases investment in altcoins. With good news, the bull market may continue for a while.
That is how the markets work, at first it may seem as if the 50k level is not special at all, after all what is so different about 50k? But the main importance of that level is that for the first time ever the journey to reach 100k is less than halfway there and when we take this into account it is natural that as soon as we surpassed that level the price went up significantly, now the price did not skyrocket as much as we thought it could but if things continue in the current direction reaching 100k will just be a matter of time and most likely we will see that level before the year ends.

$100k will take few months to achieve its not that easy a lot of investors are going to sell and for sure price will have big correction when this happened weak hands will again sell in this level thinking that its the top to avoid big losses and then after the dump this can go sideways again collecting more liquidity to move upward its more likely to take 2-3 months from here before we can reach the thousand dollar level if the bulls continue to dominate the market.

but i'm also hoping as you guys are, let's hope the price of BTC keep increasing and maintain its position as the best cryptocurrencies.

The correction to the Bitcoin price that is happening now is actually very good,  this is a sign that in the near future Bitcoin will soon pass
the price of $ 60k. If this is true the Bitcoin price has finally crossed $ 60k, I agree very quickly that Bitcoin price could hit $ 100k soon this year.
This is just my prediction, considering the Bitcoin price increase was also very fast when it crossed the $ 40k price and continued up to the price of $ 58k.

Still curious about why 60k and not 50k,,, it doesn't make much sense to me in a logic perspective because 50k is a lot more psychologically stable than 60k. Or is it because 100k means 50k has to go up 100% while for 60k it's just a 66% increase?

Keep buying. We'll see 55k on the weekend for sure!
Of course it is just a prediction and also a bit of speculation, speculation requires a bit more indirect action request as well so we can't really call it speculation, but it is definitely a prediction and an assumption. Nobody in the entire world knows what any crypto will do in the future, nobody knows what any financial asset would do neither, even the most guaranteed stuff like house prices could crash at anytime and we know it. That is why I think it is quite obvious that we are in a situation where people are just making up assumptions and they are sometimes right and they are sometimes wrong.

Bull people who always expects bitcoin to go up have been right for the past 8-9 months and that is quite important, when you are right for that much time and you have made that much profit during that kind of period, it is obvious that you are going to believe in your predictions more than usual.

We should as well be cautious when predicting price, when aiming high, there should also be a room for correction, that's exactly what happened to bitcoin and your target as you didn't put other factors in consideration.
As OP has said that if btc could break $60k, the next psychological resistance traders and investors would be looking up to will be $100k just the way we are currently trying flip $50k into a support but I think it's difficult for now but it's achievable.
There are rumours some institutions locking some thousands of btc yesterday including twitter CEO. If we continue to consolidate around this range of $48k and the sell pressure( red) on MACD in daily time frame becomes buy pressure( green) , then we have more room for upwards.

We have to start pumping again to make this happen, and we just heard about the good new coming from the big investors so it can trigger the bull trend again and start aiming for a peak price. Seriously, with Bitcoin everything is possible and Its hard to say that it can’t happen this year, but there’s a good chance for $100k soon so let’s wait for that moment to come.

Whether we reach a price higher than that will depend on external factors that have nothing to do with bitcoin, the economy is supposed to recover this year and while the stock market has recovered I still see a lot of people that lost their jobs and many businesses that never reopened their doors, so the economy will not recover as much as governments believe which will lead them to print more money and this in return will make the price of bitcoin to increase even more.

Bitcoin prices Cross now to an All-time how of 52k USD and I think its price still grow to 60k.
wrong because BTC did not even cross 59,000$ ,and only get the highest value to 58,000$ and starts the fall and now staying at 47,000- 51,000 the most.
Quote
It sure has an effect on some big companies again announcing that they are investing in BTC
While those have invested , others are now selling so the effect will be looks like correction, I know this is normal and now we are on waiting time if what will comes next .. Either to go climb back or the value drops down .

We have plenty of time for this year of 2021 ,  as we are only starting for first quarte Boom.

Bull runs have a tendency to go way higher than what people expect, also how long do you think this bull run can continue? We could say this bull run began after the crash we saw in March so we are just a few days away for the price of bitcoin being a full year in a bull run, for that price to be reached until the next year we will need a bull run that lasts for almost two years and that is difficult to achieve, so the price of 100k will most likely have to be reached during this year if we are going to see it anytime soon.

I agree,  corrections are always a proof that price of that coin will go up super high, we are going to see other coins to go up as well, it is going to be really awesome for that reason because if you own other coins they will probably go up as well. Bitcoin always has a big correction before making a huge return, but it may not be right away, I do not expect 60k+ this week, maybe by the start of next month (very early march) we could see it go beyond 60k, last time we had a correction like this, it took us about a week to ten days in order to recover, that is probably what is going to happen.

However no matter how long it takes, it is a proof that corrections are a great thing because it allows the price to go up, it allows people to recover from the drop and goes up super high during that period, people who are not scared are the ones that make the most money.

Whether and when the Bitcoin price exceeds $60k does not matter if the Bitcoin price ever reaches the $100k level. Each resistance is crossed under different circumstances and with different market sentiment. After crossing $60k, the price of Bitcoin may well go up to $100k or fall down and cause another long bear market.

I don't think btc can ever fall so low as that of 2018, that time had long gone, yes we will see many corrections but nothing will be as serious as previous reason because btc and crypto have gain more exposure, giant companies are not part of the crypto and btc ecosystem unlike before,
The btc will hit 60k is uncertain, could be soon or much later,  but one thing is for sure, btc will hit that target and even higher.

BTC always follows its Historical trend, and it falls 30/40 % from its its All time high before going up again. This theory has been proved correct again and again. The recent ATH was 58K and it came down to 43K during the current week. Correction is a part of any trading asset and it is healthy for the Market and we should not get upset when it happens.
I am sure BTC will hit 100K and beyond but not in one go in steps.

With the spice of the recent good news, bull run has run longer than 2017 and we hit a new ATH peak at $ 58k.  The scarcity and stagnation of the central bank that has led to widespread inflation has shown how much bitcoin is likely to change in the face of that situation.  A new ecosystem capable of opening up to the world after the 19 covid disaster has demonstrated just how important bitcoin is.  Bitcoin has achieved a "net worth of 1000 billion" equivalent to Amazon, It will increase even more.  and $ 110k will result for this year.  I'm so excited about the special situation this year! Wrong, we just started this bull run, so it didn't run longer that 2017, they still follow the same pattern. That's why if you look at the historical graphs, the potential to hit $100k is there based on 2017 run. I would agree that the narrative has change a lot since the covid-19, bitcoin becoming an hedge so we do hope that a six digit figure is on the way this year, just be a holder and everything will fit perfectly at the end of the year.

I think breaking the $ 100K this year is not easy. figure 60K-70K $ Relevant to be seen as the next high point of bitcoin. If the previous resistance is broken it will be the all-time high of bitcoin. current circulation as well as the number of people who hold on to that number makes prices rise again, low of 43K $ Cannot be crossed yet
I think the resistance level of $ 60000 will soon be broken when you can look at the sentiment of the market, the sentiment of big investors, their greed is very high, Bitcoin's price right now doesn't make them happy, they want more, want bitcoin's value to be pumped further and bitcoin will inevitably follow the crowd, whales will drive bitcoin in that direction. For further resistance levels like 100k$, I do not feel optimistic about this prediction as the capitalization is still not enough to pump, markets like gold and equities are preparing to recover, the capitalization is likely to split in many parts

This could be possible as long as bull holds it momentum. Now after a short term correction BTC price break $50k and aiming at $60k in near future. These smaller correction help the bitcoin to regain momentum and price hike. $100k is also possible but we might see this price in mid to late 2022.

We should wait until bitcoin will able to break its ath and that makes sense for us to talk about the next pit stop for bitcoin.
The resistance around 54k is not yet broken and that means it's too early to talk about that dude. Bitcoin is able surpassing 50k resistance again and that brings the possibility for bitcoin to be able touch another ATH again. Bitcoin is starting to build another support. The market for bitcoin is still very bullish at this moment dude.

At this point a new all time high seems inevitable, people were afraid that things could go wrong when see saw a big correction but now after a week the price is once again above 50k, the buying pressure is not diminishing and there is very little reason to expect this to be the case when there are many companies that are interested in buying bitcoin and adding it to their portfolios, and if enough companies do this then even reaching 100k during this year could be relatively easy.

I'm not sure which 2018 price level you are thinking of. Whether the price drops so low will depend on the duration of the bear market that will come sooner or later. If the next bear market lasts as long or longer than the last one (which is very likely), the price may undoubtedly drop to the level from 2018.

I do not believe that prices will fall like in 2018 because the corrections that should have been made at the beginning of that year did not happen instead, they actually increased and even reached every day with renewable ATH. the correction period seems to have passed and the current decline is only to reinforce the jump higher.

It should be remembered that last year's increase was the influence of @elonmusk buying bitcoin through the Tesla company which resulted in of all companies and brokers doing the same. but the impact of this year's Halving has not yet been seen and will happen. remember there is still a long time for the Halving effect that could happen at the end of the year.

I'm not saying bear market starts now. What the next bear market will be depends on how high the Bitcoin price jumps. If it stops below $100k, then there may be a slight bear market. However, if a new ATH is formed above $200k, the price drop will be very sharp and we will probably be watching the red charts for the next 2 years after such a large market collapse, which could cause a return to the 2018 price.

Even such thing is very unlikely, a price below 5 figures is gone for good, bitcoin has the tendency that once there is a bull market the new low is still above the previous ATH that was broken during that bull run, this means that I do not really expect the price to fall below 20k ever again, and there are many reasons to think this is accurate, institutional investors have stronger hands than what we saw in the past which means we are going to have less panic sellers which will reduce the size of any crash we may experiment when the bull run is over.

It may happen in less than three years and you will see massive adoption will be happening with bitcoin and altcoin soon. There are lots of traders are stlll believe if we are not yet reaching the end of the bullish trend.

For now, is just really hope that the value of BTC stable.
It seems like bitcoin is quite stable now but it's steadily growing too. We can just hope there will be a good news to come soon.
Crypto needs a really big news to create FOMO again.

Bitcoin price is currently very stable at $ 45k - $ 50k, so I agree that in the near future the Bitcoin price if makes it past the $ 60k price.
So Bitcoin will continue the bull run up to $ 100k, and the good thing is Bitcoin hitting the $ 100k target is very likely to be achieved this year.
Moreover, seeing more and more institutions investing in Bitcoin today, it should make Bitcoin even more desirable. This will make the price of
Bitcoin continue to rise. So who already owns Bitcoin now, don't be in a hurry to sell the Bitcoin that we have. Because if it is true that the Bitcoin
price reaches $ 100k, it will definitely give huge profits to Bitcoin holders.

You said that institutions are investing heavily in bitcoin but at the moment the value of bitcoin just starting to go sideways, this is a clear contradiction, good news but in return, the value is not increasing, sometimes even very sudden price drops. Even though the support level is still relatively strong in the price range you said but given this general situation, new prices cannot be broken in a short time, besides, bitcoin has risen too much, psychology of people are tending to take more profits, instead of continuing to be patient

We might see some investors from the end of 2020 deciding to cash out as the first quarter of 2021 draws to a close.  It could just be a dip in the markets as has happened this last week when BTC went below $50,000 for a few days, or, it could drive the price down $15,000 (or more) if investors are rattled by the sell-off.

I also think it will surpass $60000, however the current problem has had a lot of changes, the market is not as new to as many people as it was in its early stages. And now we see new investors, they are all large financial institutions that shows the attractiveness of the market and the possibilities that blockchain technology brings. I believe the bitcoin story in 2021 will not end at less than $100,000.

In the event that we can make another pinnacle this Month, I'm certain that we can arrive at the degree of $60k in a brief timeframe. We need to screen Bitcoin intently as it gets more unpredictable in the coming days. To be practical also is better remaining with the cost and I accept bitcoin is yet to have an amendment before this colossal value expectation can fire up.

Going sideways and companies going into crypto are not contradicatory, why? Because these companies do not make moves every single day, and when they do that you hear about it, that is why they may not be doing it right now, this exact moment, but have we seen microstrategy buy over a billion dollars worth of bitcoin? Yes, we have, have we seen grayscale buy bitcoin? Yes we have, what about tesla? Microsoft? All those other ones?

We have seen many companies buy bitcoin and that is why I think it is quite obvious that we are in a good situation right now from companies buying but they are not doing it every single day. So, right now we could be going sideways because they are not buying this exact moment, but that doesn't change the fact that they already bought a lot, and they will buy a lot in the future as well, that will make it go upwards instead of sideways when it happens.

That is a dream for now and never expect too much for not to fail more.

The chances of this happening will depend on what governments will do from now on, things are slowly going back to normal thanks to the vaccines but the economic situation of the world is still dire, if governments keep printing money as they have done during the last months then I will not be surprised if the 60k level was broken in just a few weeks as investors all over the world finally come to the realization the economy of the world cannot be sustained if governments do not change their monetary policies.

We are near of $60k and hopefully within couple of days bitcoin will cross the milestone of $60k. I think bitcoin will touch $100k at the end of this year. For this, we should avoid panic sell and hold for long term.

It's possible but catching up to 100k won't be accomplished fast enough it will at least take more years. Indeed, bitcoin price is close to hitting 60k but that doesn't mean it will continue moving upwards, as at least there will be resistance to a major correction which could happen anytime before hitting the target. I agree about the movement of the altcoins you say, because when the price of bitcoin continues to be pumped higher it has been proven that only certain altcoins are able to go with the flow. But unfortunately, this positive movement occurs evenly and we have to consider this more, of course, so that our investments do not get stuck and to avoid losses.

Bitcoin seems to be in a parabolic move, but I don't think that it'll be so easy for BTC to break $100k. The resistance near $50k is still holding hard and BTC retests it again and again while even gets under it many times. I believe that $63k is the max we may see BTC at during this year and it'll remain under $40k till next year after which it'll push back hard and break the $100k area.

Like what everyone is believing to happen. Bitcoin is believed to reach $100k for this year and that's really plausible and might happen. It's different than 2017 and 2018 today.
We have 2021 as the new good sign of bull run and this might end up on that price before it actually ends the bull run cycle.
For this, we should avoid panic sell and hold for long term.
Well, many just did from $20k-$50k.

honestly speaking I would love to see it too, but at the same time it makes me feel scared. expecting the price to go beyond 100,000$ but in the next day after waking up seeing the price goes down for 50%. it is very unpredictable at this moment, everything can happen.
but I still believe we are going to pass 60,000$ before we are going to see the down.

The way you look at this parabolic move to make a crossover above $100k and even $300k as can be seen in the chart, the same way inversely I'm seeing something happening soon. Even if it breaks $60k, I believe there's one more cycle for downside left where BTC will definitely be under $35k if it doesn't continue going up and rather comes down and a new cup formation takes place where BTC will slowly recover back up and then it'll cross $100k.

This wont be a smooth sail ride on where most people been anticipating about reaching the target of 100k for this year.I do also believe that there would be some other deep correction

but wont really be going below in 30k price and if it does then that would be the most deepest or bottom price for this market considering that there are really lots of strong supports

or buy out lines with those levels which its hard to believe that we would really be crashing even more beyond that one.Im not stressing out myself first on reaching 100k.Just cherish out these moving waves

If Bitcoin  hit 60k dollars it is really possible to reach $100k this is my highest price for the Bitcoin and I want to hit that this year.
$56k now is really nice to see and we still need 4k dollars to reach that price 60k dollars. Those investors who invest to the Bitcoin when price is $1 they will get 100k times of their capital and that is very high percentage of profit that will gives you a good life.

Well i guess predicting that Bitcoin might have a market value of $60000 wouldn't impossible to happen since we are now dealing with a current market value of $54000. But thinking about hitting as higher than $100000 i couldn't figure it out yet though i believe that bitcoin is unpredictable, it is volatile but i guess this value was higher enough to predict at the moment, maybe it could happen after 5 months or a year or maybe end of this year if the demand of bitcoin didn't change.

- I don't think your dream can be fulfilled this year because today, the value of bitcoin has actually exceeded $60k as you wish but then, a price reaction started to appear, the market seemed to reject higher prices from bitcoin, bitcoin had a slight decrease, it is not so significant and things are still recovering but overall, going up the higher ladder, bitcoin will be challenged more. Besides, with the presence of Elon Musk and the influence of the crypto market, governments of countries will probably watch bitcoin more and limit overvaluation.

Of course, with a higher price, subsequent increases become more difficult. However, for several months we have seen that we have a bull run, the fact that people like Elon Musk invest in Bitcoin means that many companies and people are just beginning to learn about it. HYPE will continue for many more months, so in my opinion Bitcoin has time to expand market and the price to reach $100k later this year.

if before the end of this year there is a correction, then we can forget that this year's pump will reach the target discussed.
if the market is consistent like this, it might move on to the momentum of the altcoins. A stable bitcoin will bring some altcoins the moment to pump up.
I hope the bulls of this year will survive and become the longest bull season in the history of the crypto market.

The whole idea is that, if we can reach 60k, that means dump is not coming anytime soon, thats at least what we believe, there are some other people like me who believe on this possibility as well. At the end of the day, we are not looking into anything that would hurt bitcoin because we think that these billions of dollars going into bitcoin means that we are not dropping under a level. We just had a 30% drop and even with that nothing happened to us, why? Because we have the help of huge companies constantly buying bitcoin, most people do not even realize how much of it is actually stored aside.

Last I have heard was over 6 million was stored aside, and a bit more than a million was totally lost. That should tell you how much we have a problem with, it is really a huge number, we are already nearly done in mining, just after a bit over 10 years, which means that we have very little left in the market hence why the price goes up constantly.

There is one thing that I have not seen many people pay attention to, for this market to plunge is extremely difficult, since so many large organizations openly invest in bitcoin or crypto. I am envisioning the size of this market being so large that the whales can discharge all their things, so as confidence increases, we have more assurance, into $ 100k altogether. can happen.

Being invested in bitcoin has never been a smooth ride, however that is not the reason why we're here, anyone that wants a smooth ride should probably get out of the market and instead invest in bonds or something like that, this market is for the ones that are willing to take risks and that can accept that their investment can move relatively quickly in either direction but that over the long term due to the scarcity of bitcoin it has a very strong tendency to go up.

So far, we see that today the price of bitcoin has dropped from more than $ 60,000 to the current less than $ 56,000. However, for him, such high price volatility is within the normal range. Tomorrow it may rise more than $ 60,000 again.
So far, the general price trend is not bad, but in our world, the attitude of governments towards bitcoin and cryptocurrency is generally quite contradictory, and therefore the situation may still change.

BTC is a digital Gold and very precious asset,  it can even hit 1 Million$, i won't be surprised , because it is anti inflationary asset. Its demand will increase in coming months and years but its supply will decline.
