Yes , a good idea is to research bitcoin on your own. That way you will understand what is all involved.
One of the most important things is not to invest more money than you can afford to loose . And that goes for every investment in this world .

When you make you first buy , don't spend more than $100 .

Read everything on here ,and look for articles on google .

If you are depending on others to get you started ,you wont know what to do without their help .

You probably will sign up with a bit coin exchange , before selecting one , google it's name ,and read the reviews .

Good luck kid ! There have been tons of money made and lost with bit coin..

Your luck is the same as anyone else on here .

Oh , last don't buy or sell because of what your read on any forum, no one knows what bit coin is going to do in even the next day.

I start learning my technical analysis first and other trading related stuff that that can be found on the internet and remember that you don't need to pay a heck of a lot of money just to learn these stuff. Some of my favorite resources are here. You can also try to visit the Speculation  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0)board to give you a general idea on how T.A works.

I think if you want to start trading in bitcoin at this time and the price is high at this time I suggest waiting for the price of bitcoin to go down, and I suggest buying it at a price of $ 30k because if bitcoin goes down it won't be below $ 30k but if you want to buy it now This is also OK as long as it is invested long term.

It’s really nice that as a young boy you’re interested in investing your money in places where it will be useful to you in future. If you’re serious and invest your money for long term in Bitcoin, by the time you finish college you’re going to have a huge amount in your wallet where you’re holding it, because from now to then, the price of Bitcoin must have reached a really high point by then.

My only tips is that you should invest in what you can risk and don’t be greedy, after investing, try to focus on other areas of your life like your studies while you wait for Bitcoin to increase.

The first tip is the truth associated with cryptocurrencies in general, and that is the truth you must know before every other one, and that is, there are risks associated with cryptocurrencies and you must be ready for it, secondly bear in mind that crypto market is highly volatile, and thirdly, invest what you can afford to lose. With that being said, in order to buy Bitcoin first you will need to know about the regulation in your country and the exchange which is supported, now assuming an exchange like Binance is supported in your country, you can get started by registering an account, verify it if possible and buy with your credit card. You can also buy from someone, maybe a friend who will then send to your personal wallet. On the other hand, if you want to become a trader, then you will need to go further by learning all about trading. Most important, be careful of scammers who will propose attractive websites, platforms or Ponzi schemes to you and if faced with tough decisions, come here and ask your questions.

you come across the right act, where you ask in the right forum too. for that I only suggest that you, at least before plunging into real trading, maybe there is no harm in trying some Demo trading first, to hone your skills. I am sure, with a youthful spirit and spirit it will be very easily absorbed. you just have to do it diligently.

1. How did you start trading Bitcoin?

I didn't, I earned them. Never bought a single satoshi, though I have basic knowledge about trading, but I used to trade Bitcoin against other smaller cryptocurrencies.

2. How can you start trading Bitcoin?

To be honest, Bitcoin is not a cryptocurrency that can be traded on daily bases to get profit, but it is an asset that increases in worth in longer terms. People usually either buy Bitcoin and store them, or buy Bitcoin and trade it against other smaller cryptocurrencies in the market to earn profits regularly.
But, if you still want to do that, you can always buy with a small capital from any exchange that supports the payment system from your country, and then trade Bitcoin against USDT (A form of dollar in cryptocurrency, that is always stable).
The process of trading Bitcoin would be to buy now and sell it later when the price is higher and you are getting more than what you've spent.

3. Tips for begginers?

Don't invest everything you have. Always start with the minimum if you are not experienced.

Never panic sell. Don't read messages and news and sell your assets based on that. You never know what happens, and you will always be in loss if you do that. If Bitcoin drops $2,000 today then it can gain $4,000 tomorrow. The market is so unpredictable, so make sure not to fall into such things.

Be aware of scammers. Always use trusted services whether you are buying or selling, always do your research before doing that.

Good luck!  :)

Nearly 7 years ago, I have to understand what to do with my mined coins, so I started reading about exchanges and so on. Back then it was more common to use P2P trades using LocalBitcoins or face to face than the exchanges we know now.

I've started trading in small quantities, so the potential failure is negligible. Well, I'm still trading for small amounts, but at least I'm doing it more frequently now. I'm still not comfortable trading in high volume.

I am an affiliate seller over a period of time on different digital products. Recently I started working on Crypto affiliate programs (https://www.cryptonewstrading.com/the-best-crypto-affiliate-programs-for-2021/) and I am getting really good responses from it. Though I work on different crypto but the most favorite one is Bitcoin. It is really easy for me and I am doing it for no other reason than some extra bucks, for which I only shared a few links of my crypto affiliate programs within my circle or to my audience, and that’s it. It will directly add to my account. No hustle, nothing, just a few clicks and I get my referral money!

There is no so much answers in your question because that is a Basic , you are asking for Investment meaning you are ready to HOLD and RISK right ?

So what you need to do is Buy Bitcoin and Let it in your wallet , Buy in legit Exchange like this

https://www.binance.com/en

and Save them in your trusted wallet , but of course better to have your own Nano Ledger since you are a HighSchool and will keep this coins for long years i guess.

People trade to make revenue, and myself started trading to sell off the rewards. Initially I wasn't much into campaigns, and mostly I participate on bounties. Once after the payment is received I used to wait for months. For some bounties it has taken years to get listed on the exchanges. I used to wait until then, and further sell the tokens. In those days I never looked for profit, further slowly learnt about the process of trading to make profit.

But on the Binance exchange which is now number 1 among the others with very tight security even if something happens it will be returned back, meaning there is insurance when we hold for a long time in a trusted exchange, I only trust Binance and not other exchanges .

Starting a trade there is quite safe and we can see how the coins pump up, or we just focus on Bitcoin so we just need to hold on for longer.

There are some golden rules that you should remember while trading.
Rule number 1. Buy the dip (buy low , sell high )
Rule number 2. Buy the rumor, sell the news.
That's all for today's lesson :D

Of course you can do that, but you must first learn a lot about trading. I do not advise you to trade or invest any capital before you learn well because you may lose all of your capital, you can follow many sites and channels that teach trading and then try trading with a small capital at the beginning .
The most important advice in trading is patience and avoiding greed, greed and impatience are the worst traits of a trader that may cause him a lot of losses.

I firstly started trading on Bitstamp by depositing €150, and some Bitcoin I had back then. It was 2016 or 2017 if I remember correctly. Made careful options and grew both my fiat and my Bitcoin balance.

I'm still using the same exchange, without withdrawing any cash, but reinvesting any profit I make. Be extra careful on your investments, know how much you can afford to lose, when you can take a loss and more importantly, don't be greedy.

Trading don't require so much unique skills because there is not sure way to trading and when it comes to bitcoin trading there is no sure way it all has to do with risk taking, but I will advice you to start with the basic that is buy low and sell high. And as time goes on you can develop your skill more and adopt other techniques.

Welcome @tzutzik to the world of cryptocurrency, I am very happy if more and more people are planning to invest in Bitcoin. The first time
I started trading Bitcoin was probably 5 years ago, when I started trading on the Bittrex exchanges. I made my first deposit of $ 100. For
newbies I recommend trading on Binance exchanges for now, I also now trade Bitcoin more often on Binance exchange. Because it has complete
trading features, good support service and a sophisticated security system.

My advice for beginners is to start trading with a small capital, and use the money that you can afford to lose. If you can make 100% profit, can
increase the capital you use. And another important thing is to learn trading terms and how to analyze the market. If you can do it all, just waiting
for your time to become successful traders.

Trading on trends means taking a position that corresponds to the current trend. If there was a bullish trend in the market , you would go long, and if there was a bearish trend, you would go short, you'd think of closing your position and opening a new one to match the emerging trend if this trend began to slow or reverse.

I started trading Bitcoin when I joined different kinds of Alternate Cryptocurrency campaigns that allowed Newbies. I learned about the things that I can do within the Cryptocurrency Industry during joining that campaign and when I earned enough Alternate Cryptocurrencies, that is when I was allowed to trade them for Bitcoin. Its true that at first, earning Bitcoin would be hard but at least you are still earning even its not a lot.

My trading journey with Bitcoin started when I tagged along with my long term friends who have happened to be starting trading with Bitcoin already so I basically watch them so the trading proper and learn all the essential thing and information that I needed to learn about trading and of course knowing the currency I want to trade which is Bitcoin. At first it looks pretty weird for me learning this thing but as time goes on I find myself already getting familiar on how it is done starting from basics, learning how to interpret market price charts, learn to do technical analysis and so on and so forth. You do really need to start from the basics to learn at least a bit of knowledge about it before doing engagement.

Before trading in your bitcoin, you must first gain the right knowledge about trading. Because without the right knowledge you can lose your money in the new situation. You can take help of different types of groups and sites to learn about trading. So in my opinion it would be better to focus on learning about trading without investing in trading of bitcoin now.

I started trading bitcoin when I saw my friend posting some crypto gains on his social media account. That is where he introduced me ccex exchange. He taught me the basics of trading and the risk of losing from it. I started trading with a small amount until I made some gains, joined some groups to know what crypto is good to exchange. That time I found out that there are some pump and dump groups that exist to pump the price of a particular coin.  I learned a lesson from this to not listen to those signal, they will tell you to buy this then after some time they will dump their holdings leaving you at a loss.

The only thing I can advice is don't try to learn to trade if you're afraid of losing. Cryptos are very volatile so anything can happen anytime. Research well before buying, not all of them are good for long term and short term.

I am starting trading in bitcoin coincidentally. After I can get a nice amount of satoshi from the faucet back in the old-time, I think about how to change it into local fiat. So I search for a way to do that, and I found out that we need to sell it into fiat, and then we can send it into a bank account. I also found that we can sell our bitcoin to the sellers and find local sellers to help us convert into fiat.

The first thing you need to have is trading skills because that is the only way you can analyze the market and find the coin to trade and make a profit. You need to learn from many sources, and you should search for yourself because that will depend on how we can understand each lesson that we got. You need to remember to buy low and sell high, which is the basic thing in trading, but to do that way, you need to learn how to know when the low price comes. I am sure people can start trading easily, and they can also have a chance to profit in trading.

You do not a big capital for starting but you need to know how to reinvest the profit that you will get in investing and trading until it become bigger and bigger this is what we do most of here.

Why does he/she have to go through the stress of learning all that when he can simply invests his funds into bitcoin by buying them from exchange or via peer2peer from trusted individuals and store them in his wallet. We make the whole concept of profiting form bitcoin complicated and that's what drive a lot of newbies from joining the industry. Bitcoin isn't all about trading before you can become profitable in the industry.

From research it has been proven that the holders make more gains than the traders and obviously it can been seen if you spent some time doing your own personal research or experiment. With trading you risk getting rekted each time you enter the market. No matter how professional you become, there are days the trade won't just go your way but that's unlikely with investing provided you can have the patience to hold through your intended timeframe. There's highly possibility of bitcoin been higher than its current price in 5-10 years from now.

You could start with only small amount don't aim too high and only invest what you could afford and also take time to study the market don't let your emotion get you when you are trading.

I started knowing about cryptocurrency first before jumping into trading, I get interested in bitcoin since its the most popular cryptocurrency and the market value is just going up.

After that, I do my research trading, and other things like ICO in the past years, to get started trading you need to have a small capital or big capital if you cant but in my case, I joined signature campaigns to get altcoins and then sell them to have the capital to start trading it in the market.

The basic strategy was just buying low and selling high in the market just buy any cryptocurrency and then hold it until the market price increases and then sell it to gain profit, if your good at that already you could try trading with margin, or future.

It's quite a long process of learning for me. I started trading without any idea about it so I was eager to do my own research by reading articles and watching trading videos on Youtube. It was confusing at first but you have to trust the process. I studied all the trading terms and technical analysis as well as the possible movements of the coins that I'm investing with. It's better to start with just a small amount because it's critical in the beginning. Just trust your guts and have the eagerness to learn because aside from your funds, the best capital that you should have is knowledge.

I started trading through my own research and study. At first it was very difficult because I really don't know how to trade. So, I just give it a try like just playing using an old coin like dogecoin and litecoin. I try to put a buy and sell order in just a small amount as a practice. Of course I always lost but never give up and try again until I understand how trading works. I learn step by step and slowly through monitoring the price movement and the graph. In trading you can start even with small capital and if you have enough knowledge about it , you will surely grow your small capital to a bigger one.

everyone who first joins the cryptocurrency ecosystem must be quite confused. This is indeed a difficult journey, but don't worry, as long as you are disciplined in reading and don't hurry, you can adapt well to this ecosystem.

my first time to know bitcoin from friends and news on the internet. At first, I hesitated, I tried and then stopped, but then chose to focus when I needed more income for my life.

start with a lot of reading, you can search for some topics that you want to learn as a beginner https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0
make sure you understand the risks, do not easily believe investment offers from people you do not know, many scammers.

I was searching for a lot of information about which cryptocurrency is better to invest in, how to do it correctly, and stuff like this. But I made up my mind and it was the best decision!

I advise you to read more about what it is and how it works before you start trading. Because without this knowledge it'll be difficult for you to trade. If you're interested in it, then I can send a list of useful articles that once helped me.

I wish you good luck, buddy! ;)

I believe that a list of some useful articles would go a long way for someone who's starting trading or relatively new to trading in general. Still learning how to be more productive with my trades and how to generate extra profit.
I can recommend you to read articles by EXMO about trading. They're fresh and contain a lot of useful information. I've already told my friends about it and they really liked it. Personally, I liked the fact that they not only talked about what "trading" is, but gave good tips on how to trade correctly and make a profit from it.

I hope I was helpful :) :D

everyone who first joins the cryptocurrency ecosystem must be quite confused.

You should be sensible into your actions and don't let yourself on losing that common sense of yours if you are really eager to learn then you would
really need to do hard work on that not just on sitting and doing nothing for you to learn.

We do all start on being a newbie and doesn't able to grasp out everything in first experience but if we do just follow and make our assignment
then we would gradually on having a good grasp as years goes by.

Same goes for me that I do able to learn up trading when I do get curios and was amazed on my friends financial status where trading do
really plays a big role on that.

Although people may not like it, but what is more advisable is to read books, but not books on Technical Analysis, books on market speculators, such as Livermore, Wyckoff and others of that style, since in the academies they teach only AT and are expensive, plus AT you can learn for free in any social network, it is best to learn to understand the market so that you can risk your money.

^ I can't teach or give a tip if you do not understand the cryptocurrency market price especially BTC. You must learn first before doing trading, because trading need skills and strategies, if you don't have this, then, trading is not meant for you. My tips are these basic trading strategies that commonly use by others, those who want safe trading, buy low and sell high, this is a very common strategy but yet affected, you are in a safezone.

trading in cryptocurrencies is well known for its high volatility, of course this makes traders like this volatility,
but for beginners I am sure it will be difficult and make emotions uncontrollable, because flash dumps can also happen,
starting trading in bitcoin only requires mental strong and understand how to read the analysis correctly, and I am sure you will be ready.

The first time I trade BTC was around January, 2017. I just want to have btc then. I called a friend and I paid and he sent me the value of the total amount I sent to him in btc unit. I wanted to use gate.io but the site couldn't open. I have to open an account with Binance, and the btc was sent to my wallet right away. After few days of interacting with the site. I started learning how to go around the site. The first major trade I made was to convert my btc to usdt when I notice the price of BTC was going down. Since USDT is almost a stable coin with a fixed price. And theore the BTC was dumping, I buy back the BTC and that automatically increase the unit of my BTC. I do that over, and over again. Till I almost double the unit of the BTC I have then.

I started trading when I was bored to work under the pressure of others so I decided to find a source income that can help me stand to meet my daily life and I found tradinv crypto especially bitcoin.

At that time I see trading is very easy to do and I can make a lot of money from it, but it was wrong. Trading is not easy until whenever, you need a lot of money for your capital, your brain to think every strategy and also your time to learn.

Until now, I still trade bitcoin and yeah I have lost a lot of money comparing to I got money. But I understood it, everything will need a proccess and I'll never leave this field, I'll always stand to learn and I'll spend all of my time to learn how to trade well so as I can get money that I want.

Be sure to start trading bitcoin not in peak condition. My point is not to buy bitcoin when the price is already high. For beginners like you,
there are many lessons you need to understand about bitcoin. Before entering the trade, there is much to know about criptocurrency
terms that will confuse you. Always beware of many scammers in this crypto.

There is no exact level where we can consider it as a high price. A $10,000 before is a high price but now, it's now considered a cheap price.

A newbie can enter at any price they want as they don't need to purchase a whole Bitcoin to start.

For a trial, they can start with a small amount then do some analysis on the way. Price swing regularly happens, they can start testing their strategies there and not just by holding.

My debut in the crypto world is as a bounty hunter and I started my trading with Bitcoin was because I gt the reward from bounty rewards. yeah, this is true, I started fro zero balance or no deposit because I am not sure if I can make it for real income.
At first, just try to read as much information about crypto, Bitcoin especially, trading and everything that can make us support our knowledge.
IAnd trading is not something that is instant. Trading Bitcoin sometimes needs developing ways in order to know and fit the market condition right now.
If you are a newbie enough, you can start by learning the basics, being ready with the risks besides the profits, and also keep learning endless. Then, you may deposit a few balances to a certain exchange if you want to start Bitcoin. ANd in this case, you can start learning to trade Bitcoin with a small balance at first ANd ensure that you choose spot trading for beginners.

maybe what you experience is the same as my situation and usually almost everything starts from a bounty hunter and rarely directly from your own capital. because obviously we don't know how to trade properly and it takes time to be able to understand what trading means.

with the development of time and we have at least mastered and can analyze the results of the bounty we will exchange little by little to bitcoin before we finally really want to trade specifically for bitcoin. will definitely start with a nominal that is not large.

I agree with you that we must be instilled that in trading will not definitely get always a profit, because we may analyze or execute wrong so that the price does not match the forecast which results in losses. but with the passage of time we will be able to control ourselves to always be ready in every trade so that losses do not happen again.

Learned the basic in a simple Youtube video. Tried to follow along but still ended up in a loss because price is so unstable that I let of with my emotions.
How to do it too? Watch videos, don't buy courses first. If there's anything I could've done more, it would be reading books about trading.

Tips for beginners? Don't let the emotion get into you. It's the most overlooked by many newbies.

How did you start trading in bitcoin?
Well before I trade Bitcoin of course I did make sure that I have enough knowledge on it because it will be like suicide if I enter the market without anything know. Then I start reading some tips, what the do's and don't upon trading, and mostly here in this forum that is why you are on a good track and doing the right thing. I used to try trade on a demo account to gain experience before I enter the real battle.

Do you have any tips for begginers?
Just the basic like don't be greedy, don't put all of your eggs in one basket, never leave your stash on the exchange, invest only the money you can afford to lose, and more. Try to gain experience on a demo account before going on the real thing. Be careful with your storing your coins. You can all learn all tips as you go on don't worry about it.

I started as a trader using a small amount of capital. This is to just experience the actual scene of being a trader, so even if I lose the money its not going to hurt that much since I only use a small amount. I actually have someone who teach and guide me throughout thats why its not hard in my part to understand how trading works and what to expect.

What I can advice to newbies are dont rush things. Gain knowledge first, many videos and articles are available online that can help you to better understand trading. Use only the capital that you can afford to lose and dont buy at peak price regardless how good the coin is.

First I gained knowledge about it. How to sell/buy. Where to sell and buy and which exchange is suitable for trading. Like many exchange ange has great advantage like low withdraw fee, high exchange rate etc etc.
Then i enriched my assumption power. Because everything depends on a well calculated decision in trading. So its the most important think to know actually where to invest.
So thats how i started my journey

The most important tip I can give you is to not begin your journey as an investor or trader without taking the time to study the markets, trading on the surface may seem easy, you just buy a coin and then wait until its price goes up and then you sell for a profit, but trading is way more complex than that and most newbie traders lose all their money in less than a year, if you want to avoid being a statistic then you need to learn more about the markets and that can only be done by watching some YouTube videos, reading websites about the topic and reading books, only after months of study you should consider to begin to invest in this market.

Mine came when I first heard bitcoin, trading wasn't really something I was comfortable with, I have been investing since 2009 to 2010 years, I think early 2010 is more correct. Ever since those days I have invested into anything I found valuable and underpriced, and by 2013 or so I learned about bitcoin and had a bit of money and I invested into it, and also mined it a bit as well, nothing too big and I sold it waaay early and made a bit profit but nothing close to this, I had a lot of bitcoins that would worth a lot now but ended up selling for few thousand dollars profit.

Ever since those days I do trades here and there, I am still mainly an investor, I like putting money into coins I like, latest is bnb which is third coin I like a lot, first two was bitcoin and ethereum. I just trade here and there when some coins go down under the price I believe it should be and sell when it goes above.

I started trading bitcoin by buying from  people; selling on binance and taking profits in fiats (peer2peer transactions).  Soon enough i got very acquainted with how to buy and sell; then i started doing the same for etherum and altcoins; then i took up trading classes on youtube that helped me with chart creation and interpretation which led me to trade consistently, the good thing is i am still learning.

This topic will help you alot; do your research and continue to learn. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5238346.msg56269084#msg56269084)

For you to start trading cryptocurrency you will need money first, money that is meant for only to trade and that’s the money you know can lose it anytime and not bother much about it. Then you have to read how it’s being done, or you can watch some YouTube videos to quickly get the hang of it. Another thing would be to find a good exchange, and I recommend Binance or Coinbase, there are also people who prefers to make use of DEX's, but that’s only recommended when you’re experienced enough to go into it. That’s a choice you will make for yourself.

Of course, in trading, it is only right that in the beginning, you have to choose an exchange where you will trade well for your future coins. Just for example for BTC (https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT) and ETH (https://trade.kucoin.com/ETH-BTC), you can trade it in kucoin, which is also one of the most popular exchanges.

But before anything else, it is best to do some research first and look for reviews about exchanges to avoid frustration.

Because there are instances where there are traders who lose money, so it is really good that you are in a trusted exchange like I mentioned. And you should really choose the biggest and most well-known option.

You must be prepared for the volatile market. There are reliable sources where you can see the price of crypto, whether it is down or up. Because, before putting your money into a coin it is a good idea to study the assets.

I'm not be able to easily enter trading since I have no money to trade and I'm not comfortable in trading with my money that might lose if I enter in the wrong trade. At first I was be able to trade with small amount of money and focus in learning about the right entry and exit. Learn about different signals and indicators and compared it to make the right choose in trading. Binance is the only crypto exchange site that I personally recommend.

Here's my top 3 tips every beginner should understand about Bitcoin
[1] Study about Bitcoin - The first and the foremost thing that every novice should do is the study entirely about bitcoins. Getting to know all the details about cryptocurrency and bitcoins becomes important when you are investing in it for the first time.

[2] Understanding the transaction process - The very first time you create your Bitcoin wallet, you will be given a private key that can be used to access your data. As a beginner, you must understand that all the information related to your money will be available on the public ledger, and nothing is going to be confidential. Only the username and the password of the Bitcoin wallet will be e kept as private information. So, you must not be surprised if the transactions that you are getting displayed on the dashboard of the public ledger.

[3] Do not be surprised if you lose the Bitcoin - Sometimes the price of the BTC (https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT) can drop down immediately, and you may incur losses, and your Bitcoin wallet can go to negative. Do not be surprised, or do not even panic! This is how Bitcoin works, and as you start mining, the more you get the hang of all these things easily.

My pals introduced me to Bitcoin back in 2018 and thought me how the real way to buy (https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT) one since a lot of multi level marketing and scams are being made using bitcoin as their method of persuading people to give them money.

Just have a solid trading platform which is available in your location.
A solid hardware wallet or cold storage in which the private keys are in your possession esp if you gonna hold for long term
And patience, a lot of it!

What should you do first is you have to make your own rules to trading. As an example, if you are so greedy you cant win this game. And you have to be patient more than a normal person. Coz the thing is This trading field is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.
Then you have to learn technical analysis. You can use the trading view as a chart analyzer. You can learn technical analysis from youtube. There are many. Then you have to be a fundamental analyzer. Simply You have to read the news and understand the effect of the news on the Coin that you trade.
I just simply describe this but you have to work hard for this. And please don't deposit early. At least analyze the market for 6 months and make a sense of it.

I started trading in bitcoin when in 2014 I saw many opportunities that could make me rich, from bitcoin I learned little by little and was able to get bitcoin from the faucet, finally in 2015 I tried to learn more in this forum, and until currently I still survive and trade in bitcoin. trading in bitcoin is very fun because we can get a lot of profit unexpectedly.

When it comes to money making opportunity or making profits then trading would really be good for neither short term or long term aspects.Depends on the person whom do deal with it.

This is definitely giving out that kind of chance for someone to make profits in a short time or even making themselves rich depending on how they are really trading that well.

I remember when I do start up into this market is on where I do saw one of my friends gains and then able to have thought on myself that I could also do the same thing.
It might not start out to be fine in first try which is expected but later on I do able to have some good grasp on it.

I started through shillings that I got in some faucets.

But I didn't trade that suddenly, I am working at that time and when I saw that the price is having a great movement, I started to invest in it and did some small trading to other altcoins. For sure you could do it since all of us started to as a beginner. My only tip is that it is not always a good day so you should not think that it will always be profit since you could also lose in a day.

Welcome to the community and although I feel you are a touch late getting into the crypto world but from past I have learned that its late late to get into crypto trading so hope you do well.

My own crypto trading story started when BTC-E was still operating and I used to sell and buy bitcoins and make some profits but after the introduction of altcoins I started to take even more risks and although I have had a decent share of profits with altcoins, I would suggest learning about the project you invest deeply because even the best looking ideas fail and even the horrible ones pay off.

As for tips, I believe there are already so many suggestions so I will refrain from repeating the same thing but be careful and if you by any chance you are trying to get into futures trading be absolutely sure of what you are doing.

It has been 7 years for you since you are trading but the thing I don't like is that you called it "fun" to trade. Don't get me wrong and maybe because you are trading small amounts you call it funny but someone like me who trades for living and buy and sell multiple coins a day and stress all night about which coins will pump and which ones will dump. Its not easy being a trader if you are doing it seriously and for living.

I started trading some years ago and can't recall the exact year but I was more of an investor and less of a trader as I used to buy as many bitcoins possible and later when the bull run was going on, I used to sell some and again wait for the market to drop down for buying.

I started when my friend introduces crypto he shares knowledge on how crypto works and how to trade some coins. When I become interested to learn new things by that time I’m watching videos on how to trade getting some technical analysis on how we can enter the market. So in you a newbie should not be in a hurry gather some knowledge first before you trade in bitcoin. Learn also the management risks since crpro market is volatile.

Don't lump your own problems to others, as you are the one who gets stressed by trading. Nobody blames you for doing the trades and nobody blames you for doing it for your own living.

Yeah we can see that you struggle to get a successful trade as your food in the table are in stake for every move you make, but it is not necessary for every one of us. One of the main rules of trading is to not make it as your main source of income. So don't generalize everything as trading is meant for additional income in the first place.

People should realize that "how" you started is not important, how you kept going will decide on your future in trading. You could be lucky and bought bitcoin at 10k and sold at 40k during the past 7 or so months, that would mean you made x4 return in half a year and you may think to yourself that you are a great trader and you are a great investor, you might have been buying and selling and making a huge profit during this period as well, so your "start" would be making huge profits.

However reality is that we are in a situation where doing something right for a short period of time do not decide who you are and how you will trade in the future, just because you did great trading today doesn't mean that you will do great trading tomorrow neither, you will have to keep focusing on making more and more profits. Obviously it is not going to be easy but you have to keep grinding and learning in order to keep making a profit.

How did you start trading in bitcoin?

I started Trading in Bitcoin when all of my friends are Trading in Binance Futures. I got curious, and started to do full time trading since then. I do Day Trading when I'm not that busy, and scalping when I'm super busy.

How could I do that too?

Don't keep on asking if you can, just start Trading already while you're learning how to do the rest.

Do you have any tips for begginers?

Don't Trade a huge amount of capital at first, use small amount until you know what you're doing. Then increase your funds, and make profits. Don't be greedy as well, set your goal profit per day.

Shilling is not that bad, it is a good way to start because it is always that way, even on early days when we were trying to convince people that bitcoin was a good thing, many thought that we were "shilling" even though the word wasn't used for this purpose back in those days, everyone that says "bitcoin is awesome, you should check it out and put a bit of money in it" are actually shilling for bitcoin, does that make bitcoin bad? Of course not bitcoin is awesome, which means just because someone shills for something doesn't mean that it is a bad coin.

If you see shilling that makes sense, that is just suggesting a coin that could actually be a decent advice, but if you see shilling like "LOOK HERE, THERE IS THIS COIN, COME BUY IT" and so forth type of low level shilling that is just bad version. I got into bitcoin via bitcoin shilling honestly, but it was about mining, people were talking about how I could make 10-20 bucks with my laptop if I just mined this "bitcoin" thing and that is how I started.

starting bitcoin trading is very simple, just register on Binance and do deposit with your fiat,
then you can start trading bitcoin on binance, without trading knowledge we can get caught up in the whales game,
therefore learning about TA is very important and don't forget to always try it!

People get in at very different periods, its not really that weird to see that some people get in at 2012 and never made a dime but some people who got in at 2017 peak who we assume would make the most losses, ended up with a lot of profit. Of course there are many examples of the reverse as well, there are many people who made a profit from buying early on and many who lost during crashes but that is not the rule, there are many different people.

So, I think when you start doesn't really matter, or not even how you start matters, it depends on what you did afterwards. I have a friend who got in at 20k in bitcoin during 2017 peak, he bought 7 bitcoins, he started to lose so he started to do TA trading and bought and sold altcoins for the past 3-4 years and now he has 50+ bitcoins, dude didn't give up and ran away, he kept grinding more and more, everyone should try to do that.

I stated last 2013, where faucet give us free bitcoin and eth, I am using my free time searching for profitable BTC even it will only give you 0.00004 every 15min to an hr, I don't think that it will go up high as the price of it now, so I am very shocked that it is getting near to $43,000 it is very far from what I first see that, and that time people think that bitcoin is only a form of scam and used in some illegal operations, so they are afraid to use and invest on that.

I remember back in 2014 and so forth it was really a lot of news, I think I was in a lot before that but never really took it "too seriously" as a financial thing, for me it was a coding and software thing, I was always in love with blockchain and I still am to this day, it is definitely one of the best technological findings in the financial world ever, and that is why I think it got the first attention.

Of course over time people realized that they could also make money with it, but I am not sure if it was really the first thing that made bitcoin what it is today. After a while I bought and sold stuff using bitcoin so it wasn't really trading but I was keeping my balances all on BTC so I kinda did see it go up and down, while on my wallet and eventually that turned into putting it on some alts I like and switch back or go into something else etc and I realized I was basically trading few hours a day almost every day.

When ai learned about bounties and bitcoin , i really take time to learn how to trade, there were times I didn’t withdraw or put in cash what I earned in bounties I just use it to trade and to learn how to trade, I remember my first few tries where I lose my savings in trading since Im just a newbie, and just move on since it just came from bounties. But thinking of it now those amount is too large if ever I was able just to keep those rewards and simply convert in btc by that time.

There is only one advice, if you do not know how to trade on the exchange, then you should not go there without training, at least start with demo exchanges with a demo wallet, where you do not need to invest your hard-earned money, when you learn the basics of trading, then go to the exchange.

Yeah faucets are not that bad, I started with mining though, it was tiny amounts as well, it was 0.2 bitcoin which looks awesome right now but I am talking about 2 months of mining bitcoin with my laptop and making 20 dollars, that is 10 dollars per month for 7/24 laptop working to make money. Of course if I kept them it would have been 4k per month now, 8k total and it would be so worth it if I kept it but I could have just bought 20 dollars worth of bitcoin (which was 0.2 anyway) and still would have 8k+ right now from that.

However even the idea that "keeping my pc open makes me money" made me realize this is the future, and I think I do belong in this crypto future, I can't think of myself making money in any other way, I have been in this world full-time for the past 5 years or so and I am not going to be able to get out of it neither.

Yes you can do that too, but before I started investing and trading Bitcoin, the first thing I did was that I started with the basic, which is understanding what I am trading and that is Bitcoin; I read lots of articles that describes Bitcoin from the beginning to the end, and that includes what is Bitcoin, how it created, how it works and everything that needs to be learnt, even how I should store it and the best wallets I need to make use of and all that. When I have fully understood Bitcoin, I had to use it for a while and make sure that I am good at it before I started thinking of trading the asset.

-Knowing all the basics is a must
-Dont rush up on making profits or money
-Dont push yourself to be like into those people who do shows off big profits
-Take your time on learning from basic to advance
-Patience is a must

You should really have these kind of qualities if you do like to succeed.

Well, that is a good start, -- from technical to basic information must be learned first before you will start in trading. Because trading required knowledge and also skills, you just need to dig every sensitive information, which is there are your comparison, the pros and the cons of bitcoin.
However, I start for nothing in investing in bitcoin because all I know before when investing in bitcoin just hold for a long time and you are good, and now, I fully understand everything in trading altogether the risk that possible we encounter or even choosing a good exchange to use.

You can go to an exchange like Binance to get started, you can allocate your money whatever you have. then in trading you buy when the price of bitcoin goes down and sell when bitcoin goes up. for beginners, don't take too high a profit, the most important thing is to do it consistently until your trading skills are good. work hard and do it regularly well.

How did you start trading in bitcoin?

I turned to bitcoin through a friend and actually at that time bitcoins were quite easy to make, you only needed to invest a small amount of money or you could participate in mining to get bitcoin.

How could I do that too?

You just need to create an account at a reputable exchange and then top up to buy bitcoins, then you can start trading.

Do you have any tips for begginers?

The cryptocurrency market changes every day, so you should try to keep up with the latest information on the market.

Before deciding to invest in the cryptocurrency market I think you should learn about it carefully.
Try to answer the following questions before making a decision
What is Bitcoin and what is Blockchian technology
Is the cryptocurrency market safe
Is cryptocurrency banned in the country where you live
Are you ready to take the risks that cryptocurrencies carry?

The first thing you manage to decide when going into trading on the bitcoin market is your attitude when it comes to moving. Do you want to make money fast? Do you think that bitcoin is the future and holding it in the long term is the best option? By understanding your investment tenor, you can see which trading strategy is more suitable for your needs. If you are someone who thinks that bitcoin could be worth millions of dollars one day, then you will probably stick with a long term trading strategy. If you only recommend looking to profit from bitcoin price movements, this is especially suitable if you are using a short-term trading strategy.

Once you have chosen a trade, you are ready to think about your strategy at your risk. The good news is that having a trading strategy is a good step in the right direction to risk risks. In order for risk organization to really be associated with trading on the bitcoin exchange, it is important to plan your trades. This is where your trading strategy comes into play. Therefore, trade planning is the initial preparation of a battle. Trading planning planning, you also have to trade / trade according to your plan.

If you are trading Bitcoin for a long period of time, then you only need to think about how much of your assets will fit into bitcoin. In other words, the risk management process only comes into play with the right money management tactics. It's important to remember that bitcoin is still a high-risk, long-term speculation, and you should place a small amount from your entire asset portfolio into cryptocurrency. In many situations, the best way to keep your risks at bay is to make sure you don't put your children's savings or college tuition into bitcoin investments. Remember, you only need to speculate about the amount of money you are using and must be prepared to lose your money.

If you have a clear program of action, keep in mind that before you do it, things will become easier if you don't let your emotions take over you. Your decision when buying or selling should not be made at the time of execution of the trade. However this decision must be made before the initial action that led to your current situation. All you need to do is follow these guidelines.

Keep spirit and good luck ;D

To trade in crypto you must take risks it is not possible to trade without risk you need to use a third party platform to buy sell and trade bitcoin this could be an expert cryptocurrency exchange or a regulated CFD broker depending on the type of asset structure you want to invest in. Seriously it will depend on whether you are planning to trade bitcoin in the short term based on day trading or holding your investment long term. You also need to know about crypto, bitcoin trading and how to trade bitcoin.

Bitcoin first you should think about the guideline in your country and the trade which is upheld, presently expecting a trade like Binance is upheld in your country, you can begin by enrolling a record, confirm it if conceivable and purchase with your Mastercard. Before you contribute, you should legitimate and seriously ruling information about bitcoin, in light of the fact that the value breaks all record.

Actually talking of scams is how I got into Bitcoins. I accepted payment from someone and the payment was reversed by the guy because it was taken by me in my paypal account and I was so frustrated that I started searching for a payment method which was not allowing sender to reverse the payments once made.  I across many payment methods like Liberty Reserve and later Perfectmoney and some others but what caught my eye was Bitcoins because it was the first payment method which had no owner and hence no control once sent.

I heard of Bitcoins before that but I wasn't completely into Bitcoins before that incident and then once I got into this community and understood various benefits we have with Bitcoins, I never looked back and most of my transactions are within crypto only.

Here are the few tips I can give for before you start buying Bitcoin/Crypto:
[1] The first and the foremost thing that every newbie should do is to study entirely about Crypto. Getting to know all the details about cryptocurrency and blockchain is important when you are investing in it for the first time.

[2] You should understand the transaction process; The very first time you create your Bitcoin wallet, you will be given a private key that can be used to access your data.

[3] Choose the right Bitcoin exchange; You’ll create an account and enter a payment method. At reputable exchanges you’ll be asked for information such as your bank account details or a debit or credit card. You’ll then need to prove your identity with a driver’s license, ID or passport. After you’ve been verified, you can start buying Bitcoin (https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT) with your chosen payment method, transferring it to your personal wallet and watching with greater interest as its price fluctuates.

I started trading about 4 years ago, when it was still difficult to find articles about crypto trading. So I trade straight away without preparation,
of course first of all I experience more losses when trading. But as time goes by, I started to learn from the mistakes I had made. Finally, slowly
I found several effective trading strategies, for now learning to trade is very easy. Because there are so many platforms that provide trading courses,
from free to paid ones. My advice for beginners to start trading should be able to try with small capital, for the strategies used, you can learn from
the video tutorials on the YouTube platform.

Trading bitcoin is in two ways firstly you can start with the easier one by buying bitcoin when the price had dumped or dropped and hodl for a long term perceptive this don't requires much experience or knowledge, this can be comfortable done by a newbie infact a lot of investors had made huge profits with this method, the other method is learning to trade the bitcoin (BTCUSD) using chart and TA this require learning alot of resources like articles, watch YouTube videos on trading etc and it will take a considerable amount of time before becoming a real day trader or scalper.

He shouldnt forget as well the wallet that he is going to use for his assets if he isnt trading and will just be holding... He can rely on  this article (https://www.investopedia.com/best-bitcoin-wallets-5070283) to know which wallets are the best for storing.. There are lot of wallets that he can use and the most famous is the Nano Ledger X... there are also lot of platforms that are currently operating in the market which you dont know if its a secured one or not if he is going to buy BTC with big amount he should choose the top tier 1 exchanges like what you said.

Trading is good but you need to know basic trading first before making a decision to make a trade specially in crypto, if you wanted to trade you need to know first the kinds of coin you are going to trade know how it works and know the price and the volatiliy rate, if you wanted to earn you need also to study trading and avoid risk by start trading in a small amount that you can afford to lose, and always remember that patience in vey important as a trader.

I think trading bitcoin is not a bad idea but there are lot's of basic things you have to learn as a beginner. There are lot's of methods which can be use to trade depend on the type of method that works for you, different people have different pattern. The easiest method of trading cryptocurrency is buy bitcoin when the price is still low and sell when the price is high after selling it you wait for the price to dump or you wait for correction and buy back the coin. As a trader you don't have to be greedy, after buying a coin always make sure you set your stop-lose to avoid lost of fund, don't FOMO, as a trader you have to have patience don't. If you can follow this format or guild line I don't think you will really have problem when trading.

You just have to try to create an account on an exchange and after that, at least you will be able to learn whatever you get there. Start with a small amount of money because most of my friends started out with money not prepared to lose, so they just walk away and that's regret. So, if you have a different view of the good future in cryptocurency trading, then I think starting with a little money just to learn will be great for the next day.

I once had an acquaintance who started to trade Bitcoin when he was still in high school, he wasn’t that well off but was very smart and so he discovered that by joining this site and creating good quality posts and then after his status reached as a full member, he then joined signature campaigns and bounties. He saved the payment he received and traded his other altcoins with bitcoin and that was the start of him earning a lot by trading. If you are resourceful enough, you could learn a lot from this site. I did learn a lot from here and still am learning until now. And that what also motivated me to trade bitcoin, if he could do it then there wouldn’t be a reason none of us will not do too.

There are platform who give demo ac you should do buy sell there with different strategies. For an layman example buy at that day price and see there is a chart which shows volume and price. For 24 hours for week for long term. Observe it and see the candle which is red and green. Red means price going down green means going up. Buy with the green sell with red.
I do not really agree with the "wallet" discussions people have constantly about which one is safer and which one is not, the reality is that unless we are talking about huge sums of money, we can easily use binance as our wallet and nothing will happen there.

Even when binance got hacked they didn't bothered anyone with it, they are capable of actually paying people even after being hacked thousands of coins because they are THAT rich right now. Of course this is something at the very worst of situations, being capable of paying even after hacked, but if you start thinking about the good parts, that is going to change even more and more. This is why I think on a regular day, using binance as your wallet would be fine, they even started to have local exchanges as well that allows you to deposit or withdraw fiat from their website as well.

First of all before you jump in on buying/trading Bitcoin (https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT), you should understand the technology behind the bitcoin first which is blockchain, and then how cryptocurrency trading works, what are coins/tokens to look forward and to avoid, where to store your crypto and last but not the list is to choose the right cryptocurrency exchange. You might wanna see this Bitcoin for Beginners (https://cointelegraph.com/bitcoin-for-beginners) guide from cointelegraph.

That's quite obvious but the thread is about how each of us got into bitcoins trading and some tips for the new guys who are now starting trading.

I don't remember when exactly I started trading but it was because I was fascinated by Primedice I think in the earlier days of Bitcoins and because of the first time I heard provably fair games, I purchased some bitcoins through BTC-E I guess and started playing. I don't remember exactly how much I bought and if it was actually BTC-E.

I wish the amounts I lost initially when betting was somehow saved by me today and I would have easily been a millionaire by now or maybe close to that at the very least.

Let me share my experience on how I started trading BTC. It was a really good start for me, and it was a new thing to me. I was just introduced to it and I decided to try it out with small money. I sent the money to the guy and after few hours he sent the coin into my Binance account. I had to sit down for days to study the Binance Exchange platform to know how to run things on it. After a week, I began to understand it and after two weeks, I had known almost what I needed to start the trade. That was around when BTC pump to $10,000 and in less than 2 months, it dump back to around $3,000. That was the major breakthrough for me.

Literally though they need to learn the basics before getting into cryptocurrency, especially if they wanted to get into trading and not investing - they should learn how to read the charts and analyze how the market works and moves so they won't get left behind and obviously won't lose their investments in a snap.

Not everyone knows whats behind bitcoin and what technology it has, most of the investors nowadays are just into profits and once the bubble pops they will surely cry themselves... Most of them put their eggs in one basket as well, even though Bitcoin bubble doesnt seem to pop, chances are still there but using a good exchange will work specially the one with loads of offers

I started using bitcoin way back in september 2017, that time I don't have any funds to invest with it, so I just started doing airdrops and bounties. The rewards I got from campaigns are the funds I started to trade bitcoin and altcoins. That's how I started using or trading bitcoin. ;D

I’ve known Bitcoin since 2014, but never took it seriously. I just created a centralised wallet and another one from Blockchain.info and forget it for more than 3 years. In the mid of 2017, I started to get back to Bitcoin when it touched down $10k for the first time and took my time in learning how it works, trading, etc. Since I don’t have a capital to start, I have got it instead from airdrops and bounties and that’s where I learn how to trade and the rest is history.

I started trading with $5k, where I normally purchase when the price of bitcoin is low from the market and hold until the price increase to my satisfaction before I can release them for sale. I was not in competition with any trader in the market, than to focus With the result I got from my personal research which is still keeping me going as a good trader.
I don't rush to sell when others are rushing to sell  because the price of bitcoin just increased.

My advise to buy bitcoin at dip and then wait for some days . when price upband stable buy another coin fron top 10 coins.
Then again buy bitcoin when price dip.
At this time buy at 55k with half of your investment and then wait for dip to invest more

It's not a bad idea, but it isn't that recommended for beginners either.
Price volatility will just overwhelm a lot of newbie.
What happens when some get overwhelmed? They panic. What happens if they panic? They mostly sell. What happens if they sell? They don't go back.

You are doing the right thing, people should not be in race with other traders, specially newbies who see that people make a ton of profit, they tend to try to make a lot of profit as well but they fail, because reality is that you can't really make a huge sum of money from trading just because others did, obviously others could make a lot more money than you and you should not try to reach them.

The way to trade is to get in with a good set of mind and if you can find a good place to buy something you should buy and when it goes up too much and you think you should sell then sell it, if you do this without caring about anyone else, you could make a decent amount of profit. Unfortunately newbies see 5x profits made by others and they think they should make that kind of profit as well and they fail, because you are never going to make the same amount of profit as someone who got in earlier.

I started trading Bitcoin when the pandemic started.

I actually started investing in Bitcoin way back in 2016. I was not actively trading and just going for a long term investment. But since the pandemic started and all these pandemic protocols got implemented, I spent my time more at my house in front of a computer. My hobby since pandemic was gaming and to be honest I really enjoyed staying at home compared to going outside. And so, my trading life to Bitcoin and altcoins finally came when one of my friends I became closer with in gaming this pandemic introduced me to Binance. It is a famous platform being used across the  world for trading. He taught me how to trade and showed me different ways on how to study graphs using different studies. He even let me go copy his trades at first until I was able to do it on my own.

For me, I have known it since 2015 and started trading because of the coins that I got from faucets. The faucets before were generous because the price was still not high. But I understand crypto more, on how to use it because of faucets. I was not even here in the forum back then. But I remember playing in primedice and had cryptsy account.  ;D

Most important that you should not forget is actually DCA, because if you go all-in with something here is a chance you could actually end up losing way too much money, whereas if you end up going a bit less in, there is a chance you could actually make it work instead. Of course it is not going to be that easy for you to put that much money into bitcoin slowly, but as long as you are careful you should be making a profit while buying, that is the trick.

I personally got into bitcoin over course of a whole year, and still go into it with each new salary I get, not a lot of course because I was doing horrible financially until December but since December I have been doing a bit better, not huge but still doing a bit better, which of course in return did affected my investments a bit. I have been around for years now and I can say that I am quite happy about what I am doing.

To begin with, you need to determine a trading strategy for yourself, they are different, if for a long time, then buy on the bottoms and sell on the highs, although at the lows now Bitcoin has very few entry points, so you need to enter according to the situation, then use different trading strategies , on the forum you will find all the information

I don’t trade bitcoin at all, it must be bought and kept in my wallet, it’s hard to trade bitcoins, because of the low volatility, the price of bitcoin can stand still for a week and then go up, this is frozen money for a week, but if for a long time, Bitcoin is just the right for such a strategy.

Also Investing in some Altcoins might get you a slice of profit too. And the most important thing is HOLD it.

If you will not start today, then when?

I started engaging in Bitcoin market way back in my college days even though I heard already about even before that. And I regretted it because the sooner I started, the higher the profit I should've made in investing and trading it. So I suggest start now and start it with an advantage of having knowledge with it.

1) Ask friends who are already doing it. How do they trade and what parameters they use.
2) Do your research and find some online tutorials on how to read graphs applying different studies.
3) Make your own strategy by applying the 1 and 2.
4) Learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others. Try not to look back and feel sorry from the missed opportunities you had as you can also have your time to have a trade with good profit.
5) Enjoy and continue the learning you get from experience, research and insights from others.

Since you are in High School, it could really hard to focus on trading which is very important when you are doing this. It finds difficult for you as a beginner and that also you have school activities that you have to comply with. I could suggest to you is to watch online tutorials and videos where you can get an idea of how it works, make prepare your self before you start.

In your situation, this could I say suggest to you, BUY, HOLD, and SELL. This is not the time for you to engage in trading.
I wish you come back in here and read what the members are suggesting to you.

Started trading in 2016 – and I've started with crypto – without any knowledge about trading.

After some gambles in trying to catch big moves and eventually losing most of them, I decided it's about time to get a solid knowledge foundation for trading.  Read books, watched videos, started trading paper, built my first trade plan, …. I did put in hard work in my trader education and it took a while.  Gone from stressful day trading the 15 minute charts to now doing swing trading only.

Been trading FOREX for 5 years now and since 6 months I'm back in trading crypto.

How did you start trading in bitcoin?
I traded bitcoin for the first time in 2015-2016 I think (I am not sure).
the bitcoin price at that time was only 200-300 USD.
I knew about Bitcoin because I used it for a payment for a ponzi-schemed investment that I joined at that time. lol.
I bought bitcoin on a random website, OTC.

Do you have any tips for begginers?
I am not a good trader, but I can suggest you:
- set a target (profit/loss and long term/short term).
- set the portion of your portfolio
- don't all-in, hold some stablecoins will be good, just in case there are some dips.
- control your psychology.
- don't join pump/dump groups (signal groups).
- don't follow a price prediction, price target, or any other advice related to price on social media (by crypto influencers).
- only use money that you can afford to lose.

your not an offial starter in trading because you havent bought any but you are in the right place to ask this question .
im not discouraging you to enter trading but it will be easier for you to foccus in your studies if you finish it before you join in trading  because education is important than anything else  .
education demands lots of money from tuition fee to school project and others and if you loose your money in trading you will fail .

Never worry about the past losses; just invest in Bitcoin and recover all your previous losses; HODL will be the best thing for you to do so that you can have your time to be studying and participating in other  activities.

If you really do have money for investing in cryptocurrency, just put it there but make sure you put it at the right time, then you can hold it there for a long time and make profit. You can even hold it till you graduate from high school and by then the price might have reached a really high level and you will have enough to do other things with it. Right now I don’t know if I should tell you to invest, price has been on the move and we don’t know when it may crash.

I started by putting a bit of a courage together because it was really risky to trade bitcoin during the period I started trading. In 2013 not that many people were around, price barely went over 100 for the first time ever and it was seen as a dark net money and nothing more than that. So, trading bitcoin to make more money was really not that common.

Thankfully I had a very desirable skill and I was capable of putting that as service and I made some money during that period and used that money to trade, the more I made the more I traded and I eventually reached to 2+ bitcoins without putting in a single cent into bitcoin. This is not really that different from now for anyone who will start trading because now it is seen as a great thing but it is so high that trading would be very very risky if you want to get in, different reasons for being risky, but still very risky.

I think if you want to start trading in bitcoin at this time and the price is high at this time I suggest waiting for the price of bitcoin to go down, and I suggest buying it at a price of $ 30k because if bitcoin goes down it won't be below $ 30k but if you want to buy it now This is also OK as long as it is invested long term.
always fun to read it when bitcoin price grow

You can start from whatever capital you have, but for beginners I recommend that you use a small amount of money as a method of training and your introduction.
tips from me are to buy at the lowest price and hold until the high price then sell, for this you can visit a large exchange I suggest Binance where you can see a clear and detailed price there, good luck

It took me months and sleepless nights just to handle most of my positions don't do any copy trading just self-learning and investment in myself.

If you are interested in a thing, definitely you will find a way to know it more. Some go online research, asking an expert, and some are asking from their friends.
I'd come into trading not because somebody tells me. I'd just come because I just saw it online but to be honest, it doesn't have a good start and it is really hard to adjust the market if you only have limited knowledge about trading. I decided to stop coz I realize that if I continue, it only accumulates my losses and beats me ended nothing. I study it, have practice, and from those bad experience, it teaches me a lot, and encourage me to work hard and to continue learning.

I started trading by attending some lecture on bow to trade cryptocurrency. After this, I began to research on how to become a profitable trader by reading a lot of documents online and watching YouTube Video on strategies. It takes some time to get most of the things rightly (2 years of consistency), but I am a better trader now.

2 years that you're able to spend on what you are right now? That's a lot of patience that you did there and that's also what many of the newbies must hear from you. Because a lot of newbies today think that it's easy to go and trade as much as they can and earn just like those experienced ones do. But they don't realize that people like you who trained yourself to become good at trading and include me to those investors who have strengthened the discipline of being patient.

Curioisity once comes up to you, it will allow you to find or seek for ways how to learn about the venue of investment

that you aiming to participate, it's tough and it takes time for you to understand everything, it's not like something

that quickly be learned, you need to put efforts and dedications.
The weird part is, when that curiosity comes it never leaves. Back way years ago when I first about bitcoin I didn't care about it, and I was here as well and I checked it more than any other person at the time and I still didn't get in because I was afraid of losing real money for some "internet money" that I wasn't so sure about. If I invested during that period I would have been a very wealthy person by now, more than anyone I know, could have been maybe even reach nearly a billion dollars if I was lucky enough, it was totally possible.

However what did I do? I ended up with not putting any real money into it and then bitcoin went up a lot (around 100-200 dollars) and I came in at that time. I didn't even put money in it at that time neither, because I was an idiot. So long story short if you see it once, you will come back to it once again.

right, we meet many beginner traders who want to have income like pro traders. they seem to want a shortcut that is to get money easily and in a short time. without them knowing they are categorized as gamblers, and this is a delicacy by the whales. they are victims of options without hard work, we must remember that in trading capital security is the main requirement

My response for now is not the right time for you to start trading Bitcoin, but if you want to do it anyway you have to really know the current state of the market, otherwise you will have a bad experience.

Solution: you have to be patient to monitor the state and movement of Bitcoin in the future before you trade, if your luck is good you have to wait for Bitcoin to actually decline at the lowest price.

For Tips you can read and learn below.

Congratulations on your becoming a profitable trader for 2 years, it does prove that learning and biding your time in trading is really worth doing because you will reap the benefits big time. My introduction to trading was simple, I just saw my friends do it and I talked to them about and they are eager to teach me and I am still a newbie but I haven't had any big losses so far.

it is clear that a lot of learning and direct practice, even though starting with small ones, will be more able to achieve goals because they are able to be able to find out existing deficiencies and correct mistakes for bigger ones.
Of course it takes tenacity as you do with a fairly long time of almost 2 years but finally being able to produce the intended is something of happiness in itself.

It's not easy to become a trader if you look at the results of the colleague above which took more than 2 years to learn a lot, but actually you can also directly practice with a small capital first, following the analysis we learned while seeing where the shortcomings we face because not all will be the same because in practice directly there will be problems coming up can be different. should not give up even though the cost that is drained is also not small.

The first thing to do in starting out as a trader is to learn as much as possible about trading.
The next thing is to research about the best exchange or suitable exchange for you. There are several exchanges and you'd need to select the best one for you depending on your country.
Thirdly, you'd need to practice trading. Either with a demo account or practicing with an amount of money you can afford to lose. I, however, believe trading with a real account instead of a demo account is advisable.

Just invest when the market is low. And I think it also depends on how long you want to be holding your investment (that’s if you’re going for a Hodl,) you can decide to invest now at the current and wait for two years or even four years.

I have seen someone who invested in bitcoin in their first year and Hodl’ed till they graduated from school, that’s for four years. Not everyone can do that, but if you can, it’s okay as that will give you more chances of making profit from the market. Then if you want to be a day trader, that’s also a pretty good idea. I started with HODL, until I noticed that my friends were frequently buying every assets whether the price is going up or down, while I only wait till the prices are low to buy. That’s when I knew that they were day traders, and I decided to join.

Luckily I had access to a reliable exchange for Bitcoin only right from the start, but we all know what happened to cryptsy and I was part of that disaster as well.
That was my first big disappointment and I thought I should stop for a while until there are regulated trading places for alt coins. Usually all exchanges with alt coins were suspicious to say the least.

You can likewise purchase from somebody, perhaps a companion who will at that point ship off your own wallet. Then again, in the event that you need to turn into a broker, you should go further by learning about exchanging. I used to stand by up to that point, and further sell the tokens. In those days I never searched for benefit, further gradually found out about the way toward exchanging to make benefit.

I started trading when I got bitcoin as payment when I sell some of my stuff online, and I don't know about Bitcoin back then. I was looking for a way to convert bitcoin to fiat money then I got interested in cryptocurrency. With my $100 investment, I didn't expect to earn four times my investment in just a few weeks. I guess my beginner luck is superb. After that, I read a lot of strategies and tip about crypto trading.

Yeah I remember earlier the exchanges were few and the traders had no choice but to trust them. Now with so many established exchanges that problem is finally solved and with the entry of decentralized exchanges, the market is getting more and more robust slowly.

Stable coins solved the biggest problem in my opinion because I remember when I was new to this community and exchanges, I always had to cash my coins through a local seller when the market was dropping and they would charge a premium commission at those times and I would either have to wait and watch the value drop or had to pay extra premium fees. Similarly, when the price was going up, the local seller was charging extra for buying. With USDT, I can always sell/buy at market rate.

Traders from a few years ago can relate to the pain I am sharing. It sounds like it wasn't a big problem but it was a huge pain to pay extra fees and even involve bank in all transactions and later during tax filing I had to explain those transactions.

If you have the knowledge then trading is really the best place to put your money,  compared to gambling where heavy risk always behind you, with trading

you have the chance that you'll be able to find the right patterns to follow that may lead you to the right direction and continuously rinse from this market.

Your money your call, that's always the principle choose wisely and thinks that it's your responsibilities to whatever your investment went thru,
give your best shot to earn from your chosen venue.

Obviously this is an unforgettable experience because gambling can finally lead you to get to know bitcoin. obviously because of the two very different sides of gambling with bitcoin. moreover we know that for some countries gambling is clearly strictly prohibited and even though bitcoin is the same but more people recognize bitcoin.

actually the method may not be much different, because the experience of gambling can become more self-controlled, for trading in bitcoin which is clearly more reliable profit in bitcoin than in gambling. because gambling is only based on luck which is very different from bitcoin which requires very precise and measurable analysis so that it can produce the best action.

IIRC Bittrex was the biggest exchange players between 2016 - 2017 before they got replaced by binance months later. Bittrex was the market leader then since they had not just top cryptos listed but they also listed the best ICO tokens at that time. It was the first exchange I started trading with using ztrader app (now obsolete) before moving to tabtrader app because the user experience was much more better including the UI too. But I later stopped trading on Bittrex altogether due to the fact that they started locking accounts while forcing users to do KYC with them. It's still a good exchange (considering they've not exit scammed for years now) just that they've fallen below the pecking order very much behind Binance, Huobi, KuCoin and even OKEx.

I think they are still quite big judging from the orderbook sizes there and how quick they arrange for me. I mean I do not trade anymore practically now just selling weird coins I can sometimes get here and there for BTC and then withdrawing it all. Very quick,,, not like slow exchanges that tell you all sorts of things.

They did also try IEOs before but those failed badly and gave them a bad reputation.

Quoted by Investing, here are ways to trade that can be done, but keep in mind that everything is risky:

Hodl: You can keep bitcoins after buying them as a means of long-term investment.
Day Trading: When buying and selling bitcoins within the same day. You have to keep an eye on price movements so you can know when is the right time to buy and sell bitcoins.
Pump and Dump: You can buy a huge amount of bitcoin to influence the bitcoin price and sell it when the price has gone up.
and experience is the main teacher and patience is the thing that must be the foundation not emotional

when they implement and force every users to complete thier KYC.

Yeah, I haven't written Bittrex off completely yet and I'm not sure why anyone would do that. Like I said earlier, Bittrex is still a good exchange. The major issue they have right now is low liquidity. Liquidity is one of the most vital factors in trading that should be taking seriously that would ensure we can execute our trades without any issues and that's an area Bittrex is lacking. On average, they get between $180M - $220M in daily trading volume compared to Binance with over $110B+ on  their average volume. I don't know about other traders here but I like to stick to where the money is.

when they implement and force every users to complete thier KYC.

Forcing KYC on users and going as far as locking some accounts at that time was a big turn off for a lot of users. They shouldn't have approached the issue of KYC that way.

I think that is okay if they had to survive,,, and it explains why everybody who did not want to use kyc went over to Binance. I personally do NOT really mind KYC if it is a service I use a lot and want to keep using and of course,,, one that I need.

People do KYC for aidrops in this space though so crypto people are hard to understand.

First of all, if any one PMs you about a trading strategy they claim works wonders - ignore, it is probably not legit.

As for getting started with Bitcoin now it is a great time due to market volatility where you can buy low and have chances to sell for profit. As for trading basics there are plenty of resources to learn how to do, and Binance has plenty of tutorials you could give it a go. Top advice is to get started with something simple, then move in as fast or as slow as it works for you!

So that i saw both down and up season of BTC. But from now BTC will be jump and jump because market has explored and more more investment has came here. So i think you will enjoy this market.

It was all started out of curiosity of course we are not all born traders and after some testing I tried to understand how to read graphs, candlesticks, strategies and indicators and after that I was trying to apply those on my trades to see if they could work and so far they could and most of the time they worked. I suggest for beginners to study first technical analysis and try to invest a little bit to test if you really do understand and you applied it right.

Start trading in Bitcoins by choosing the perfect exchange, do the KYC there and get set ready to buy the first Bitcoin yourself.
But as you are a fresher, then my only advice will be to start with little amount.
Get familiar with trading terms and do a background research of Bitcoin, like when the price got increased or decreased etc.
In this way i have started my trading journey.
You can also buy paid signals , it you seriously want to be pro trader, though this is not recommended.
Good luck OP for your future.

Well,,, for me it is always about need. If I really need the service, I will KYC for me it is no problem. If I can find an alternative I will go for it, and always it is a balancing of trust and need. KYC for airdrop and other stuff? No thanks. But I do need an exchanger until I find a better/easy way to do my crypto to fiat conversion conveniently:)

Learn from my mistake in crypto trading in the pass, actually the most important thing in crypto trading is how to determine trend of crypto market, only 2 scenario of the trend, bullish and bearish . When the market starting to bullish, we can buy good coin and holding it for 1 year or more. And when the market any indicate to be bearish, we have to sell it and take profit. But if we enter to the market in the middle of bullish market, just like now, we can buy some good coins for duration shorter because the market can be changing to bearish anytime.

Determine that you are a patient person because trading is something that drains your mind and emotions. Choose which path you will choose, whether you are a Hodler, or a day trader, both are profitable only if you understand and have many hours of experience. Also understand, that trading is a risky thing.
As my advice to newbies, choose the top 3 coins in the marketcap, buy small amount first and don't force it beyond your knowledge, the rest depends on how fast you learn and read the market.

I do remember, I earned few tokens from bounty and that token listed on few exchanges. I had to sell them off in an exchange and 2 days later I noticed the price go down. I attempted to buy back the same tokens and sold them off for a limited profits after two days. This made me think of trading regularly. I invested in BTC, BNB, Matic in 2018. yes obviusly

Learn all indicators and their meanings, invest less initially and have lots of patience. These are the key aspects of trading.
