I think your gas (Gwei) is too low thats why it takes 24 hours and still, it was not confirmed, Anyway, it depends on the wallet that you use if you use the Metamask or Imtoken wallet which is I'm also using they have a transaction acceleration function to increase the gas fee so that it will confirm smoothly.

There are detailed instructions on how to speed up or cancel a pending transaction. Now this instruction is relevant when fees for GaS can float in the range of 40-300 Gwei.

I was also facing this issue for sometime because mostly using very low gas fees now after watching this understand how this can increase thanks for this link. :)

How much gas price did you use for your ERC20 transaction? In last 2 or 3 days, the fee is cheaper than previous days. Today, gas price for average transaction is 42 Gwei.

If you need to cancel or replace your transaction, please read Ratimov's guides.

In the future, you need to check network and average fee before make broadcast for your transactions.

If your transaction is not urgent then you can just wait for it to get confirmed. It will be confirmed eventually. But just make sure that it is pending and not just rejected. But if you are in a hurry then you may cancel that pending transaction and start a new one after sending more amount for your internal gas and then try paying a higher fee. That would work for sure provided your pending transaction is just experiencing some network problem regarding gas and fees.

personally, before making any transaction, I like to follow ethereum gas tracker, from here you can always check it https://etherscan.io/gastracker . also, try to use the average gas fee for medium speed. if you want a fast transaction you need to use high gwe that cost you high. I hope already you got the solution to your problem. now you can lock this thread to prevent more spam here.

I'm using MyCrypto desktop wallet and there are setting there that you can set to make your transaction confirm faster, always check the gas tracker so you will not encounter this kind of issue, it's very annoying to see your transaction delayed for over 24 hours, if you are a trader you are going to lose a lot of of trading profit.

I think it has something to do with your gas fee. It might be too low, choose higher gas fee for faster transaction.

Try to create a new transaction with a better fees and you can replace your old transaction with a new one that will be confirmed even faster than your old transaction.
Just try to make a new one and it will be replacing your old tx automatically. You can also cancel it by sending zero amount if you want.

what wallet do you use? because I usually get a notification "speed up transactions" when the network is congested and when I click it automatically the gas will be added according to the current GWEI, I'm talking metamask.
so that you don't do the same thing again, make sure to check your https://ethgasstation.info/ before making a transaction

It should not be legit to take a long of 24 hours more. If it is taking more than 24h then may there have a less amount of gas. Because it's basically taking less amount time it would be max 6h, but according  your description, it's clear that your gas not enough for fast transaction.

There's no shortcut on it and you are right. It only has to take a few hours but in the past weeks, I've also seen the same complaints and problems through ERC20 token transactions.
The only solution is just to pay a higher gas fee. I've done transactions recently and can say that I've got no problems with delays as I did pay a recommended fee which isn't that much.

You cannot confirm an erc20 transaction before the transaction picked up by miners on the network.
To accelerate it, you should using the recommended gas fee. If you were using metamask, then metamask should have recommended you the right amount of gas.
What wallet did you use to transfer your erc20 ? I suggest you to cancel your pending transaction and make a new transaction with higher gas.

This transaction was hanging two weeks ago, so I am afraid that it has been completed a long time ago, or has not been implemented due to too low gas and rolled back to the sender's wallet.

It would be good to close this topic.

If you are not in hurry just wait the transaction will automatically stop and sender will get his eth back, what type of wallet you using? always make sure you use mid gas fee if you are using coinomi wallet, if you are using trust wallet you don't need to adjust anything as the wallet will warn you when doing so

A pending transaction is usually because the gas you apply is too low. You can repeat transactions with higher gas costs according to current costs, you can see them at https://ethgasstation.info/

Too little gas is 99% of the reason that the transaction is hanging. However, it is not always possible to accelerate a pending transaction. It all depends on what wallet the sender uses. In this case, we do not know that.

I hope that everything turned out well and that the user got their funds back.

Your transaction was pending because of low gas fee you used or gas fee fluctuated so high that your transaction were skipped by the miners because miners prioritized high gas fees in the network. You can overwrite it or cancel it using some methods provided in the pending transactions instructions.

This is an effect of low gas fee or you customized it too low, however, i believe the updated Imtoken wallet have a feature for accelerating transactions and also for canceling transactions, therefore import your wallet to Imtoken and see if it is still possible. And if you are already using Imtoken and it's no longer possible to accelerate it or cancel it, then import your wallet to Trust wallet and send the transaction again, this time around don't touch or customize the gas fee, just carry out the transaction again, it will kind of override or cancel the previous one. Nowadays that Ethereum gas fee is always high, be very careful of customizing gas fees, because you might end up wasting your gas fee as the transfer will run out of gas or result to a pending transaction.
