Hahahaha I have been getting quite alot of engagement lately... and pretty sure I'm not the only one  it's crazy seeing dm's  from doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts & Olympians.  Parents wanted me to be any of the above and now they're in my dm's trying to learn about crypto and how I make 6 figures from holding/staking altcoins like $BET $LINK $ ADA. Hmmmmmmmmm life.

It's cool that you were able to achieve such a result, but nevertheless, anyone can deal with cryptocurrencies, the same doctors, lawyers, engineers without interrupting their main activity, spending not so much time on it, make periodic purchases of the main coins Bitcoin, Ether, Polkadot

Anyway, its not too late for them to get into this market, they can have more good coins while learning the system of cryptocurrency and if you have a friends that needs your help, its fine to guide them but never to spoon feed them.

I have the same thought.  I have lost a lot due to the natural disasters and the covid-19 pandemic.  However, I was fortunate to be back in the cryptocurrency market.  I will not trade like that.  I will try to start over with crypto in order to find success.

Yes, I think it's the right time for them to convince him since the market is good state. It's doing really unpredictable and the price really high but its also not proper time to buy since it's really expensive right now. @DAVID I guess you also need to make your parents proud at least and I think you're not in the right age to get full time in cryptocurrency. You also need to study first or you can do it both. Depends in your capability but in my opinion don't lose your vision in cryptocurrency. It's a huge opportunity so don't lose it. If the person profession is really what you mention, I don’t know why they will become interested to your earnings because there salary is same worth with that per year. Your profit on crypto is not consistent throughout the year though. It just happened that cryptomarket is very volatile. Many didn't not believe before or already told that BTC will not reach another heights after the 2017 pump. Whenever I suggest other to buy some BTC as investment they are really hesitant since they think it will not pump again until this year happen and others just keep buying by themselves and Plas to hold in long term until the price sky rocket again thinking maybe another 3yrs and the price will reached new ATH again.

It is good that the people around you are now finally interested in crypto and this trend is similar all around the world, it will not be surprising if all this fomo result in mass parabola that we have never seen before in the crypto market.

ADA and LINK however could be possible if you have good amount of investment. I tried staking 5000 ADA on yoroi and I got about 4+ of ADA a week, fair enough.

It's good to see that even professionals are seeking help when it comes to crypto investment. If you are really making 6 figures staking or holding the coins then it is really huge, i am in the market for a long time but i am yet to make this level of money on a consistent basis. I'm experiencing the same as you that most of my relatives want me to be a successful person and when I say successful is that I have a job where I can get stable source of income. Yeah, I know what it feels like because there's a lot of friend of mine and family are asking what is Crypto specifically Bitcoin, how this work and how to earn it. Well it's all started when I just bought an expensive thing and they wonder where I got that money from and I tell about Bitcoin, you can see how amazed are they looking at their face and that's what's extraordinary and now they want to learn and engage with it. And now that Bitcoin is becoming a thing, sooner or later we will have a vast community across the world and that would be great, I think.

People are greedy and basically always up for easy money. This is the same thing that happened in 2017 when every crypto started to pull heavy profits.
People from various places and occupations started to ask how to get into cryptos.

That's the way of life my friend. No one here can tell me they didn't hope for some profit in crypto. Of what use would knowing about crypto if you don't profit from it. Even being updated on the course for the sake of not falling into scam platforms is a profit because, you get to keep your coin or fiat.

All of a sudden posts like this coming out about lawyers and doctors interested in a shitcoin. Mind you, I actually think Cardano's pretty cool, never got in myself after all the time thinking about it but eventually decided to call it even and stop myself from bleeding into alts even more. But retail interest is ALWAYS in BTC, nothing else.

You can't blame them. I have a lot of friends who were suddenly curious on how earning in bitcoin works and I always tell them as much as I could. I have no reason to be selfish about it and on the other hand, it is still not easy even though they already know how to do so. It would take a while before they can make profit out of it and I always make sure that they are aware of that fact. It does not surprise me anymore actually, that even those people who said bitcoin is a scam are now asking on how to make money out of it. Well, if everyone is interested in crypto nowadays, and it is a new person, even when he is a lawyer or a doctor, they need to be directed towards the popular coins. however, some of them thought that all the potential coins were equal, and ended up choosing shitcoin. Personally, I'm not surprised that a lot of people have picked interest in crypto recently. The market has been booming consistently for over 3 months so it's not surprising to see a lot of people trying to get aboard the bandwagon  or at least get a piece. When bitcoin was at $41K, I got several messages from my friends about buying Bitcoin at that price but I had to tell them to hold off on buying for now except they want to DCA.  When crypto hit the bottom during the March 2020 crash, I told a couple of my friends that wanted to buy btc that it was the best time to buy but they were too afraid to buy even a small quantity. But the story has changed today. They don't care about price and just wants a piece.

We need to try buying low and selling high for a change.

There are different type of people in this world and I've noticed that many don't want to lose a hair on their head for money making, they always want the easiest way out, yet they will get jealous if you take the step and pursue what they couldn't, I'm not ready to introduce crypto to any newbies because I've been blamed twice before, even after telling them about the risk involved they will pretend as if it's nothing but wait till they lose money you will see their true color

Not really a good sign if they bought cryptos thinking its gonna make them rich while the reality sometimes isn't like that. If the bullrun ends and they are buying at around ATH then they might think crypto is a bs and never gonna try it again.
I prefer the mass adoption approach of using crypto as alternative to money not some get-rich-quick scheme. That way people will stick with cryptocurrency for a lot longer.
However, regardless the outcomes exposure is still exposure atleast it's gonna make crypto more popular I guess.

I am not on your side with this one, I am not here to judge you but you must be really famous to know people who are doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts and Olympians as pretty much, they are in different fields, and pretty much very busy with their works. So getting DM's from this busy personnel are somehow unbelievable. especially that you are an individual and not a company.

It's is possible, doctors have grades I believe and so are others too, in my country I've been called by bank managers to talk about crypto, they are more into mining than the investment part though and many bankers are buying bitcoin too, I'm 💯 supportive of the OP

What I mean is that all of those professionals, come to him for advice. I might believe it if its just Doctors and lawyers, but including all the other professional jobs are just out of this world, and pretty insane.

This happens often every time cryptocurrency makes a noise, especially during the bull market. The amount of dm's I've been receiving recently had been increasing, friends, classmates from my college days even at highschool, and random people asking me about crypto. Most of these people are those who are skeptical about crypto when I first introduced it to them, now they are bombarding my inbox with messages. I guess this is normal since crypto is now being more exposed due to the amount of money getting involved on it.

Yeah that's very true. Most of time people are around me who know about crypto are like it's not a real thing stocks are better like that. And when the market is in high level they they saw something in the television they flipped opposite. And many new people also come and start to know about crypto. The the bad thing is when market started to lose they leave the market and in few months they don't have any idea about the market.

That maybe because, they are really not interested in crypto, but instead, they are interested about the profit they would make which they think is "EASY".  That is the attitude I am pretty annoyed as who in the world would believe in those things that you can earn "EASILY". It is all due to late realizations and because they are seeing how fascinating Bitcoin price have grown within just a short span of time. Imagine having the new recorded ATH last December 2020 that have already been followed by the next new recorded ATH all on the same year and as the year 2021 enters after a few days or weeks, the ATH of Bitcoin have attained a new record same as the rise and recovery of other cryptocurrency coins that most likely convince them of what it really takes to tag along and get engage into crypto. They were all educated and they can learn it by themselves if they have a time. Are you sure? I always thought that money is the only one that investors are interested in. Cryptocurrency became more popular, compared to previous year, but have a lot of things changed? Miners are still mining as they did years ago, crypto did not get mass adoption yet. This summer no one spoke about cryptocurrency so much, market cap was around 300 billions us dollars. And then suddenly, investor saw the light of development and increased market cap 5 times.

If you think this is all due to development, could you name top5 major updated in cryptocurrency during 1 year period? I will help you a bit and name DeFi. How ever DeFi was already when market cap was around $300-350 billions, so it has affected market, but not that much imo.

Yeah. I think everyone who are in this market for a long time faced same situation. Cause from 2-3 years back from here there are lots of people who don't know about crypto and many of them are against it cause world Media promoting as something which is not good. But now the whole market is in really good position. So those people who aren't interested suddenly think they will be rich over night. So they try to invest as soon as possible but don't want to know how this market works. And I think that will be a big problem.

People love joining the hype and you can't blame them, even the celebrities are joining the bandwagon. Its a win win situation for us - just look how the Bitcoin surges since last year? hoping that it will continue for I want to take advantage of the current market. I don't think those professionals contacted the right person tho. Because I can't see anything funny on what they're trying to do, they simply want to understand Crypto so you should rather help them if you can. Life isn't about what you have now, it's what you have in the future permanently. Those lawyers, engineers and doctors that you have mentioned, you cannot simply take away to them their profession, but you as an investor, without money, you are just nothing.

oh wow, that's how cryptocurrency shakes the world. That's good to hear really how professionals started to be interested with cryptocurrencies. However, I hope it's not only because they're after the money lol I hope they're inspired to think about how to adopt cryptocurrencies usability to real life, to their specific job. This situation always happen when crypto market super bullish like this year, it happen to me too in 2017-2018, but after the crash and long bearish year they will hate you. My advice is " dont guve any advice about any coin to buy " if the coin fall my prediction we will see it starting q1 2022. They all will blame you. Yeah it's quite entertaining how the world changed. People go where the money is. It's probably also due to the corona pandemic. A friend of mine was laid off last year as a pilot due to corona and is looking now into cryptos as well. He always talked about his job and how cool it is to be a pilot but now he is needing money because no one is hiring pilots these days.

For newbies it can complicated, because they don't understand the platform's features and also get confused with so many options of coins to be bought. Furthermore some exchanges are fully of bureaucracy for new users, what means they need to send ID card in different positions, selfie, proof of address, confirm account through email, cellphone and in the end they still have to wait several days for the platform's confirmation.
If I was starting right now in crypto universe I would be very disappointed by all these steps that are at least very boring to be followed. In early days everything was much faster and simpler.

I don't see it being complicated. Before they register, they can see how many coins they can buy, and from that option, they can think and choose those coins before they even deposit.
And about the KYC, it's not a complicated thing to do and if you want to do it, I don't also see it as a hard thing to do. Because there are exchanges that won't force you to do that if you're okay with their limit.

Yeah I also faced same kind of situation. I entered the market in end 2017. After few days the market started to crash and most of the people lest the market. Many those never entered the market thought that this whole market is based on nothing. And think it's not worth investing. But after 2021 they fully Changed when they saw this huge profits gain they also recognised the market. But the problem is they don't want any kind of knowledge. They just want the profit. And for me that's a huge problem.

It's no surprise that a lot of people are resistive to change specially when it involves them financially. Some just jumped in to crypto hearing the large profit someone else made while some were calculating the risk and reward. One of the thing that really boosted the adoption of crypto is its acceptance from established businesses. Paypal and Mastercard are what people are used to and now they accept crypto. Elon Musk is an idol to many and he is a good crypto fan and now selling cars for bitcoins. Though choosing the right coin and buying and selling them on proper time would still be tricky for newbies.

It is but they would not realize that at the beginning, they want instant profit and that can only be achieve through short term trading. They are just lucky as the trend is way to predict during the bullish season, but once the bullish season is over and they are still using the same strategy, that's where the problem will start.

When I first made my investment with cryptocurrency in 2012, I was very enthusiastic about it and talked to almost all of my friends and relatives about cryptocurrency (back then no one really thought that BTC would increase by 10,000 times in a decade, and most of the users were ideologically driven). The first bull run occurred in December 2013. But it hardly made any change in the situation. My friends were mostly indifferent. However after the 2017 bull run, the situation changed and some of them started showing interest. But the huge crash in 2018 destroyed everything. But this time it is different. Almost half of my friends are showing strong interest in cryptocurrency, and the major difference is that these people have got themselves educated about cryptocurrency. They understand that cryptocurrency can be used as a tool to protect their assets from inflation. 

Indeed, thats the usual thinking if we see an opportunity to earn big time. Even without enough knowledge and just relying on other people's experience, we tend to go with the flow and see if we can earn as well. Thats why if there's a bullrun we can notice the increasing number of investors who would like to join the ride hoping to profit.

But this is the usual reason why people lose their money, getting scam or regretting their decision on why they engage themselves.

Since the last quarter of last year, there has been increase in the rate at which bitcoin and altcoin are being discussed in the social media including newspaper etc. Anyone that just hear about the massive rise in value within a few month won't think twice to check what it is. Crypto adoption is growing fast and there is great chance that a lot of more prominent people will continue to make crypto a top priority. what we all hope for is that they enter the market when they do know the risks. lest they feel cheated and think crypto is a scam.

Make it 7 figures and you can be considering your decision correct. However, with just 6 figures which translates to me at $100k, you didn't do justice for yourself. In fact you could have made ten times more if you were a productive member of the society and you would have felt more complete. In the past Bullrun like in 2017, I have many friends who got interested and tried using crypto for profits but when the correction happened, Most of them stop using it and totally abandon it. But on this year's bull run, Most of them got back and shocked by the recent crypto prices. But when bitcoin started to touch 59k many of them came to be to know how they should invest and they started to advice me that their money I'll be 4-5x in just few months. I think it happens on every Bull market many people come but they don't want to know about the market they just want the money and most of them failed and leave the market then blame it. You must be a Nigerian. i think that is the place where many are hustling to Join the crypto space because the current value of the countries currency is worthless. everyday the purchasing power of Naira keeps depriciating and price of goods keeps raising. also I think people are looking for alternative investment schemes and try as much as possible to avoid depending only on jobs.

They probably know it but they ignore it or not really care about it. It is okay once they learn well first before investing or trading, so they know how to minimize the chance for losses.
