Title: Cryptoroo - A site to view the latest 5-min price changes for most exchanges Post by: cryptoroonet on January 23, 2021, 03:54:15 PM Welcome,
I would like to introduce a project I am currently working on. It is called Cryptoroo and the website can be found at https://www.cryptoroo.net (https://www.cryptoroo.net). Cryptoroo is a platform where you can view the latest 5-minute price changes on trading pairs for most cryptocurrency exchanges. Benefits & Features

Title: Re: Cryptoroo - A site to view the latest 5-min price changes for most exchanges Post by: examplens on January 25, 2021, 11:15:06 PM It can be an interesting tool.
I have some suggestion for you, can you implement options where we can select whether we want the pairs to be listed by gain or by loss? I guess the current ranking by declining gainers, but it will be useful if we can switch list without having to look for the last page. Also, the ability to separate some favourite pairs would be great. I never heard about some tokens on the top of the list. Selecting only BTC or ETH or USDT pairs can be fine. ;) Title: Re: Cryptoroo - A site to view the latest 5-min price changes for most exchanges Post by: cryptoroonet on January 26, 2021, 12:53:11 PM It can be an interesting tool. I also added a filter option for selected assets. Currently, I just listed the top20 from CMC. Unless there are any notices, the site will be useless.
It is best to set a scale for trading or demand and supply volumes, as it is good for predicting the behavior of the currency in the coming minutes. It is also better to add more currencies, especially those that will be listed soon. If I were to suggest, I'd make it straightforward;
1. Make the crypto pairs in bold fonts as it is a title indicator for a certain row. A 500 font-weight is enough. 2. Adding crypto's logo is a cool feature as well, you can fetch it through different API if the API you use doesn't respond with a logo. Coingecko's API have so you might try it if you would add this feature. 3. Can you try making it having a live update? I've tried waiting for 5 mins to see if it will change but it didn't (or it is just my network connection?) 4. Move the cookie prompt at the bottom. 5. And lastly, how about dark mode? Some traders often tend to have their trading environment in a dark mode. Making this tool to have such feature would be a huge plus. I will definitely look into adding the supply and demand volumes as well, as it's like you said it good for predicting the market movement. I am also working on setting up notifications, but more specifically personalised notifications. The dark mode and the images will definitely make it visually more appealing. Quote 3. Can you try making it having a live update? I've tried waiting for 5 mins to see if it will change but it didn't (or it is just my network connection?) That is one thing I am currently working on because at the moment you have to manually refresh the page and that is NOT ideal. I am also working on notifications, but more specifically personalised notifications which I should be able to implement in the next several days. - It didn't even load when I used VPN [regardless of the server locations]. Quote Error 524 A Timeout Occurred Update: Thanks for letting me know. The server was a bit overloaded because I was doing some maintenance and then a reboot. The main issue is that it needs a bit of an upgrade lol. It seems better now after the reboot. You're very welcome. I would like to confirm that the reported issue is fixed now but when using the search field for a certain pair, it no longer shows any result [like it used to]...Quote No data available in table Title: Re: Cryptoroo - A site to view the latest 5-min price changes for most exchanges Post by: cryptoroonet on January 29, 2021, 07:11:17 AM Not sure what's causing your website to not load [it did for a sec, but as soon as I tried using the filters, everything stopped working], and now I'm getting the following error: - It didn't even load when I used VPN [regardless of the server locations]. I don't think it's a server slow, but scripts that should be run when calling the domain. Your server has a solid time response on 1000 packages Code: Pinging cryptoroo.net [172.67.196.202] with 1000 bytes of data: Title: Re: Cryptoroo - A site to view the latest 5-min price changes for most exchanges Post by: cryptoroonet on February 08, 2021, 10:40:12 AM Oh, your website is more than very slow. it takes almost a minute to load any page. I didn't think about that before I posted the update here :( It should be ok in the next 30-40min. Title: Re: Cryptoroo - A site to view the latest 5-min price changes for most exchanges Post by: cryptoroonet on February 08, 2021, 01:29:31 PM your site still running slow. I apologize, as I am not experiencing the speed issues at the moment. I will however do some more testing from different locations tomorrow. I want to do trading orders. Can the user add API and start executing orders using the site? Or implement trading strategies automatically using bots? No, at the moment the site only provides the information and direct links to the exchanges for that specific trading pair (very basic at the moment). There is a lot of red tape with regards to executing orders etc, so that's something I will look at in the future. Implementing trading strategies is definitely something to look at in the near future. Can you enable the option to register using a key or code instead of using Twitter and Facebook? You will enter a code like the private key and then you will be able to access your account. Yes, that is a good idea. Thanks. Do you sell ads? Not currently, but I will start selling as soon as the site is worthy enough and starts generating enough traffic to warrant ads. |
