I am an Ethereum fan and I also invest in Ethereum, but I saw Polkadot price increase very high and now Polkadot is in the top 5 on coinmarketcap, so in your opinion in the next 7 days, which price will increase very high? Ethereum or Polkadot?

if I personally would definitely choose Ethereum ;D

I always like eth because it has large scale of potentially to increase in price

Polkadot has been in the first 4 since ripple has dropped in value due to SEC lawsuit. While the first three are bitcoin, ether and tether.

With what I am thinking about the next 7 days, hopefully there can be bullback, this are not time to invest.

With the current price and volatility of these two, ofc, it's ethereum. But why choose between them? Is there an option to choose them both? Dot has potentials considering it's just new but you can see it's now on #4 on cmc.

While you have ethereum it's a good and better choice if you also have DOT while its value is still at 17$ 

Voted for ethereum, i do believe if the pump that happened with polkadot just a short term pump and it will be going down again very soon. This time ethereum gets 7% pump and that's the biggest gainers among top 10 CMC.
I will not vote for POLKA consider that's a hyped coin. We can see that the majority of new developers are still picking ethereum as their main choice

of course I will definitely choose Ethereum, the reason is :
1. Ethereum price has increase higher than Polkadot in the last 7 days and even 24 hours (Ethereum price increased in the last 24 hours by 8.33% and Polkadot by 1.73%), so it proves that the price of Ethereum is more likely to increase for now;
2. if in the next 7 days the price of Ethereum can reach its ATH price, then of course the price of Ethereum will increase by more than 7.6% from the current price and that would make Ethereum price increase higher than Polkadot price;
3. Ethereum Dominance has risen higher than Polkadot Dominance, so that makes me believe if the price of Ethereum will definitely increase higher than the price of Polkadot.

Polkadot seems has reaching new ATH right now so there'll be a correction soon, there's no cryptocurrency will go bullish everytime.

Ethereum are in good situation since the price aren't that high and low, so it'll have more potentially to increase more on the next 7 days.

I trust old gem Ethereum its been tested several times so I would choose Ethereum on Polkadot even Polkadot is a new coin but has good potential and we should not doubt Polkadot too. If we compare both I will buy Ethereum because Ethereum has strong community behind to support.

Of course, Ethereum is now in a better position than Polkadot. Ethereum is currently undergoing an upgrade and it is expected that this coin will completely transform and its price will be much higher than it is now.
However, Polkadot has a very interesting new technology and this token is very promising. I think that some of the funds can simply be invested in Polkadot.

We're both an Ethereum fan and holding some in my wallet. As part of the strategy of diversification, I think it's good for you to invest on it if you see the potential on it. Well, I think the basis and ranking speaks for itself because the rank that it was before is quite far from where it is today. But to know if the price will increase for the next days, we'll never know as it it's volatile and just like the questions we always answer for the same question if it will go high or down, no one has the correct answer on it.

Dot is a new coins while ethreum is an old coins that long running and tested the price many times. I also don't know why dot is in a hurry to get to the top when they also know they are not proving anything here and suddenly went to the top 10 and now top 4 without any valid reasons to be there. It will crash when the dedi hype is over this one is just popular right now because they don't still experience any problem and many newbie in crypto thinks it is gold investment for them to enter in today's price.

I like both, DOT is also increasing in price and have been showing an interesting chart for a few days now and ETH hitting that new ATH definitely did us a favor. But choosing between them is impossible for me, I believe they're both showing their best right now, when isn't even altseason yet, gotta watch them play the game well.

Seeing btc right now https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT I feel like there will still be one last upward movement for it before a massive correction that will open the door for the altseason, then I am positive ETH and DOT will even perform great, today's performance wasn't their best yet.

I will still choose Ethereum, if SEC have bounced on XRP I believe that position won't be lost to Polkadot, but investment wise I'd prefer to invest on both projects because there is assurance that their value will increase

Its glad to see you are on eth side but i have voted for Polkadot .I think the momentum to the uptrend for Polkadot is more strong than eth and make me sense to vote for Polkadot for the upcoming 7days it's price could increase than Eth .We need to remind always market is an uncertain place anything can happen here we can just predict it.

Can't vote because I don't see 'all of the above' tab available for click, there is no way I would choose one and leave the other behind, these two coins are GEMs and the only different is one is old and one is new, all eye will surely be targeting Polkadot more because it's still cheaper and new but at the same time nothing is going to stop Ethereum either

I will choose Ethereum whereas Polkadot has shown a massive growth i'm impressed with it but ethereum is the 2nd most cryptocurrency which is gaining too much attention like bitcoin, i may change my views in future but currently i will go with ethereum...

Etheruem is still doing well to me although with some little draw back which also affected most altcoins. This is showing etheruem being the leader of altcoins. The coming week if it will be bull will start also from etheruem, so I choose it.

The problem is SEC keeps continue the legal suit against XRP. Polkadot is getting hyped to the latest update.
I think you should pick the one from the both. It's clearly stated by OP if you must have chosen one from both of smartcontract platforms. I will still choose ethereum caused by it already proven to be used to develop various useful product.

Are these two coins competing in the same space? As in same type of project?

It may not come to be, but If it does and any alts surpass Bitcoin on the price list, demand, market cap and more, I don't think I will shift my allegiance from Bitcoin to it, I find confidence in what I believe in, this should not stop diversity, so If I where an ETH person, I won't baggage out my ethereum for this new-alts but I with pin focus/an eye on it.

It's good to join in hype but make sure to monitor it and release when the hype is over like what happens in some DeFi projects last year, but in terms of long term investment it would rather be better to have ethereum which been used and tested in time even it experience too much dump or overhyped. It will all depends on how we will be able to monitor it.

You can clearly saw in a previous days that polkadot come to top of coinmarketmap for a first time while ethereum is in one of those whose continueously take his place in the top of coinmarketcap before bitcoin.
So now its depend on you to choose continueously toper or other

I would choose Polkadot over Ethereum because it's cheap and it's a top altcoin too, there is enough chances that you would make more ROO from Polkadot than Ethereum, Polkadot is been target because of its amazing utilities and many projects are running to Polkadot too, it's only a matter of time.

Why not both? those 2 follows Bitcoin price anyway. Once Bitcoin pumps, most top altcoins will pump too, though the price increase depends on the better coin (which is ETH in my opinion). Nonetheless, if you're only looking with an investors perspective, just spread your investment into different coin since they are both good in their own way.

I am forced to choose one of two?
I mean markets, crypto markets in general, during these days seems a bit "depressed" and I am not surprised about another bear run. I will wait a bit and trying to maximize my investment.
Personally I don't have any hint about the two coins but I think it's something valuable even a split 50%-50% of the resources.

I did say I think am the only one that who's not really into this polkadot coin, I mean the whole crypto community is talking about it and some even saying it's the new Ethereum killer, meanwhile I don't even know or feel like knowing what the project is all about, but all the same, if I should vote, I will vote for my dear vitalik, Ethereum is a never dieing coin and I think it will increase more than polkadot in the next 7 days.

I have always been a fan of Ethereum but as I have seen the capability of Polkadot, I have just made a decision of investing in it as well. I could feel that it's good for a long term hold. I'm still searching more about it and I'm still learning about its possible movements. I guess we don't really have to choose one because both are worth investing in.

Most altcoins seem to be moving up, if you are just to pick one, it should be ETH although it wouldn't hurt having DOT in your portfolio. I have a fair amount I guess I'm earning with DOT as I'm just holding it, not even staking.  I'm guessing OP would be in the futures market that he asked which one in the next 7 days, need to learn the skills to read chart in that case.

Money wise since we are already seeing the uptrend movement of Polkadot, the chance of folding more times than ETH is very possible.

ETH already break the last time high and now experiencing corrections, while in the other side Polka just hit ATH few days ago and still

have a big chance to break that and record another new ATH.

It doesn't matter to me who will give the biggest profit in this week. I believe that in the coming years polcadot will cost a hundred dollars. So now I'm more sympathetic to the polcadot...

Both altcoins are very popular, of course more people support Ethereum, but time will pass and perhaps Polkadot will be able to catch up with Ethereum or even overtake, just need more time and judging by how Polkadot develops, I think this can really happen, but it is hard to say which of these altcoins will increase in price the most in the coming days, perhaps Polkadot, because Polkadot has been growing very much in price lately and I think Ethereum will grow in price more when will be next news about Ethereum 2.0 development.

I think both of these coins will continue to grow this year. My opinion is that the bull run for bitcoin is not over yet and we'll see a big cleansing where capital continues to flow from shitcoins to a few more viable projects.

I'm not going to bu Polkadot since I'm already heavily invested in BTC and ETH but if you already have both of these and still some fiat left you can go with it. There's a small chance that we'lll go into a bear market from here but it's really too small to miss out on the opportunity to make another 200%.

7 days is very small time frame for such predictions but im obviously very bullish about ethereum price considering the momentum it is showing plus the fundamentals on the other hand polkadot is also an extremely awesome project that has high potential for growth.

we can't avoid that Ethereum is still popular than Polkadot, Polkadot is indeed making a surprise 2020-2021,
because the competition for Polkadot and Ethereum is increasingly being highlighted,
even many influencers on YouTube and Twitter have stated that Polkadot is a rival to Ethereum and there may be an opportunity to replace Etherum ,

Though DOT has promising features like low fees, yet, they need to at least achieve half the popularity of eth platform. They are still in the early stage and maybe if projects discover their advantages over eth, DOT will be used. But for now, I will choose eth. They still have active development, so their bottlenecks may be soon rectified by the eth team.

In terms of price growth, there is a lot of room on Polkadot Market since ETH price had reached $1k already.  Definitely, when it comes to price explosion, I would go for Polkadot in terms of  having a greater ROI in the long run.  Imagine, comparing a market price growth possibility with barely $19 a piece against $1k.

It's ethereum and polkadot has been increasing a lot and it has entered the stressful zone that will not let the price to go up even higher without trying to build another strong support first.
I do believe we will see that massive gain in ethereum in the next days.
DOT is good but this time it's overvalued. Ethereum is the best pick for next week.

Agree, for the long term polkadot could be good for the top coin competition, but if you want to invest, its better to wait until the hype calmdown and the price become dipper. But for 7 days prediction, i will choose Ethereum over Polkadot.

ETH will always be the best option for me but since there’s a lot of good project in the market, we should not stick all the time to ETH so for me, I’ll buy both of them because Polkadot is also a great project so in order for me to maximize on making profit, I have to grab more. In this market, we should always diversify and yes we have to hold good coins as well.

For now people are not going to nice polkadot and before they do the price would have left them just like ETH did. I believe polkadot will gain more price increase than polkadot.
