I have a shell like this without the art, I bought it for like 20 bucks or so. Of course I am not an art professional, but I dont think it's worth that amount of money. Precisely what I was thinking, I remember this being a standard thingy in the houses of the elderly. Of course it was not engraved with Authentic Middle Eastern Arabic biblical calligraphy kufic art, but with other local art. The price varies from 5 USD to 400 USD. |
