maybe you are following all the madness that is happening in the world of NFTs and CryptoArt, after all, we already have some historical landmarks such as the  Beeple's everydays worth more than $ 6 million (https://cryptoart.io/artist/beeple),  auctions of Nifty Gateway ending in a few seconds (damn bots) and breaking records  (https://news.bitcoin.com/non-fungible-digital-artwork-sale-shatters-records-picassos-bull-nft-sells-for-55k/) and access to digital art being democratized right before our eyes.

some may think it is simply a .png or .jpg file on the blockchain that you could print and copy at will, but attentive eyes know that it's much more than that (https://opensea.io/blog/guides/non-fungible-tokens/), what is happening is a revolution on Art ownership and distribution right under our noses.

Thinking about bringing more visibility to artists in Brazil (and having fun along the way) I created MaFriends.
Over the next few months I intend to launch several new works on it, and maybe some Bitcointalk already seen before.

Just to comment because I found the art really interesting but I have a question and I hope this is the right place to ask (if not I apologize).

1. What is the rights to the art if we buy the NFT? Someone told me the NFT does not even give you ownership rights to the art itself,,, is this true and if so then what is the point?
2. You mentioned to memorialize something on blockchain. Could you explain how I can memorialize for example an event? Does it need to be owned by me?

there's no problem at all to ask here.

1. I've seen other NFT artists selling the rights of the art itself, to be used even commercially in that case, but this is not the general rule, in our case, as an example people don't have the right to use it commecially, the NFT gives you the ownership of the piece, just like if you bought a real paint from an artist, you can read more on that here:
