Because it's called BITCOINtalk not BITCOINTALKtalk?

You really don't need to create so many altcoins for nothing.

There is nothing wrong with using Bitcoin on a Bitcoin forum. This nonsense of needing a separate coin for every little fart is just that - nonsense. Bitcoin works fine.

Maybe BF-Fi do not know this forum is Bitcoin forum and was created to provide help for people that are using bitcoin. Bitcoin led to the creation of this forum, Bitcointalk and Bitcoin was even created by the same person, Satoshi Nakamoto. I hope as I mention his name he will be able to understand. I do not just get the question, that Bitcoin forum in which their official coin is Bitcoin should create a coin? When we have bitcoin already, and any other coin is an altcoin, not bitcoin.

BF-Fi may bring this suggestion because of cryptotalk.org, they were paying bitcoin before per post, but later created their own coin. Although, they still pay Bitcoin now but in a way almost all member will not earn it, while their coin which is although a token called talk token was released last year at 0.00000180 btc but its value has dropped now to 0.00000012 btc in just two months and some days. Which makes members not to profit from the forum again.

No coin will be created that will be like bitcoin, while this forum is a Bitcoin forum, to learn, help and contribute about how we can hold and use our bitcoin safetly. Although, there are other boards, but Bitcoin is the reason behind this forum, and it is our official coin. I hope BF-Fi well understood that now.

Silly question and I am sure we don't need one more altcoin just for buying copper membership or for paying evil fees on bitcointalk forum.
If you don't want to use Bitcoin for whatever reasons, then you also have option to use privacy coin Grin and maybe pay less transaction fees, but Bitcoin will always be preferred choice here.

Go to the bottom of page and you will see for yourself:

You can also pay via grin.

Why they should? This forum is about Bitcoin and I think it wouldn't make much sense to create new token. It would look a bit strange. And in general, I don't think that every website should have it's own token.

If you know the history of a person named @Satoshi Nakamoto, then you are familiar with the Bitcointalk coin.

• This forum was founded by……!
• Bitcoin was founded / created by.....!

Meaning: before other coins appeared in the crypto world, the Bitcointalk Forum was the first to create coins, only those of you who didn't realize it.

Nowadays it seems that every little thing that breathes technology has it's own coin. Truth to be told, it was from this precise forum that emerged the first coin that would change everything. I'm sure you know it's name ;)

So yeah, we don't really need to endorse any particular coin or really create a new coin simply because we already, as a community, gave the world something that had a tremendous impact (and it's still on its early stages). The future is bright for BTC and I'm sure that we are yet to see advancements regarding the heights that the coin itself can achieve!

So why can't we introduce our own coin? Haven't we already turned the world upside down with the work from Mr. Satoshi? We don't need to have more "coins" in this world, we just have to try our best to improve the ones that already exist :)

Satoshi started this forum and you know he also created the BTC, so why create new coin when there is no problem with BTC to begin with?

satoshi - the founder of bitcoin & the forum left the community for so long.

The forum is not created for marketing purpose or financial interest. It is for idea exchanges and discussions about bitcoin, initially and theymos want it to be like that. He does not want to commercialize the forum.

The purpose of the forum

This forum exists to provide a platform for the free (but ordered) exchange of ideas. If you have an idea to express, then it is probably possible to do it here as long as you follow the rules.

It makes sense to give people option to buy the bitcointalk forum's Copper membership by using bitcoin.

Coins, but collectible coins and they are not close to your idea.
  • Bitcointalk.org collectible coin? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5111005.0)
  • Bitcointalk 10 Year anniversary coin/token? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148694)

Easy? I can't imagine how easy holding 100 different coin/token for 100 usage, such as
1. Bitcointalk token to buy copper membership
2. Dogecoin to tip people who make funny meme
3. VideoCoin to donate youtuber
4. BAT token to donate website i visit
5. etc.

Have i mentioned i swap coin/token everyday? :P

Why not? Because not literally everything is going to need a separate token. Heard of project concepts like “cryptocurrency for dentists” or something? Yea, totally totally pointless and unnecessary.

Man, this seems to me like asking why the Pope can't introduce his new God :D

I am not a maxi myself, and I think that new coins for specific projects can be helpful in terms of innovation if the project needs it or it makes it more efficient if it cannot be achieved with Bitcoin. But it is not definitely the case here and, again, it seems to me like a little sacrilege if it was implemented.

If Satoshi raised his head...
