Hey,

Just wondering what people think about the current price of Ethereum and Bitcoin? I wanted to buy some more of each but obviously the price is quite high - record highs in fact! Are we expecting for another dip i.e a better time to invest or will it keep rising?

I know this is a question of speculation but if anyone has views/opinions/research I would love to hear your thoughts.

Surely there will be a dump on btc and eth or any other cryptos because crpyots never increased forever, the dump and bump cycle follows it means you should wait if you don't want the btc to this price. However no one can predict what will be the dump occurs, it may happen in the next day or after months so if you are willing to wait then just wait to buy the dip.

As far as i know when bitcoin already touched another ATH and it will be dipping again. I call this as a small correction. Dude, if you have been watching the bitcoin market and you could even buy bitcoin on 40k rate a few weeks ago. That means the correction will be coming soon but there's no ETA about that.
You should be patient and never try to put yourself in to the big risk by taking bitcoin and ethereum at the peak price.
The correction may come again soon. Patient is the key.

There will be nobody that can tell if it's going to have a dip later or another set of pump. But here's the thing, this question has been asked for so many times and those times were the different prices of bitcoin and ethereum. Now, if you think that you are good waiting for it to pump and you're good buying at this price, you do it before you see it pump again and regrets of not buying it. But you also have a choice that you can wait for a dip before buying.

At the moment Bitcoin and ETH are doing very well, but I think the market will have a small correction.

This is a very interesting question to answer, now looking on the possible dip expectations I don't think so since the recent market still got an intense rising behavior. However, if you really need to buy while market was at safer state of increasing trend; then don't ignore every market changes. Price will have dip but when and from which top?

If you believe in the future of Bitcoin or Ethereum, it means you believe BTC or ETH will have higher price, why do you not invest now? Hesitate too much, ask a lot of questions, where and when, you will end with only observe the market. Observe rise, dips and miss all opportunities from the market.

Bitcoin is rising again and it won't stop if it won't rise more than 15% and you can not wait for any dip from BTC if it won't rise more than 15% from $59k.

Expectations this time could be $65k, and like the waves where bitcoin hits the new ATH, i believe the market will have a sharp correction as before. However, the current trend is bullish, i believe that by the end of the year bitcoin can surpass the $100k mark. For ETH there will be much better news, and it could completely end this year with prices above $5k.

Your question seems difficult to answer. But I rather buy now which is a breakout above the previous all-time-high and currently no resistance from the previous price.

For me in this situation if I have USD I will probably buy myself btc and eth. They are considered almost representative of the whole market, the current trend has not shown any signs of a sharp decline, so as long as you have confidence in it. The situation is remarkably showing the signs that we need to invest now before it's too late. Yes both are top currencies in the market and known in crypto world that's why many traders invest in it because as we can see, the price of bitcoin now became high same as the price of ethereum, though the price is not that totally the same but it shows movement that it goes up which is really good to invest.

Currently, both are still the first choice to invest money when entering this market. ^ That is how a crypto investment works, there is always a risk if you don't know the perfect timing of buying. Both ETH and BTC are good for investment, if you don't know when to jump in, prefer yourself in a long process of holding your crypto asset because we don't know after buying it will down or up the price, no one really knows. You can also split your fund into two, the bigger percentage is on BTC and the less is on ETH which is all of these you can afford.

Absolutely, A perfect time to jump in. Bitcoin made some insane move in the meantime, probably too high to get in. Huge gains being made all over the market in the recent time, but ETH still you get in reasonable price.

Long before $60k I bought below that because I know a real bullish will come but when you ask now when it reaches a new ATH of course we have sold it and it's hard to say why investing now is basically what we have to know when to invest On appeal having to look at other people's opinions that are different I am sure there will be a headache to see it.

In my opinion I don't know if bitcoin and ethereum can increase further this time. Both were reaching the all time high so I think it is risky to invest now but if you planning to hold for long term like 2 or 5 years then maybe this is the right time to invest.

it's not too high as long as you are believing if bitcoin could touch another ATH again. When bitcoin got dumped last week and people were also thinking the same like you if that could be a very bad decision to get in consider bitcoin was still trading at the peak price but they were wrong about that. Why there are people who keeps posting like this as if they don't know or didn't buy it when the price is not yet rising? Last year on November you guys have a great time to buy since in mid December Bitcoin and the rest of altcoins is in bullish up until now, imagine if you did invest already during that time?

I don't think a newbie would ask something like this as if they do understand the whole concept of Bitcoin and Ethereum, I'm sure they would go straight to invest them before it starting to pump.

The only way you could buy the dip is to wait actually that's just the only way since no one could tell what will happen in the future. FUD and FOMO is just somewhere in the corner it will going to happen soon.

Both buying in the high price and wait for the dip is based on your trading strategy, if you want to try riding the pump wave, its maybe not too late to get in to the market.
But if you dont confident enough about that, better to wait the dip for safer entry.

Strategies have to be backed up by such analysis, so you can confidently hold or wait for the price dump and you wont get trap on top. Corrections is possible since the market pump continuously over the past months, so if you do buy today make sure that you are prepared for the outcome of that action, no one can really predict the market trend its all about risk.

Ofcourse strategies that i mean also include analysis. Actually when you try to ride the wave, you never know what the top meaning is, since the last resistance already surpassed and the market keep rising.
So that kind strategy ofcourse will be risky, but for professional one, its really fun also easy methode to gain the profit.

I believe that Ethereum and Bitcoin will grow throughout 2021, since 2021 is the last year in the next cycle of the crypto market development. The history shows that in the last year of each cycle, the price of many cryptocurrencies reached new peaks. Why is it "needed"? Just because people want to buy? Bitcoin price doesn't drop down so that others could buy cheap, that is not the reason, it drops because people think it will go down, they get out fearing they will lose money. Or there are bigger whales who just take their money out of bitcoin, those are the reasons.

Nobody just says "I bought bitcoin from 10k and now it is 60k, let me sell some so that others can buy from cheap price and profit as well", nobody helps you earn money easily. Sure there could be some people who are waiting for the price to drop in order to make a profit but that doesn't mean that people who own bitcoin will be willing to let it go that easily. At the end of the day we need to realize that bitcoin price could drop, but for the right reason at the right time, that is why I think it should be bought even at these prices.

You can still have the chance to purchase bitcoin at this current pricr, but you must be careful in managing the funds that you have. Trading using daily method might leads us to losses, that's why it needs skills and practice. Maybe having small amount of dollars is better when trading eth and bitcoin this time.

How long did you know bitcoin and ETH?

If you just know then avoid to buy it, asking your concern to random people to make your decision is really bad thing to do, although you buy bitcoin that I think is the safe place for investment, but it still the bad thing.

Unless, you already know how bitcoin and ethereum market and their price movement then you can buy it now. Or you can make your own analyst, you can read some books about technical analyst, draw the chart and read some information, that is a good thing to do. You will not ask anymore about the movement price if you already know how the technical analyst/fundamental analyst work.

If you really wanna buy BTC & ETH, just buy it, don't wait too long and regret after BTC hit $100k and ETH hit $5k.
because the cycle keep happening, waiting until the price going down, but the fact is the price keep going up and you never buy, then regret come after.
so yeah, in my opinion, even the price of BTC & ETH is quite expensive these days, just stay positive and just buy in the current prices.

Waiting for dip is a good strategy amd i believe that you know it based on your statement, the continuous rising of the bitcoin and ethereum price will really make investors crazy, it is really difficult to decide this time, in my part i will choose to wait than taking the risk of buying in a very high price, because i believe that after the rising of the price there is always an opposite maybe it will fall, we just dont know that is why we need to be careful.

My perspective has changed from last year and now prices is high no doubt but thinking that what if it can cross 5-digit mark and enters in 6-digit mark then the current prices will be considered as a cheap. So, during the falls it is a good time where I start investing n the good coins and as and when required money sell it out or stay invested for longer duration.

The situation changes day by day, but in my opinion, today's correction is the last one at around $50k - $60k level. The market and investors are still behaving very bullish, there is no bad news in the market, so the indications are that prices should only go up.

I think both Bitcoin and Ethereum are in a good state, Bitcoin currently is having small corrections and Ethereum is kind of steady from it’s current value; it’s not dropping its value and is not going for a new ATH too. So if you are planning on investing at its current price now and you don’t have that much fiat money with you, I’d rather not buy yet if you are afraid of the risk but if it’s for long term hodl then I’d probably buy half and half for both coins and just hodl for a certain period of time.

There will surely be a massive correction because that's how the market moves but the market is still in the bullish state so we can't say when the correction will occur. Just take advantage of small corrections that happen each day. The market is really unpredictable and we can't even say when the dip will happen because the price of BTC usually strikes 50k and higher.

I do not get why people always stay too late and fear that they are too late and become too late by fearing being too late. I know that sounds like a weird sentence but it is perfectly correct :D; All jokes aside people were afraid that 20k was a lot and waited, then at 30k they said it is too high, at 40k.. well you get the idea, people are away afraid that the price is too high.

You know whats weird? In 2017 when we reached peak, the price was nearly 20k, for arguments sake let's say 20k flat, we are now 3x above that, what could you buy that would have made 3x profit in a bit over 3 years? It hasn't been even 3.5 years yet, just few months more. That is why investing into bitcoin even at the top will profit you, 60k could easily become 180k if you can wait, all it takes is just some more bull run, maybe now, maybe in a year maybe in 2 years but it will happen for sure.

Bitcoin owners never want to sell bitcoin. I always regretted it whenever I sold it and I sold cheap. Bitcoin will always be a store of value, and since it is limited in number, we will always sell it cheaply whenever we sell it.
Many networks have been developed as a competitor to ethereum and better ones will be developed.Bitcoin will always be on top, but I can't use the same phrase for ethereum.

Not sure to buy more for both right now because of the high price, instead of buying Bitcoin or Ethereum why not buy another crypto which still has a low price but has good potential in the future. But if you are sure to keep buying Bitcoin or Ethereum then please do it carefully, because with this high price it is very likely that a big decline will occur in the near future or sometime in the future. It is about research on your own and not following others because if you don't have your own research then of course it will threaten your investment.

If you have a lot of extra money, I suggest to buy some of bitcoin as well as ethereum and I believe 2 to 3 years from now it will increase tremendously as long as you can hold it as much as possible. It won't be so easy for bitcoin to go to the bottom again. Bitcoin already dumped a few times since the pump due to the big sell by the whales but it can grow up again steadily and that's given a very strong reason if this time with backed by the institutional investors and bitcoin can't even resist from any dump that created by the whales or FUD from the various big names that have a correlation with bankers.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are very profitable investments for every investor for a long time. I do not agree with this. If you had low funds last year and bought bitcoin you would have made 10x already, how is that for long term? Just one year and a 10x return. All the speculations here has no guarantee that it will happen, you either wait for the drip to happen or you can buy now and hope that it will start to take off after you bought, as long as you've invested what you can afford to lose, there's no need to worry, you have to trust the market, we are in a bullish and there's a good chance for profit.

I fully support your opinion and I am sure that the current cryptocurrency market will not follow the 2017 scenario. I repeatedly meet similar statements from your opponent. Although he is a YouTuber, I understand that in Crypto anything is possible, and that scenarios that seem crazy can happen, I particularly do not know the trajectory of the YouTuber and Trader, but he has some debatable arguments.

Get on the bull ride with the wave of the moment ethereum and bitcoin and is a massive bull season and it will take a long while before we see price drop from the present all time high. This is a time for the investors with the guts to buy at any price not shaky hands waiting for bear market before jumping onboard.

Though i Believe in that top ranking coins yet since you are talking about the Momentum and the Bullying market then best to look in the brighter side of other coins and not just those 2.

Both having a Huge price increase.

Both coins are rising drastically from the start of this year. So even you didnt buy at cheap price ($3k for btc) but you managed to buy early this year, its quite a good profit already.

We never know the next movement of these coins could be and its risky to engage during high price but what if the price increase further?

Thats why buying at this point is only for investors who have guts to face the future regardless if the price soar higher or drop after you buy.
