Even though an admin has notified on his official channel on Amepay that this is a cheat that scamers are doing, I will share in this thread so that more people know that this is clearly a fake giveaway that has been encountered before several other names.

Now the scamers have targeted Amepay to do the target and here we have to know and stay away from anything like this.

So scammer now don't just use bitcoin, eth and other famous coin to scam people using their fake contest/giveaways but using some shitcoins too.

Imagine how stupid and greedy some people can be. Some of them deserve to learn the hard way that there is no free money I guess.
The actual amount sent to them is actually more than 5 ETH according to ETHplorer (https://ethplorer.io/address/0xc229e7ea370aba3be98c4e32b917f37b09c93a2b)

This is surprising to me and I guess to some of us, these scammers are now changing their method, instead of using popular coin like Bitcoin they are now using altcoins coins, that has a community and with potential and volume in the market, although I don't see huge potential on this coin,
this is not the last that we are going to see this method and developers of other coins should alert their community, they maybe the next target.

Look at this guys the owner of that address didn't only have one fake giveaway since he created more of it, check this since its so interesting find.
I also believe that there are more of this if we research more deeper.

Website https://fusiontokenrewards.com/

And for this one he also use BASAGORA  on his fake giveaway

WEBSITE https://bosagoragiveaway.com/

And I'm sure that many of this will be created, this is a good find so that many people will get a heads up about this scamming method present this days.

Before joining or sending any amount to this kind of stuff, a user needs to make sure that he is in the official site.
We are now seeing that not only bitcoin, or eth or other popular alts are being used as a front to screw gullible users.
And with many newbies going into crypto, these scammers are looking for different tactics to deceive users.

I bet this is going to be the new trend of scamming now, they are going to pick a new coin it could be in their crowdfunding stage, and do a scam giveaway, just like the ones we are seeing about popular personalities and projects, it's up to the developers of those coins that they are going to pick or all-new coins to issue a warning if there is one ongoing, the first one is Amepay, who's going to be next.

Look at now that many altcoins are increasing drastically in the near future. It is also possible that it will become a target for scamers to continue naming existing projects in the crypto market with something new and therefore new tactics will be used as the next step, but we are still there. you have to be careful or verify before doing it, don't even know the site that is being promoted anywhere the scamers spread.
Every effort continues to be made by the scamers especially in a bullish situation like this it is clear they will now make more for beginners to be more confused.

You are right. Scammers always target a trending project for their next scam mission. Now if you keep an eye on it you will see that fake websites using the name of this project are coming online every day. Now that there are a lot of coins whose price has increased a lot and many have missed those projects in order to buy at a low price. By doing this, they are now looking for different ways to get those coins and here they take advantage of such fake websites.

So now it's not just the names Elon Musk and Binance that they use for fake giveaways and altcoins are now running to come back with the fake giveaway they did, I see now only 2 altcoins that have become scamers' tools for their actions and such. In the future, there will be more altcoins that scamers use for fake giveaways, so be careful.

Many bounty hunters have also reported AMEPAY campaign as being scam. To my understanding about scam campaigns, I believe any team or bounty manager that intends not to pay the hunters would have by now closed all the channels through which the hunters can get to them.
AMEpay bounty manager still responds to messages and keeps ensuring the participants of their full payments.
AMEpay has distributed over $2M worths of funds in airdrops and bounty, I doubt the remaining one which is even less than $200k is what they will scam the hunters for.

And the fact that some people which you reported here are trying to use their name to scam people can only mean that the project is a great one. Thanks for bringing this scam attempt to our notice.

You better read on what they are refferring to since this thread is not created to discuss about those pending payment to their bounty hunter, this thread is created for the awareness to the amepay supporter or other investor to not put any amount on the site OP posted so that they will not get scam. If you want to discuss about bounties better go on the proper thread to discuss this issues.

You misinterpreted the topic, its not about the official Amepay but its about scammers using the company name.

There is no such thing as giveaways that require you to pay in order to qualify. Some official telegram channels are always reminding members about the danger of dealing to random people pretending to be part of the team, it is standard procedure for most projects.

Heads up guys they created another fake site so beware on this and always look for the real admins confirmation about those giveaways to avoid scamming.

I'm sure this scammers will do more the same like this so take note the site and avoid this.
