Title: Assassin's Creed Publisher Is Making The Next Generation Of NFT Games
Post by: Imran232 on March 20, 2021, 08:46:11 PM
Gaming giant Ubisoft continues to explore the possibilities of blockchain gaming, from NFTs you can share between games to token taxes for charity.

In brief
  • Game publisher Ubisoft recently released the crypto fantasy soccer game One Shot League with Sorare.
  • The Assassin’s Creed and Just Dance publisher is exploring ways to bring its big franchises to blockchain.

The blockchain gaming world is largely populated by startups built specifically to pioneer the burgeoning industry of crypto games, whether it’s Immutable with card-battler Gods Unchained, Sorare with its popular fantasy soccer platform, or Sky Mavis behind the Pokémon-inspired Axie Infinity.

However, there is one very big exception: Ubisoft, one of the largest traditional game publishers in the world, and the storied brand behind mega-franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Just Dance, and various Tom Clancy-branded shooters. The gaming giant, which has dozens of international studios, first signaled its interest in blockchain technology by unveiling a proof-of-concept prototype called HashCraft, a crypto-infused riff on Minecraft, in 2019.

This would be such a rush for crypto and a win-win situation for the parties concerned. Mainstream adoption is on its way

Especially for the NFT adoption and it's not only assasin's creed but motogp already prepared a game that will be supporting NFT. That would be a very good thing to see that if more and more game developers interested to use NFT features. This could attract more demand in the future

This is a huge news for crypto, NFT is getting more and more famous in crypto that even famous game developers are starting to look at how to integrate their games into the blockchain. When I first started in crypto, most gaming projects I've seen failed to make it to the market,  now NFT based games are having massive attention in the market. I guess huge game developing companies will start being involved in blockchain and crypto because of this.

This looks  great for gamers in the crypto  ecosystem.  As a matter of fact I look this game and I look foward  to the upcoming  development.  I can't  wait to see the whole buzz that it would bring  when it is fully implemented  by the developer.  This is how the modern games should go.

Is this trend having such a great appeal?
Since NFT has become a more popular keyword in this space I feel that the people with the money are in complete control of the game, more precisely they are driving the trend in this market.

What are the unbelievable auctions on NFT products for?
My view of the NFT trend is clear right now, but the streak between hype and potential is slim.

Very interesting they finally become aware that they have to integrate blockchain and Cryptocurrency into their system, they realize that those who gaming who integrate blockchain are new startups and if they come in with their complete system and community, they are likely to succeed, this is adding revenues and popularity to their already popular gaming platform.

Sooner or later, there will be new crypto users from the gaming community. And since gaming community is a multi-billion dollar business, this will have influence in the crypto market. This younger generation will be a good addition to the community as they are not hard to adopt this kind of crypto-related activities. They are already dealing with similar gaming currencies. Now, they can participate in the crypto market as well. We will be seeing a lot more of these NFT-related projects in the next coming months.

Wow Ubisoft is big deal actually. Nft this year will be great trend for all crypto artist and all traders. Some say that these nft are just being used for money making but who knows what adoption can bring this nft into something more convenient in the future. It's not a necessity actually, but considering the role of artist that can yield their experience to make quality and amazing digital print like nft is truly an added value on the economy.

Good development, This is one of the main hooks that blockchain gaming offers rather than traditional gaming experience and makes NFT continue to be famous especially for developers who can integrate games into blockchain and that's a cool inspiration.
The existence of an NFT actually has a good purpose so that there is no forgery, replication or duplication of a digital work of art that continues to develop.

The gaming industry like gambling is a multi-billion dollar industry and it's always been that way since the inception of the internet, this adoption is going to be very huge much bigger than PayPal much bigger than Tesla, and the possibility of Bitcoin going to $150k is not a remote possibility if this materializes, this is something worth following, and something for investors and HOLDERS to think about.

I wonder if they could make some kind of system that connects or identify game with blockchain therefore further minimizing game piracy or even makes game piracy no more.
Though I'm sure there's always people out there who can crack literally anything but this NFT seems really have potential in this sector.

This is awesome, big Assassin's creed fan here! NFTs are starting to become the talk of the town, and games are really starting to revolve around NFTs as the game's in-game items. It's similar to AnRKey which has their game built on Unity (https://anrkeyx.medium.com/building-battle-wave-2323-in-unity-to-bring-you-the-best-gaming-experience-33b5645428e), a gaming engine that is used by the top gaming studios like Nintendo, Sony, Ubisoft, Blizzard, EA, etc.

Things are looking bright with NFT x Games in the blockchain!

I have Tons of concept i on my mind if AC was implemented to NFT and really glad Ubisoft start experimenting and implementing it! Thanks for sharing this one mate!

What a great news for gamers, NFT gaming is getting really popular these days. Very soon many big companies will be joining the crypto field and it is a great win for the crypto space.
It's not even getting more popular but it will become even bigger than before as there are lots of major companies have already tried to create their own NFT.

In general, I am not surprised that the gaming industry is also joining this trend, such companies will not miss the opportunity to earn money and recognition,if gamers are interested in it, then why not.

They are just following the hype of NFT's in the market and being major game publisher Ubisoft also want to enter this market and every gamer would be willing to spend millions to have digital ownership of Assassin's creed as NFT.Now I am not surprised any more because people are now selling weird things as NFT in the current popularity and still getting buyer for them.Anything can happen if it is viral, people will follow the trend irrespective of its utility in future.

obviously everyone is trying to enter a current and winning business such as NFTs, so even the large companies that produce video games and and similar, i hope that ubisoft will be able to make captivating games on the blockchain and beautiful NFT cards
Which is really good i suppose, On current NFT Trends some large companies especially from gaming industry will try to experimenting and implement on their Products especially VIdeo Game, Current Example was Ubisoft which is one of the biggest Large Companies on gaming Industry and this was really good for blockchain market. It's about time until we can see other Companies like Nintendo, Rockstar, Bethesda, etc entering Blockchain market through the NFT.

Gaming giant Ubisoft continues to explore the possibilities of blockchain gaming, from NFTs you can share between games to token taxes for charity.
So that means you can rent share and purchase second hand games with the help of blockchain or you can own in game things and then you can trade them later. I am yet to understand how it will succeed but i have heard about in games sales for huge amounts and the NFT can help them in that aspect and these gaming companies can develop things that can be interesting.

I think it would make it possible for them to incorporate blockchain items across multiple games, from my understanding, then you may trade and sell these on the marketplace. Currently its already being done by Enjin and Axie Infinity but if Ubisoft is able to develop it more then that would be really great. NFTs have very big potential and I hope that more developers jump into this and just doesn't become hype that will eventually die down. As of now, its pretty trendy with the risk of bubbling out.

There's a lot of crypto gamers here in this market so this can be a great adoption and a perfect timing now that NFT are booming. I can't wait to see the result of this adoption, and can't wait to play the good games and earn money at the same time. This will probably attract players, and hopefully more game creators will look into this market as well.

I recently purchased their latest release of Assassin's Creed. The Viking-related storyline, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's a pretty fun game, and they have kept updating most of the content with bug-related stuff and improving it. I hope they would allow some trading system or collectible with the game itself. With rare finds that possibly lead to a trading space to be acquired or something and profit.

It wouldn't be a long time when they release something valuable to different players and the opportunity to earn while playing is the best IMO.

Wish they could develop a game were mining is infused. Or a Role playing game which the drops are crypto currencies. Or some game that if you've reach a minimum playtime rewards you with crypto currencies. At least gamers could play at the same time gain valuable cryptos. But I guess it's almost impossible because, whenever I tried playing high resolution games and running my miner at the same time it crashes or a lag occurs.
