Title: Trezor 1001 Games
Post by: dkbit98 on April 01, 2021, 02:15:15 PM
Theymos had his April Fool's day surprise this year like always, but Trezor also had their share of fun posting that they are releasing games firmware update with Snakes, Tetris, Doom and other games.

They even released a video, made a blog post (https://blog.trezor.io/1001-games-new-console-firmware-for-the-trezor-model-one-5b9438a07fc6) and tweet (https://twitter.com/Trezor/status/1377572709199187970) about it, but funny thing after reading comments is that some people believe this is true :)

Should we expect something similar from ledger now?

I suspect that there would be quite a large number of people who would see no humour in Ledger trying to be "funny" or "clever" give what has happened in the last 12 months.

I'm still surprised by the number of people who will so readily accept any information delivered on April 1st... :-\ Mind you... I'm still surprised that there are people who will quite happily type their 12/24 word seed mnemonics into any old website or app that asks for them ::)

Or they could have taken it one step further and claimed that their hidden database of recovery phrases was also penetrated and all user funds are up for grabs.

I am not really considering that crypto is still a baby growing up. Credit cards have been around for over 50 years and some people still don't understand that you shouldn't upload pictures of your newly arrived card on social media. ::) We still have a long way to go...

A snake game on Trezor would actually be a great idea and it wouldn't be so hard to program.
