But I'm very new this coin market. I need advice from experienced people. Because I'm so confused  ???

$16,000 means you have a good capital, can be a big capital in some nations, to begin.

My reminders for you

• If you are new in crypto market, only hold or if you want to trade, trade with Spot trading only.
• Leverage trading will kill you (liquidation) when you are not understand the market and leverage trading

There are thousands of coins in the coinmarketcap. Most of the top 100 projects are SCAMs. How to make money in this market if you are new?
IMO, the best coin even for newbies and veterans is Bitcoin.

The first coin I bought was bitcoin. A few months later I was buying alts... I ended up losing a few bucks, making some more.... but now I am a bitcoin maximalist. There is no need to risk money in shitcoins, while bitcoin is doing 100% every few months. It has also solid fundamentals, solid use cases. Fully decentralized (no other is).

just buy and hold it.

Buying altcoin only works when you are early investors that had gone thru DYOR to the project. For instance, if you have forseen that VET will go up this way up in the future then you must have invested more than 30% of your capital in it while its less than a cent and waited a long time for it to become this big. But if you are not fond of DYOR, just get into BTC as its safer. But all of them needed waiting if you are not going to trade.

If you're asking us where to invest your money, maybe don't invest. Investing is for those who are willing to spend a good chunk of their time into doing research, instead of relying on other people's picks/opinions.

I hope your account was not created to shill something. Anyway, if you're serious with your question, make sure first that you are not going to need this money anytime soon. If this is an extra you are willing to lose, familiar yourself with Bitcoin. It is the first coin you need to know when getting into crypto. Forget about Student Coin. Forget about Spade Coin. Forget all them shitcoins. At least for now while you are a newbie. You can play with them later. If I were in your shoes, I'd invest in no other coin but Bitcoin.

I recommend you to buy xrp, doge, and trx right now because the trend is good. Don't be confuse, let the asset grow for years despite of fluctuations because most popular coins right now was backed up by whales. Sometimes we tend to panic, but always try to learn managing it, and you won't notice all efforts will be rewarded.

I can suggest you only the major coins as you are a part of newcomers and based on your post and you have no knowledge about crypto.

1. Binance
2. Ethereum
3. DOT or XRP but i think XRP potentially to reach another ATH again. Do your own research and start to learn more about crypto before you wanna try to put your money in crypto.
Crypto is a high risk high return.
DYOR is a must. You must not rush to invest in crypto.

Seriously, you shouldn't take any financial advice from some stranger, even CZ in his tweet keep giving disclaimer that his tweet which discuss about the price of this specific coin is not a financial advice because the risk is always there and trust me you gonna regret hard

But, still I gonna mention those 3 coins that have futures and all of them are : BTC, ETH, & BNB. what else do you think have brighter future than them while relatively low in risk? I guess very few.

Do not invest into any altcoins but just invest all your money into bitcoins and I am sure you will get chances to multiply your $16k into at least 2x. If you are lucky then you may get up to 5x returns in next 6 to 7 months of holding. If you are too keen to invest into some of altcoins then you may go for ETH/BNB/LTC not beyond that. Because, altcoins may get you good profits but not certainly whereas bitcoin got almost 99% assured to get you quick profits in this year.

If you ask the same question by next year then I will recommend you the same thing but your holding period will be long than the above one. Yes, bitcoin will stay continuous growth phase but we need to be patience to enjoy accordingly. Otherwise we may lose money like investing in unknown altcoins. 

If you have enough money, there's nothing wrong with trying your luck by investing in a few altcoins that you really believe will be useful for you in the future, listening to other people's advice is a good thing but prioritize you to believe in yourself, because of your own choice. yourself more than you have to listen to other people because every risk is your own responsibility, however, I will provide a little information that you might be able to use as a reference for choosing the altcoin you want to invest in:

If you are new in this space I suggest you to focus only on Bitcoin or Ethereum.
so far those two coins are the leader in crypto, Bitcoin is known as the safest of all cryptocurrency and known to be the best in term of store of value. you do not need to be afraid holding it because of scam or rug, on the other hand Ethereum is known to be the most advanced cryptocurrency. in the near future Eth 2.0 will go live, it helps the network a lot by decreasing the transaction fee and maybe solving the scalability issue that means, it keeps constantly moving on.

Since  you have already 16000 then I think you have basic knowledge about crypto and trading. So I think you know which are doing well and which are not. You also know maybe most of the altcoins now good but in future or after one year it may dead. So you have to pay more attention on the project you want to invest. Basically you can not get more profit from those coin which is potential. or even you have to wait for more time to get some profits. Now think about where you will invest. In those coin which can give big profit in a short period or you may lose most of your capital? or in such token which has lower risk and can give lower profit than others.?

I will suggest you to invest in BTC, ETH, LTC, ADA.

Tokens? haven't you thought of investing in bitcoin first? Budgeting that, this is what I'll do if that's my capital.

2. Ethereum = $3,000.

4. Litecoin = $1,250

You already have a $ 16k fund - couldn't be better than getting into the crypto space.  The extra condition is the object selection, you need to define your purpose, hold long or short.  My recommendation for the long term would be BNB, DOT, ETH.  These options will provide a safe, beneficial start for you before you are experienced enough to seek another challenge.

Consider at this stage, entering the market at this stage has a high risk ratio and not good profit.
I think the market will continue to move up for another month or two and start preparing for a long bear market. 
If you still want to invest then I recommend buying ETH and keeping it through October :)

Since you posted this in the Altcoins board then I'd suggest to put what you invest in the high market cap altcoins rather selecting some shitcoins. I'd recommend those altcoins that makes it to top 20 since most smart and dumb money flow in there. Try to DYOR on those, there's no better investment if you put a little effort to research them first, besides it's your money.

Lol obviously OP is asking which token he should invest with $16,000 and most of people are suggesting to invest in bitcoin. Can't you read or know the different between coin and token?
I bet OP has invested in bitcoin, he just want to use his remaining funds to invest in some altcoins. Investing in altcoin isn't bad, you can turn your money to multiple times faster than bitcoin once you invested in promising altcoin

All cryptocurrencies look bullish, so it's a little difficult to predict which ones are suitable for short-term investments...
my advice for $ 16k you should just invest in BTC, BNB, and Doge. only these three crypto coins that I saw had a potential of 3x-4x the current price.

I suggest to stay away to those cheap project because it's not worth it to do on this kind of situation of market. Especially below top 10 coins in CMC.. Must focus to the trusted one which is has proof of performance just to ensure you can make profits after all.

Best to tell us the complete details of your plan because each coin has their own goodness for investing.

Some good for short term but others for longer.

If you are looking for altcoin as investment and it's better you can go for binance, polkadot, avalanche, inch or any exchange tokens.
These coins are still having a lot of chance to enter top 10 except binance and DOT coin which already entered on top 10 CMC.

You can also go for flow or something else that was developing the NFT related product.

BTC BNB those have certainty in future i think. It would be good to invest most of your budget with both of coins. and i would like to share my own research.

Etherum is top 2 ranking coin btw it would be better to invest some in ether as well different coins.

1. Mogul 2. Sovryn 3. BNB.  For $ 16k, just give BNB 50%, 30% to Mogul, and the rest to Sovryn.  These are some of the top good recent projects.  BNB is now a completely different version of themselves many years ago.  The BSC is the doping dose for which they have a great patent.

Since you are a newcomer in crypto, you are better to choose the most trusted coins only. So, I suggest you buying 3 top coins or 3 most favorite coins to buy in the market. They are BTC, ETH, and BNB. By the way, what is your goal? For trading or for long-term investment? If you want to hold for the long term, you are better to move the coins to private wallets after you buy them on exchanges. Don't keep the coins on exchanges for a long time.

I wanted to bring this analysis because I have seen some threads where BNB has followers and people who trust the project, they think it will be the alternate future to ETH.

with 16K dollars it was huge amount for us, if we have good selection in coins that will bought it could become 160k. the only thing you need do is dont be hurry buying everything now , moreover we still face bearish trend and no sign to bounce back. the best price for bitcoin maybe around 20k and if its hit i could be very epic for us.

I tend to agree because the very trending token investment is on NFT gaming tokens leading by Axie infinity.  The most expensive game in blockchain that I ever heard and is the decentralized token.  I think the most promising tokens now are in gaming tokens which is very trending and everywhere there's always a gamer.

That amount is good to start to invest, but make sure you have further research before putting your money into an investment.  Because not all of them give a good ROI and it could be a hype token.

Those are good altcoins but a portfolio that lacks bitcoin is like it needed to be corrected at first when seen.

You add bitcoin to the budget with those coins and that's going to give you one of the best portfolios ever that you've built on cryptocurrency. Some are bitcoin only, the maximalist and they never go wrong with it.

And lastly never trust those who promote some coin because there are frauds around the internet.

I would actually advice against that. NFT market now is totally oversaturated and there are way too many buyers and not enough collectors. If you had participated in the early BSC and Pancakeswap NFTs you would mostly have lost money. Everybody buys thinking of rarity value but guess what? These NFTs are mostly not even rare. Pointless and valueless for the majority of them.

if am to settle for 3 coins with long goal i won't look any further than btc, eth, bnb, this 3 are trusted project that have survive any harsh market condition and still very much around and doing way better than before, both long or short term this coins will always put up a good performance, if you have more cash to spare, you can throw in ada, sol, and dot, i know sol and dot are more recently launched than ada but they are not short in terms of performance.

If you are conservative and you value your money then this 3 coins are the best one to keep, and yes  both

long and short term trades there are still benefits from this three assets, as long as you are willing to take

your time finding the right spot to buy and to sell, the potentials are big for this crypto assets.

Almost 99% of those tokens that you are seeing has no future at all. They will all die and new ones will pop up which will face the same fate. Don't blindly invest in those tokens people are suggesting over here. Most of them are trying to shill for those shitty tokens they have invested in. Just do your own study and decide which one might have a good future. It's going to be very risky.
Why look for tokens when you can just invest in coins like bitcoin or ethereum and hold them for good profit?

To avoid being scam just invest in the altcoin that is proven and tested something like ethereum bnb and Doge etc., There are so many promising altcoin you can see them on CMC and coingecko there are top altcoins to choose there. For me it is more safe to invest on altcoin that is already on top even if they are high at price than others but you can considered it as a safe investment and that is a big advantage.

The most reliable investment can be considered bitcoin and Ethereum. Therefore, you need to invest 75% of your capital in these coins. The remaining 25% should be distributed among Defi projects, investments in which are very risky, but can bring hundreds of percent of profit.

the current price of ETH is $2k and if you buy ETH right now, then of course you can buy 8 ETH and in my opinion you only need to invest in ETH without having to look for 3 altcoin to be used as an investment, because I'm sure if the price of ETH can increase by at least $10k in the long term, so if you buy ETH and hold until the price of ETH increase to $10k, then of course it will make your money become to $80k.

the crypto have lot of risk and most of coins scam , never buy any icos or new coins , the only legit coin is top 10 in coincapmarket like bitcoin and eth , ltc , these old coins you buy then hold for long term , the world of crypto is not easy , there lot of exchange scam too . like i sayed before just buy bitcoin now because prices drop and cheap then hold for next year at latest for making some profit specialy if bitcoin reach 60k again or new high 100k or more

I will advise you to do your research and don’t rely on the advice of others to make any investment decisions. The cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and no one can tell you accurately what the price of a coin will be in the future.

But again, some promising coins in the market have long-term potential one among such coins is (Hex) this project has already gone a great mile this year alone.

I still think that ETH-BNB duo is a great for the future, they will not make you 100x richer for sure but they will keep on growing bigger and bigger, I am not saying BTC as third because we are in altcoin section but if you could actually add in bitcoin then you have three coins that is nearly guaranteed to have a future, that is good enough and just keep on buying more and more and in few decades you will have enough money to retire, 20-30 years of investment then retirement doesn't sound too bad, I will be 50-60 by that time and after that I will be rich, I know many people want to be rich at young age but I have given up on that unfortunately I realized long time ago that I have to play the long game to make profit because I am not a financial wizard.

In the other method you could pick 3 coins with very low cap and hope for the best, maybe you will be a millionaire in few years, or maybe you will lose it all, we really do not know.

with $16k as capital , better to use half only and the rest for reserve if price drop so we can buy on dip. Stable coin be must have coins in our bag to catch opportunity that suddenly occur in market. Risking all balance will very dangerous if market didnt move as suitable with our hope. Many good project in market now and took major coins such as SOL , BNB, ETH or even bitcoin as investment assets.

To verify the tokens you need to analyze the market well properly analyzing the projects will help you learn something new about the market and make it easier to know which currency is best for you to invest. Many times traders give up their futures due to instability but the price goes down but bitcoin ethereum and BNB are good currencies in the future even if the price is good and the price goes down the price is  likely to go up again.

If I were you, I would invest in bitcoin for about $10k, $4,100 in ethereum, $1k in bnb, and the rest will be a low coins price, such as matic, dot, trx, ada, vet or else. I will split $10k for each $5k to invest in bitcoin with making 2-3 order buy at the current price and lower price and so do with the ethereum and bnb so I can have many ranges of price to buy. But that amount for each coin or the name of the coin can be different as we need to analyze more to find the right coin.

16k usd is enough amount for diversification ,

- 4,000 usd for Ethereum  = Safest Altcoins of all.

- 4,000 usd for Binance = one of the most stablished and promising coins in the market.

- 4,000 usd for Ripple = after so many attacks XRP proven that it can grow no matter what market stands

and the last 4000 dollars must be for Bitcoin for your own investment security.

if you are a beginner, you better choose a coin in the top 10 coinmarketcap for you to use as a reference.  it's very easy and risk is also small, instead of you getting confused and stuck on a bad coin, you will lose $16K of your money.

We have the same preference here, if in case you want to hold 3 coins for long-term.
Definitely, btc should be in your portfolio, as no matter what, this top alt will not disappear in the market anytime soon.
ETH and BNB have both solid foundations, so I'll go for these 2.
We know the team behind these 2 top crypto platforms and I don't think they will think of rug pull in the market.
But at the end of the day, it is the OP who needs to decide his portfolio, because in case something goes awry, no one but himself is responsible to it.

better don't use all of this money for crypto investment, we have to diversify into several market such as stock or commodity market which is have lower risk. Especially for beginner that lack of knowledge they should talk about profits first, loss must calculated and managed well before start our position. Bitcoin or ethereum and binance will be best assets to start our invesment , it have lower risk if compared with other currency.

According to my Holding now and the Volume from top to bottom .

Ethereum (ETH)- 23% of my Altcoin Holding is in this coin.

Ripple (XRP) - 16% of totality of my Altcoin holding in this.

Binance (BNB) - 8% oin this one.

and the majority in which 53% are all In Bitcoin in my reason is more practical and rightful .

You have a good amount of USD for investment. But you are a newbie in the crypto world that I believe. You know what, crypto investment is very risky. you may also lose all of your capital here. Never invest money that you can't afford to lose. I think even if others are suggesting with different coins to invest, it will be much better if you DYOR on your own and after a deep and long research and analysis, i know you will come up with your own top coins to invest.

Investing in altcoins is profitable if you have invested on the top coins with high potentials but if you have chosen those meme coins, i  don't think you will have a future on it. To be more practical, invest first on bitcoin and i know you will always be on the right track.

I agree. I think everyone should do this but leave like 1k aside for silly investments as well those are not to joke with because they could make you some serious money as well if you are lucky and if you are not you already invested 15k into big ones anyway and they will make you +1k profit very easily, could take time but it is at least guaranteed that your 15k into btc/eth/bnb will turn into 16k very easily.

I just feel like there is a good chance we could potentially see some sort of increase in small coins as well and that is why I honestly feel like you should risk that extra 1k to get some small and probably not a great coin in order to shoot for sky because while others will make you money, this could either be completely lost or could make you x10 profit as well. You could divide that into 4-5 coins as well, get one for 200-250 dollars and with 4-5 you increase your chance. It is still important to spend that 15k on btc/eth/bnb though, that is very important, VERY.

i do agree , some traders maybe shill their project to attract buyer so price will move higher. But if we research and analize by our self, we will know which project is the best and have lower risk in future. $16000 was huge amount and impossible for us invest in project which is analized other and not by our self. we could not improve our knowledge and skills about crypto market

Newbies really need a reference for their direction when it comes to choosing coins and those that are often in the 10 coinmarketcap are the best coins and also always have better and faster recovery potential than other coins that are further from the top 10

Here is my way to choose promising projects: I am used to opening a table top-100 with the most popular tokens on coinmarketcap,where I choose one that is on lows and learn all the ropes about it.

I would have to warn you about XRP, maybe you know this or maybe you do not know this but I just wanted to warn you in case you didn't know.

XRP is a coin that is managed by two people, the owners of the company Ripple, they are making all the profit from it, and people are not even trading on the same blockchain as Ripple uses for all the movements, there is absolutely no use case for it, moving money around easier was the reason they created it, and they had agreements with many companies about it and now they are moving money around the globe thanks to the blockchain tech none of which uses XRP itself, they just do it over some other blockchain on XRP ecosystem. They can also print as much XRP as they want for themselves which they have done before, that is the riskiest thing I have ever heard in any crypto and it is 100% centralized. I would avoid if I were you.

Cryptocurrency has become a global phenomenom in recent years, although much is still to be learned about this evolving technology. You must need to know each first before you're going to invest. Actually there are many altcoins that can be called future potential, but among these coins, I still choose BTC, ETH and BNB because I believe that these coins will be able to survive in the future and it was already proven. this amount was so huge for me and maybe  i will not directly use all amount in single transaction. I agree with all three of them and do not agree that it will be like that at all for the NFT at all. What I think will happen is that NFT world is small right now and innovations are not that big, eventually we are going to see a lot better innovations which will make NFT world a lot more interesting.

I would guess that staking is out of question? I mean 16k in cake would yield about another 10k+ yearly just from the staking, not to consider even the fact that the price would also increase in most cases, depends on the market of course. I personally think that there is a good chance that we could see every coin increase in price, while increasing you are also making more of it, that is a good deal.

Can't go wrong with BTC and ETH for starters. ETH and BTC are the safest crypto to start with. There are also really good alt coins but those are more risky. For short term, I would say SHIB (Shibu Inu) is gaining quite a popularity especially due to DOGE Coin. Safemoon also looks quite promising too. Papel can also be good buy currently as this cryptocurrency is majorly getting hyped because of "money heist".

Btc is definitely going to part of this team.
