 Is investing in cryptocurrency is good idea or COIN ,

Cryptocurrency investment is very good idea becouse you can make very good amount from cryptocurrency investment. But must invest your fund on good project or coin otherwise you can loss your fund.         

That's what I am currently trying to figure put myself, too. Coinbase started off pretty strong but what's going to happen to in in the near future... Hard to say.

Bitcoin is made Coinbase and make it worth 80B USD not Coinbase that make bitcoin worth 1.2T USD.
RobinHood and GMT stock proved that the stock market is being manipulated for the benefit of whales, which means that the cryptocurrency market is more secure than being manipulated and no one can reverse or cancel your transactions.

You can speculate in the derivatives markets instead of betting on Coin Stock

you have full choice of what will happen to your funds...
I personally am not interested in investing in COIN because investing in cryptocurrencies is much more profitable IMO. but if you are hesitant to invest in crypto then you can choose Coinbase stocks. *DWYOR

Why not both?? If you invest in both then you can get the best of both world, isn't it? If you are a cryptocurrency investor that doesn't mean you can't invest in stock market or to any other asset. Rather it's always wise to have a diversified portfolio so that if any sector gives bad returns, the other sector can balance your money.

Also Coinbase ipo is a historical event for the crypto market. This is the first ever company in crypto market that got listed in a publicly traded stock market. Who wouldn't want to become a part of the history!!

Investing in crypto at right salutation in the potential project, It's a good idea. When you just buy any crypto from market it will not be good IMO. You must have to choose right project and also you have to invest at the right situation. For example right now market is so bullish and you can choose some potential coin which did not make huge pump yet. You have a good chance to win the trade.

Now talking about coinbase coin. I don't know much about this coin. Just see some new about it. Don't know more. I assume it's maybe a coin from coinbase like bnb from binance. If my guess is right then yes, Investing in COIN is very very good idea.

Try to invest on crypto currency. It is profitable way to invest on good crypto currency. For this, you have to analysis the crypto market very well. At this current time, you will be able to find a lot of crypto currency which are more potential for future.

If you want to invest in crypto why be bogged down by one coin when there are so many to choose from.


The portfolio of a good investor shows great diversification, and there's a reason for that. If you can, my advice is to try out with a few coins and get a feel first don't jump start into the first coin you come across, do some analysis.

It's not a coin; Coinbase just went public on the stock market, and COIN is their ticker symbol.  Apparently OP is asking whether he should invest in Coinbase stock or cryptocurrency.

I'd probably wait for a while before even thinking about buying COIN, because most IPOs trade at inflated prices for days, weeks, or months before the hype factor wears off and investors start looking at the stock rationally, e.g., looking at the company's earnings, dividend, and all that stuff.  And my guess is that you'd probably do a lot better buying bitcoin (or some solid altcoins like ETH) than COIN right now, because I don't think the crypto bull market is even close to being over. 

TL;DR: Coinbase stock is probably overvalued right now, and buying bitcoin/crypto is likely going to be more profitable in the short-term.

Would always be better if you do have this kind of behavior rather than on jumping in things just because you had been hyped or been suggested by someone which is really a bad habit to start on because most likely
you would really be ending up on losing investment instead of earning but well everything isnt a guarantee this is why this decision will really vary into yourself if you would push it out or not basing on your
own analysis.Its your money and its just your own decision wether you decide to proceed or not but just like on what others been saying on here that trying out first with few coins isnt
really a bad idea at all. Diversification is best to lessen up the risk and dont focus on few coins.

It's a stock and it just launched so if you think that there will be a hype on it, buy and sell it afterwards. But you can consider it just like other stocks for long term if you want to hold it.

I wouldn't invest on it, instead I'll invest on bitcoin.

Both COIN and other crypto in general has their own risks. Why not invest on both? If I were you, I would invest most of my capital or atleast a minimum of 90% on crypto that is currently on dip or those that have a high chance of growing and 10% on COIN. Despite of being popular and strong, COIN is a token for an App, and once that app would have huge problems such as being hacked or had an issue with transactions, then expect a huge decrease on your investments. By the time that you COIN were doubled, there's a bigger chance that your crypto grew even more than 10x.

Depends on what project you’re investing since not all cryptocurrency are worth it and some are shitcoins that can’t give you profit but an headache. Coinbase is huge, they tend to offer more in the public as they enter in the public market so this can also be a good option for your investment, this is a top cryptoexchange as well.

Is the investment for long term or short term? Sometimes, it depends on your goals here.
If you are investing in coinbase, I think this one is good for long term.
Their price per share may continuously increase over time. But that is one risk you need to be ready with.
And with other alts, if you are not familiar with them would be hard to invest your hard-earned money.
Maybe just keep your funds in btc or eth. At least, these 2 for me are relatively safe.
But if you have enough funds, you can invest in both. Diversifying is a very good thing when it comes to investments.

If you are riding the expected hype that COIN will bring, while trading will be open on Binance soo, then just be careful and make sure you will monitor it well.

As for other coins, we have different views on each coin. I won't suggest what coins should be on your portfolio as we have different approach how to manage those.

We have different sights on cypto and if you want some coin because of its amazing background then grab it, crypto currency is a good way to earn profit if you know how it works or how things happening in the crypto market. But you also need to be careful because scams are everywhere before you grab some amazing opportunity make a research and find some legal evidences that the coin you wanted to invest is legit to avoid wasting of time and money.

We can give different advices here as to where you might choose to invest your money but then at the end, you will decide it on your own. Since I am having a good experience in crypto investments, I am recommending it to you. Especially that I have been a long term hodler and that makes me earned a massive profits today because of the bullish market.

Investing straight into cryptocurrency will be a better option. If you feel like you should invest in $COIN by Coinbase, maybe it would be best if you just invest a part of the money into and then the rest goes for cryptocurrency investment. Cryptocurrency is a better option for me, especially when it is bitcoin, because no one is going to be controlling your asset or telling you when to leave the market or not, you have full control over your asset. Maybe I wouldn’t know how to explain it better to you, but cryptocurrency is the best investment that you’re going to make, but since Coinbase’ $COIN is kind of trending, you can put a part of the money in it.

I would suggest that if it is your first time then probably you should invest in bitcon more than stock because if you look at it, bitcoin grows faster than any stock out there so you proabbly can hold it off and buy bitcoin and hodl it first before doing any other things.

Well I haven't invested just yet to COIN, but since you're already in Coinbase why not do something a little bit for Bitcoin before you invest to any other cryptocurrency.
This might fall to altcoin discussion board, OP in case you're really not looking for investing in Bitcoin.

To invest in Wall Street you have to take into account that the market moves very differently from cryptocurrencies, bitcoin and other similar markets, in the Bitcoin market volatility is the usual ingredient that makes the market unique, on Wall Street It is different, if you look at it, some successful investors like Warren Buffet make profits over 8 and 10 years, in Bitcoin the market moves much faster, the considerations you should take is, if you are actually prepared to invest in any type of market, be it on Wall Street or cryptocurrencies, because if you enter and don't know what to do it is much more difficult, because gambling is not a good strategy.

Coibase Coin has not yet closed the week, it is likely that these shares will rise a lot, because the Bitcoin market is very strong, but you have to be prepared for any eventuality, whether the market gives you profits quickly (It can happen) or that go against you. IF your intention is to invest in the long term, I recommend that you diversify in both markets, as long as you see it as a medium and long term investment to see how the market reacts to these events.

coinbase is related to crypto and theres no need for comparison if where you will invest but go a head because coinbase is a trusted company but i cant tell if thier own coin will pump because not all likes coinbase because there are good alternatives from wallet to exchanges but with less limitations and are not strict.

Don't have any doubts but why not try? It for sure everyone here would say the crypto investment is good but this is only for those who are willing to invest, not just by saying.

Maybe you are thinking about risk and losses. Well, that only depends on you if were not able to manage your investment carefully. But just wanted to remind you that not all the time we are in the bullish season that we can get a huge profit, sometimes we also face the crisis during the bearish season which is the biggest challenge for everyone on how to control our emotions especially when seeing our portfolio is declining.

Personally, I have not invested, but it seems to me that it is worth it. All the same, coinbase is not too far behind Binance, and you can now see what happens to the BNB coin.
Therefore, it may make sense to invest in this coin to everyone who has free funds. One way or another, this exchange will work for a long time, as it is the flagship in the market, that is, you should not worry about its safety and long-term.

investment styles can be different. Long-term investment is always better if you are able to choose an asset that is really worth investing in (BTC, BNB or Doge which is currently trending). I feel that investing in stocks is also good, but I think it is for a longer time, whereas in this case I prefer crypto with a shorter investment duration and also a good profit.

I do not have access to trading on the stock exchange, but for those who wish to purchase Coinbase shares, they can do so on the FTX cryptocurrency exchange. And since yesterday, such trading is also open on the Binance exchange. But I did not buy such tokenized shares, due to the fact that since the start of trading, the price has decreased by 50%, which I consider unacceptable for such a promotion.

I believe that they are both in profiting but just to ask yourselves first which you are comfortable with. Because for me, I choose to invest in crypto. Though it consists of high risk, however, I was comfortable also that I can manage to control my emotions and could face the risk of it. I already have knowledge in crypto and that seems to be the advantage.

Just bear in mind that to choose where you confidently could perform right, not just because we are aiming for huge returns but we even don't know how to do it, that actually be useless.

If into long term goals then investing in stocks is good and safer, but if into crypto and knows that you will also be trading every now and then then it will be better to not let the money sleep longer in stock. It gain more profit by trading if knows how to trade well. But if we have plenty of money then diversifying is a good choice knowing that its safe and the potential is still there since there are still many whose not into using crypto exchanges yet and might use Coin once they enter into it.

Just do it, if you believe that crypto currency is a good place for your investment place. If I were you, I'll make many analyst first before I make a decision, asking to many people is good but there is a bad thing as well.

Remember, when you are investing you use your own money not someone's else money. It means, the risk that will get and profit that will get will be felt by you not everyone who give you a suggestion.

Why not have both instead. Investing in Cryptocurrencies can be profitable but make sure you are choosing the right crypto, as much as possible scrutinize every each one of them before placing your investment. Now Coinbase Coin, to be honest, I have no idea about it yet but I just research it recently. I'd say it is worth trying though the outcome will be hard to tell, if it became successful it would be certainly rewarding, yes high risk to take but as they said the higher the risk the more profit it has.

Maybe their suggestions are right or wrong but we have to respect them. The decision lies in the hands of OP if he finds it right or finds our suggestions wrong unless if the person who is asking knows already the answer just like a teacher giving an exam.

I do not believe in COIN. It is quite overvalued so instead of investing in Coinbase COIN, I would rather choose cryptocurrency. Even if cryptos are overvalued, people will keep buying it no matter how expensive it can be. Just look at dogecoin. It has gained more than 1000% in just a few months

yes i think you are right , somehow crypto has proved itself from last 10-12 years and COIN  has still to go far ahead to prove its worth

It appears that many individuals don't have legitimate information how crypto investment works out. You're investing, you either win or lose. You won't win always. It's more up to the market and how you interpret it. It's not a good idea put your all attention on a single investment plan. There's no such things as 100% sureness in this market but if you do your research your investment can grow.

Both have their own strengths. As crypto investor my suggestion is to invest in crypto as it has crossed 1 trillion cap. If you play sensibly then you can earn good profit. The only thing you need to be aware of is to choose the coin wisely.

People will come and then ask questions, Which one is good for investment? Which one is more profitable? They usually ask assurance that no one could tell which one...Even we DYOR is not enough for us to tell which project could give such a thing. Gain or Lose, that is our life in crypto, we can't escape that scenario no matter how good we are, no matter how careful we are.

So OP, it was your choice but I would suggest thinking about which one you have felt that you are comfortable and knowledgeable about. Don't try to something you never know unless if you are willing to do so and also you are willing to lose your money.

Hello Dear, off course cryptoCurrency investment is very good option. Everybody can invest on crypto currency and Everybody can make very good amount from Crypto currency. As my own opinion i want to tell you that many beginner make very good amount form their investment.                   

i honestly don't know the exact parameter about COIN whether it's overprice or not. but for sure, I will also choose to invest in crypto. crypto is easier, quicker to make a profit and also more flexible when compared to investing in COIN

Not all beginners are making a good amount from an investment, sir, as some are getting streak losses because of not having proper investment knowledge. It would be best if you had a good solid understanding when investing as it's required a large amount of money. It will be risky, and you will regret it when you start an investment without prior knowledge about it. The big suggestion is to get enough knowledge when making an investment there is a lot of helpful guide in there, google or watch it on youtube. It will be beneficial to you for sure.

It all depends on your goals. How is investing in stocks safer than investing in cryptocurrencies? After all, if we take the long-term prospects, then 10 years of investing in bitcoin is more than safe.
But if we are talking about short-term investments, then it is obvious that cryptocurrencies have higher risks. But who needs short-term investments when it comes to cryptocurrency?

Actually both option is a good idea to make investment so if i were you if you want to make good return must grab both because indeed coinbase is the very first project that become more trustworthy than other cyrpto related projects nowadays, so it's definitely safe and reliable as well, but a friendly reminder mate always remember to invest what amount you can afford to lose because you know how volatile this crypto market and also of course must choose which coin/cryptocurrency that can really guarantee huge profits afterwards don't rely to a new projects because sometimes they're unpredictable.

How about a simple diversification? @op, I mean this is even the best strategy, you probably would have heard the saying that its not good for one to put all of he's or her eggs in one basket, though sometimes, the money is little that one feels diversity won't bring in much expected profit, if this is the case, then it's better to invest the money in crypto currencies, all you have to do is be very careful and research very well before investing in any coin or altcoin, to avoid investing in a scam project, but if you enough money to invest, then I will personally advice you invest part of the money in crypto currencies and invest the remaining part in coinbase coin if you spirit directs you too, I personally have investments in crypto and have other investments outside crypto too, doesn't make any sense throwing ones eggs all in one basket.

certainly investing in crypto is a very good idea. it may be very difficult to explain but if you analyze more deeply the lower level of risk and the possibility of getting a bigger profit is one of the reasons for choosing to invest in crypto

And moreover, you can't be comparing the whole crypto market having market volume that is more than $1trillion with ordinary Coinbase Stock that is more or less in it infantry stage. well, actually, we have known that investing in cryptocurrency may be risker than in stock.
However, we all know that cryptocurrency may be more and more promising and profitable to get it more quickly if you really know the right way or strategies in trading crypto.
However, if you want to invest about 2000 USD and you're still confused, why don't you diversify your money? You may use half for that stock COIN and the least for cryptocurrency. But of course, ensure that you choose the top coins, not memes or shitcoins because it will be very risky.

Is this Coinbase Global Inc or NASDAQ that OP is referring to?  It is a good idea to invest in cryptocurrency because of its high ROI compared to the stock market.  But you should choose the right coin to buy like the top coins in the market cap because if you just buy random ones that go through the hype you might just go bankrupt.  You should also know the risk when investing in crypto due to the rapid change of its prices or volatility.  You should also know if your target is short-term or long-term.

investing in the crypto world is not only for Coinbase,
there are some good exchanges that you can use to choose coins and invest in them,
such as Binance, there are many good coins that have good project backgrounds too,
and of course choose an cheap coin, such as Bittrorent.

$COIN is a stock not a crypto asset. In my opinion because COINBASE is the first crypto exchange that enter to stocks market USA so this asset has potential to grow together with the popularitas of Coinbase and cryptocurrencies.

Right, a coin coming from coinbase would have better chances of profit although it means that the coin would get investors from the start and won't bloom as much as other hidden gems.

Imagine a coin that didn't have the same exposure as other coins while still having a great use case, it would have a massive chance of even 100x as compared to a project which was always in the news and everyone expected it to do well, something like EOS, might do good but won't bloom as other hidden or lesser-known coins.

I was among the early traders who bought Solana and I sold them cheap because I would have made at least 25x if I sold them at the peak price and that tells me investing in lesser-known coins is the overall better idea for big profits.

Crypto and stocks of COIN tradeable by different trend and different markets. In this situation of crypto market, split money in to crypto and stocks is much better idea, because we dont know yet how the trend of crypto market next. We know already if BTC bearish , all others altcoin will bearish too, but in stocks market is differents. Each others stocks is not connected.

However if we are honest with each other, I would say coinbase is not a bad investment neither, it is actually a great company that will only continue to profit. At the end of the day some people like investing into stocks, and other people like to invest into crypto, there are people who like neither and there are people who like either of those things.

For anyone to decide which one they want to do, that person first needs to realize if they are a person who likes to invest in any of these, and if that solves the question then that is great, if not then we move to next stage. Even I had experience this same one.I had keep my holding of 3000 dollars in UFT.Just check the price of UFT for now.It had reduced the huge value.I had in the loss of 2000 dollars.It's true story of mine.Instead we can invest in many coin to get decent profit from it.Then to get loss by keep all your saving on single coin.
