Bitmain in its twitter revealed the technical data of Antminer E9, mentioning that the hashrate of the upcoming Antminer E9 device for mining Ethereum will be equivalent to 32 Nvidia RTX 3080 video cards, 32 RTX 3080 video cards when mining using the Ethash algorithm give a hashrate of approximately 3040 MN/s. Earlier, journalists assumed that the hashrate of the Antminer E9 could be about 1500 MH/s.

If it's true, that going to be one expensive doorstop once ETH moves to POS. Hopefully this will improve GPU availability.

Why all this release of a new Asic miner when EIP1559 is already coming? Also is eth moving out of PoW algorithm a joke? Because if that's a fact these people or company rather won't be building new Asic miner

If it's the case then can we expect to see Ethereum developers doing regular hard forks to stave off ASICs like Monero developers do?

Nah Proof of Stake (POS) removes the need for miners.....probably want to read up on that.

And please link the RandomX Asic you refer too above?
