Dogecoin has dropped after a huge breakout. Many hk people think that the bull market of Dogecoin is over. But some people think that Dogecoin still has a chance to go up. However, there’re very few information about Dogecoin in most investing forum in hk. It’s because hk people are more keen on investing stocks and bonds. Most people in this forum are professional in investing crypto. Could you tell me whether Dogecoin still worth to invest? Or the bull market of Dogecoin is over?

i have selled some investment in doge maybe the biggest reason i have because the ATH gainst Bitcoin has been reached but the market conditions are nobody knows so always use your analysis. maybe some of my doge I will sell at the end of the year, because I have withdrawn the capital. and then still many coins that can be invested so my advice is never to chase coins, and try to glance at other coins

Due to recent drop in the prices of bitcoin, dogecoin could be a good investment at this time because it has dumped hard. A tweet from elon musk will gain pump it. I would not recommend investing in Dogecoin, because it is simply an old non-evolving cryptocurrency. The growth of this cryptocurrency was due only to speculation by prominent individuals, but it has no prospects. I would be interested to read some arguments about the future growth of Dogecoin.

As I see the DOGE currency is not stable. Its price fluctuations are very fast. It can blow prices quickly and can also drop in price. Prove that it used to lose up to 80% of its value. yes if you bought 2 years ago, but today doge is like a bait in the front of fish mouth and when you bite it you can caught and became a prey. You can look other project that has a potential to climb anytime soon.

It is quite risky to invest in Dogecoin right now since it recently got pumped.  You might end up bag holding overpriced Doge once the whale decided to exit dump.  Though I agree that the possibility of DOGE to be pumped again is there but I would play it safe and look for other investment that has yet to be pumped hard.

Doge was never worth to invest, the only reason it went up was some super rich wealthy person tweeted about it and that's it. I mean without Elon Musk do you see dogecoin going up? Maybe as much as everything else in the market because all of crypto went up, but it wouldn't be going up like this, it wouldn't become a top 10 coin, hell it wouldn't even be a top 20 coin if it wasn't for Elon but at its peak it became like 5th or 6th I think (not that it is too much down now).

So long story short there is two questions you have to ask yourself, do you think that Elon will keep tweeting about it and increasing the price? Or do you think it is too risky to invest into something hoping Elon will tweet one day? If you can answer that, you can invest or not depending on the answer. The value of Dogecoin is following an explosive momentum growth that cannot last long. Dogecoin is currently valued at $0.27. While this is a significant value, the fact that it managed to get as high as $0.43 is very impressive, nevertheless, this price is steadily decreasing. There is no reason to expect that Dogecoin will rise anymore over the next months and this is not what I would consider a good investment right now.

elon's support on this old coin is unpredictable. if the doge supporters is just relying on his support to increase its price in the market, then that is very dangerous. the doge team should do something from their end, now, that it is gaining attention from the community.

I am hodling some cardano and I think XRP is a good investment, looking to buy in at some point. Also have made quite a bit on DOGE we are waiting to see what the next move is with that one. Elon tweeted this morning "what does the future hodl?" 🙂 He is a rich and powerful dude and I think he wouldn't be backing DOGE unless he knows something. It would really affect his reputation if it completely tanked and so many people lost so much. If it was me ,i do not invest in Dogecoin at this high price, yes, this price of Dogecoin is very very very expensive. Invest in Doge it is high risk, and i even predict Doge will down 99% in the next bear market.And when that time comes, i would buy some.

Honestly you have all the reasons to invest in Doge, whats there to hate about doge, transaction fees are low, its the meme coin you name it, other alternative coins transaction fees go over the roof, you cant move these coins around inspite seeing a reduction in gas fees of late.

Because I'm still believing into dogecoins to be having another round of big rally which might be taking it toward $1 price levels but anything could happen so investing some small percentage of your portfolio could be a wise decision, am investors might take in this bull season.

With a clear understanding I can say Dogecoin is just a meme coin which got no use case like it's coin has nothing which backs it up, just the shilling of Elon musk and other big guys. you are right. the fact is that the price of doge is very high nowadays, and many people have become rich because of it. lots of people want to feel that way, and invest in doge too. although I think that right now if there is a decline, the price of the doge will return low, but the decision to invest or not lies in the way we look at it. Personally, I don't own a doge, and won't buy it for now. I only focus on coins with a clear development like ETH or BNB.

Despite of the massive dump about 50% it's still quite good that doge actually could have its "new" normal price of $0.27 nowadays, back in the past that kind of price is already called dreamy by most of people but it's true though it could be too late to invest because frankly doge doesn't have anything special from it that could helps it pumps its own price to another height. Yes, Elon Musk does create some hype that impacts the price of Dogecoin but understand this his tweet or joke alone are not what create the Dogecoin positive trend.
What he does is make a tweet and invested some funds in Dogecoin once that market opportunist saw a positive movement they seized it but in the end, naive investors are the prey.

Dogecoin has a huge community indeed but with regards to its tokenomics especially its total supply, I don't think that this will be a good coin to invest with at least in mid to long term. A cryptocurrency can't solely survive based on a few tweets and support from the celebrities. It needs to have a good algorithm to back up its technology, and widespread acceptance and adoption. Dogecoin lacks in all these aspects, and therefore it was not a surprise when the prices crashed by 40% in a week. Right now the DOGE market cap is more than that of more technologically advanced cryptocurrencies such as Polkadot and Uniswap, which IMO is not justified.

Even before the crazy bull run in 2021, Dogecoin was looking overvalued. And that was when the market cap was around 1/100th of the current levels. And now the situation has got much worse. It has managed to get to a market cap of $30 billion without any solid basics (at one point, the market cap was as high as $60 billion). There are smaller altcoins with much higher adoption and acceptability rates, with less than 10% of the market cap that Dogecoin is having. The ground situation doesn't reflect on the market cap figure.
