I see a lot of newbies ask whether they should quit their jobs to trade crypto, and my honest advice is you should not try it.

The thing with any investment or business is that, no matter the amount of money you have, it is always good to start small and grow over time (don't test water depth with both feets). Because you are entering a new market and you need time to understand the market. Your job will stand as an insurance for you, in case of any loss. So keep your job, continue investing in crypto and growing your portfolio until the money you make from crypto is more than enough to pay for your lifestyle and also save. Then only can you quit your job.

Trading generally is risky, be it crypto, forex or stocks. You are right but I have different opinion on this. The only time best for someone to quit his/her job is not when crypto trading is sufficient for living because trading is risky, but the time when the person has already established a business that can also be another means of earning income which is not risky like trading. With this, the trader will have quality mindset to trade. Although, some people are basically traders and they are earning incomes, but not for everyone because trading is risky.

Is anyone here considering trading and investing crypto as a source of income?  IMO, I won't.

Get a decent job and should have a stable source of income.  In that way, you can fulfill your needs and also if your trading and investment habit.
Crypto trading and investing are very risky and I tend to agree with that, there's no assurance that you will and it's unpredictable either you will gain profit and you will lose, it seems a sort of gambling.

When you have a stable income, you can afford the amount that you want to invest in crypto, either it will win or loss in trading or waiting for an unknown time frame in getting profit from investing, there's no worry about it because you have a job which had a stable income.

There is no doubt that there is risk here, but there is also a great deal of upside. Before you dismiss the question outright, bear in mind that some people have actually done this. There are many factors to consider when it comes to trading, and your career opportunities as a trader are extremely diverse. If that's what you're after, I'd say go for it. But for a lot of young people, it's tough to figure out how they fit into the whole game.

You should not quit your job until you can live on 20% of what your side business produces each month.

You cannot compromise your regular source of income over something which is very risky. But it also doesn't mean that since you are tied up with a regular job, you cannot anymore familiarize yourself with cryptocurrency trading and even become expert with it. It is all about time management. If others who have full time jobs can manage to juggle work with going to school and having family responsibilities, it could also be done with cryptocurrency trading. Determination is the key.

Newbies want to do so after they have easy, fast and big profit from crypto market.

There are facts that they've yet known because they are newbies and don't have much time in crypto. As newbies, they will struggle to keep any profit they've earned. They will easily to lose their profit and if they can not control their emotion, they will make bad decisions. At the end, they will lose their capital as well.

If at the end, they lose capital and already quit their jobs, they will get troubles.

If they want to quit their jobs, they should cash out their profit from crypto, store it as fiat in their bank account as savings. With bank savings, if anything bad comes, they can use it to live for few months to years. It is not easy to do.

I'm not a newbie but Id loss my job during the midst of pandemic and during that time the only thing I could draw money from was trading and investing. Yes it shouldn't but it did give me some good profits from trading. Now that the system is returning to normal, I'm gonna try if I'm gonna survive without my job and pull off the trading method.

So far until now it's good. It's case to case basis, actually some should not quit job and focus on trading considering I have a good job and fair compensation. Its always a gamble out there. So better take caution everytime.

More accurately for that is profit. But it could be the same as source of additional income I guess. If the trading and investing given you enough or at least ample income like your job then it can be considered just an opinion.

My friend exactly did that, then got lucky in one of airdrops, he trades full time now.

In short, trading is not for everyone.
Trading is not easy money at all, it takes time, effort, and MONEY to become successful traders. A lot of people, especially newbie who started trading but after a few trades/days/weeks, they stopped trading.

Trading is like Expectation V.S. Reality meme out there. Most of you can see online, especially social media are good sides of trading, some people showing off their profits, how many profits they earned on trading. But the negative part of trading, they are not showing it off.

Finding a decent job in these pandemic times might not be fruitful. A job is must or a monthly source of income is a must if you want to earn more from cryptocurrency trading. I also would not recommend anyone to quit their job and invest everything in cryptocurrency. Keeping it as a side income should be the priority.

I don't believe that people can quit their jobs because of crypto trading because loss is in every corner and it doesn't take too long to figure that out, in a day of trading you will lose and recover back and if you are a newbie you'd probably freak out and loss yourself

In this current bull market if you are a successful trader my opinion is you should be able
to give up your job - Period. You should be able to make massive gains in this market as
a trader. While we are still in a bull market the proce is correcting a lot, traders dream,
If you can make the right trades!

Otherwise its risky, its takes experience, dedication, patience and time.

If you live today, you should have secured your needs with a regular job. Cryptotrading can't guarantee your daily needs even if you are aiming for future savings. Moreover, the trading times are very flexible and will not bother you to carry out other activities.

Don't keep until you're well off with the amount you've got in crypto but even you reaches up to the point that you can retire because you've made well in crypto.

Still keep some cryptos on your hand.

Btw, trading is riskier. Take it from someone who had done it before and chose to hold.

Leaving your job to trade will add values for trader to exploits in trading, that reminds a trader that the necessary thing it have to do, to become successful is attentions, because engaging in business with lack of trust and interest will lead to collapse of business, and biblically and other religions believe let us know that we can't serve two masters at a time, therefore weather you trade or you focus on job so that you can be a specialist in one section.

OP I feel a strong energy from your message. You sound so sure and I'm certain you have strong feelings about this. My question to you is this; Have you been in that situation before? If you had, then I'm guessing things went wrong and you regret your actions. Trading crypto is work just like traders on wall street. Its not a gamble, like every other profession, you need to be have an education to be a successful crypto trader. It's a full time job...I don't fancy OP's narrative of making trading sound like a passive thing.

Having a job is considered a safe plan. You're sure to get paid a salary at the end of the month( most times) and you don't have to bother about the company's risks or losses. You save enough to get you through retirement. Playing it safe is good ideology but that won't get you far if you have ambition. I have seen friends quit their jobs to pursue their dreams and passion, very few succeed at it but they move on because they tried at it.
The problem is newbies are lured in the crypto space believing they can change their lives overnight and become billionaires.  A man who believes such can do anything.

You were lucky enough to have some funds saved to start with. Most of the people who ask about it don't have any starting capital IMHO, not to mention lack of knowledge. All they see is alts making multi X and want their bite without realizing that it's just temporary situation. I doubt that anyone who is really aiming at something would ask advice on internet forums instead of learning the trade.

Some people say that trading is easy money, you just throw some money at the exchange and it will automatically grow for you like magic.
But is it really that easy? Not really, the money really does not come to those who invest a few dollars, it comes to those who invest a few thousand and more. Trading is not easy money at all. Just because you were successful for a couple of days, that doesn't mean you will make any money in the long run. You have to maintain your winnings and losses. That is why it is important to understand the fundamentals of the market.

If you are successful in trading, don't get greedy and don't get too excited. Only practice a couple of trades at a time. Also, unless you're experienced, never trade using leverage.

Never seen a newbie asking whether he should quit his job, or dont do it, because he is a pro at trading. Being a trader is not easy. Person should realize that if he was lucky with one trade, that wont happen all the time. I see trader as a person that spends whole day behind several screens and monitors market for a profitable deal, while reading crypto related news. While at work, you could just work from 9 to 5 and go home. Is person really ready to work more if he is not sure that result will be successful?

Crazy decision to be made by anyone since we cannot really earn a fortune for trading in first year of our career here maybe they should learn first before they quite since they will break everything what they have if they risk their future for tradings we know bear market always strikes and its dangerous if we caught and left bag holding since we possibly end up broke and became homeless if we push this idea.

Not completely crazy, although trading really isn't something I would recommend for those that are new to either cryptocurrencies or trading in general, because of their extremely volatile nature, a seasoned trader probably will have a lot of fun, because of its volatile nature. There's definitely profits to be made, and you could also argue that holding Bitcoin long term, might be as risky depending on your faith in the technology.

I wouldn't recommend anyone quits their job, to pursue something they've not had experience with. However, if you are good at it, and have enough experience then I why not. Bitcoin trading is as profitable as anything really. 

You guys know nothing, there are pro traders out there that spend their time to learn everything about trading, they dedicated lots of time and now it's paying off, ive seen too many people that life alone on crypto trading, trading isn't easy that's why many run from it but when you get a hold of it your life will never remain the same

Crypto is just another source of profit and still passion is the most important thing to prioritize.

I know that most of us wants to earn money and become successful, but we should also realize that there are some things that we should set in priority so everything is under control.

Also, cryptocurrency is much risky compared on doing your job so learn how to manage risk.

It's not as simple as you can imagine. You need to put away your time and money then you will get dependent on this. The more cash you have in, the more you need to check. Since, It's hard not to look so this is a genuine issue. I used to be like this, now I just don’t care anymore. At the end, it's profitable to me so no matter what I'm in.

you can see or view trading as an easy task for every trader but for traders, its really hard there are lots of things you need to know, needs to read graphs, how the market starts, and close those things are very important, next is because there are lots of coins in the market you need to choose what to trade daily, because tokens and coins are steady in an hour then, go down in seconds or minutes, for sure they still don't know the stress of trading, because if they only knew they will think of quitting their day job.

There are many threads already created like this. And many times already described the difference between real life job and the virtual trading life. The answer is the same virtual life earnings is act as a bonus point for someone and real life job is the best things to keep hold it strongly.

So I would like to say people never should quit the real life job for doing the crypto trading, Because nobody can guaranteed that crypto trade always give you the wins. But the real life job is permanent (very lower chance to lose the job, ex, covid 19) and most of the case the family and the society give you respect according to your real life jobs. 

I think it's a wise choice for anyone. But it depend on what work they are currently in.
I know that trading is a high risk activity, but if it is done with the right knowledge and experience, one can still make a profit for a certain period of time. So, if someone can maximize their potential and make big profit in trading, then they should start their own business if previously they only depend on other people especially if they work in a place that doesn't generate a decent income.

It really depends to be honest. Some people do find themselves happy when trading and satisfied everytime they learn anything about it. What matters is that they must not all in their savings and income in trading and investing. If it would be a source of income, it would tell others that it would not be that stable and still remind them that invest and trade only what you can afford to lose. There are tons of people that chose trading and worked out pretty fine, why? Because they love what they do and they know what they can and cannot do.

In many ways, trading in crypto is similar to trading on the stock market. There are very few winners and the few that do have dedicated their life to mastering it. New users to crypto trading can fall prey to many traps, I would say the biggest one is believing they will keep winning when they have always been riding a trend. Take the recent burst of activity with Dogecoin recently, some will have done very well with it, buying and selling throughout. That doesn't make you an expert by any means, because you have joined in a manic market. Once you figure out ways to profit consistently (like when the bubble bursts) and over a period of years, then you might actually be skilled and not gaining by simply being part of the herd. Another trap is not diversifying with your profits - it's great you made money, but you should take some out and keep it in other assets. Even the best experts go through bad times and it can be crushing if all your money gets wiped out due to one or two shocks that were unexpected. If you have money elsewhere you can recover, if you don't, back to the day job.

Because you can trade from anywhere so far as there is good reception, and also facts that capital is intensive in trading, to quit ones job without a strong reason and when capital is low and will not yield good profit in trading is not wise.

If you must quit your job because of trading, let it be that the job is taking all your time such that it affects other side activities you involve in like trading, and the paycheck is not a sufficient equivalent of the amount of time you put in, and that you have gathered enough capital, knowledge and experience to get you on your way.

Well, the truth is that "no man tests the depth of a river with both feet." That goes a long way to explain the huge risk of drowning that could arise from such a thoughtless action. However, I do know that there are many traders who quit their jobs once they become profitable. The ones who still keep a paid job while trading are those who aren't profitable. If you've an idea of what profitable traders rake in weekly in profit you will know it's pointless keeping a paid job.

You’re absolutely right man. I remember one time that my friend decided to quit his job because he made so much money in crypto trading along with airdrops and bounty programs. He bought a new house worth more than $20k. However, his biggest mistake is that he already quit his job without being financially stable.

Relying on cryptocurrency trading (and being lucky on airdrops and bounty programs) isn’t making us financially stable. Because of that, his finances have dwindled quickly and even reached out to me to borrow money. I donated him $200 instead to at least help him survive.

But right now he had a stable job at the factory where the company sells kerosene. He had a decent salary at least, but this time, he won’t quit the job while still being active on cryptocurrency trading.

Same thing goes to me. I made a mistake relying on trading, bounties and airdrops alone. As a result, my money went downhill even months before the pandemic began. Right now, I am blessed of my stable job with a couple of crypto companies and ain’t planning to quit as they make me financially stable for now, but I am still hungry for more stable income apart from my online gigs that helped me get back what I’ve lost.

While you are true, I don't agree with your all points. It's very risky to trade daily unless you have good knowledge about what you are doing and they (traders) shouldn't quit their job, there's nothing wrong for HODLer to quit their job. There are a lot of early BTC miner, HODLer who have now turned into billionaire with a very small amoun invested. Why do they need to carry on their shitty 9-5 job while they can enjoyn their life with their own things? I'm planning to quit the job in the next few years too  :D

Trading is something i have seen the equivalent methods as advantages and disadvantages in the same time, engaging into trading is good but is not to the extent of quiting in a job, except it's a situation whereby in the morning and night you are on system alone for Trading, so the advantages aspect of trading come this way, you might achieve a huge profit via trading through out one month interval without experience lost, while the disadvantages, can come and take off all the generated profit made for one month trading, so in nutshell, I'm trying putting these to everyone that trading is not what we can hope on, is better you have option A  first for any othe thing and let trading represent your options B, because their is no assurance in trading to make a profit consistently.

Imagine leaving your stable job and regular income to a platform where all uncertainties are endless and possible. Though trading may yield significant profit (depending on the capital), it can also have the potential to backfire especially if you are a newbie to the trading world.

Personally, trading cryptocurrencies is a double-edged sword. One has to really understand the market and study the technical analysis in order to have a reliable forecast on their prices in the future. Be reminded that relying on a irregular flow of income may be harmful long-term especially if you have daily/monthly obligations to meet.

I don't have any income in cryptocurrency yet although I have currently made some purchases for bitcoin and some potential altcoin that I will invest in long term. So resign a real job is not a good option for me to do now.

There are consequences that must be considered by anyone who is as a trader if they want to leave a real job and I think they should make sure the estimated asset they currently manage have been able to build other businesses that are equally profitable. Price volatility is another thing every trader should consider if they want to quit their job.

None of us can predict the future of cryptocurrencies including bitcoin and all the altcoin that are currently tradable. So it would be better to keep working while collecting profits from trading to invest in other businesses in the real world without having to resign from his job.

Seriously I believe you shouldn't have one one source of income if you are having a job then I will advise you not  to quit your job for a trading and if you are a trader I will advise you to have another source where you get money from if you really want to make it in life you should have different source where you get money from. You can be a full time trader and get another job or business which will just be like part time business and if you are having a job you can make trading part time business.

Unless and until you are equipped in trading earning more than what you are earning from your job, than do not quite your job. Start trading as a part time job, learn its pros and corners and analyze what you are able to invest and how much you are able to take returns from the capital. Its common to all new traders to jump into it without much experience. Its not wrong but yes learn, stand by your own and yes quite your job.

The circumstances may not be as you view it buddy, look at a YouTuber who always give update to his viewers and give some insight about what's the hot thing in cryptocurrency and trading can do the two together with out affecting the other part. It will even make it easier for him to give more content to his subscribers from his experience and journey while making thread in the market.
The thing is, don't ever quit your job because of trading as anything can happen and the other may be your safe haven.

Crypto trading is a part time job that can be flexible with all kinds of real jobs or other jobs. Crypto trading can be done anywhere and anytime.
Do not leave the main job if crypto trading does not affect the main job.
There's a lot to think about, if it's just a beginner and trying your luck, real work is to support your capital in crypto trading.

If you want to leave your main job, of course your trading income must be consistent and will guarantee your life in the future.

There are traders, the good ones that settle for good and can stay be a trader all the days of their lives especially if they've learned different charts and patterns. They can analyze and do technical analysis and as well as fundamental analysis which can help them to survive in different seasons of the markets so having one or two sources while being a trader can easily be done by them but, most of them are choosing freedom.

This is the reason why many newbies fail because they always live up with their fantasy and think about always winning when they do trade but in reality we cannot really assume that in a day we can earn decently knowing market is so unpredictable and even how good you are doing a technical analysis still this will never give any guarantee that we can precisely hit our targets. That's why its always better to stay on your job and do trade since for this we can make our life stable and away from being broke.

It is difficult for a trader to quit his job just because the market fluctuate all the time. Some of them may be able to make hundred to thousand of dollars a month but they cannot be consistent with their profit. That's because price fluctuation are the main problem.

The win is on the investors side where they can generate high ROI as they invested in bitcoin and some altcoin in the past to present. I believe 90% of investor who bought bitcoin since 2015 with a capital of $5000 for 20 or 21 bitcoin and held them until 2021 at least until april can quit their job once they profit by selling all the bitcoin. No job in government can earn like that in just 6 years unless they are corrupt. So if someone want to quit their job just because they are interested in bitcoin or altcoin then become an investor.

In my country if someone spends as much as $2000 every month just to make end meet then they are rich people. So the 21 bitcoin he bought in 2015 could support him for 60 years. This is just my guess.

One thing people ought to avoid in life is limitations. Don't even think of giving yourself one for a second! Limitations keeps you away from the opportunities or rewards that follow whatever. Its a high stake risk to live what comes with a lot of assurance for something that has a probability nature about it. I've never seen anyone that we could say is smarter than the market, you can only try.

So, dumping your job or career for cryptos is not a bad idea. What stops you from having two streams of income? Try a merger and you just might win in both.

I don't think trading is that greedy that you cannot be trading and still be doing your work. If it's truly a passive income, you should find a way to combine both and grow your portfolio.

Trading is someone's investment,creativity,time and business.;someone sat down to program everything including the BOTS that trade for most companies too. Now if you're trading forex and maybe you didn't read the news for the day properly so you ended up selling gold when the market is set to buy: automatically you're running on loss,the candles are useless and will keep reading minus.

The company and its affiliations are all making huge profit daily as you lose coins so how then will someone with his right senses abandon his job for trading? No body does that anyways

You make some important points but some people's decision when make profit trading from time to time especially during this season that the market is always bullish will surprise you because when they are making awesome profit they always thought that how the market will always be. This remind what some Twitter influencer tweeted " in the bullish market every trader is an experienced trader".

Not everyday is Sunday, crypto is bullish and majority of people these days are in profit but this bullish season wont last forever. Market has to take correction after such a massive bull run that may last for weeks or months. IMO best strategy in crypto trading is to HODL i.e. buy at low and hold till you get your target price. If you are a HODLER then you don't need to see market all the time nor you need to quit your job. Its really that simple.

Of course yes! I would not recommend quitting a job for trading, especially for beginners. The Crypto world is very risky, even businesses are risky but at least it is easier to have a stable income from a physical business than trading. Though there are some people who are earning only from trading, most of them have joined crypto years back! So they know everything about crypto and they are always ready to take the risk.

I don't understand where they get the idea that that is even an option. I blame all the hype influencers that are honestly misleading people. They do more harm than good. Crypto should be treated as a social experiment and perhaps a way to boost up your home budget. Everything else is just fools gold.

If you are newbie, never do it because it will be very risky and you may lose your job and money.
If we are not newbies but we still cannot put our time and efforts maximally to trading, also don't do it.
If we cannot still have good management and also readiness, also don't do it.
If we thin that we are ready at all, with the fund management, risks, income, ad also daily activities, yeah we can do it for trading.

Trading on its own is always like a double side coin, whereby you could make profit or lose. But quitting your job to trade is the biggest mistake anyone could ever make. Because in life there is always a provision for a backup plan, and a job is a backup plan in case of any lose in trade.

It depends how you trade, if actually you are inquisitive or desperate in trading you will not have time to perform other duties or function provided that you are a trader, because trading require time factor which your other functions will not allow you to concentrate immensely in order to monitor your trading movement, the reason while some people lose in trading is because of not be conscious of time factor or misused of time frame, like during trading some people fall asleep and within the range of time they won't be able to detect when Market is against.

You can consider leaving your job only if trading and investing in cryptocurrency support the needs of your family and take about the same amount of time as the main place of work. Thus, trading will cease to be a hobby for you, and in this case you should become a professional trader.

I bet no one can full fill this requirement. Crypto is bullish these days and almost anyone can make profit in such circumstances, only those who get over excited because of this bull run can think of quitting the job. Relax, this bull will be over soon and bears will take over. Those who think quitting there job won't ask such question once we are in bear season.

I have seen many people wondering if they should quit their job just because they started making profits.
What they don't understand is it is not necessary that they will continuously make profits in consecutive trades.
They might even lose money in the bear market if they don't execute the right trades.
Yet they are determined to quite their job. One should never quit their job before they have 5 years of experience in trading crypto.
Also, if you are young then you can take the pressure of doing a day job while still trading crypto part time.
This will increase your sources of income which you can again use in trading.

Even since about 2013 I've been trading bitcoin and I've been working at a company I didn't leave that. I'm trying to run side by side. I want to keep having a lot of friends from all walks of life. Although I know the money opportunities from crypto currently exceed my salary at the company. Although I believe today Crypto traders can be used as a job and make money.  But if you're a new person who knows crypto and immediately wants to give up your real job, then that's not what I recommend. Crypto has a greater risk that even your money can run out overnight.

For a professional trader, there is no difference at what stage the market is. Since in this case, the use of margin trading allows you to make a profit on both bullish and bearish markets. Last year, when there was a lockdown, for me the profit from trading for several months was the only source of income.

Solid 5 years of experienced will allow you to understand both up and down that's happening inside this venue of investment.

Quitting your day job is possible if you already master the right way of making money from your everyday trade. Most of those who are successful in this industry take a lot of time before they finally find the right system.

Value your day job, only decide if you see yourself making good money that can sustain 1-2 years of your daily needs, adjustments,

Emotions must be set aside while thinking or making decisions about such things. There are people who can made profit even in bear market but they are very few in numbers and have in depth knowledge about crypto trading. New commers or Amateur Investors must value there job and keep crypto trading as side option. If you play sensibly even part time crypto can give you more profit then your job.

Like Pamadar mentioned below you, that 5 years should already be enough unless you're not taking crypto trading seriously leading surely to eggs and zeroes.
If you're still not quite comfortable within those years, then surely you had wasted your life and have not learned anything and surely sticking to your job would be really a good idea at that moment.
I haven't recalled someone quitting their job yet for crypto.

I was employed before I started crypto and I think of quitting but then I realized it was a stupid decision because I don't have enough skills to be successful in trading. As they say, slowly but surely, so that's what I did, I was just lucky that some of my holdings in the past pump and it give me enough profit to start my business outside crypto, that way I have a different source of income as we never know how our journey will end up in crypto's risky world.

A stable source of income is a must these days in able for you to survive and believe that having a stable job will also sustain your trading activity which is good either you will win or lose in trading your life status will not be affected. I don't agree that years matter, even though you are in 10 years of being a good trader, it won't really have an effect on crypto trading not unless you have a magic that can able to see in the future, the crypto market is unpredictable and non on e knows what will be the possible price. So there's no really have guarantee.

I agree with you. It's actually really a harsh world in here. People need to consider their decision really well and not only just impulsively jump to the crypto world without any preparation just because of hype. It's a different thing with those who actually unemployed. People who actually got a real job need to keep their real job while learning cryptocurrencies in their spare time. A real job will guarantee your life meanwhile crypto will increase your income. Make it a side job instead of main job if you can.

Leaving your present job for crypto trading makes no single sense at all. Human beings are supposed to have stable paying jobs and also have a different avenue of making money. A side hustle is always advisable no matter how big or small it could be. Cos in this life nobody can't tell what job will keep sustaining and the other fail.

The world we live in now needs a diversified means of survival than depending on or forfeiting the other.

If you stick to day trading, which allows you to get a good profit, then you will not be able to combine it with work in the office. I have had of people who quit their jobs for the sake of crypto trading many made it big while some went bankrupt. I think it would be more preferred if one trades while maintaining their regular jobs

There's a sense if the person leaving his job is already good in trading and sees a lot of advantage for choosing the trading path. To us that rely on employment, we're going to think this way. But there are people that really see themselves better on the other path like trading.

Don't forget that there's also the business side where people are good in making businesses and don't want to work for someone. Instead, they want to be the boss of their own. Have free time and more freedom.

In my own perspective I'll choose to leave my daily job and focus the trade. You need to take a risk in order to be successful for me if you Only focus on your daily job.

Many persons are victims of this particular act, the fact that you trade Bitcoin shouldn't make you feel comfortable and disregard physical business ideas. As a newbie, it's not wise to focus on trading/investing fully, except to say you have means of income elsewhere aside the crypto world.

I understand what you mean by physical investment and how we can minimize the risk of fluctuation in the price of bitcoin and altcoin as trading and investment asset. Investing in bitcoin and most of the altcoin can be a mean of making profit in a certain period of time be it short term or long term. We can't expect profit anytime because the price will never be stable. Fluctuation become the determining factor whether we can make a profit or not.

So, we should also start to think that physical investment is also a profitable investment vehicle where we can get minimal profit when the price start to rise and this option is also included in the strategy of having a reserve fund when the market start to become hostile "big correction" and we can't sell it in a down market.

Unless and until you do not have any financial commitment monthly, yes its well and good to leave the job and focus on trading. Here most of us hesitate / think often to take decision to leave their current job and move on to trading as they do have monthly financial commitments. As we can expect monthly standard income from trading, many do not leave their regular job. So if you and your dependent are not depend on your job and your income then yes leave your job and jump into trading.

trading crypto is like a job with no insurance, the crypto market crashes and you're in the negatives waiting for it to comeback up again and you have bills to pay, just like a job with no insurance, you crash into something and you break your leg or something, you have to wait until you you heal but you have bills to pay, the best thing someone can do is both, that's if he can, if you already have a good respectful job and insurance got your back if something bad happens, just stick with it, it's guaranteed unlike trading which is literally gambling.

There is no stable source of income in trading, even experts in trading maybe experience losses and it could be easily to wipe out your money in trading and you can't able to survive because you don't have other source of income.

In my thinking, I would suggest to follow personal feelings, I know many that are so hard-working right now with the goal of an early retirement, not everyone love the everyday preparation, for work and the rigorous working activities just to come back stressed and tired, so it's fine to work out a plan to work for a period of time and then retire, more retirees don't want to stop earning or making money, but they want it dependent, like they decide the time for work and when not to, trading and crypto-currency investment is one they chase after, so I don't think it wrong if one retires Early to chase this goals.

There are numerous examples (not related to crypto specifically) of people going all-in on their dreams, businesses, ideas, projects, and making it work to their advantage. Because the culture of the community here is certainly a village people who still lack knowledge about trading in the crypto world. I agree with this, before you leave your job make sure that you have enough money to sustain your daily needs cause as you said above you can not predict the outcome of the price cause not all the time the price goes up. So far some people may have quit their main job just because they have managed to make money from crypto better than their main job. As one example, I have a friend who works as a worker in a jewelry store and earns $100-$200 per month, but since he got to know crypto, he has managed to make over $500 every month. He bought mining equipment, he was focused on continuing to do it and I don't think it was ever a problem for his finances.

Even for nine years of knowing Bitcoin to this day I still work at a sugarcane milling company. There are some classic reasons for this problem. My background in life in the village is to work leaving in the morning and coming home in the afternoon. Let me make an example, if someone has a job and begin to trade crypto, if the job he is not making money in his job compare to trading, he will later want to quit and he can quit. Agree with you mate. The OP is very scared on losing the job or business since its a source of sure income for daily needs while trading can't guarantee that you will have profit on your daily. Trading is unorthodox way as source of income since you can win big on short period of time or the opposite result.

His job does not earn him a commensurate income, that would be the basic context of why he prefers to focus on his own business in crypto. If a trader feels like quiting his job for trading  that trader should be well established  by having other business as income before taking such decision. Depending on only trading for living can be risky, you really can't tell what can happen along the lines.

I don't know how regulation will be made, but it looks like cryptocurency has a pretty good future. For now maybe if you have a kingdom that you have been working on then continue. Nowadays crypto is a side job that may be able to increase your amount of wealth. But in my area it can't be the main one. In addition, the social situation of my area has a very high sense because I am live in the village. It's quite strange if I'm just at home and have a lot of money and fancy buildings. 

There could also be those people that even they're not yet established and experts in trading, they're just leaning onto their own instinct and thinks that they can survive the hardship of being a full time trader. The treatment of crypto trading for them is it's like a business that they should work on. That's why the risk that they take is more than the usual if they're only relying their income and living expenses into trading. Because we know that it's not everyday profit.

Have seen lot's of people complaining about the job they do that is really stressful and the money they get from crypto trading is far more than the salary they collect from the job, so must of them are planning to quite their job because they are making much money in trading and is less stressful. I will never advise anybody to quite job because of trading, trading can fail you at any moment so is better you have a backup plan, which is better you get a job or you have your own personal business.

I totally agree with his suggestion. because crypto trading is far from stable. because the price is fluctuating. so a backup plan is necessary when experiencing losses in the crypto market. namely by continuing to work outside of crypto trading. because I prefer crypro trading as a side job. even if you earn more from crypto than your job. but believe me in crypto will not profit forever. there is a time for you to lose. and that's where we'll be really grateful not to quit our jobs.

Really? Most profitable trader and still want to have a job? For me if Im in this position where most of my trades are profitable then I will surely quit my day job, start a business and become a full trader actually you dont need a job anymore if you are the most profitable trader. In trading you can earn in a month 10x what you can earn in a year from your day job but in order to make this as you said you need to be profitable enough from your trades. You will only need a job if your trading skills is like 2/10 meaning you only have 2 wins in every 10 trades which is not profitable.  

I quit my job because the payment isn't worth the hassle, also my country's currency is less valuable than USD so getting paid in USD makes more sense when exchanging for Fiat, I'm all into crypto now and I already have a mining farm too, I prefer a life where I can be my own boss and have my freedom.

If most of your trades are profitable and you decides to quit your job and start a business it is a good plan ,atleast you have a good source of income which you are sure you can always get money from,  you won't wont to depend on your cryptocurrency to much , even if their is loss you won't feel it that much because you already have a source of income. I wouldn't advice any newbie or anyone at all to leave there job for trading. Trading is very risky and it could all crash within a blink of an eye, so it always good to have insurance, something like a pole of risk, like something you can run back to when your trading start falling. So never quit your job for trading, besides it always good to have multiple source of income.

You're very lucky it turned out good for you and you should be happy about that because not everyone can say thesame. I know you're established already but having a stable job that pays even if its not much is always better. It always feels different knowing you are expecting payment at the end of the week or at the end of the month.

I have already quit my job for crypto, in my country we have jobs that pay too less for your hard work every month, I am talking about salary earners, be expecting 50$ per month and mehn, crypto has given more than this in a week, its worth quitting your job if payment or salary is too low.

I can't imagine some just doing it like that. Making crypto as your primary source of income is not the great way to go. It is going to be horrible in the long-run even if you are earning in the first few days.
If people would really want to be in crypto industry as their primary source of income, freelancing is a great way, but not just mainly trading and SCs. SCs are unreliable source of income, it should be just in the side ones.

It makes sense if we quit our main job to get other more commensurate income including trading compared to the results of our main job. I ruled out signature campaigning as a job because it's a side job, but specifically for trading, we can actually make it a better job compared to $50-$100 for your main job monthly salary.

Of course there is a risk that we must bear in the long term but you can still start a new business from the results you get from trading such as opening a new business that you are interested in. But I believe there is always a way to survive the main job in the real world especially since we can trade not 24 hours a day.

Generally I feel if one has to go far in trading. He/She has to give it an undivided attention. That way things and principles can be grasped easily and comfortably.
Having a job and trading at same time is way stressful and most likely lead to errors  because the job itself requires undivided attention to be the best at it.. Two masters can’t be served at same time. yeah right. if the salary from daily work exceeds the income from crypto then don't leave the job. but if the work done gives a low salary. there is nothing wrong with choosing to jump into crypto as long as we really understand and master the crypto trade itself. because if you don't know or master krypto itself, it's better to keep your job even though the salary is small.

Yes I think having more expertise it would be better to meet our needs. Focusing on just one job sometimes makes us feel that we are not enough. The money is really too low, but I don't know the part of the world which you are from, some places their standard of leaving is low and $50 can go a little way. To me, if the trading or investment income we make over the course of a year is equal to the total average income from other jobs we also did in 15 years, then I think we should be safe leaving that job to trade or invest. I don't know why, but to me, I've never seen investing in cryptocurrency as something that requires all your attention to the extent that you will have to quit your Job for it. If you are sure that you are able to earn money by trading, then just take a vacation from work and try to devote a few weeks of this time to active trading. I see your point there. People should not be tunnel-visioned on how much they are earning in something that is not going to last in the long-term. It is true. and in fact that I saw recently there was even a friend of mine who was determined to quit his job in the real world just to jump into the crypto field. whereas I warned him to reconsider because crypto is not as beautiful as he imagined.

I deposited my money in any project and at that time I just had a dispensation fund because the company I worked for stopped operating. that's cold money, but still when the project is a scam or the price is too low and falls, it's not effective when used for reserve funds because shitcoin is so volatile and steep.

There was a point in my life when I seriously thought of quitting my job to go into crypto full time. There was also a time when I lost my job and crypto was all I did full time. Funny isn't it. The thing is, I think it all comes down to the individual, his or her level of experience in trading crypto, personal savings etc. I know some folks who have risked it all and gone into trading crypto full time after they quit their job and luckily enough they made it. Quititng Job is worst mistake one can do. There are bear seasons where your investment may struck for weeks and months, what you do during that season to feed your family? Not everyone is good in day trading, majority of day traders are in loss. To me crypto is best as part time job, keep your job to get constant stream of income while invest in crypto to get additional profit which you can invest somewhere.

It's not the worst mistake depending on the case. If you're being mentally abused already in workplace, I am not sure why you would stay longer in your full-time job. Depending on the reasoning, it could be a really bad mistake or the best one you could ever do. Job hopping is not that bad if you already have a good amount of experience. At first I did what you described. Cryptocurrency work became a side job and a main job in the real world became my main source of income. But over time, I was laid off from my real job because the company went bankrupt. and currently only working in cryptocurrency as a trader and working on the bounty signature that I am currently following.
Crypto jobs are indeed very risky, but if we know what to do and how to earn money from crypto, it can be a source of income that exceeds real work. It depends on how we want to try or not.
If it's still possible to have both jobs that's even better.

When you already have a good paying job its not advisable to quit your job and go into crypto trading because a fish at hand they say is better than a thousand in the river. If you've always dream to be a trader its not bad chasing your dream you can always combine both jobs and gradually when you are stable enough you can now decide on which one to quit.

This post, and advice per se is very timely. I contemplated quitting my employment some months back to delve into crypto and Forex generally, but no enough capital. So I decided to keep the employment untill I generated enough needed capital.

Trading crypto should be a side hustle, it doesn't worth quitting you job, quitting your job can only be done if you have another stable source of income to maintain you. Assume you invested all of your money in Bitcoin when the price was around $50k and you're waiting for a price increase to take your profit; now that the price has dropped to around $20k, how can you profit? Always consider the risk involved in any investment before beginning; take the time to learn about what you are about to begin; don't just do your job because you know you are a great trader; no one can predict what will happen tomorrow, so always take chances.

I will never advice anyone to quit it job or business for cryptocurrency or forex or anything as such. Cryptocurrency is nothing that guarantees you success, At least in a job you are assured of getting paid by the end of the month but in cryptocurrency is not so. Not just easy because as we all know that in trading no one is perfect in short we make some mistakes that lead to us losing our profit, not all the time but if our unlucky day has come no one can say that we are always successful in trading. We must stay focused on our main job to sustain our needs, because crypto is just for support only and do not make it as a source of income .

No matter how good you are at trading, there will be times of loss and you should know that the market is very unpredictable, we cannot be sure what this market will be like in the future.
Cryptocurrency can be a place where you can make a lot of money but it is a nascent market compared to forex or stocks so the risks are huge, it may be broken or completely banned by the government where you live...
Outside work sometimes it only gives you a meager salary but it is steady and sure. Smart people always find ways to diversify sources of income, and should not depend on just one source because life is always full of surprises, always have a plan B for the future.

What's good now is that crypto isn't just limited to trading. But various job offers are also in here specially to the successful projects that are hiring developers and managers.

Actually I do the same situation but I guess it becomes mistake because currently the market is not showing a good uptrend and today it is quite hard to find a job because of the qualifications they really needed in the industry still it is better to make a background in the job at the same time it is an experience that can be use to apply and use the trading as just a sideline because it is really costly to have it. But if OP will well prepared to make a trade and knowledge nothing wrong to do with a full time as a trader.

Quitting you job for cryptocurrency is not something anyone should do, bitcoin is something I will say it like a gamble, because all of it is based on predictions and forecast, it not something that is certain but with you job you are guarantee of earning your salary no matter how little it is but it something you can count on. So it better to have something you can count on rather than something that is base on mare forecast.

It is foolish for a trader to rely on his trading in cryptocurrencies only and leave his job, the job must be the primary source of income that cannot be dispensed with, and trading is a sub-source of income so that if the trader loses his money in trading, he finds another source of livelihood that provides him with the money he needs to pay Rent, electricity bill, internet, and others, trading needs money in excess of the needs of the trader and he can lose it and do not regret it because the field of cryptocurrencies is full of risks, so the trader must be smart and not leave his job or sell what he owns.

I would also think that considering trading and investing crypto as a source of income or whatever it is that I can earn money but it comes with a risk won't be considered as a main source of income just like trading where there is a risk thennI won't considered it as a source or income just like in investing.

Trading is just a secondary source of income. Your job should be still the primary source of income because trading is too risky. You don't know if you can gain profit because of market volatility and also if the coins you choose to trade is good and can give you luck to earn profit.

It can be an actual job for those professionals who have been living with the market.

This should be the norm, for those that are doing part-time trading. There's no need for them to quit their jobs because they can do two things at the same time. They can treat trading as a side hustle while keeping going with their main jobs. Having two or more sources of income nowadays is the wisest thing to do and can help to defeat inflation and keep up with the increase in the price of goods.

maybe different when the trader is already a professional in day trading. so that he can earn from trading daily for necessities.
but it's true, trading in the crypto market is something very flexible. we can do it anywhere and anytime. even just taking time off from work, we can do that too. no need to rush out of work for experience in day trading. we never know what the future fate of our trade will be. maybe this week we are lucky, but no one will ever know tomorrow.

It never advisable to quit your job just to engage in cryptocurrency, like you job stand as a pole of risk in case you fail in bitcoin because investing in bitcoin is also like gambling nothing is certain and promised. Investing in bitcoin is totally based on forecast and predictions so it not advisable to quit something that is based on mare forecast or predictions to something that is certain.

Crypto trading is so widespread that every single person wish to be a part of it but not everyone has understanding about it. Actually people appetite to be rich in one night but it is demanding not only in crypto but in all other zones. People should aware of every signal thing analogous to crypto trading and once it is initiated so do not leave it because with more practices gaining will be more attractive.

It is always good to have multiple sources of income.  So it is always good to keep our job while we are trading.  Trading often times is unpredictable.  In trading, we may profit a huge amount of money or lose it all.  Having job will save us if ever our trading activity doesn't go well.
