I'm always using both sites to get the latest news about altcoins. i often use cryptorank to get the news for the small coins but you can also try to get specific news through CMC as well. These sites are good sites based on my experience.

I also read both sites, just not very often because I prefer to read cryptocurrency news via Twitter and Instagram so I rarely visit these two sites, even though the news on these sites is also a lot of useful.

Before I was also a fan of this website but anymore today. AFAIK, they've been closed and there's no update anymore from them. I've looked at the market section of their website and it's no longer updated. The last upload was since this February. Don't forget that there's also the new page for yahoo that they're also into cryptocurrency and bitcoin news too already.

Mainly from Twitter and https://cryptopanic.com/. I used to use reddit but it seems biased for some coins and some things are just upvoted unproportionally because there are army of supporters of certain projects and those supporters happen to be active reddit users with probably several accounts. And it's not that my sources not biased are but at least in twitter i can choose my sources and cryptopanic gives some variety to them too.

Twitter is indeed my favorite thing to look for cursory information with understandable conclusions. Currently there are several sites that provide crypto information services. I think everyone else has given you some of those registrations, and that's more than enough if you get in the habit of reading.

All news about crypto will be easily found anywhere based on your activity on the internet, and will appear on the main page. I am sure you will have no trouble finding it.

I have select places I get my regular crypto fix. On the top of that list is Cointelegraph, then cryptoglobe, and then 1 or 2 other random crypto sources. My problem with mainstream news desks is they don't understand crypto and usually give wrong info about it

mainly I follow a lot of influencers on social networks like twitter and eliminated the bullshit they say when they promote projects just because they are paid, they are a great tool to keep track of the news almost in real time.
I enjoyed following the tweet exchange with Elon Musk this weekend.

https://cryptopanic.com I have always used this website and they are by far the best at what they do. Sure there are good news websites about crypto but this website collects them all, all the good websites, all the bad websites, all the known famous peoples crypto tweets, basically it is purely a place where you can get all the info and news about crypto in one place instead of going to many different places.

This is why I think it is quite honestly the best website there is out there for getting news about crypto, because it is not just one place, it is all the places combined into one, what can be better than that? There is also comments section where you can see what people are saying about a certain thing, that comments/chat part of the website also allows you to not only get the news but also get the reactions to the news as well and that is very important.

General news sites are good enough for small coins. Because news about big coins affects small coins. Maybe you need a small coin reference like a channel pump or dumb. You can find it on twitter or telegram.

If you want information about a small coin, you can search on Twitter, you only need to find the keyword and you will find it, even the search algorithms on the internet or mass media that you use will definitely bring up similar news based on the intensity level of the information you often read

Mostly from Telegram groups, sometimes from twitter.
But sometimes the news just a late hype and you cant ride the wave anymore.
Becareful to entry based on news, maybe you will trapped in the peak price.

News about bitcoin being banned by the Chinese state in my opinion is a strong sentiment today the crypto market has experienced a big decline. just because of this sentiment bitcoin crashed at $ 30,000. and recovery in no time. My advice is that in conditions of high volume like now, keep money management in order to get the lowest price on spot trading for long-term investments

Medium and 0x maybe what you are looking for. Not actually new, they are the same as blog and you can get a lot of information. Remember to check the trend on those sites, they might tell you what are potential new coins at the moment. But not all coins are good. Cointelegraph, coindesk are suitable for scalp trading, short term investment

There is a lot that can be used as references and materials in learning crypto but for me, this forum is the best to start to explore crypto. A lot of sections here are talking about and discussing crypto space. So explore this forum, after that go to coindesk, cointelegraph, bnb social media accounts and crypto-related book are also useful and reliable.

I use several media to find information about crypto, for example social media such as telegram, twitter, and facebook, besides that there are also coindesk, coinmarketcap, and blockfolio. There are still many sources of information media that you can use, but it depends on the choice of each individual

I usually get the latest crypto news and updates in Coindesk and Twitter. I also visit Coinmarketcap most of the time. We must be very skeptical in choosing a trusted source of updates because fake news is everywhere nowadays. It's a good thing that trusted sites are filtering their information well before posting or broadcasting them.

Well, someone who is not an investment professional can start gathering information from crypto telegram groups, they update a lot of basic and useful information about the issues happening in the crypto market, through which we can also get a little more analysis from them, other media is also quite similar but sometimes it gets confused by quite a lot of different information and this is not a time saver. Small wonders and clear problem explanations need each individual to automatically come up with a solution like you said, relying on someone in crypto is not realistic

Frequently I use Coinbase pro for getting updated notifications about crypto. Coinbase are collecting crypto news from a various platform like- CoinDesk, Decrypt, Forbes, The Block and many more.
I use Coinbase cause I get all in one platform and it has a notification pop-up feature that I like most. I use their mobile app and keep up to date by getting notifications. Sometimes I use yahoo finance cause it is very authentic and I like their writing style.

This is what I first think when the OP asked about news of cryptocurrencies. The announcements section - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 alone, along with its child board - Tokens (Altcoins) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0, will give you specific updates for each coin, which, you can never get from other websites. If you want to follow a specific coin, just find their thread and they will give a very good insight on what's going on with their respective project.

While for global sources, mostly I read the news on CoinDesk, CoinTelegraph, Bitcoin Magazine, and CryptoSlate. I think these crypto news sites are enough to update the information daily.

The reason for not having news about smaller coins is that there is rarely anything worth or qualifying as "news" from small coins. The basics: project x is born join our telegram, exchange your strong bitcoin or ether for tokens of project x, project X ico is finished, project x is burning tokens, project x launches massive strategic alliance with.... (tesla, microsoft, IBM, General Motors,...), project x is on its way to moon... and then... nobody talks again about project x, telegram shutdown, web page down....

Why would you need news about project x?

I've also just check CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph because it's probably I think one of the top cryptocurrency news websites, but mostly I just go with CoinDesk and browse some crypto news.

But most of the time I just search on google for recent news especially on the cryptocurrency that I'm investing in or looking into since you the news you want is not always the front page of the websites so you need to research manually.

News doesn't really matter if you're investing in the long term but for a daily trader and short-term investors, it's a big deal, even rumors, and news on Twitter and telegram are important.

Smaller coins, what do you mean? Do you want a website to write junk coins on their site. Of course they will not, because every thing they write will be part of the promotion. CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph are unlikely to do this, as their sites are a reference section for investors.

Well, all of them for me is enough to find news, --these Coindiesk and Cointelegraph are the oldest groups that give the news to their followers and including me. One there is a news, all of them had the same issue regarding what being a trend as of now in the market like repeatedly mentioning Elon Musk. So I think, there's no need to find another source of news in crypto. Social media too are also good for this, Twitter, Telegram and etc that these two leading companies will always give a hot result and news.

Now a days i only check the updates when i see some hype forming in the exchanges trading pattern and then google it and find out what is happening in the market rather than following each and every detail like i used to in the past.

I love to read about the fundamental of cryptocurrencies and the newest news about cryptocurrency around the world. To accommodate my needs for information, usually I google for the fundamental information I need. So, it's a targeted question or keywords in the search column. For the newest news, I subscribed to a couple of telegram channels. They usually took the news or summarized it from special websites about cryptocurrencies. as an additional, I also lurking in bitcointalk threads. Sometimes I also get the news from the google news feature.

cointelegraph and coindesk are indeed my sources for looking for information about crypto. I also quite often see the speculations they make for the price development of popular coins. however, the news there was updated quite quickly. Besides that, this forum is also my source for finding information about new coins, or even anything new about crypto.

but now it looks like the information in the crypto community on social media is also very fast.
but for new coins that will especially be listed on major exchanges like binance and other exchanges. I follow the social media accounts of several exchanges to get the latest updates fast.

Why do you have to read it when you can watch the youtube podcast live of the bitcoin and crypto news channels. There are hundreds of them that even coindesk have their own channel where they explain what really goes on in the crypto space.

I turn them on all the time because sometimes the new becomes very valuable specially if they feature projects that has very high potentials.

Information about small coins is commonly found on cryptocurrency trading signal services. They choose to analyze small coins with the aim of getting bigger profits. The stakes between transaction volume and high volatility make the risks that traders have to face are very large.

I usually find information about the development of small coins here: https://t.me/s/tradeallcoin

Yes, coinDesk and cointelegraph are the leading and quality channels in this market, but I think those are the places where we all have that information in common. So getting some confidential information from projects will only be known quickly if we follow and pay attention to it, I usually do with projects that I like and participating in social channels as well. Finding out the information surrounding the plans they plan to build will help us have a broader view.

I never watched any podcast just yet, but sometimes I do quick clicks on Twitch random channels. Youtube Recommendation is quite not that okay for me since it just recommends me random stupid videos while I often search about crypto there.
Unless you can recommend channels that are legitimate there and not just paid to talk, I would just stick to Twitch.

Follow some of this list:

and that's where I started to know about crypto, at that time I only talked about bitcoin, and over time as digital developments progressed, crypto became more and more and I myself was still focused but didn't try to play new crypto..

What sites do you read?
For smaller coin you could get your news from research, and you can do it from linkin, or from any social media that your project related in. obviously it will be hard if the project is so small and lack of exposure in the first place, but sure you could find the news from insider such as telegram or medium.

Yes, there is nothing difficult in terms of looking for project news if someone always tries well through several ways, and one of them is like you said, what is difficult here is for those who are lazy to look for it, I think that's it.

I read news about crypto through Twitter because Twitter updates news very quickly so I get so much information about crypto both about small coins that can be invested and market developments so that it can be a reference to do my own research before investing.
same, I also read a lot of news from twitter. by following the blue ticked official accounts, we will often get updated information. I also follow several trader accounts who often share their information and analysis regarding the development of cryotocurrency prices. this is very helpful.
from the website, I often read articles on cointelegraph. I also follow several telegram groups and channels that actively share the latest info such as Ico analytics.

Twitter is certainly one of the social media that usually update information quickly. Even more, most people in the world are engaging with Twitter because it has a simple feature and easy to use. Although Twitter is a good place to update news, but you should ensure you follow trusted Twitter pages/channels. Remind that many fake news, not only for common issues but crypto issues as well.

twitter is a crowded place when it comes to cryptos . we must check if the source is reliable because some of them will only try to create fuds to disrupt the market .
i too read news in twitter but i only follow accounts with the most followers and accounts that have a blue badge on them because they are more trusted .
my other source for crypto news would be this forum

I know that there are many sites that are giving free news about crypto but as for me, I would like to stick to one or 2 sites or apps. Aside from that website, I often watch some news or some crypto updates on Youtube. I followed some popular Youtubers but not those who are hyping a coin blah blah.

If we are talking about the old altcoins announcement, maybe the answer will be telegram group. Actually, I don't follow any website news to track altcoins motivation. Most of the news is based on their prediction. We should fix our favorite altcoins then those altcoins social sites. Still, New ICO are risky without the good exchange IEO. I don't stick with a specifc site or few sites. I just look general news on the internet from different sources through the google's searching tool. This way it's possible to find the main crypto news from different sites, increasing the range of the search. Twitter is also a good tool to find news regard crypto currency through its hashtags or simple keywords related to crypto universe.
That is a pretty accurated method because more recent news will be displayed first so you don't lose anything.

Thanks to sharing my thoughts, why would someone like to use another website or apps when this forum is enough to get a proper announcement? Now I believe that one person can trace all of the altcoins. Joined a telegram group is enough to solve the problem, but my favorite list must be limited. Sometimes I follow only Twitter. I'm interested in following new projects without this forum, but Bitcoin IEO is my favorite.

There is likewise remarks segment where you can perceive what individuals are saying about something specific, that remarks/visit some portion of the site additionally permits you to get the news as well as get the responses to the news too and that is vital.

I believe there are many channels to follow up on crypto related news, some are on Telegram like CryptoWorldNews and many on twitter. The Important thing is to be mindful of some of the news or information you will get across to while some will be legit, others can be fud and all whatnot, so when you get sensitive information try to verify before you act on it, most especially from Twitter.
Also, most times, following top influencers or big players in the crypto space through twitter will give you the opportunity to get most legit news and information. Lastly, the news or information you are looking for will depend on what you want, that is, whether it is for general crypto news, a particular coin, upcoming projects or public sale news.

They're quick news on Twitter.

With those few words that you see and they're easier to understand but still at the end of those tweets when you're following the news there, they're attaching the articles from where that news came from.

For Telegram, I don't use it to track news, better to go after those reliable crypto news website that has been suggested repeatedly by everyone.

For me, it is always coindesk though I also check cointelegraph. But when it comes to particular projects, definitely, the go-to is this forum. You can get more substantial updates of each project here if you visit their thread. And then, if you want more, you can check their social media accounts. Because there are too much projects to check, you can only keep up with projects that you are invested with.

Cryptocurrency news needs to be accurate and it shouldn't be made in a way to support a particular thing. Earlier I used to watch a news platform where it is much about the bitcoin cash hype. Later moved from that, and my sources wer the news links available with coinmarketcap and cointelegraph. Most of the time I prefer few YouTube sources were briefing will be done in a better way.

I use a few platforms, because each has its own characteristics, so it would not be wise to rely on any one source.

Bitcoin Magazine is a good one, it is authentic and popular for publishing relevant news. and dedicated magazine for only Bitcoin. It is free from FUD & Hype so for the latest news you shouldn't rely on only Bitcoin Magazine.
CoinTelegraph, the largest crypto news source. Generally, I don't have much time for surfing over a thousand of news so I use their telegram channel to catch mostly updated news.
CoinDesk, my favorite one, I use this in my leisure period and most often I watch their tv shows and listen to featured episodes.

Plus, you can follow some of the best crypto writers like Anthony Pompliano, Cameron Winklevoss, and so on Twitter to keep up with the latest news.

Getting reliable news or feed about crypto is a challenge these days since mainstream media outlets usually gets the news muddled or just plain wrong. I usually do cointelegraph and whatever else catches my fancy
Actually it's also not a complicated thing to find the latest interesting news, because now everyone also knows which sites provide good news for everyone to follow so they don't have to think about new sites that create chaos in the form of news they produce write.

I read more news about crypto from social media, be it Twitter or Instagram, I think it's the same whether it's news from sites that contain crypto news or other social media. the most important thing is the news we know and the news about an altcoin that we want to get. if we want to find a news then we just choose between opening the site or looking on social media.

Every social media that discusses cryptocurrency news, it is enough to represent all the information that exists in the cryptocurrency world. YouTube Channel owner admins, or Facebook page admins usually get interesting news , then share it back with their subscribers. That way any news on other websites, of course, will be conveyed quickly.

In addition, I prefer to join the official telegram group, for example, I'm a BNB fan, so I have to join the Binance telegram group to get valid information early.
And there is a coindesk, cointelegraph and this forum that presents the latest cryptocurrency news.

With regards to news about crypto, I usually use Coingecko whenever I want to see an update on how the coins that I am currently eyeing and investing to is doing. I also get myself updated through bitcointalk wherein as I explore and look for a topic I can relate and share my thoughts with, I can easily get an idea on what's best to do with regards to the current situation. I find it very essential that staying updated about how is the market is currently doing because it can give you a hint or an idea of the best course of action with consideration to your current situation.

I think what's more important is we will never left behind with the current news because it's our own way too to be more knowledgeable so we can apply those new found information into trading, investing or even hodling coins with great potentials.

Coindesk and Cointelegraph are the best cryptocurrency news sites and the news provided is always new with clear evidence that it is not a hoax.
There are some recommendations from me, but I can't guarantee it will be better than the two sites, but at least enough to be a reference, the sites I mean Cryptocrunchapp and NewsBitcoinCom, sometimes I also look at Coinmarketcal, indeed this is a site for events, but very helps to find the latest information about what will be and is being developed

Here

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/

https://cryptorank.io/news

I'm always using both sites to get the latest news about altcoins. i often use cryptorank to get the news for the small coins but you can also try to get specific news through CMC as well. These sites are good sites based on my experience.
Cointelegraph and coindesk is probably the best crypto news provider out there. These two are very much professional in terms of giving out news update and very much far in terms of competition to others. However, there are other information giver in youtube which is quite legit. Altcoin daily and Coin Bureau is one of the best out there having internal details about the project and aiming for highest quality crypto news in youtube.

When it comes to smaller coins you can get them on their official social media and telegram channels, big advertising companies hardly covers smaller coins, they charge them with a huge fee if they are going to cover them, so if you invest in small or start-up coins always get the news in their official Twitter or telegram channel.

Coingecko that I see often. Besides Coinecko, there is another site that I frequently visit, namely Cryptorank which focuses more on coins.
You can also see other sites recommended by friends for your consideration in choosing and knowing about coins.
I myself also often use Coinecko to reference all cryptocurrency coins, but if the Coingecko site isn't there, I often see other sites like coinmarketcap, now these are the two sites that I often use and I rely on to see all cryptocurrency information.
Are there other sites besides Coinecko and Coinmarketcap that we can use to strengthen our comparison against crypto coins? Because it is common knowledge that Coingecko and CMC are excellent sites for reference about crypto coins.
I'm sure you have other sites, although not as detailed as the two sites we mentioned.

Usually just google about the coin or event that i wanna know then google will give us trusted source to the front. I don't really rely on the news because in cryptocurrency everything is fast paced. For me, i'm better to watch the social media (mostly twitter) to follow my investment coin updates, i follow their CEO, advisors, teams of coins or token that i hold for make sure i will get the most up to date information from them before it posted on the news

A little advice from me regarding support other than Coinecko and CMC, you can also use the Bituniverse app on your smartphone to see all the coins and you can also use it to see which markets each coin is listed in, so you don't have to rely on Coinecko and CMC.

What sites do you read?

When the coins are new it is normal that you do not find information about them.
But if you want to read cryptocurrency news, I recommend:

criptonoticias.com (http://criptonoticias.com)
Diariobitcon.com (http://Diariobitcon.com)
cointelegraph.com (http://cointelegraph.com)

If you want to know about new cryptocurrency projects:

https://coinmarketcap.com/airdrop/
http://twitter.com/AirdropDet
https://en.airdrop6.com/
ICOAnnouncement.io (http://ICOAnnouncement.io)

Cointelegraph is still one of the biggest & best crypto news however, sometimes you need a news feed that comes on the hour and consistently and for that, i simply use googles news feed and choose the cryptocurrency tag.
It doesn't always bring the highest quality news, but it does the job if you always want to be informed

Nowadays it's hard to find a trusted site that talks about coins, many of the sites we see are sites created by people based on news copies from other people, sites created not based on the analysis of experts who have recommended.

So to read every news on the site today is not so convincing, usually sites that have good references are more often published in legal places, to find fake sites need to look at the URL, lock the sign, watch the address is used and check the domain owner through "who is" .

Thus we can ensure that the news does not have the correct source and does not need to be followed let alone read the news.

well, I think, the fastest web to provide information about crypto is cointelegraph. So far, I'm more dominant looking for information there than in other places. I also like reading about predictions about the achievable prices for some altcoins.

Yes, twitter is the fastest and more efficient source of crypto news in my opinion. You can just follow a bunch of top personality in the crypto world, and you will get the current hot news in the crypto world even before the article is published. You can follow major news outlet like Cointelegraph et al. as well. I don't like to visit a news site since it's often bloated with ads and uninteresting news. In twitter, however, it usually only a headline and small paragraph, so you can continue scrolling or clicking the link if you want more comprehensive article.

For headlines, I visited Cointelegraph complete my reference and confirm each news to the project team on the main telegram channel.

There is no specific place or site for me to use as a reference in doing crypto trading. because I only analyze the daily chart for my use as a guide in direct trading. so I didn't read the site to know any altcoin developments. because there are so many sites today that are only looking for profit for themselves, regardless of the authenticity of the news published.

Yes , i am also Fan of those Sites but mostly i  getting News from Twitter and some telegram News Channels ,,, Twitter is i think one of the best places for news Regarding cryptocurrency oe except this also.
They're quick news on Twitter.

With those few words that you see and they're easier to understand but still at the end of those tweets when you're following the news there, they're attaching the articles from where that news came from.

For Telegram, I don't use it to track news, better to go after those reliable crypto news website that has been suggested repeatedly by everyone.

when someone advises us to know about crypto information updates of course he also advises to open and follow the right information, not the wrong information. like following information on twitter and telegram, I noticed that most of what was said there was always presented correctly, whether it was information about prices or some trending cryptos

social media Twitter, Youtube, cointelegraph and coindesk. some of these sources I often use to find information about crypto. I also quite often see the speculations they make for the price development of popular coins. However, the news there is updated fairly quickly. In addition, this bitcointalk forum is also my source for finding information about new coins, or even new things about crypto.
Pretty good, but I only use three media to find out the latest news for cryptocurrency and one of them also includes Twitter because many important people on twitter make very useful posts for cryptocurrency so I can also use that to support my knowledge.

Actually this is more to what we are used to open and use, so there is no need for praise either because other sites are also the same and provide the same news because they all make services to the public in terms of news, so if you want to praise just one of them, I think it's also very reasonable, but if I personally would commend everyone because they all tell about useful information for everyone.
