Title: how has TronBuilding avoided negative trust? (PONZI)
Post by: savetheFORUM on May 19, 2021, 02:17:04 PM
Usually all the ponzi schemes are painted in red but this one is missed, so please someone from DT tag them because I have tagged them but it won't be visible to new users who might get trapped in the ponzi.

Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5132632.0

Reason for accusing them? They are offering 254% returns within 65 days which to me in unrealistic and even offering other plans like 198% in 55 days.

Instead of using your alt account to open a thread in Reputation with a somewhat accusatory tone, you should have just posted a Scam Accusation from your main account. You might have even earned a merit or two.

The account you want tagged hasn't even posted in the thread since June 2020, and the scam was up by January 2021. Regardless, I see its been taken care of.

I promise you, this is my main account now, the other account I had is now inferior to this one so I have stopped using it a long time back. I don't know how to assure you of this but I am ONLY using this account and maybe because of the username you are bound to think I am using multiple accounts. As for merits, I don't think you should merit the person, I always think the content should be merited not the person. If you look at the usernames and faces before giving merits, I really cannot help but feel bad.

I don't know if you think of merits as FB likes which you will spend on your friends but that is not what it is meant to be, if you just merit your friends and don't care the content people are posting, there will be no new members who would ever rank up.

I HARDLY PARTICIPATE IN SIGNATURE CAMPAIGNS SO NOT SURE WHY SO MUCH EMPHASIS ON MY ALT ACCOUNT IS THERE.

The account you want tagged hasn't even posted in the thread since June 2020, and the scam was up by January 2021. Regardless, I see its been taken care of.

Problem is that it's still on the 1st page in that section and one can easily get scammed thinking that the only site in all the threads in this section that doesn't have a -ve warning is this one so this on must be legit. Yes it's taken care of now.

It's probably because no one made a scam accusation about it so it didn't get noticed by DT members. So, when you see such proven scams in the future, you can just create a scam accusation. Some DT members will easily see it in the scam accusations board to do what's necessary  ;)

Making a scam report can also help people who use search engines to do some research about a site/service before sending them money.
I have decided to tag and flag the profile too - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2755 (Support/oppose)

Someone who surfs the forum from outside without logging in won't see the red trust and flags. I am neither going to support nor oppose the flag because I believe they just created a thread in the section allocated for Ponzis and a red trust from DT to warn others is more than enough :)

Actually, the thread you mentioned has been created in the Investor-based games section. I am not sure if you notice the default red warning there by the forum. It's visible to everyone either forum users or guests. That means whoever will visit this thread should read the warning before jump into the thread since the warning visible first before the thread. Anyway, the thread creator should paint, most probably none o DT members notice that that's why the account wasn't tagged. For the next time, I will suggest creating a thread on the scam accusation board instead of asking a question. Besides that, you can't force or ask questions why they hadn't tag that account. It totally depends on DT members either they will tag or not. Because different DT members have different opinions and they all not tag for Ponzi Scheme nor we can expect.

They actually do see a banner regarding this:
