If someone give you, which one you choose?

Obviously two bitcoins  :D I can understand that many people like gold,but for me it's not an ideal investment. Wouldn't feel comfortable with a gold brick at home. Imagine someone breaks into your house. I have no safe to store it.

Half Kilo Gold and 1 Bitcoin ( may not included in the option but i will ask for the half of each offers)

I love Bitcoin no doubt about that.

But i Also wanted an assurance and that will enters Gold.

Don't worry, just get the 2 bitcoins and sell 1 bitcoin and buy gold for that amount then hold the remaining. Bitcoin is easily liqufiable than gold on many countries.

I will actually choose Bitcoin. I will probably sell some part of the Bitcoin and buy a bit of Gold rather than getting the gold bar and struggling to sell it legally/morally to people who need it. Besides I wouldn't be buying gold to use it as a store of value. I doubt you can use it easily during serious global crisis which I suspect people are preparing for. So I will probably buy some and give it short-term to businesses  as collateral in exchange for some good/sustainable investment that can help the society and be profitable.
A well decentralized Bitcoin could work really well during serious global crisis. There are even the possibility of using it completely offline in crisis ridden areas if you could safely print the private keys on something physical, durable, long-lasting, easily divisible, can withstand harsh conditions etc. The users can always verify the keys authenticity whenever they are able to connect to the internet.

But if there's another option. I'll choose 1.5 bitcoin and then 0.25 kilo of gold. That's already a win to me.   :)

I don't hold gold so I think that's a good experience to hold a few.

The problem is, who will give me that 2 bitcoin?  ;D

because I already know the huge potential of Bitcoin then I will definitely choose 2 Bitcoin...

btw, I'm sure newbies who don't know Bitcoin will definitely choose gold over Bitcoin because they still don't understand the huge potential of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the asset of the future investment.

1 kilo of gold is worth less then the 2 Bitcoins so I see no reason to not take the digital money instead of physical mineral.

I will take 2 bitcoin and wait to the value make a increase for at least 100k each and then sell one to buy golds, maybe that is worth more than 2 kilos of golds lol.

I would go with 2 BTC I just find it more convenient for me I could hold and sell it easily.
With gold I need to find a buyer or go to some store just to sell it but with crypto I just need an internet connection to do it.
And it has a fast and higher chance to increase it's price.

Between gold and bitcoin is more valuable and demand is much higher than gold of investing in gold it is under the control of the government and the government can fix its price even if it wants to but there is no interference in the case of bitcoin. Everyone invests as they please and makes a profit bitcoin's price increase gives investors huge profits of gold it depends on the buyer's purchase but the demand for bitcoin is always higher in the market.

Hell yeah, that's not comes to my mind a simple logic hahaha.

depend on when the offering happens, if this comes when the bitcoin dumps to 5k each then why does need to choose it? of course i will be for Gold kilo right?

A saying goes "Fool's Gold", so I'll choose two Bitcoins.  8)

You still believe in gold is more worthy in future than he bitcoin, possibly then you might not even be holding bitcoin I guess so. I would hold/buy btc any day over gold as any dips in prices just gives me more leverage to get at discounted rate.

I will definitely prefer bitcoin over gold for mainly two reasons.

1- Bitcoin is easy to carry.
2. People can cheat and give impure gold. With bitcoin, you will be 100% sure that it is genuine (transaction on the blockchain).

I’d take the 2BTC all day long. The upside with potential price increase is way more with bitcoin. Good is a good store of value & a hedge against inflation but it doesn’t make you rich.

Given this opportunity, I'll go for 2 Bitcoin especially now that the value still on the way to bounce up, afterwards I can buy those
golds using my earning from keeping this 2 Bitcoin.

I'm sure those who are really understand the potential of Bitcoin will choose the same, the chance to see more improvements
from the current value is very possible to happen.

Since just a month ago 1 bitcoin was worth more than one kilo of gold, it's like asking "would you choose one BTC or two?"

There are also ups and downs with gold. Although it is less volatile than crypto, but it has a significantly lower potential profit over the long run as well.

It is much easier to transfer 2 bitcoins than a kilo of gold. So I would choose 2 BTC.

its every crypto people dream to have this offering so i guess either gold or btc even with closed eyes i will pick any of them  :D

It depends on the country, but we likely have to pay taxes on gold and on bitcoins. While a gold bar is nice to look it, the risk of having something like that at home is just too high. I think all of us would go for bitcoins. To be honest I would already happy with 1 BTC, unfortunately with the current high prices it is far away goal for me.

People who believe in bitcoin will choose bitcoin, but they can also choose both bitcoin and gold, so they will have two types of investment that can give them profit in the short term and long term. I have no idea how much gold is worth, but I would prefer to have the 2 Bitcoin. I hope I am not making a huge mistake. Obviously with the power of the internet I can look it up in less than 2 minutes. However, I just want the Bitcoin. Gimme!

Don't worry sooner taxation will be implemented in Bitcoin also so the situation will be the same with gold.

the best thing about bitcoin is the possibilities that the value will increase more than 100x than gold in short span of time.

Convenience will be the major reason why a lot here will choose 2BTC. Because if you have the gold, there's a lot to take care if you own one. Documentation and security alone is too much of a burden. Whereas, if you have the BTC, you can easily transfer it to many other wallets without compromising your security. As long as you know how to secure those wallets, you're good to go. And no one will know that you are a holder of btc, unless, you declare it publicly.

why need to take both when you can have 2 bitcoin and sell them to buy 4 kg gold?

Bitcoin is going down, I can buy more BTC when the price is around 20.000 Eur.

Good choice!, I also don't think gov will be able to tax bitcoin, since they can't keep track of every address that is owned my somoene.

They can. If you don't think that they cannot tax you, check first the ruling of taxation in your country. As long as you made a gain with whatever source you have, you're bound to be taxed.

Bitcoin is taxable mate , wrong belief that if cannot be from government .

I would take 2 Bitcoins and hold them until you know when  ;) and the reasons are obvious.  ;D

The government can not track you if you have bitcoin, but they can track you when you send the fiat from one bank account to another account. So you still get tax by that.

Choosing bitcoin and gold is just for the investment while we still use fiat to shop or make a payment.

Gold is a creation from an Exploding star, superheated Organic Material compressed into a Material we know as Gold. That is why I would pick Gold anyday over Bitcoin. Even if Bitcoin has a greater price point its value Will NEVER supersede Gold :) Just because Gold is a Cosmic creation.

I think in the future of the next generation the price of bitcoin will go up a lot and people will use more than gold then bitcoin will definitely play the biggest role in people's lives in the future i must see now  So for us in the future Bitcoin will be more valuable than Bitcoin and we people will then buy Bitcoin so that they can get a good profit from it in the future. Of course I think Bitcoin is much more profitable and very profitable.

I prefer Bitcoin over gold the way the price is moving you can buy two kilos of Bitcoin, the value of Bitcoin is immeasurable because of the adoption, I'm sure all of us here will prefer Bitcoin, it's a digital gold that government will have aa hard time to track.

Bitcoin all day every day , now 2 bitcoin can get you a kilo of gold next year it may get you five kilos  ;D

I would also choose bitcoin as that is the future and now we are in era where it would be pre bitcoin and post bitcoin. Bitcoin will keep climbing new highs and despite after roller coaster it rises back and now as well we are witnessing the same.
 

I would definitely choose the Bitcoin. Why? Well, think about it, when all of the Bitcoins will be mined, it will be a lot harder to obtain Bitcoins. So I see Bitcoin as a long term investment.
