Title: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term

Investment is very important, and now more and more young people like to invest in cryptocurrency. Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market and how do they analyze and profit from it?

When we're talking about the huge majority, it's mostly because cryptocurrencies are sort of the "thing" right now. Funny how we're talking about a second source of income, because most of these people are going to end up losing money and getting totally burned by "investing"(a.k.a. gambling) in obvious shitcoins.

Holding is the best way to profit from being in crypto if you can't trade. Even holding something that's backed like dai and exchanging it for cdai means you're making a few % passively without trusting a third party much (auditable smart contracts reduce the risk of losses).

A lot of stocks aren't moving anywhere in price too and some people are nervous of having a bank account and stock investments (even a pension can be considered risky these days).

I think there's also the fees to compare when talking about crypto too. A €60 fee is very low for an international transfer and is what you can often expect to pay if dealing with banks. These transactions are also normally limited by the slowest bank so can take 3-14 days for money to be received which means crypto is the better choice in this case too - even if it's a stablecoin.

A lot of younger people in crypto too, mightve bought in at <$1000, even $10000 is cheap for bitcoin now and those people will likely be quite relaxed now - along with those people who bought eth for a cent and who mined some cryptos on their cpus.

Nectar attracts bees. Thats the point here. People want to get rich and make money by putting in least efforts. That is why they get FOMOed and start buying things that are high.

I am not trying to dissuade anyone willing to buy bitcoin, but they see the profits that they could make if they bought bitcoin a few years back.

Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market
I cant say from their perspective, but hype is defenitely a part of it. Maybe some of them actually understand how bitcoin works and they believe this to be having an important utility in future.

Quote
and how do they analyze and profit from it?
I assume you are asking as a newbie. So as advice to newbies, stop listening to youtube videos about crypto. Learn how it works and see its use-fullness, then go for analyzing charts. If you have a background of stocks you will not find it difficult at all.

About making profits, spot trading is what I suggest to all newbies but point of entry should be low. That you have to decide on your own and defenitely is not 40k USD - that would be a loss at this time. Only go for margin trading if you are well-versed in it, otherwise not.

As the most popular investment field in the Internet field, cryptocurrency is well-loved by the public for its safety, rapidity, and prevention of inflation. And cryptocurrency has increased rapidly in recent years, far exceeding investment projects in other fields. In the eyes of the public, you only need to hold cryptocurrency for a long time to get very considerable income.

In my opinion, the field of cryptocurrency investment is now mostly loved and known by many people. Like today's young people, they are curious and they like venture capital. But before investing in any coin you need to learn more about chart analysis as well as the future background and long-term direction of the project. but if you invest in shitcoins it's just a game called gambling and your risk of losing everything will be very high if you don't learn about this cryptocurrency market.

In the long run, the volatility of cryptocurrency reflects the recognition of consensus, a game between longs and shorts. When most people reach a consensus and everyone gradually realizes its value, the volatility will naturally stabilize. The volatility of Bitcoin, a cryptocurrency, will become smaller and smaller. Now some countries have announced that Bitcoin is legal tender, and Bitcoin has risen a bit. In the future, cryptocurrencies will definitely get better and better.

It is obvious that in the past half-decade that investing in cryptocurrencies has begun to bring big profits for its investors hence you see that most of the younger generations today and even the older generations and institutions have decided to set up crypto investment as another source of investment for income generation. History they say is the best teacher and from that, some cryptocurrencies have proven to be very profitable as part of your Hodlings for the long term, so you would find investors investing in those crypto coins/tokens that have that capability for a long time HODL/Profits gains.

Well, it is loved by the people right now and I reckon it wouldn't really die off for a few more years. We would actually see it stabilizing into a steady price once the supply reaches close to its peak since that simply means supply increase would now be locked. Tbf though, most people invest in Bitcoin due to its past, its history. Starting from 0 to a price of 5 digits? Who wouldn't think that it's a way for an easy profit? Well, it'd be those that haven't exactly entered/tried trading. Some people though do believe that crypto has the potential to reach higher values, and it's due to Bitcoin being, well, Bitcoin.

Young people are very vulnerable to influence. Looking back on the bullish trend of late 2017 where cryptocurrencies were mainstream on every news and mass media site, this is history repeating itself.
They know crypto because of the portfolio posts of other young traders on social media where trading has become a trend these days. That is the reason for their interest in the crypto market, which considers cryptocurrencies only speculative thing that can make them rich overnight as they have seen.

Of course, this understanding slightly deviates from the actual intent and purpose of crypto which can prevent them from learning further, especially the mechanism and security if they fail to invest at first.

But the cryptocurrencies we are talking about here are the memecoins right?
They ain't bullish in long term but worse they can be scam attempts that sought differently when they found the public's reactions.
Still, you can't deny the fact that they can exit anytime they want unlike with Bitcoin where it's the people who support it that needs to get out before the value goes down which is doubtful to happen unless another one will be better than it.
There are a few but it's been always Bitcoin on the frontlines. Why?  ;)

people think it is bullish because of two things.

first is that bitcoin has been going up and also has a very bright future so it has created this illusion that if anything else including shitcoins are categorized under the same thing as bitcoin (that is being a cryptocurrency) they should also go up the way bitcoin did.

and second is that there is a lot of fake promise to these newbies that the shitcoins they are buying is guaranteed to go up. so they always fall for the lie and buy into the hype.

suffice it to say that this is why there are so many people with a huge amount of money lost that they will never get back just because the shitcoins they bought were dumped in the long run.

I still have a doubt if everyone would be pleased or even realize that the value is increasing since most of them use Bitcoin just like a normal currency making transactions in and out plus those weak-hands that won't last for too long if there's a fud circulating. It's just few people can make profit with this market and the rest is gambling with either altcoins or Bitcoin.

But it's always a good choice to diversify your money or never put your all capital in a single investment. That's why there are good altcoins to invest if you want to divide most of your money in order to minimize losses.

Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market and how do they analyze and profit from it?

They are optimistic because they have read some facts from the past, and throughout its past Bitcoin has brought people a profit. If I heard from some that it used to be possible to buy 100 BTC for less than $100, then I bought 1 BTC for $200 and turned them into $20 000, then sold that BTC and bought 6 BTC for the same money. Today, my $200 investment is worth more than $200 000 - and these are stories that attract people to invest, although the past is never a guarantee that the same will happen in the future.

The key is to never invest what you can't afford to lose, and then you can sleep and live with a clear conscience no matter what happens. Being optimistic and being reasonable are two different things, and most people do pretty stupid things that they most regret later.

I think people are bullish towards crypto because for some it has become the only hope that they will change something in their lives - and it is better to live in hope than in despair.

I personally feel bullish because:

  • It has the possibility to separate money from state.
  • Can't be sensored
  • Growing innovation
  • Limited supply in many cases
  • Allow people to control their money

Indeed, very on point! Don't be contented on having a single income always think a way on how you will be able to double your income by just for example having an investment for some companies by buying some stocks or shares on them in order to have an investment in the near future. Contentment is not a human habit so you must need to work hard in order for you to be successful in life.

Pre regulation ICOs offered accredited investment opportunities to low bracket earners who are normally barred by law from participating. I doubt anyone would claim ICOs were free from risk or danger. But that level of opportunity isn't easy to find in traditional finance.

Past eras of history have seen opportunities explode in the form of gold rushes and the silicon valley dot com bubble. Opportunities produce excitement. Its very easy to make money in a bull market like the one crypto enjoyed 2020/2021. Some crypto like bitcoin are considered inflation protected assets which further increases their value during times of inflation and potential recession.

There are a few I've seen who are trying literally every crypto opportunity they can get their hands on, while blogging about the experience. People do it because, it works. They can witness firsthand the time and energy invested in crypto being transformed into financial rewards. The methods differ and don't necessarily repeat. But the end result remains the same.

Buffett was never talking about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency when he made such a statement. He is actively against the whole idea of it and warns people to avoid it. Whether he is correct to make such a statement, only the future and time will be able to tell. Some people have been big winners in crypto and some have been big losers, like many investments this is high risk. When Buffett said that he was talking about investing in company shares, businesses that make a profit each year and return it to their owners (shareholders) every year either through dividends or re-investing it wisely. That is what he means by having a "stream of income" and obviously the risk falls if you start to buy into high quality companies in many different fields. Compounding money is a brilliant way to get rich.

Generally, because of the inflection rate all over the world saving any kind of assets such as gold and cryptocurrencies can be profitable if you are patient enough to don't do any panic sell. In the other hand, the market of cryptocurrencies is moving super fast during the short term and this can make some people act emotional and do panic sell and buy at high prices that's why many people will lose some money if they do invest in the short term. Otherwise, due to the huge demand between investors and the evolution of financial systems, this can be bullish and profitable for long-term investors.

Crypto is a brilliant invention because for the first time in human history we can have a free market, open for all!!! And as people are learning more about the crypto, decentralized economy, how crypto works, and what crypto can do, they are joining and the crypto world is becoming bigger... every day/month/year! And it's like a fact!

Investment is very important, and now more and more young people like to invest in cryptocurrency. Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market and how do they analyze and profit from it?
That's a somewhat broad question as there are many perspectives to it, you can't really sum up all the reasons into one, a weird one is that quite a lot of them aren't aware of the history of some of this coins, neither have they witnessed a bear market, or a coin dumping just after it pumped, or projects that were basically created just on the basis of scamming people.

The media or the news most of this newcomers have been exposed to is that which someone was lucky to earn a lot of money on a 'lottery' coin, or a Bitcoin bull run that creates so much furore amongst many, even those that have never owned a wallet etc, many of this people have only heard success stories, so they want a bit of that success, and that tends to be the driving force wheeling them into the network.

Having said that, another reason will be the present financial situation, inflation/hyperinflation, plus the rise in the prices of commodities are all happening right in people's faces, there's a need to hedge funds from devaluation, but this reason is mostly the driving force for institutional investors who have huge sums of money, for most of the others, it's an adventure to get rich pretty fast.

Because of the hype that crypto market brings. There were a lot of opportunities to invest in crypto and get a very huge profit, Bitcoin is the major one.
But as the time passes by more and more alts has been added to the market and most of them aren't as promising as the top 10 coins in the market. Some have made significant gains, thus causing some investors to fomo.
These young people that you're talking about have probably been influenced by social media influencers which was also been paid to shill and put a hype into a specific altcoin.

It is not difficult to see why we are so optimistic, bitcoin right now is the most fundamental sound form of money we have around the world, bitcoin is better than any fiat currency and it is better than gold and silver and compared to those markets bitcoin is still quite small, this means that during the next decades bitcoin will steal market share from both of those markets and make it its own so its potential is huge, also almost all markets seem overvalued while this one is undervalued so from the standpoint of those investors not interested in the technology bitcoin is a great investment still.

It is because we're all going to the age where most investments are disruptors of fin tech and that's why new investors likes to have it. When I've first found out about bitcoin, I'm very much exciting to know about it and the beautiful future that it can have.

As for the profit, it's normal. Just as the usual businessman that gets profit from buying and selling. That's the same with bitcoin, you don't have to understand too much technicalities of it as long as you understand that logic.

My thought is probably more societal than analytical. The thing is, when we look back at the history one regularity, a pattern becomes certain: whenever there is a tendency - that tendency becomes a part of everything. For instance, when there is a war - there is an economical depression, but simultaneously we can see a depression in everything else: people don't have money, such things as entertainment become rare, most people put on poor-looking clothes, etc. So it affects humanity in all possible aspects: finances, outwear, pastime, culture and, eventually, due to all the aforementioned - it affects thinking.

In today's world, I think many would agree that there is a tendency for freedom. As before, it is also present everywhere: people speak about it in public, politicians (except for the dictatorial regime) try to make their campaigns based on it, the employment rules are much affected by equity-related movements, even in clothes, we can see that the trend is not as strict as it was, say, in the '80s. People can combine different styles, wear your sandals with socks and no one will judge you anymore :D

What I'm getting at is that cryptocurrencies are the best representation of freedom and independence in the world of money, so unless some crazy changes come and people will suddenly want to become part of the slavery system - the demand for crypto will only grow with years.

We use the term Fintech too liberally though. The proponents of different DeFi and stablecoin pools have been using that term to promote their projects way more than what bitcoin has done during it first few years. Eventually these buzzwords tend to lose their importance and as we can see the DeFi system is also ended up as another massive hype driven cesspool.

Quote

But I would suggest people to learn how bitcoin works before you invest in it. If one do not have the knowledge of how something works they will never learn the long term importance of that. It will only remain a pump and dump shitcoin to them. This is where the concept of faith in some new technology comes in.

One can sell coins out of need of making a profit but why some people end up dumping their coins in FUD? Because their background knowledge and research of that coin was zero.

Well, not every cryptocurrency is going to be bullish, I'm going to tell you that remember that in the sea of cryptocurrencies, there's a big amount of shitcoins that are created to make their developers millionaires. I think the reason that some cryptocurrency is bullish is probably because people believe in them and that they have a lot of people adopting it like what bitcoin did, don't forget that it also has a utility.

Title: Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term

The reason is simple, people look at the price history of Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies and they expect that the same pattern will repeat it self and based on that they project a recovery after every drop in the price. The popular saying in Crypto has always been, "Buy the Dip" and people stick to that.

People who "invest" in Bitcoin or Crypto currencies are setting themselves up for possible failure, because Bitcoin and Crypto currencies are not supposed to be an investment option. Bitcoin is supposed to be a "Currency" and if you use it as a currency.. then your chance of losing money will be minimal.  ;)

I believe that the answer to your question is obvious. The fact is that a lot of time has passed since the advent of cryptocurrencies, and all this time the price of the same BTC has been constantly growing and is already at a fairly high level. At the same time, everyone who bought BTC earlier now has a huge profit. Proceeding from this, many now seeing this understand that investments in crypto, and even more so in BTC, are very profitable and can bring excellent profits in the future. Therefore, many will continue to invest in cryptocurrencies, at least in order to preserve their funds and multiply them well.

Because cryptocurrencies will make a huge impact on our technology. Each cryptos now has their own use-case that they want to solve that is related to technology. Some crypto's main purpose is focused on sports, there is messaging, gaming tokens, and more. If more industries adopt crypto on their platform or business then we definitely have a good future investing on them. Mass adoption is slowly happening so there is a lot more to see with these cryptocurrencies in the future.

Like any new and evolving technology, it will generate good income as it grows. After stabilization of technology and the market, incomes "stabilize" and become commensurate with the investment attractiveness of ordinary shares of "weighted average" companies on the market. In a word - for 5, maybe 10 years, the profit from investments in crypto projects will be higher than other investments in the market.

Young people. I think that's because this era gave them "we" (I think I am still part of that young people) many option.
The good side of this option is it's not as hard as investing with mutual funds, stocks, commodities and others. They can be the manager of their own investment that is hard to find nowadays.
Most of the time there will be a middleman, a broker or whatever they call them now. Old school investments are banks and it doesn't move that much. Yeah, cryptocurrencies will be the best choice if done right.

Hodling is the best way to earn more money, if you want to have a good future in life then you hold, remember what CZ quotation is? "You can be rich if you can't hold". Holding bitcoin for the long term is such a good idea, as bitcoin's value increases year by year, this current price of bitcoin is good because if we reach the ATH once again you will have X2 from it.

The big question is how long you need to hold. I am holding most of my coins for the last 5 years or so. And I know a few guys who are holding the coins for 9-10 years now. In the investment circles, it is not unusual to hold your coins for that long (>10 years). But most of these cases involve assets such as gold, which have very low volatility. Cryptocurrency is one of the most volatile assets you can invest in, and not everyone will be in favor of very long term holding (especially with altcoins such as Cardano and BNB).

One of the easiest way of making money from cryptocurrencies is hodling.
I believe cryptocurrencies are bullish over time because of increased adoption which leads to increase in the supply and demand which ultimately increases the price of a coin.
Since this does not happen at once and it's over time, hodling would definitely results in profits for whosoever practices it.
And that's just how cryptocurrencies get bullish over time

I think that the popularity of the cryptocurrency nowadays and the huge wave of people that are investing money into it now, sis due to the fact that it has become a trend, and  how many influencers and big names are investing in it , due to the fact that the price is high and the market is volatile there is a large amount of money that can be made from, both in the long and short term, and people are trying to get rich fast and want profit so i think that is the reason why it has gotten really popular these past few years.

Don't let anyone else tell you anything else, even in the most basic principles of finance the fact that fiat will always lose value is a real thing, there is nothing around this and unfortunately what you can buy with 100 bucks today, you can't buy the same in 10 years and that is a fact, nobody disputes that, and it is a very well known fact as well, there is zero person that will say "I can buy same things with 100 bucks today and 10 years later", zero person believes that.

Yet bitcoin is doesn't have that kind of inflation (except what miners mine) and that means while fiat loses value, bitcoin won't and that means technically speaking bitcoin will gain "value" whereas only thing it gains is price. That is the reason in the long run bitcoin is something nobody should disregard since it will be your weapon against inflation.

What happened can't happen again because those type of increases would require bitcoin to be few million dollars each at least, and that is not going to happen, or at least not anytime soon. What does make me optimistic about bitcoin however is the fact that I know it will go up due to inflation, not because bitcoin will gain value, bitcoin will be same value, but the price will go up, think about as this, whatever one apple worths in bitcoin should stay same, but the dollar amount of an apple changes so the bitcoin price changes to cater the same thing.

So let is give an example as this, 1 bitcoin is 1 dollars and 1 apple is 1 dollars, so when one apple becomes 2 dollars then one bitcoin becomes 2 dollars. As you can see here bitcoin didn't gain "value" but it gained in price. I believe that will continue to happen and that gives me the hope for bitcoin in the future.

Because thanks to blockchain technology unlike fiat currencies, is decentralized and it don't get hyper inflated

I think it's because of the belief of the community only. because it has been proven that bitcoin have reached beyond expectations. and this has been done many times, plus many large projects that depend on bitcoin. like most of altcoins also depend on bitcoin . Becoming a bitcoin holder requires strong belief.

This is exactly the point why bitcoins are so attractive. The supply is limited and no government in the world can just decide that it wants to print new bitcoins. With crypto currencies we are independent of the monetary policies of large countries like China or USA. Any investor who is scared of inflation can invest in crypto coins to protect himself.
right, with limited supply, lots of advantages in it. especially now that bitcoin is only accessed by a small number of people on this earth, you can imagine if half of people need it, in the sense that many countries have legalized it. Of course this will provide benefits for current investors to achieve financial freedom. but indeed we have to be patient because no one knows when that time will come

Why are young people so optimistic about investing in cryptocurrency? Simple, to become rich in the shortest period of time. Becoming rich equates freedom, generational wealth, freedom to buy whatever and live however and wherever one likes.

For example in Africa, young folks there believe it's their way of abject poverty, government control and what have you.

Well the best advice I give to newbies is DYOR before investing in any cryptocurrency. And if you're going to trade, always take profits immediately and not later due to the volatility of the market.

Cryptocurrency is nice for long-term investment because you can hodl as long as you want and as long as you don't need your funds as fiat money. Your investment has a high chance to gain and earn more as time passes by given that it has a nice potential to uphold its value or even exceed. Many people are risking their chance nowadays in crypto because it has proven that it has a lot of advantages. Although people must know that crypto isn't a get-rich-quick type of platform because most people always assume that it is a shortcut to generate wealth in a snap - it is not. To become successful in crypto, one must invest into himself first. A person must learn to feed himself additional knowledge and skills that could help him strategize and execute when it comes to actual crypto platform.

Data analyzation is a vital skill to be successful in cryptocurrency. You must study the history, price movements in charts, and read more about it to understand it better. Profit will be bigger for those who risk higher. High risks, high rewards. Just learn to minimize your losses by knowing your boundaries in investing.

This is a nice way to put it, however governments were in fact trying to put all kinds of limitations to the way you could use your money in order to better control their citizens, but then bitcoin appeared and now they are realizing that no matter what they do bitcoin is going to be there to be an alternative that will always block this desire they have to control the finances of their citizens, and for this reason alone bitcoin will always have some value as the people that cherish their privacy will always make use of it.

There are some people who look for the long term approach and those people exist even in today's young generation - effect of good upbringing. They are looking for long term gains and they are the ones who will survive this investment. Having a get-rich-quick mindset will make you prone to put money in scams that are using bitcoin as mode of payment.

For example in Africa, young folks there believe it's their way of abject poverty, government control and what have you.
Lets not politicize bitcoin in that context. It is supposed to be a freely usable currency above centralized banks and censorship resistant. It is not equal to anarchy which some people tend to focus more on. Because anarchy leads to destruction and bitcoin is far above those lows.

Quote
And if you're going to trade, always take profits immediately and not later due to the volatility of the market.
Again a a short term approach that I usually dont prefer. But if it works for you, then more power to you. A balance needs to be struck between getting out quick and holding for long term.

Cryptocurrency has become the current trend. It provides us with a better choice. Investing in Bitcoin can be free from government control and completely self-controlled. Many people will choose to invest in Bitcoin in order to realize the freedom of wealth. As people's demand for the enhancement of Bitcoin consensus increases, the value will also rise, and long-term investors will gain greater benefits.

And the popularity of cryptocurrency and the people who invest a lot of it now has become a trend.

So far, cryptocurrency is promising to many people to make money and we already saw that many projects really give people a chance to make a profit. People can survive from bad days in a good day from crypto. Talking about the analysis, people learned so many things from the internet and they have a different lesson that will improve them in making money.

Although crypto has a bear or bull trend, in the future, crypto will have the bull trend again and even we are now in the bear, that will change soon. We need optimism and still work hard to survive in this bear trend because once we can pass this, the bull trend will come and give us the chance to make a profit.

Since crypto is nearing its adoption phase we can expect its price to skyrocket in the coming years.
See the chart below:

It signifies a strong and steady support on Bitcoin over the years. Moreover, as the public become more aware of its uses and advantages it is highly sought-after than it was before. We can see transaction made with cryptocurrency will bloom over the years to come. Fiat might be the thing of the past and the more secure, stable and safer method would be Bitcoin and Blockchain.

If you’re going to be looking at Bitcoin as a source of income that you can steady rely on, then you’re making a mistake. Bitcoin is like my third source of income lol, and I don’t rely much on it because I understand the risks, and this is how everyone should see it. Bitcoin is not steady in bringing profit, and it is not a source that you can rely on to make income like on monthly, weekly, or daily, because you’re not sure what would be the outcome. Unless you’re trader, but even as a trader you stand a risks of losing your money when you’re trading Bitcoin.

They're optimistic because they recognize most traditional currencies that are bound by government are due to fail because of irresponsible spending and corruption. There is no brains to profit from BTC. you buy in, wait until larger currencies begin to destabilize, and boom - your BTC is worth more than it was tomorrow. For some, it's not optimism, it's just accepting the harsh reality that paper currency is worth something because the government tells us it is. And we should trust the government why?

Also worth mentioning that there's utility to some of the cryptocurrency in the market that adds to being bullish.

In my opinion, the increase in bitcoin is not a matter of long or short time, but it is a simultaneous and continuous buying moment, so the price goes up. and when the price has reached a saturated position, many people will sell it so that a correction occurs. therefore we must be good at taking advantage of that moment to make a profit

Like the present youngsters, they are interested and they like an investment. Be that as it may, prior to putting resources into any coin you need to study outline investigation just as the future foundation and long haul heading of the undertaking. in any case, on the off chance that you put resources into shitcoins, it's simply a game called betting, and your danger of losing all that will be extremely high on the off chance that you don't find out about this cryptographic money market.

Make crypto-currency profit hasn't been strange from any other profitable Investment, especially like Gold, stock and many more, it's about opportunity in the crypto-currency market place, am not an expert on alt-coins I haven't made profit from them I have to be open about it, even not made much Profits from bitcoin either, but this year saw profits for those who invested in BNB, ethereum and bitcoin.
But that is just bull run, don't be ignorant about bear run, or failed/scam Investment.

With time the awareness and need for cryptocurrency will be understood well by the common people who at present doesn't have any idea about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. When the demand counts, automatically the value will peak as it has got limitations in supply. The track record of bitcoin from its early days of existence to the present day is the proof for the same.

It is the usual market cycle that you've described. Taking advantage is when you know that the market is bearish and you're taking action instead of watching the price goes up a little by little and misses the most important part, and that is to buy when the price of bitcoin was still quite low and hasn't recovered yet. And the cycle will continue to repeat the process and it will reach a certain selling point where most of the traders and olders will meet and sell at the same time. As there's a pressure for selling points, that will make the price a little bit lower again and the cycle continues.

They have just believed into their investment until it brought up a good outcome on which have been a good news scattered that gathers many aspiring individual putting up their money for investment, bringing popularity, hyping the crypto market and due to various factors lead to the bullish trend we are having despite of the ups and downs that the market experiences.

I dont think people do analyze, they react and crypto moves gigantically such that its hard to ignore in its potential past and present.   Who wouldn't be optimistic in that sense, a billionaire is immune in that he barely cares about the absolute money or profits available as its already more then he can spend.  Warren objects on the principle yet he ignores the failings of government and the FED to back currency properly except at face value, this has led to the decline of the common worker and plain opportunities available to them through capitalism.
Try as he might, he will struggle to see the great loss that occurred to the poor and plain worker, as he has unlimited capital all the avenues are open to him still; in his old age he has become biased and narrow in his view.   Warren isn't a bad guy, he started off with pinball machines and simple ideas but he cant relate his own humble beginnings that many would have sneered at decades ago with his own disapproval of the technology and utility that crypto gives a new generation.
Crypto is bullish so long as it enables people in some way especially if its unique and not normally available, technology can often be efficient in this way.   Long term it has to do a better job then alternatives, the ending of the Bretton Woods system would be an event that upsets and changes the world in a way only occurring once a century perhaps so its massive opportunity.  Capitalism is all about people (within its definition) its the mirror to democracy not an opposition, its the opposite of what people imagine in scale of effect.  So crypto has to enable people to succeed is my basic take; this is the bullish part that people are profitable if you let them.

Like it's always said knowledge is power, most people loose capital in crypto because there refuse putting in much efforts and expect good results, most newbies due to hype buy some coins at a very high price and end up loosing funds when prices retraces, so this is more reason why more efforts and time is need, try to educate yourself on how the cryptocurrency works, tho the market price can't be predicted perfectly but with good knowledge you can be at the safer side.

I understand your point here. Definitely not possible for outsiders to know the real situations in these countries where governments are corrupt.

Lets hope the situation becomes better, but I have actually lost hope for these countries because I have watching the same situation for more than a decade now, but hope is always a good thing. Since their government does not like its people using crypto, nothing more can be done except watch them go back down in the course of evolution.

At the point when someone is selling, someone is also buying, otherwise the trade would not happen. I dont think this is related to bullish trend in long run but regular trading. Supply-demand gap is the point here, I am guessing you are trying to hint to that.

To have a bullish long term scene you need be able to generate an inherent market and bitcoin does that by gradually going mainstream. Most altcoins have failed because they cant develop such a process or is lacking in developing the supply/demand ratio.

That is because back in the day you could live in a life with wealth. The baby boomers are not understanding what we are going through because the gap between wealth is just staggering, even the richest person of those days were not rich enough to actually buy a whole nation for themselves, we are talking about a big difference.

After the second world war when people started to be born in 50s and 60s those people could have get a college education and be a CEO by the time they retire, or they could be high school graduate and they could still buy a house and a new car ever 5 years, hell they could have been a high school dropout and they could still afford a house by the time they retire.

Can you imagine the "average" high school dropout today to be able to buy a house? I am sure there are some that managed to do it but that is not the average, the average high school dropout starves to death these days. Hence the difference causes them to not realize our problems because they never had that trouble.

What we see is a great amount of misinformation given by the government and since people are naive they believe whatever they are told, but for those that take the time to actually make their own research bitcoin immediately comes up as one of the best if not the best form of money we have available right now, this makes bitcoin valuable and if anything it will get more and more valuable as governments keep printing money thinking they can get away with it forever, but soon enough they will discover this is not the case anymore but by then it will be too late.

The only challenge with bitcoin so far has been its volatility but on a second thought, that's what make bitcoin and crypto more interesting simply because of the watery profit and loss perhaps ( also profit in future)
with its supply still different from fiat currencies, and more and more in need of it even though legalization is still difficult, I think bitcoin is a new breakthrough that goes against the current government system that can print its own money. but we see more and more people who are aware of and study bitcoin and predict what will happen in the future, so that the development of bitcoin seems to be unstoppable even by the government.

Predicting cryptocurrency can be very difficult, because the market is volatile. And it is not like other assets that are controlled by the government , it is totally on its own and is influenced by the buying and selling (demand and supply) in the market.

But that’s not to say that you can’t go through technical and fundamental analysis when you want to predict the market, but it can be wrong a lot of times, because any event can take place and bring a change that is totally different from what you have thought would happen. So being a trader or investor in the cryptocurrency market requires a lot of hard work and being up to date.

That's right and it's definitely not easy to make a profit in cryptocurrency,
especially for beginners they need to learn more because nothing is instant here,
and as you said knowledge is very important and need to work hard to understand it

Anyone that takes the time to look at the posts that were made years ago will see the same that is happening now back then when bitcoin was cheaper, there were people that thought that bitcoin will never touch dollar parity or that we could never reach 1k per coin and now look at bitcoin and its value, so it is to be expected that the same is going to happen again during the next decade and the people that are now wondering if bitcoin is a good long term investment are going to regret not using every single cent they had available to buy bitcoin right now.

Thank you for your advice and guidance, it is very helpful to me. I am also learning to understand the crypto market and price trend analysis charts, analyzing and judging investment timing. And I hope that I can invest and earn profits based on suggestions and learning.

In the long run, the global circulation of cryptocurrency will become more and more common, and it may even reach the supermarket to buy food. As more and more people use cryptocurrency, the number of cryptocurrencies will decrease. When the quantity decreases, the scarcity becomes more expensive, and the price will naturally rise. Secondly, more and more people are also beginning to like to invest in cryptocurrencies. When a large amount of money flows in, the amount will change. Cause a qualitative change, and the price rises naturally.

The real reason is that we are all very much in love with what bitcoin is bringing to the table and that is not something we will be leaving anytime soon, we are going to have to force ourselves into a level where we have to accept the fact that bitcoin will not be just a profitable thing but also beneficial thing and that just doesn't exist anywhere. Who in the world knows a thing which you can invest into that not only helps you keep profiting, but also allows you to spend it anytime you want?

I do not think that "invest into dollar" is something that makes sense to many people, which means that bitcoin is the only one, hell we can't even spend gold these days. Long story short the great thing about bitcoin is the flexibility, it is the all in one package of investments and that means a lot to many people, we just have to accept that and realize that about bitcoin.

Crypto currency is currently the most popular investment field. It has already brought huge profits to many investors. Now many new users and institutions are making profits by investing in cryptocurrency. With the increase in the use and circulation of cryptocurrency, more and more people realize the benefits and significance of crypto currency. But the total amount of Bitcoin is fixed and scarce, and the supply and demand relationship makes its value rise, also a lot of room for appreciation in the future.

A question I hear again and again is that Bitcoin has gone up already by so much, and what are the chances of it further going up. But look around for similar cases. I compared some of the large-cap stocks such as AMZN, FB and MSFT with Bitcoin. For the last 5 years, AMZN has given returns of 400%, despite having a very high market cap at the beginning of this period. Now take the case of TSLA. It has gone up by 15x during the same period. So the conclusion is that if a particular asset is good, irrespective of the current valuation, it will give good returns in the future.

Cryptocurrency investment should not be the only source of one income. Income source should be split into different areas so that if one is not doing well or having good returns from a source, others might be encouraging enough. This is the way big billionaires in world operate, putting their eggs into different baskets.

For me understanding the trend is very important. Today most of us have smartphone, it is mean that businessman can easily approach the market and sell their product. I think this situation make the competition even tighter, and companies which can provide advantages (include the ease of transactions) to the customer will win the competition and get market share. Now we are not only buy physical goods but also digital property. For me using cryptocurrency to buy such things is better than when I use bank service. Even without the usage as a currency, the value of Bitcoin will move up. Because nowadays it is more likely to be used as an investment asset. And it is important to have an asset that is protected against inflation, because the purchasing power of fiat currency is going down on a continuous basis. There are other assets that are protected against inflation (such as gold and platinum), but even these assets are getting riskier to invest now because of the rising levels of asset seizure by the authorities.

There are a lot of cryptocurrency out there right now and most of them are being successful and some are vanishing or ends up as a dead coin. In terms of identifying which crypto can be the most bullish in the long term, it is much important that you always analyze and speculate each top coins in the market if you are longing for a coin that is bullish in the long run. At least see their history also if they were able to be bullish before or not or if they ever experienced being bullish and it lasted for a while. Through that you can identify the coins that are bullish long term.

Just dont invest all your savings in crypto. Keep liquid cash at hand for emergency, keep investments in traditional fiat markets, aka stocks, bonds and precious metals too.

You need to have more than one method of investment to fall back upon, because when the bitcoin market crashes, it crashes like a tsunami and therefore the other stuff in your portfolio will keep you sane at that time - you will not understand the importance of this at this point but later on you will.

the scarcity of bitcoin supply has a higher inflation in a long period of time, that is why holding bitcoin for long-term investment deserves a happy and lucrative returns.
Deflation is one point that investors take into account. Accumulating it today makes it scarce tomorrow, driving the demand almost intrinsically - one of the factors of bitcoin that altcoins lack.

they don't do any difficult analysis, they just compare the price of bitcoin a few years ago to today. with that simple analysis they have confidence that bitcoin is a very profitable investment in the future. the limited number of bitcoins and the growing interest make the future of bitcoin look very bright.
Interest in bitcoin is defenitely growing. It is a good thing for both investors and merchants, because the more buzz around bitcoin the more pressure on the governments to start allowing people to use it freely.

If the rumor about Amazon is true, then we don't need anything else to propel BTC to the $100,000 per coin mark. But the big question is whether they will try something like what Facebook attempted (i.e. plagiarizing the idea of cryptocurrency and then listing their own product). And a lot of people are saying that Amazon actually want to use their own token instead of Bitcoin. Now this is not going to be simple, as Facebook's attempt at Libracoin was shot down even before the plans could be finalized. So my guess is that at least in the medium term, Amazon will have to use BTC, if they want to go for cryptocurrency adoption.

I think OP should not view investment in this area like that. The point is that pure and obvious cryptocurrency is showing more and more value in its use, and that has helped in part to make the coins more valuable than before. I think we're all talking about things that are transparent and not short term shitcoins that make short profits and also end quickly. But I also do not support the investment in a variety of industries, or more precisely if you do not understand it, then learn before you start, every profession in life I think about it like that.

Buffet was never a fan of technology and this is a virtual cryptographic protocol that has him perplexed at best as to its worth.   He admits himself he has never invested in Intel or any of the long standing tech companies, his firm only invests there now because he handed alot of the decision making to lower lieutenants.
If he was a genius on tech, he could have put 1k into CSCO in 1990 and made back a million within 10 years.   Or his friend Bill Gates, if he had invested MSFT in 1990 it would have taken 18k to 1 million dollars within ten years also.   Just a nice trade but still long standing companies with valid technology and now we're talking open source but still valid unique technology and its a problem, the biggest negative is its not his arena.

I can remember Buffet on the headline news bailing out a bank from failure in the 90's, he was old then and very well respected.   He really is a living legend but its not his arena to comment on this technology especially and I've yet to hear him argue why its invalid in any proper detail, it has a utility and valid market so why would he not just trust a free market to use or expire it when they no longer have a use for it like any product we might move on but just now its used and useful.

Can you compare 5 years back to this present time! No because of the huge difference between crypto back in 5 years and crypto in this present time, there are more acceptance, inclusion and improvement in the way crypto is viewed now than before, likewise in the future there will be even more bigger and wider acceptance, improvement than what we are seeing now, the more people discover and join crypto the more the value will increase, some of this recent projects utility can fully be accessed in future because by then they have been fully developed, so investing now for the future is important because by then development has increased and so are the price because of demand.

Although there are usually corrections in the price of a cryptocurrency, it is usually bullish on the long run because of its adoption in the mainstream or the crypto community.  This adoption, however, increases with time which makes it bullish.
The price of bitcoin 10 years ago is really low but with its adoption over the years, it has grown to what the price is today. This means that someone who invested in bitcoin 10 years would be swimming in profits if the person didn't sell

The exchange rate for Bitcoin is solely dependent on the demand-supply equilibrium. That is not the case with other assets. For stocks, the price will depend based on the fluctuations in revenue or profit for the parent company. For gold, the prices will depend on the changes in annual mine production and recycling. But these factors are not applicable for Bitcoin. Even the changes in mining hash rate has only minimal impact on the exchange rates. It is the difference between supply and demand which determines whether the price goes up or down.

If I am to answer this your question going by the topic you have here, then it’s simply because of the law of demand and supply. When the demand is higher than the supply, the price goes up. Due to the fact that there is a growing number of people investing in the market, the price of bitcoin will continue to increase to be matching that high level of demand that the new investors are bringing to the market and that’s just it.

And to answer your question that you have asked in your write up, I would say that young people are interested in bitcoin because it’s a new technology, and since most of the young people these days are interested in new technologies especially ones like bitcoin that breaks boundaries, it’s sure going to draw their attention.

A long way to go from here. But we are hopeful of that in the future. Bitcoin currently has made a mark being a good investment, so I am not sure if that motion is going to get overruled back to its original use of currency.

Quote
The number of cryptocurrencies will decrease as more people utilize cryptocurrency.
If I understand correctly, you are mistaken. The total number of coins in circulation is fixed once mining of that coin ends minting all the coins. But it never reduces.

Quote
Scarcity gets more expensive as the quantity diminishes, and the price will automatically rise.
Scarcity occurs due to demand/supply gap. If people buy and dont sell, then it becomes scarce. But there is no method to remove coins from circulation unless people forget their private keys.

Again, quantity does not diminish with time. It remains fixed after having minted all coins. However the population being covered by that same number of fixed coins keeps on increasing.

this is the interesting thing about bitcoin, where the price formation is purely from supply and demand, so it is not surprising that the fluctuations in price movements are very high. this is what makes traders who dare to take high risks come to trade them. when the bullrun occurs, traders begin to arrive, plus if the news supporting bitcoin comes one after another, this causes the buying of bitcoin to last for a long time, until finally the bad news started to come and the price increase experienced a saturation point, so the price was corrected again

If you talk about the long term movement of cryptocurrency, there is every possibility that the market will go up in years to come, if we are to make the decision based on what we have seen from the years back. If you check the all time price chart of Bitcoin you’re going to see that the price has grown to be bigger almost every year.

Then the question there is, whether you can hold for that long, that’s the next thing. The main bull run (times that the market reaches a new ATH is not something that happens regularly, it rarely happens. It can be, sometimes, in four years and that’s after the halving.

Okay, let me tell you what just happened this evening. I just sold $30 worth of Ether in p2p Binance and I was ashamed of my self how price of Ethereum has 11x when I bought was holding some before covid-19 spread across the globe. It's just a year difference between last year and now, if I'm still holding into that, I would be so happy but lack of knowledge and inexperience made me to sell my bags at lost. I don't know if there is a reason for Bitcoin or a different cryptocurrency to be bullish in the long run. And I don't think that there is one. It's just about the nature of the market. It's always possible to see market going to the moon. For example, things are going on really great right now. Investors must be quite happy about the situation.

I don't know if there is a reason for Bitcoin or a different cryptocurrency to be bullish in the long run. And I don't think that there is one.
I think the reason is the deflationary supply system and that makes its price rise inherently with time. Therefore people are willing to get into it early and make some money while they still can buy a decent amount of bitcoin in whole numbers.

Quote

True, but market craze will be temporary and celebs saying good things are also temporary. The deflationary system is on the other hand permanent and so is the censorship-resistance.

Therefore there is a reason to be bullish for long term.

But this also depends on the investors own mentality and time period. If they are willing to hold for long and then sell, they help drive the price organically.
