Title: How did you first hear about Bitcoin?
Post by: unotohero on July 19, 2021, 05:21:42 PM
I first heard of it when I friend of mine said(jokingly) that he could get anyone assassinated for 6BTC on silk road. I asked what it was and he said that it was an online currency that nobody uses. I googled Bitcoin..I have not slept since.

Sometimes I wonder whether criminals have established their own specific cryptocurrencies, because even criminals need to trade favors for favours.

But then again, using bitcoin or any crypto would be pretty dumb as a criminal, since with the wrong leak could trace you to everything that you've done with time stamps and possibly even locations. And you'd never know what was a honeypot, especially because you'd be dealing with criminals (and probably dumb ones).

The openness of bitcoin may actually help lower criminality over time because of these features, and make politicians more accountable to their people in more than one way.

You might be wright.  ;) ;) :D
I mean, your statement might be right.   ??? :o :-\

You may not hear about everyone who is caught though. I suspect law enforcement doesn't always want to give up all of their methods. =/

How did you first hear about Bitcoin?

I have heard first about Bitcoin from my friend, his friend was a miner. It sounded first a bit complicated and unclear. and after some period of time I have heard from my friend that lots of people buy this coins and it may give a good profit one day. It sounded like something unreal, but after having learnt in deep about btc and crypto I started to be interested in crypto more seriously.

I don't think bitcoin is more used by criminals than other currencies.

Drug dealers always used cash, which is a lot more anonymous and untraceable than bitcoin is. There is a good TV show about this in Netflix, Narcos. This series tells the story of Pablo Escobar, a Colombian drug dealer who built an empire selling drugs in the united states.

He used only USD cash. In the TV show you can see he receiving millions and millions of dollars in cash. He couldn't even handle so much money, then he even started burying money to use later on!

Criminal activity has nothing to do with BTC. Criminals will use any kind of currency.

I first heard about bitcoin when I reading about privacy online. After a few days, i discovered an article saying that bitcoin was a good currency for privacy... I couldn't stop reading about it since then.

I got obsessed, bought a lot more & the rest is history.

I had about Bitcoin when I was in University then, no one knows how to acquire it cause there is limited information about it on net then. We had to joking play about it and it price as a means of one world currency and the price was also lesser than $1 making it look like it wouldn't survive in the long run if government policies eventually stand against it. Now Butcoin had been a gold that is needed to mined to acquire it, what a remarkable long journey since the creation of Bitcoin.

A solid strategy.

It'll bottom out soon enough I'm sure. They say "It's time in the market, not timing."
Timing helps, but time in bitcoin will pay out, no doubt.

Heard about it from an acquaintance, got quite fascinated by the concept and dived right into researching about it, I haven't looked back since then. This was during the beginning of the 2018 bear market, which gave me an experience of the market cycles.
It took me not long from here to own my first fraction of a coin.

There was in the news about problems related to a big exchange where people were trading dollars vs a coin that can be created by some computer processing and the coin can work without banks.
It was the end of 2013, the exchange was Mt Gox, and actually Bitcoin was no longer mined by CPU (nor GPU). I thought I've missed the train and I spent (too) long time with altcoins until I actually became Bitcoiner, but nobody's perfect. But that was when I first heard of Bitcoin.

When my friend introduce it to me but that time we do talk about on how to make income online and he had suggested about this forum and that's my first crypto journey and

same as yours, I did really have able to commit myself on learning even more and I was grateful that everything turns out to be beneficial on my part and since

crypto or bitcoin did really change my life in terms of financial but of course you would really be needing to work hard for it and not just wait up.

How did you first hear about Bitcoin?
^ One of my close friends abroad told me about BTC way back in 2015 but I ignored him for almost a year until such day he told me again that he gained profit and that time I never doubted I purchased my first BTC in LocalBitcoin and in Kraken. In the following months, I found this forum and that was 2016 which is what I thought before the only benefit is to learn blockchain technology but now not only by that. Just sharing this, before faucets and bounty hunters are very profitable not like these days.

How did you first hear about Bitcoin?

I've never actually heard of Bitcoin until a few years ago, when its price jumped to $ 20,000 for the first time. I guess I had heard of the cryptocurrencies, but I didn't think that they would ever gain traction. It was something that people talked about in fringe circles, but I didn't think that it would ever be a practical thing.

Obviously, I was young and stupid back then... I am a bit older now. ;)

If you want to share your experience about your first time to know Bitcoin, you can share it with a more specific title.
Ex: First time I know Bitcoin, My experience to know Bitcoin at the first time, etc

Regarding my experience, I have been familiar with Bitcoin for a quite long time. I have known Bitcoin since 2017 and I already bought some of Bitcoin at that time. When do you know Bitcoin exactly, mate @unotohero? You don't tell the detailed time on the thread above. You are better to let us know, so we know how long your experience in Bitcoin.

I first heard about bitcoin from my friend and the first time he explained to me he immediately said that bitcoin is the currency of the future and at that time I just laughed. But after a few months when bitcoin price started to rise drastically (2017-2018) I started to take more interest in bitcoin and find out more details about blockchain. Right now, i put all of my money into crypto and i believe in the future my investment will be my the best lotere i've ever buy.

A few years ago, my friend first learned about it. He made money on Bitcoin and recommended it to me so that I can learn and understand. After I fell in love with cryptocurrency, I also recommended it to my friends around me and let them learn. I also have many friends from all over the world in the cryptocurrency market.

The first time I came into contact with the encryption field was during the epidemic, I did not go out to work, and stayed at home every day. Friends talked to me about Bitcoin, which aroused my interest. I often went to him every day to learn and understand, so that I no longer I'm lazy. After I gradually learned about it, I also began to enter the market to invest in cryptocurrencies, and I have made considerable gains up to now.

Bitcoin appeared very early, but I only learned about it in recent years. I don't understand the concept of Bitcoin, I just saw news about Bitcoin on the Internet. But my lover chose to research in depth and started to invest in some altcoins, with very high returns. I asked her for advice, and under her leadership, I also began to enter the market. When I encounter a problem, she will patiently help me answer the question. I was lucky enough to meet my beloved one.

In 2011, my brother asked me to borrow money to buy equipment to participate in Bitcoin mining. My brother was only 18 years old at the time. I didn't know anything about Bitcoin, so I checked online and checked what Bitcoin is. The Internet said that Bitcoin is a scam. I believed this statement and rejected my brother's request. This is a decision I still regret.
It wasn't until 2018 that a friend of mine introduced me to Bitcoin, and I didn't really understand it in depth.

I first heard it was in 2017. Someone I knew talked  about it like it was the most interesting but complicated topic. They are earning so much with it. They share what they know about it to everyone including me. But I thought that it can be profitable that time and it will also end soon because not everyone can adapt it ( not everyone have access to internet, nor have gadgets and information) but I'm wrong because after a few years it is still there and it was known globally. It has great potential and a good investment that was surely profitable.

Hmmm let me think about it. I think the first time i heard about bitcoin in 2016, i know bitcoin from the famous forum in my country (Kaskus).

At that time, i've been looking to get extra money from that forum and most of that of members push me to do faucet to get token.

After doing the faucet, lucky me i know more information from this amazing forum (Bitcointalk) and i learned a lot from this forum and I am very grateful for this forum.

Now that you've learned more, hopefully, you're seeing that it's more than just another investment asset.

Right now, i put all of my money into crypto and i believe in the future my investment will be my the best lotere i've ever buy.
"Putting all your eggs in one basket" isn't a smart choice and since you mentioned crypto, instead of BTCitcoin, then I'm assuming you think that owning various cryptocurrencies counts as diversification but it doesn't [if BTCitcoin crashes, most likely others would follow as well (with the exception of a few)].

@unotohero
I'll quote myself, instead of repeating what I've said in an interview:

~Snipped~
Back in the day [early 2011], I used to be a gamer [FPS games, PC] and in one of the Facebook groups [gaming & PC build niche] that I was part of, there was a dedicated section that mentioned about BTCitcoin mining and I said to myself: "I already have the gear, I might as well use it to earn something back". So I did some GPU mining and everything was great for the first couple of months until my GPU died and I decided to completely abandon both mining and BTCitcoin as a whole [I was on a limited budget since I was just a college student].

I knew about bitcoin quite early, since I was a playful, destructive, innocent boy. I forgot them by date, I even forgot the name bitcoin still exists. And until, early in 2018, I was reunited with my cousin while on a flight, he shared his progress to become rich, full, financially free... I was suddenly realized, I missed my trip. I dived into investing and was really unlucky there.
But now, I won't lose that opportunity again.

i heard bitcoin on my friend who really interested to discover some stuff around the internet, and yes at first for me bitcoin is just nothing because that time your earnings from it is too small because the price is too cheap as well. And bitcoin isn't performing well but after months it becomes trending all around the internet even in television because of some rumors until the price rapidly increase and makes ATH and we really saw our money grow form our mobile wallet we are very happy that time. Lol But now seems not even the price really improved a lot.. I dont know why, maybe it's because of our losses from it? Lol

I had no idea what the hack cryptocurrencies are or why are people going crazy about it! I am a writer by profession. As a part of my daily practice, I try to read content on a wide diversity of topics and stumbled upon blogs pointing to Elon Musk's Twitter and his manipulation of the cryptocurrency market.
Therein I decided to know everything about the crypo. Currently, I am hodling a few of the top coins in scare amount, not bitcoin!

Since I had no expertise, I decided that staking will be the best strategy rather than trading. Here https://ttnex.io, I bought Ethereum.

But, I have been so long that now I want to become a trade as I hear and see so many people making unbelievable amounts of money with day trading.

I will be happy if anyone can suggest me some strategies. Though I do the math every day seeing the changes in prices, I am still not confident to start trading.

Is it necessary to tell you that when and where we first got to know bitcoin? is that the basis for someone who knows longer to own large amounts of bitcoin? not really.

Because actually not a few of them regret knowing bitcoin but they don't take advantage of it all by buying a number of bitcoins on a large scale.
Well, at least it was 2011 when I got to know bitcoin, and certainly not right away. it took 1 year to notice how bitcoin would be big in the future and decide to buy. It used to be that bitcoin wasn't that expensive, that's why regret comes and people admit they didn't know bitcoin much longer.

One of my best friends tells me about bitcoin when I search for an online job in 2013. He only says, why do you not try bitcoin? I never thought that it changed my life because once I learned how to collect satoshi from the faucet, I am trying to collect from many faucets' websites as in that year, it was easy to collect 100k satoshi daily. Bitcoin at that year is not too popular and not many of us knew about bitcoin. Bitcoin makes me curious and I never expected that the price could increase to $5k after I knew bitcoin.

I've heard it from a friend and I even thought of it as a scam which I regret until now. If I didn't doubt it years ago and listen to what my friend was saying about it, I should have gained a good profit already. I only realized that Bitcoin could be a future currency when it boomed during the 2017 bull run. From then on, I did my own research about it and studied about dealing with the opportunities that it offers such as trading and investing.

Why should we regret what we didn't have before when today we still have the opportunity to buy and own?
I will probably never regret such a thing as I am only 5 years adrift after bitcoin was created by Satoshi. Bitcoin used to be not as expensive as now but 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin forever. There are many doubt among investor and trader about the future of bitcoin so it is not as expensive as it is now. In addition, the adoption of bitcoin and the availability of information about bitcoin at that time was still quite low as a legal tender and made the interest in bitcoin not very large. I'm sure you had two of the biggest bullish period so far in bitcoin history and that was in 2017 and 2021 and it seem like a lot of people would never believe this if we asked the 2010 to 2015 range.

The first time I heard about bitcoin and saw the word 'bitcoin' was years ago when the price was less than 500 bucks there was a guy selling books only for bitcoin on the internet and since I needed to buy a rare book from him I had to do some investigation and see what is bitcoin and what is the usage of it. Unfortunately, since there were no enough resources for me I could just find articles saying bitcoin is being used for buying drugs and guns that's why I didn't buy and use bitcoin those days. Until months after that my girlfriend gave me some knowledge about bitcoin on my birthday and I bought my first bitcoin thanks to her.

I have first heard about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency from my friends that have first to get into engagement with it and have introduced it to me since they think that I would be interested into such kinds of stuffs and that is when I have started working into earning Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies on which I have also taught into my other friends that have frequently asking me about it and interested also to get into it. At first, it is a strange thing to me that such kind of currency do really exist because by that time I do not really have any idea with it. Big thanks to my dearest friends that have taught me and introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to me for the reason that I owe them everything I have right now.

When we do talk about future then theres no such thing about assurance or being safe because even you do know bitcoin then you would really need to work hard for you to progress.

The first thing i heard about bitcoin do came to my friend on where he did mention it out and tells me about this forum and i did really able to saw the opportunities that you could

It's the same with me, I found out about bitcoin from my friend and there was already a group for people playing bitcoin to gather. From there, I became more and more interested in bitcoin itself, which was interesting and the group of friends who were very friendly to help provide information as a beginner like me. And as a result, until now I have focused on working to get bitcoin, one of which is from the airdrop or from the trades that I run.

I heard about it from a friend who was interested. At the same time I read some things about the bitcoin bubble pop, as it was 2015, not long after the crash and actually near the bottom.
Fun fact is that the media love to talk about how bad the asset really is when it's at or near the bottom. They rarely bash it on the way up or at the top.

I googled some things, begun to watch youtube videos, bought some altcoins because at first I thought that altcoins and bitcoin are pretty much the same thing just priced differently. I had to spend a lot of time and lose some money to learn what I know now, but I'm happy with what I know and that it did not cost me more.

I was already doing things that are related to bitcoin like PTC and other stuff when I heard about it last 2015, back then we don't have huge popularity like we have today. Everything has been changed and the first day I invested was the best day of my life. I'm sure there are lots of people right here who have taken the opportunity as soon as they see the huge list of choices of how you can earn with bitcoins. I had firstly heard Bitcoin in 2017, but didn't give it any attention. Then, in February 2020 I got very interested and started learning about it. You know, the kind of obsession that lasts long ('til today!) and makes you want to leave everything else and just focus on that one thing? This is what I did in the summer of 2020, for the rest it is pointless to write. One thing lead to another and here I am, observing very bullishly my future holding bitcoins.

I don't think that I had a similar obsession before. It combines my favourite sciences; economics & computers'.

This topic has been discussed before, I think it is not really necessary to create a new one.

It was interesting and I finally decided to join it. I started to study and continue to learn so that I can better understand the crypto world. Initially I invested in some coins, after that I also tried to join the bounty campaign. It's not bad, I profit from it. Since then I was determined to focus and started thinking about investing in some coins that do have good prospects. I currently have some coins and hope I can profit from them. I learned to analyze the market well so I can determine the right time to sell or buy crypto.

Because I have been very active in the internet world for a long time, I found out about Bitcoin accidentally around 2015 in several articles on
the internet. But at that time I was confused by the explanation I read and I thought Bitcoin was just a joke. So it took about a year,
for me to be able to start to understand Bitcoin. I got a lot of explanations from my friends, and in 2016 I started collecting Bitcoins through
faucets. Finally entering the year 2017 Bitcoin is increasing in price and I started to dare to buy Bitcoin with my money. But my knowledge is
still lacking, then I buy Bitcoin when the Bitcoin price reaches ATH. I'm like other newbies, panicking because the price of Bitcoin is getting lower
in 2018. Finally I suffered a big loss at that time, but I don't regret it, With that incident, I now understand better how to invest in Bitcoin.

Before getting in touch with digital currency, I often heard stories about the currency circle and witnessed some friends slowly realizing the freedom of wealth, but they never stepped into the field of digital currency. Until the beginning of this year, I discussed this year's plan with a colleague. Colleagues said to invest 1% or 5% of assets to the forefront, today’s main trends, such as p2p and current digital currencies.Even if the investment fails, it will not affect the overall wealth. I started to understand the digital currency, I chose the exchange, all replaced by usdt, and started a little bit. Since I am a novice, I chose Bitcoin, and I am full of doubts about currencies other than Bitcoin.

It's nice to be reminiscing/flashback about bitcoin in the past, which at first seemed less valuable.. until it was very valuable, I first got to know it from a close friend, and I only knew about it on free faucet sites and other free claim rewards on the internet. as time goes by, there are more and more ways to get or many things related to bitcoin in the internet world until there are many opportunities to profit from bitcoin until now, it seems extraordinary when considering my journey so far, till I can be able to invest.

I usually don't believe in fantasy, I need concrete evidence for something I just know or hear.

When I first got to know Bitcoin, I often read on Google, I read and researched, what makes Bitcoin attractive to many people, then I have a friend who works in one of the government fiat currency exchanges, he told me about Bitcoin.
Long story short, my friend showed me the results of withdrawing Bitcoin to me, oh my god, it turned out to be real fiat money, at the end of the story I learned and got to know several exchanges and made transactions, finally like now.

I first got to know about bitcoin back in 2017 when my brother introduced me bitcoin faucets. It was a way of amassing bitcoin until it reached a significant amount and then you can withdraw.
This, however,  is not reliable as it takes a very long time to amass. Later, this same brother introduced me to bitcointalk. What kind of job you're referring to? Do you mean to say about bounty program from those altcoin projects in this forum? If it is the case, I think you and your friend doing it wrong to consider bounty program as a "job". Take it as a bonus only while you are learning about cryptocurrency in this forum.

I heard about bitcoin on Twitter when its price was $ 700, taking a look at the chart, it could have been 04-11-2016 and it wasn't until the following year that I created an account on bitcointalk and decided to learn more about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

According to what people who know about bitcoin for the first time say they decided to learn more, it is very unlikely that people will stop supporting it completely.
The more people learn about bitcoin the right way, they will surely have the satisfaction of knowing how to include it in their finances and get the best out of it.

It is never too late to invest in bitcoin if you haven't already, so do it. If the giant Amazon will include it very soon as a means of payment to bitcoin, it is because it is an accolade towards innovation where we already agree.

remembering the beginning of knowing bitcoin,,all can not be separated from the information of friends and now my friend already has a lot of experience in the crypto world and also I believe the assets he has exceed the assets of the rich people in my area if it is cashed..
back to this topic, info from friends does not go directly to bitcoin, but is invited to participate in this forum and that's where I can independently find out what bitcoin is and it turns out that changes have happened now a lot of people want to have bitcoin and make it an asset future.

there's nothing to be sorry for, friends, the important thing is that we are grateful to be involved and find out bitcoin early. see there are still many people who have doubts and contra on bitcoin and crypto in general, even though there are many benefits to be had. Is not it?
I used to have doubts when my friend invited me to learn bitcoin trading in the 2016s. At that time I also didn't think the price would be like it is now, unfortunately there is no time machine, lol, so like it or not we have to try our best to take advantage of the opportunities that exist.

That's a natural thing and maybe many feel the same as you, because at that time there were still many who doubted bitcoin and after rising to the highest price at that time many felt sorry.
and I got involved in bitcoin and this forum in May 2017 from some of my friends who have been involved for a long time, and they told me very clearly about bitcoin and the profit they generate which made me curious and finally got involved.
and I also felt the benefits that I got, which made me believe in bitcoin even more when the end of 2017 the bitcoin price reached $19,000 more because the first time I got involved I made small purchases gradually so that I got a satisfying profit.
and I also didn't expect the increase that happened yesterday, so don't ever regret the delay because there is always a chance to go up again if we believe and be patient.

If you do have the time to observe and learn there's a lots of opportunities, you don't  need to worry it's better to understand everything first before making your move,

Those who came first and enjoy their profits also doubt at first then realizing the benefits they start to move and work inside this market, don't worry since the value of bitcoin is progressive you should more concerns with your emotions, it can lead you to lose your money if you failed to control it properly.

I found out about bitcoin in December 2015, thanks to an ad I saw on a ptc site, then I decided to research more about the subject and found this forum, it was all coincidence. I didn't even remember this story at that time, at that time paypal prohibited PTC sites from using paypal on PTC sites and as an alternative PTC sites added bitcoin as a means of payment, I didn't use bitcoin because I didn't know it until I saw an ad in the form of a banner and the banner had bitcoin symbol, that's how I started researching bitcoin and found this forum and started making faucets, but with time I realized that it would take a long time to have a lot of bitcoin and so I sold my computer stuff and bought bitcoin

I first heard about it through my classmate and all I ever knew about it is that it is being used in online gambling since he is involved in such. He told us about bitcointalk afterwards and said that it has a potential of bringing us a lot of money in the future. We listened to him that's why after just a few years, we got ourselves into bounty campaigns and it was real, what he told us about the profit which exceeded our expectations. We're forever thankful for him as he gave us the opportunity to learn about bitcoin at a very early time. Now we're still investing in crypto and earning a lot still.

Many of the replies here are due to earning opportunities that Bitcoin can offer, while it was different for me. I first heard of Bitcoin due to my internet curiosity back around 2012-2013, due to how dark web works and I found out that Bitcoin is one of the currencies being used at that level of the web, though it was still a myth on if the layers of web below it exist. Moving on, I kept that misconception of Bitcoin being used only by criminals and I looked harshly into it not gonna lie. Until late 2017, one casual conversation with a friend brought up the "Bitcoin topic" and I was like "oh that is a primary currency used in dark web by criminals, right?" and he was like full no to me and advised me to research it more.
From that I did a research to clear up my misunderstanding about Bitcoin, and upon my first purchase of Bitcoin, I also registered here late 2017 as what you can see in my profile.

I, once again, became paranoid and ask if those "dark web users" are gonna be a thread for us Bitcoin hodlers in a thread here back in 2018. I locked the thread as it is irrelevant and it is just me being paranoid too much.

Well uhmmm, I wo see when that was actually, like in what year or era did your friend say this. As, if it were to be about 10 years ago, I would hardly believe it to have any sincerity about it as bitcoin had no real value then but should it be about now, 6BTC is a whole lot of cash and yeah, a lot of persons would more likely be ready to commit murder for that amount. Again, your information of bitcoin being about an online currency that nobody uses is inaccurate as even in the eay stage of bitcoin and I put this to be about 2009-2012, it was actively in use and was used in purchase by some users of this forum. You can find that info on the Parity Party thread.

Again, its the worst idea and not adviced to use Bitcoin for criminal activities. Please, those with this mindset should disease from it. Let's make bitcoin a decent currency and the world a better place with it.

You should really thank your friends, because they have succeeded in getting you interested in learning about the crypto world. Most people who are
not rich, choose to start owning Bitcoin by working as a bounty, so no need to spend money to be able to get Bitcoin. You are lucky when you first enter
the crypto world, when the price of Bitcoin was still cheap. By looking at the achievements of Bitcoin this year,  I agree with you that the price of Bitcoin
will still rise in the future. So don't hesitate to collect as much Bitcoin as possible, so we can make a lot of money, when the price of Bitcoin goes up again.

This is a great topic and one I have always wanted to know exactly how I personally found out about bitcoin.  I know that I found out about bitcoin sometime in 2013 and didn't purchase any until very early 2015.  It's funny but I actually had a dream the other night that I had first bought bitcoin in 2012 for like $100 bucks lol..no idea why I had that dream.  Anyhow I wish I knew exactly how I found out about it, but I do know it was 2013ish..I think it may have been through coin collecting.  The Anonymous Mint made 1 oz copper coins that had a bitcoin symbol on one side and something else on the other...I think this is how I first found out about it.

I am one of those guys who didn't took Bitcoin seriously when I first heard about it. And this happened back in 2011, when Wikileaks started accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. And later that year, one of my friends offered me to pay in Bitcoin, but I refused. I got my first BTC almost 1.5 years later, by the end of 2012. I regret about two things - first one that I didn't took BTC seriously in 2011, and secondly because I invested so little amount in 2012. I got 5000x returns so far, but imagine what could have happened if I had invested a good amount when I first purchased BTC.

That's good if you lived where most needed stuffs can be bought with bitcoin which I don't think there is a place like that yet.

Good thing if you're using a service/wallet that can be used to convert your bitcoin into fiat when purchasing those stuffs.

I first heard of Bitcoin in 2016 as college undergraduate. Someone had been invited (not by the schools' authorities) to speak to the students about it. Then, It was never of any concern to me. I just wanted to study and make good grades. To make a long story short, I picked up interest in it 2years ago when it felt like I was missing out. So I became curious. I'd surf the internet to get information on it even though I didn't understand the technical terms. I'd listen as my friends would talk about Bitcoin. I remember I had a friend who at that point got people to invest in Bitcoin and after sometime they'll get a certain percentage (this business crashed and he was almost sent to jail).

Hearing and seeing my fiery friend tell me about btc got me interested and find out what btc is. The first time I found out about the crypto world I was interested in continuing to learn about it, lots of questions arose when I saw it. How the profit can be obtained, how the risk will be obtained and also how the btc will grow. All of that came to my mind and made me interested in learning more. After I learned more I felt that I was on the right track with learning the crypto world. Investing in btc is a good and profitable thing but we also have to be careful and vigilant so that we don't experience big losses.

Yes, there are many ways to get money from Bitcoin so that someone can easily get a big profit to buy a car unit with the profit made from Bitcoin.

From there, I became more and more intense in studying Bitcoin to gain knowledge and make this an opportunity to earn money.

Will politicians be responsible for the people? Will politicians accept Bitcoin and continue to make Bitcoin more secure and free of criminal activity?

I am full of doubts. First of all, Bitcoin is decentralized. Criminal activities are not the first of Bitcoin. Criminal activities are more convenient and rampant in the world of legal currency. If politicians or even countries participate in Bitcoin governance, will Bitcoin lose its centrality? Bitcoin is Bitcoin, I hope to become more mature, and everyone should not give it too much social responsibility.

I heard about Bitcoin for the first time. My friend said that he bought a few computers to mine. I was surprised, don’t all the ore use large machinery? I gradually learned about Bitcoin. I also mentioned my understanding of Bitcoin in my first post: A ledger that can be unconditionally trusted, universally used in the world.

I first became aware of Bitcoin in early 2017 when a neighbor of mine invested in it and discussed with me its future prospects. Since most of the people in our country were not aware of Bitcoin at that time, I had no idea about it. On the other hand, since my neighbor is not engaged in any other profession, I am interested to know about it by looking at his way of lifestyle. Gradually through him, I started to learn and understand Bitcoin, and later on, I invested in it. This was really a  life-changing concept considering professional earning in my life.

One day, a friend said that he was cheated by a mining team. They raised funds and said they wanted to mine Bitcoin. After the funds are in place, they said they will establish a separate mine. Unfortunately, they have never appeared since then.

At first I thought Bitcoin was a scam, but as more and more people talked about it in my life, I started to pay attention and gradually changed from the impression of a scam.

Motivating someone who is drowning in a pandemic is really needed, especially for those who have been removed from work or for entrepreneurs who have gone bankrupt due to the pandemic. giving motivation is the same as awakening the soul, so it gives hope that there is another way to get out of this situation

When I first heard about Bitcoin, I didn't understand it, I didn't believe it could protect our privacy. I wonder why it can be anonymous, what technology it uses to protect our information, and why everyone invests in Bitcoin.
Later, after slowly learning about Bitcoin, I think Bitcoin is a fascinating currency, and that Bitcoin is really a great technology.
Now I would also like to recommend Bitcoin to my friends.

I first came to know of bitcoin from a friend. He is a chatterbox and wouldn't stop talking about bitcoin. I didn't fully understood what he was talking about so I made excuses not to buy. After some months I decided to give this bitcoin thing a try. I created my first bitcoin wallet and bought my very first bitcoins

When I just heard first time form my friend about Bitcoin. I just asked him what is bitcoin he told me that it is a crypto currency, asked again I don’t know what is crypto currency he told me that crypto currency is the virtual currency conducted by internet and digital wallet. Then I just start to investigate in online what is it and how it works and what are the advantages of it. After a certain period of time deserve most of the things concerning the issue.

The first time I heard about Bitcoin was 2012, when my brother was trying gist my sister how a colleague of his made a sum of money online..trust me I didn't believe and I'm sure she didn't too. We both thought it was a scam and that it wouldn't last because it was online.
Not until 2019 when my friends started trading and they really started talking about the whole thing. It didn't take me much proof of it's genuinity before I joined the train.

 :D

in my case in 2016 none of my friends and I dare say that maybe not even 1% of people in my country did not know about bitcoin, I knew bitcoin by coincidence in an ad on a PTC website, I did a lot of research and I confess that not even with the research i didn't understand anything and i made many mistakes mainly i was tricked and stolen bitcoins with scammers from this forum, i also lost btcoins with that disgusting scheme that some scammers use where the person copies an address to send bitcoin but the bitcoin is sent to another address
