Title: A thankful heart ❤
Post by: KingsDen on August 07, 2021, 07:54:55 AM
I was unsure how to go about this post and which board to publish it. Perhaps, should I use Pm? I discovered that using Pm might be a clear definition of an unsolicited message, hence this post.

My path to this forum was not smooth, but the forum users, especially listed below smoothened the path knowingly and unknown to them.

Some of them are helpers, some are builders while some are motivators, in whichever category, they contributed immensely for my sake.

The Pharmacist(My 24/7 support line)
CryptopreneurBrainboss
DdmrDdmr
LoyceV
Welsh
Ognasty
Quickseller
Pmalek
fillippone
Upgrade00
Rath_
And others numerous to mention.

I always have the feeling of an ingrate not having a way to say thank you, but after this post, I will be ok.
As I always say, there will be no forum, without the forum users. No wonder when I think about the forum, I think about the users in it and not other things. I sincerely believe that before my 4yrs in this forum, I would get to meet some of the forum users in person.
I am grateful forum, and I believe the best version of the support I have enjoyed so far is yet to come.
Thank you all!

N/B: Try and show inclination to grow, there are so many Angels willing to help you. So interesting, I don't know any of the above users in person.

Almost every first pm is unsolicited. Do not sweat about it to much, except you are sending pms numerous members or sending messages to advertise a service or product.

I always have the feeling of an ingrate not having a way to say thank you, but after this post, I will be ok.
Your contribution to the forum is enough thank you. If every member took out their time to contribute positively, rather than only looking for how to benefit themselves, this forum would be a far more better place.

I sincerely believe that before my 4yrs in this forum, I would get to meet some of the forum users in person.
That's quite unlikely, for a privacy centered forum.

That's the essence of it being a pm, something not entirely meant for public view but then, its either your directed to send a pm. If the pm is of your own intent, its got to be unsolicited otherwise, you might as well air as you wish to the public like you just did.
One place where most persons pick offenses with pm is not in the unsolicited nature of it, but with the content of the pm. A pm that is about merit begging, unnecessary bargaining, abuse/insult and perhaps when a pm comes rather too regularly even when it's it's ignored severally. It could be some sort of a disturbance and an offence.

It's an interesting thing really to see users with merit count that beats there activity series. This is what brought me to your profile and I'm impressed with the contributions you've you've doing on the forum. Your account was active almost immediately after registration and you've got threads on most boards. I would say, you shouldn't wear out in your bid to add to the forum and at the same time encourage beginners to learn from your ways and be an asset of not just the forum but the crypto community. Congrats in advance, even as you wait ok your activity series to rank up.

If you consider yourself a good poster, I see no reason to create such themes. You deserve it, and, in theory, the merits given to you are a kind of gratitude for your work from the members of the forum.
Isn't it?
But by creating such a topic, do you acknowledge that all the merits are given to you as help? It is not right. For this, the merit system was introduced. The fact that you contribute usefully to the forum is returned to you with gratitude of merit.
So stop fawning. If you are worthy of your merits, take it for granted, if not, then continue to be a sweet snowflake.

Oh! If so I have to think less about this, if might happen. However, the online presence of people represents whom they are in real life.

I am honoured! The journey just began. It's been my desire to be in a forum with classified knowledge, where I can learn and contribute. Social media platforms like Facebook and twitter could not grant my desire, happy I found here.

If you consider yourself a good poster, I see no reason to create such themes. You deserve it, and, in theory, the merits given to you are a kind of gratitude for your work from the members of the forum.

I clearly understood you sir. However, even though I deserve the merit awarded to me, let's therefore see the post as an appreciation for making good use of the merit system and also for motivation.
Thanks!

Your movement to the forum is showing something different, which i think any newbie have to emulate your method of composition and research, actually this community need to be motivated or inspired by a user innovation, for the few months you have stayed or spend here, you have been creating a tangible impact that shows your activeness and the same time your consciousness towards better contribution, looking at your Merit status and your activity it's obvious that your merit is higher than your activity which is a sign of good forum development, i really applaud you but never feel reluctant for your activeness.

Agreed. I am thinking that OP is deeply acknowledged those who helped him by posting them. Nothing is wrong about this post, but he should be aware that merit isnt about helping a friend to rank up but to appreciate a post that helps other. Thats what I think when he mentioned those who (help) sent merits him the most.

Congrats OP, you should continue what are you doing and learn to appreciate your contributions and dont consider it as form of help by those youve mentioned. They just really like what you posted.

correct, merit is the proof that you have made a post that really help other people as you have said merit is not sent to a forum users just to rank up. It's good that op didn't forgot how op ranked up or received a total of merit because of the contributions kingsden made. I have noticed the threads that op made in Beginners and help so I know op put an effort in creating the threads.

Thank you senior mate for the commendation, I am honoured. It feels good if one's little effort is recognised and appreciated, no doubt it will motivate to put in more.

I never could tell that my singular statement could inspire someone.  That is how I am inspired randomly by people. Please remain inspired and give your best always.

Thank you very much, I will try to put in my best, even when not good enough. I so much believe my best days in this forum are yet to come.

Exactly if a member has ranked up and received merits it is not that it was just given as gift or help to you but based on the quality of your post and information provided by you is worthy or not.The introduction of merit system was to motivate members to write up quality posts and forum see less shitposters and if you are gaining merits from other members it means you have potential for the same and keep going the same way and you will soon get to the highest rank.Although it's good that you have thanks feelings for all merit givers but save them for future.Your posts determine your merit and ranking up so keep working effectively towards it man.Best wishes you ahead.

I read through your history posts. You have indeed made a lot of contributions, such as some must-read and plagiarized posts for newbies, but I always feel that a bit of labor is used and space is wasted. I think it is enough to post this kind of post once, and you don’t need to post a bunch of posts. This kind of post has been posted by the moderator and many friends.

Isn't it?

If everyone sends a main post to those who need to be grateful in this section, there will be 10,000 thanksgiving posts in this section. I think it’s best to thank them and see how they do it and how they win everyone’s respect.
For example, the quality of fillippone's main post may be, and his post is very enjoyable, especially

Is Bitcointalk.org losing user base?

For example, the statistics of DdmrDdmr are very detailed, which is a real contribution

Very brief overview of Merit Source sMerit Increase impact (first few days)
You are really an outstanding newcomer, and I often read your posts. I hope to see more of your content.

I heard a lot of people saying it's hard to get merits in the Bitcointalk forum but I think they are wrong! What I've learned from some replies on this topic is that whenever you will post a good thing "something meaningful/positive" then you will grant merit/merits from seniors because you deserve it for your good work :)

The beginning is always scary, but I will work hard and I know I will get merits!

N/B: Try and show inclination to grow, there are so many Angels willing to help you. So interesting, I don't know any of the above users in person.

The thing is, if you're willing to help yourself people will be willing to assist you. Don't think there aren't those willing to help new members on the forum, infact they're one of the most helped members of the forum. You just have to find something you're good at and improved on that. Engage in more quality discussion and not hiding in spammy threads that your contribution won't have much impact on the discussion.

You decided to be a contributive users which is why you're getting the rewards you deserve. Congratulations on your new rank. You don't have to know anybody before your post can get merited. They get merited because they're worth the merits they received.

Majority of the participants of the forum don't know themselves yet they still get merits that's to show what's is been looked at is the quality of the posts and not the nationality of the person making the posts. Just keep it up and you'll achieve greater highs, congratulations once again.

Thank you sir! This community would be better if we have more people like you. I have gone through some of your works, including charity (a way of giving back to the society), please keep it up.

One thing I've known the bitcointalkforum to be good for is that, it is one forum that is good at either pushing a user towards being at his or her best or they just help you be the worst you could be and eventually you get banned. A forum that doesn't stop at just moderating but the investigation on its memebers for flaws is surely a step towards the right direction. It puts you in a conscious state of being right, doing it right at all times. Coupled with the fact that, its got an evaluation system that makes users to be indepth about there content creation skills to be about the best quality they can produce to enable them rank up.

Your archeivement as you have it now, you owe it to yourself @OP, no one else but, yourself. Every user who seemed to have been fund of your content, its because you were able to aid there understanding or they see the zeal and potential in you which makes you an asset worth keeping. Keep contributing good and be sure of more wins.

I believe the people you mentioned above have a good heart because they want us to grow with them and contribute better in this forum. You must be one of that lucky guy who can make a great relationship with people around you that's why people also give good feedback to you. I also have to say my gratitude to CryptopreneurBrainboss for my first merit. He possibly doesn't know how happy I am and it surely motivates me to contribute better to this forum. Gratitude is always important to people around around you. Have been following most of your write up and I have learn a lot from them. It's not a surprise to see you at this point which you are, it shows it is as a result of hardworking.

First let me congratulate you for the rank you achieved. As a total beginner im seeing forward of achieving status like yours by giving and saring information that is helpfull and accurate. Big ups for the good spirit and good luck in the future developments of yours !
Thank you very much.
It all happened very fast as I least expected. You can do it and better than myself. The main thing is to discover your interest and abilities, strike from the area of your core essence and you will prevail.
As you can see, I am not technically inclined and neither do I posses special skills. But I was able to grow because I discovered where I can help with what I have.
Also, there will come a time you need to hibernate for good and that is the period I am now.

Gratitude is always important to people around around you. Have been following most of your write up and I have learn a lot from them. It's not a surprise to see you at this point which you are, it shows it is as a result of hardworking.
We cannot toe the opposite of Gratitude. At every point I see reasons to be grateful and I seize every opportunity to express same. Though this forum has changed many styles of my life but it cannot change my gratefulness even if they term it begging I don't care. Cheers!

KingsDen, Glad to see you managed to rank up, and congratulation for that.

It is always important to have gratitude in any situation whether we are doing well or not. Thanking anyone who has helped us grow is something that must be done and as a form of gratitude for what we have achieved so far is to return to contributing to the community. I hope you will never stop here because there are still many thing you have to do if you still want to continue the adventure until you reach Legendary. So do it with passion and stay consistent, it will help you grow faster than you predicted. As long as this merit system exists, I can also feel what it's like to reach a new rank, and not too long ago I only managed to rank up to Legendary after struggling to improve in quality.

Thank you very much and congratulations for reaching the apex. The struggle in the forum is not an easy one, most time I don't blame some newbies that give up on the long run.
The merit system is working well but the forum itself is like two double edge swords, one in the hand of an unknown friend, the other in the hand of an unknown enemy.
Whatever be the case, we are not giving up. We must get there.
Thanks very much for the encouragement.

You only achieve yours when you engaged yourself seriously to the platform of bitcointalk community because what will sky rocket you is the ability to carry on research of things that is unknown to the community, secondly observation and determination, build up yourself with different dimensions or varieties of what will profit forum users, i noticed that this account has been adamant since you created it and how are you going to achieve the same height with someone who are active and curious to make the community better, the difference between active user and non active user is activities and understanding of new concepts of bitcoin here, because your consistence makes you to be acquainted to new informations of cryptocurrency.
