The Exodus site has now become the subject of many scams and I have found so many sites with the name exodus to get seeds/phrases, so this site is always slipping in the google ad page when doing a search.

The point is it's better to bookmark the original URL.

Bookmarking website you often visit is very good but this is probably targeting new users who never heard about Exodus.
Once you download wallet from official website you almost never visit that website again, and updates are done directly from wallet.
Thy probably have exodus scam ads on google to attract more people.

I don't usually do this but it's a useful thing to do when you are visiting a lot of important website. People have to be really careful about this phishing websites because they're a really devastating attack specially to an individual who doesn't have a lot of money plus there's even a possibility that your data is going to be stolen too.

Thanks for the heads up and it gives a warning to the newcomers in the crypto space for those who are here.  Regarding the phishing site, I think it's already shut down because I can't able to access it.  We must avoid using the Google search engine as always and yes, bookmarked it once you are already accessed the site.

Where did you find this phishing site?  It's really fresh made and it was 2 days ago.
It's really smart for those scammers nowadays, they are willing to spend a small amount of their money just for the SSL certificate that looks like their phishing website seeing real one at the first glance and if someone didn't familiar with the domain name for sure they will fall on their trap.  And if you have research that is similar to those similar Exodus Websites, here on this link (https://instantdomainsearch.com/search/domains?q=exodus.com), there are a bunch of Exodus websites that are available to purchase.  Is it possible scammers will purchase it for scamming purposes?

For those who already know, of course they will download the Exodus application from the official website and only do updates, it is almost never visited because the official site never asks for seeds / phrases in it, so this possibility targets beginners who come and look for wallet for himself and if he finds the wrong phishing site then of course it will be a loss, because we know that beginners are always a little careless where they don't do research first and in the end become victims of these beginners.

I strongly believe you've mistaken the link @$crypto$ (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353250.msg57641010#msg57641010) provided, with the one posted by @notblox1 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353250.msg57640775#msg57640775)[OP].
- Unfortunately, you can still access it.

Most of them just get it for free upon registering a domain or purchasing a hosting plan and on top of that, it isn't that hard to find a bunch of free SSL certificate providers on the internet.

Once you invest in Cryptocurrency or anything related to investing online or active in social media you should be particular on URL on your browser, scammers and hackers are not only stealing money they also steal your information because they know that once they steal your information it will be easy to trick other people because of your profile.

A well-established site has a good traffic rank and phishing sites usually are newly created so when you have doubts open another tab for Alexa and let Alexa analyze the traffic flow of the site you are visiting, bookmarking if you are on your own computer will help to trace and land on the right site also, a phishing site cannot imitate the traffic rank of a well established site.

You have to be careful. Because it is difficult to predict when they will attack using the name of a website. I try to keep myself as safe as possible. And for this I bookmark the links of important websites. Because it cannot be said that if we give important information on a phishing website due to our own negligence, it will be very dangerous. So it is important to be careful to keep yourself safe and to resist scammers.
