Post by: NotATether on September 20, 2021, 12:03:02 PM Lottie animations are not a standard animation format like .GIF and .WEBP are, so it'll be very difficult to find a parser for the JSON, and I have no idea how you'd manage to output this in a web format anyway (that is, without exporting to another format, but it would defeat the purpose of your proposal).
And that's assuming a modern tech stack - I highly doubt such a modification is possible on SMF, which runs on PHP, so can't draw the vectors inside the JSON on the screen anyway. Post by: LoyceV on September 20, 2021, 03:17:51 PM Animated GIF avatars have been disabled a long time ago, and since 2019 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5114171.msg49921264#msg49921264) theymos detects and rejects (new) animated APNGs too.
The agressive animations used by some signature campaigns make the forum annoying to read. That's why I don't think the forum will add more animations any time soon. |
