Title: [SCAM] Multiple Accounts & Thread Spamming
Post by: so98nn on September 25, 2021, 11:50:11 AM
This is first time I am making such thread or being active in this section.
Currently I am watching a person with multiple accounts and spreading spam regarding project name PEGASV.

If you just open up your bitcointalk home page then you will see these threads all over. With same content and name.

Scam Alert 🚨

Surprisingly I saw different usernames with the same name and changed number at the end.

Usernames:

Pegasis2
Pegasis5
Pegasis6
Pegasis8

Could be 1-8 accounts everywhere.

Posting same thread all over the forum.

I am not sure where to report this. So posting right here.

There are more accounts with altered name who has started posting the same.

More. . .

Wow, they're not even bothering hiding their identity now or the person behind these accounts are to naive to know that multi account is frowned upon practice albeit not a banable offense. These kind of people have plagued this forum for a long time right, different accounts posting the same thread.

There are several threads created by other members, about them one of them is in the meta (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5362139.0) and if you see from BPIP all these accounts have been blocked, the mod responds quickly about the Spamming.

OP, for that if you see anything suspicious like that, you can quickly report it to the mod and it will also be cleaned quickly, I think reporting the right steps at this time is the best.

So, maybe you can lock this topic, because the spam problem has been resolved, in the future don't forget to report it, it's very much appreciated and of good value.
