Title: Bitcoin has died 474 times
Post by: RapTarX on October 21, 2021, 06:54:32 PM
Recently, I was stumbled upon 99bitcoins.com (http://99bitcoins.com) & found these interesting Bitcoin Obituaries (https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/). It's in fact a record of how many times people forecasted the end of bitcoin and the official count is 432 474 up until now. There are thousands more which we have no record of but this has the record. The interesting part is that in the following graph you can get the source where someone has forecasted the death/end of bitcoin. It's pretty cool; I have read a few from long ago. There are some more interesting stats you may enjoy. Don't forget to have a click on the page.

Extremely interesting I have to agree, you don't find such nice data points easily, the best part is all of these people were notable names of the financial world and a few of them have even changed their opinions lately. But the worst part is the audacity and confidence that some people have while saying that Bitcoin is worthless, I mean everyone is obviously free to have an opinion but saying outright that a thing which has a market cap of more than a trillion is absolutely shit and will become zero one day. You really have to be quite stupid to buy this.

These articles are written usually from haters and since it always had haters, this occurs often. If you notice it, they keep their mouth shut during bull runs, but appear in bear runs when they believe they were right.

Their attitude towards bitcoin is justified. It is called psychological projection (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection).

99bitcoins had this since 2018 and has the highest number of archives (I guess).

I remember someone shared a website with fancy looking chart/illustration website regarding the list of "bitcoin is dead" reasons :D, but sadly, I can't find the thread.

EDIT: I guess this is the website https://www.bitcoinisdead.org/

Pretty much says that haters are gonna hate.

Yes, I'm familiar with that website and visited it multiple times already and at first I was affected by it. But in the years that I have been with bitcoin and crypto in general, I just thought that it is funny when haters saying bitcoin has died and yet we have a new all time high. And I just whatever happens to bitcoin in the future this haters are going to say negative things and will continue to do so specially in a bear market.

And I will not be surprised if the number keeps on getting bigger and bigger.

There are still a lot of people that are upset with bitcoin's growth and success, and will literally shout at the top of their lungs that bitcoin is dying the moment the price goes awry and reds are being posted on charts. Idk what they are gaining from being haters of bitcoin, but it's fun to see them disappear whenever bitcoin goes against their doom prophecies.

But they can keep on trying, though. Maybe they'll hit the bull's eye and bitcoin actually goes dead by that time :D

Thats a very interesting link for sure. That chart just proves how wrong
they have been - every time

As we see more ETF's getting approved we will see greater acceptance
of Bitcoin by the Business class and high net worth investors, you know,
the ones who up until now have been the ones shooting down Bitcoin.

As soon as they see it as just another stock, commodity, currency and
can make more money off of it the less they will hate it.

432 times (and counting) = 432 people (and counting) talking negative and hating Bitcoin. But I don't think they remain nega knowing that they are wrong about their predictions.

We can stop people from getting bitter to see the success of Bitcoin, they are close-minded individuals but anyways, who cares, right? Many had proven it and appreciate the benefits that we got from this. They just only few and no matter what they are saying, it is still won't affect the market.

There are still a lot of people who are annoyed with the growth and success of bitcoin, and will literally scream in their heads that bitcoin is dying at a time when the price is volatile and red is being posted on the charts. And this will go on much more if all the statistic here is one of those BTC haters who want to bring down BTC and of course anything that has likes and dislikes. so I don't see any surprises here.

It's a slap to those that have said that bitcoin has died. It has reached a new ATH and despite correcting right now, it's still at the price of $62k. They'll be the ones to feel bad about it but understanding the situation, we're still good with the price that it has.
And again, whenever there will be bad news, it won't stop them to say that bitcoin is dead and worthless and whatsoever. They're living with those lies and bitterness.

Died many times but this one is Immortal.  8)

People never ever learn and to those people who do claim out about bitcoin being dead then for sure they had changed up their minds and hearts and become supporter instead
specially now it had break another all time high.

Corrections and price decrease we're normal because there would really be a point where people do really make out some sell off or taking profits.
Lets just deal on what this market holds.

Confidence? They may say such things with a straight face on camera or in social media but they must be crying deep inside for all we know hehehe.

I just continue to ignore people who still says it's a bubble or not backed by anything and let the market show it to their faces.

I am wondering, what is meant by the dead for Bitcoin in this case actually?
Dead mean dead, will there be another life after that died in a similar world?
Hemm or this is only an accuse or glance saying by someone who loves justifying about something?
Are they are professionals and do they really know about the Bitcoin chart?

I am personally never thought about this, what I am thinking is about Bitcoin right now and the possibilities about the future. We all cannot know or predict the future exactly. We may be dead before the Bitcoin is dead  ;D
BUt we may also not know if Bitcoin will last forever

I just wonder how all these people who have written all this nonsense over the years feel, have some changed their minds, are they ashamed or do they still insist on digging virtual graves? All this seems even stranger if we know that Bitcoin is not something that was created a few months or 2-3 years ago, and such articles are constantly appearing.

Human stupidity is limitless, I think it surpasses the size of the universe.

And has also revived 432 times? Kidding, it has never actually died imo, as long as at least maybe two-person actually use it, it would always be alive. It's a medium after all, even if a thousand haters show up, as long as it's core purpose remains and people still use it for what it's worth, haters would basically have no choice but to actually accept that Bitcoin isn't exactly dead, and their rants wouldn't do anything, at all. There are some of those probably, that have changed and have accepted Bitcoin for the better. Afterall, I'd reckon true haters would actually know the relevance of what Bitcoin is right now.

That was the lousy act perpetrated by the Bitcoin haters, every time there will be an issue or even a simple market correction they are present shouting Bitcoin is dying! But no matter how many times they are going to do that, Bitcoin remains standing and stronger than ever before by achieving a new all-time high record and beating many speculations against Bitcoin. that's why my question is, Is that a sign of dying? that's crazy haters gonna hate let them feel the stress of being a hater. long live Bitcoin.

Even those against Bitcoin do not believe it will die, hence why they fight against it so hard. And those who insist on believing Bitcoin is dead actually cannot change their minds ever. Simply because they are stuck in their own system (like fiat or gold or whatever).

They did not forecast anything. They only see Bitcoin makes new all time highs and are jealous with Bitcoin hodlers. When price has big corrections, they are happy and try to laugh at Bitcoin investors "Bitcoin dies".  ;D

If any investor let Bitcoin dies news affect decision, it is best if the investor leaves the market. Because weak hands can not survive in crypto market. In addition, being weak hands because don't spend time to read fundamentals and with knowledge, it is not belief but confidence that support investment decision.

Those naysayers did not researched well on Bitcoin they are just putting up their own myopic conclusion on something they did not actually explored and understood...and I think this is quite expected since Bitcoin is a type of a disruptor. Right now, there are some senators who are leaning to think that Bitcoin has no value at all and is just a medium for illicit activities and scammers, just like Senator Elizabeth Warren. I am not blaming these people because ignorance and stupidity run on all humans including those who got verifiable high educational status. Now, am sure that this is not the end of some people pronouncing Bitcoin to be dead considering that the asset is really volatile.

Some changes while some don't. I can't remember the guy on twitter who was in breaking news for a while; have never changed. It's Peter or someone else. Most importantly, he was never ashamed of his shit speculation on bitcoin. There are people who don't want to lose in debate. They always try to defend their wrong statement even though they know they are wrong. Most of them belong to this type I believe.

Each person is really totally different and its true that some of them are trying to fight out something which its clear that they are already on the wrong side but still thriving that they are right on what  they had thinking

and even people had already see him look like negatively or something funny because of those things that he's trying to fight for but well its their own perception on things and we do have our own views which we should

really respect on but basing off with those current happenings on the market then you could really say that its totally opposite on some peoples mindset and beliefs.

There have always existed haters. But it is fixed only 432 rumors that BTC is dead. That's a remarkably small amount if to take to account all Bitcoin hodlers, traders and miners. Today's reality shows that a lot of us would rather die from Covid-19 or vaccine against Covid-19 then BTC will die. In fact it's enough only one working miner for BTC to live and it can be mined till 2140 year.

Actually I think most of the ones who claim it after 2017 are the same people,,, or people trolling.

I think there is a lot of general ignorance here, because people should know the material they are writing about - and most just do copy/paste with translation, so if the news source is bad, all other news that has its base in such news is bad. Not so long ago, literally, all the media announced the killer of Bitcoin (FB Libra), and almost no one bothered to compare what Bitcoin is compared to FB coin - and even if that project succeeded then (and if it ever comes to life) it can't be Bitcoin killer.

Human stupidity is not only limitless, but expanding, like the universe  ;D

You're right, I think your definition is much better than mine - with a small addition, human stupidity is expanding much faster than the universe ;)

These are useless statements issued by the people who hate bitcoin and there are reasons for this hatered:

1) The no coiners who don't have any bitcoin and simply criticize others also

2) Those holding some shitcoins in their portfolio and the coin is not showing any growth signs but on the other side btc is growing and they think there shitcoin has much potential than btc and it could surpass it.

3) Those government puppets who cannot let freedom in hands of common people and fear btc could disturb the centralised monetary system by distributing the fund allocation in all hands rather than a central point. They are living in delusional world where fiat is powerful and bitcoin is used for criminal activities and those people will put their future at stake.

As you said bitcoin has been dead 432 times and you can see when prices will be at $200k then it would be 532 times or more as people will keep repeating same bullshit but bitcoin doesn't give a damn about them and will progress. The adoption curve is now increasing and see the prices are standing at $60k above beside all these obituaries and will continue the same growth.Bitcoin is freedom and people don't easily understand it's meaning.

People who said that bitcoin is dead are those with out knowledge in crypto or maybe they are investors of bitcoins before but unfortunately they lost all their investment. There are also people hate bitcoins because they don't have bitcoins and they saw other people investing in bitcoin already have a good life(ENVY). There are so many reasons why people said that bitcoin is dead, worthless or they just hated bitcoin because they think bitcoin is a scam. But they are all WRONG! It is really inevitable that there are people who are narrow -minded, negative -minded and unwilling to accept something that can change their lifestyle(BITCOIN).

Bitcoin is like "A hero in Mobile Legends with infinite Immortality" or
Bitcoin is like "A hero in Dota 2 with infinite Aegis of the Immortal" :D. If you are playing these 2 MOBA games then you know what I mean :)

After what happened in Bitcoin, I didn't expect that there will be some who will say that Bitcoin is dead or the like. This trend has been there since the start of my crypto journey in 2017 and until now after defying what these anti-Bitcoiners are saying, they are still saying the same thing :D.

Well, we have our own opinions though so let them say whatever they want to. In the end, they will realize that what they are saying are complete nonsense. A complete waste of time and after that, they will just join the train and buy some Bitcoins and remain silent :D.

NO TIME TO DIE.

there is a movie called 'no time to die' and the next time those people calling bitcoin gonna die, someone should film it and show them in their face.
even a lot pf government who blame bitcoin and really hate it in the past .. thesedays they prefer to follow it carefully and welcome it as time goes by .. and it become a huge power for bitcoin to remain exist and even more stronger to build its ecosystem , not just a temporary power.

I hear this often and also read it occasionally, the annoying thing is why people often predict the death of bitcoin when they themselves haven't tried and seen the technology in it, while it's very easy to access

I've also heard there are some people who predicted the death of bitcoin finally bought it and became a true holder now, people will not believe that nonsense anymore about the death of bitcoin and it will continue to live and even continue to grow

Majority of these claims arises from the fact that they know very well that they will get the notoriety they are looking for and will get the media presence and some have earned a lot of money doing these silly things and some dare to continue to this day. Once there is a major market correction everyone starts popping up telling how the bubble broke and how their prediction was spot on  :D.

The only option is to ignore and move on as there is no point in arguing with them.

Actually, before opening this thread I thought the title was mere hyperbolic; an exaggeration of some sort, but I guess it isn't. I'm not surprised nonetheless finding an obituary of Bitcoin for 2017 to be the highest of them all according to the site –2017 (124), for that was when the bubble FUD was at its peak. In fact, it was that experience of 2017 that formed my resolution that Bitcoin is truly a phoenix; a cat with nine lives. This day, I don't care about whatever negative opinion people have about Bitcoin because I know (from experience) that whatever happens Bitcoin will definitely recover and come out top.

Journalists have sensationalized and have made money off of telling people that a certain asset has already died off or is already in the verge of extinction. They did this in the past, they will do it again. It's just up to the people to believe in their shenanigans or if they will do their own research and in that process allow themselves to be the masters of their decisions. Bitcoin will inevitably fall in price in the future, that's just how things go in the crypto world, but it dying? UNLIKELY.

A cat with 432 and counting lives you mean lol. If each dump bitcoin is considered dead then we'd already have mourned over our losses a couple hundreds of times already. But look at us, still kicking, still buying high and selling lol for the newbies lmao. It's all just up to the people who really see potential from the cryptocurrency industry and its affiliate sectors to stay because of its potential in the future or run away with their losses prevented or alleviated but missing out on future winnings.

I’m really surprised that the data shows that people still assumed that Bitcoin is dead even at the price of 60,000. If someone is going to be thinking that Bitcoin is dead at this point, then they must be really dumb to think so. Even after all that has happened over the years, some people are still having that kind of thought?

I thought that we have gotten over this years ago around 2015 when there were people who were saying that Bitcoin is coming to an end and then all of a sudden the price started booming. But all that still didn’t teach them a lesson and they still continued it till now, it’s really surprising that they would be doing that by now.

The main thing here is that in the end, Bitcoin is now at its best. Despite all the "deaths", he was resurrected and again on top!
Right from time the deaths of bitcoin since the existence never be noticeable, because bitcoin always put smile on the faces of investors, despite that the bull run of it doesn't come always, but their is every tendency that they will be a substantial hope concerning bitcoin anytime and any hour, even though i invest in bitcoin today and it happens to drop in price, their is a strong believe or measure that it will recover, so therefore bitcoin bitcoin dieing a million times is it's nature to achieve another step.

whenever the price of bitcoin starts to drop a lot for a long period of time we have to read things like bitcoin will die and unfortunately that won't change anytime soon, today we're at $60,000, but what if there happens to be a sharp price drop something like 30% drop for example and if it's a prolonged drop of many months we'll go back to reading things like bitcoin will die, that's because people just want to see the price go up but don't think the price can go down. In the past I thought that people who said bitcoin was going to die said that because they just didn't like bitcoin but over time I realized that it's all about profits and personal interests, it's not about liking or not liking, maybe just people they say that bitcoin will die because they want to buy it cheaper or because they are frustrated because they buy it at a high price

It's nice you're still updating the info, op. I also like it that the website keeps track of the numbers per year, although sometimes it's hard to understand why some years have more declarations of deaths than others. For example, 2017 is the leader, but it was a great bullish year for Bitcoin. Then we see the number decreasing for a few years before hitting another fairly high point in 2021, even though, again, it was ultimately a bullish year for Bitcoin. 2022 is quite low, and 2023 is very low, but there are several months left.
It just seems to me that the opposite would make more sense. I'd understand Bitcoin being declared dead more during the bear market than the bull market, as during the former people can believe that it's never going to recover. But clearly, that's not how it works, and good years have a lot of declarations, while bad years show a downward trend. Maybe it's simply related to Bitcoin generally getting more attention when the price is on the rise...

All i know is that bitcoin has come to stay, we live by it no matter the conditions around the society we lived in as long as nothing is changing from what bitcoin has always been, people have the freedom of speech in making their own contributions, attacks and other suggestive ideas about bitcoin which will move not even an inch from what bitcoin is, the attack has always begin with the government for it regulations, so if they can not triumph in that, no level of attack could challenge bitcoin existence in life.

This is quite true. I remember in Dec 2017 Bitcoin was at its peak and trading at ATH of 19k and a year later Bitcoin was trading at 3500$. At that time everyone was saying that Bitcoin is going to die very soon but that never happened.
The best time to buy Bitcoin was when its down but people start speculating that Bitcoin game is over. Ups and down are in every market and Bitcoin market is not an exception.

Funny to see such data which only proves Bitcoin's strong survival.

“Bitcoin Is Dead” - The #1 Database of Notable Bitcoin Skeptics (https://buybitcoinworldwide.com/bitcoin-is-dead/).

Bitcoin has less dead callings over time and it is logically as part of Lindy effect (https://vijayboyapati.medium.com/the-bullish-case-for-bitcoin-6ecc8bdecc1) which was mentioned in The bullish case for Bitcoin.

The number is decreasing recent years according to Bitcoin Obituaries (https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/)

Death of bitcoin is very common thing. In the past we were able to see the death quite often. Nowadays things have changed alot due to the awareness provided. Earlier whenever there is some negative incident happened relative to bitcoin, automatically the term bitcoin is towards death and other similar terms keeps popping. Now people aren't the same, they've realised the goodness and begun to use bitcoin for the good than just spreading the negative news out of panic and missing opportunities.

Because it's easy to say "Bitcoin is dead".
Even though there's FUD spreading and the price of Bitcoin is affected, some people started to panic. Plus these media personalities also spread the FUD and panic also, then boomerang effect.
But after that, it will recover, Bitcoin is still here.

Let 99bitcoin continue to compile the records of those who hate bitcoin and harbor incorrect beliefs. I am aware that more people will continue to hold negative ideas about bitcoin, even while bitcoin tends to disprove the preexisting hater's misconceptions.
The only thing I find amusing about all these individuals who are against bitcoin is that they are powerless to do anything but hate. Bitcoin is here to stay and it isn't going away.

It would really be like a forever compilation as long Bitcoin does exist because we know that we cant really please anyone on what they should really gonna do on which it would really be just that normal that if they do hate
then they would continuously hating it like forever. There's always something that they would say on which it is really just that normal that you would really make out such reactions. Yes, Bitcoin died a lot of time but
its not literally that it is really that been replaced by something on which it is does indicate that it is really always been superior in overall market. Just let them be on telling on the things that they do want to tell

Op, is it a joke or it is real? Because what did and the link you have provided so I clicked on the link to see what is there to  know if there are related to the content of the thread but what I saw is contrary to the thread. I. Fact nothing that is written on the op is there in the link, there is no related comment is there the site is talking about buying and selling of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and nothing like died bitcoin or obituary for bitcoin. Although this thread was created since 2021 but op have updated the thread or the information I'm the website has changed? This is what I saw in the website first page.
https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/08/16/MaCVw.png
And the way I understand the op message is that the obituary of bitcoin initiation was created by the hate of the coins and they are getting the disappointment everytime they try to preach against bitcoin in whatever form. Bitcoin all the way.

how can they predict the exact time of bitcoin's demise, which as a bitcoiner I may not fully believe and assume this is just a fud to be taken advantage of by those who expect it. that way they will get personal profit in the future by providing fomo news to the community again. indeed at this time it is increasingly difficult to control bitcoin due to its widespread adoption, and of course the psychology that is toyed with in the hope of following what they are planning

But as what we experience in bitcoin those dumping occurrence is normal and when we see something bad state like bearish condition then after several days or months recovery will happen since its like there are entities controlling its phase thru the emotion of people so provably they always take advantage on each situation that might come.

Bitcoin isnt the only one who does this. Critics have criticized every world-changing proposal. The rise in Bitcoin obituaries reveals that many "experts" are biased and don't understand decentralized financial systems.

Bitcoin keeps growing despite being declared dead several times, which surprises me. This indicates its strong base, rising popularity, and community support. Every time someone says Bitcoin will end, it ignores them and continues.

If you read those publications, you'll discover that the claimants are narrow-minded and have a tiny worldview. Bitcoin keeps proving them incorrect. Instead of focusing on its "deaths," lets celebrate its resurrections.

If this doesn't triggered someone or anyone to go deep dive into what Bitcoin is I don't know what will, if someone you expected to have died comes alive you will be surprised, I know Bitcoin isn't human but this thing has unlimited life so far, there is nothing in this world that have died so many times like Bitcoin and still going this hard, it's extraordinary.

Since 2016 that I've learned about Bitcoin, many old enemies that have talked down and ridiculed Bitcoin ended up becoming a friend, and that's because they are smart, some people still hate Bitcoin till this day and I've come to understand that if hate is all you have for something this incredible like Bitcoin it means you will never grow.

Such people lacks knowledge and they fail to seek for one, I believe they will remain in the same spot for eternity, because it's obvious that such people never grows.

Bitcoin hasn't died even for once but those haters have made fake death certificate for Bitcoin and shown us that certificate so that we can also believe that Bitcoin is dead. Those haters and skeptical people will always try their best to promote such lies and believing them would be someone's own fault. Bitcoin is still alive and rocking like the way it was rocking during all previous halving events, and all the time it was alive.

When those people who don't have enough knowledge about Bitcoin see bear market they don't know what to say other than claiming that Bitcoin is a dead project. Those people are so out of their minds that they don't really know anything about the bear markets. If the ones who trust such people then those people are even more out of their minds because they're trusting those people who aren't really aware of the conditions of the markets.

Bitcoin is totally free from any regulations and thus it can face dumps and pumps sometimes if there is panic in the market or if another altcoin turns out to be a scam, but that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is not going to recover again. The enthusiasts are the ones who really know that how powerful Bitcoin is and it will live forever.

Digital War between Euro and Dollar against Bitcoin. With one difference, Bitcoin is not controlled or manipulated to the maximum. The Dollar and the Euro are created and printed out of nothing. The EZB in Germany is even proud of its location in Frankfurt and there „Palace“. It will continue to be a fight against Bitcoin and against us, because we are the ones who want Bitcoin. The dead will eventually belong to the Dollar, the way it goes on every year, it cant go on for ever.

So, you mean to say that an asset class with over a trillion market capitalisation is worthless and will grind to a hault just because you don't believe in it, its just like saying every other investor or holder of bitcoin is stupid.

If their opinion of bitcoin being dead is what we currently see then we are cool with it. Definitely, death means being alive for bitcoin.

They will do anything to protect the status quo because it's all about power and control. Whoever controls the money controls the country, so that's basically all there is to say about the ruling elite and their printers.

IMO the state of bitcoin is changing because people no longer say that it's died or is going to die. Even the media narrative has changed from "it's a scam" to "should we allow this to happen?" or "is it safe?"
We should stop worrying about the death of bitcoin and focus on using it.

The Bitcoin obituary site manages by 99Bitcoins.com helped the adoption of Bitcoin by recording these events, they can show new investors that Bitcoin is very stable and it can weather any storm that comes along the highest recorded was 22 happened just last year with 27, this year we have 7 so far one of the lowest in the history, and hopefully, nothing more to be added but I expect every year there are new ones coming but it will only prove that Bitcoin is here to stay and it will stay for good.

Bitcoin has stayed longer than all these death wish and I believe since Bitcoin have survived this far, I don't see it going down rather I see it getting out to the world without we hearing about some countries not accepting it or something like that. 474 times it died (like they wished or predicted) and 474+ times it will survive.

I can't still believe some people yet thinking of the end of bitcoin or even giving a negative impression about bitcoin without knowing what the future may holds, looking deep insidely I don't think the author or the writer of the book support bitcoin in any way but to me I think this basically gives another exposure to bitcoin since people might be interested in the negative aspect the more it gets noticed and exposed to the world. So sometimes negation sells and products by creating some stumbling attention to bitcoin and I am very sure that bitcoin has no for one day goes against any rather is waxing greatly and is the talk of globe generally.

Not necessarily from haters but also from people who don't really know Bitcoin or will say people who are ignorant.  Recently I was having a conversation with a friend,  and I was talking about how good Bitcoin is and beneficial to people.

At the end of the conversation my friend said the day Bitcoin will fail I will be disappointed, this statement came out of him not because he hates Bitcoin but because of ignorance,   not believing in bitcoin.

How many times do people want to say that Bitcoin will die, but until now it has not been proven and the adopters of Bitcoin are actually getting higher even though many people are skeptical and even the government is banning it. It demonstrates the power of Bitcoin and shows how if people band together and share their vision for a decentralized transaction system that is anonymous, fast, inexpensive and intervention free, it will be quite difficult to stop this movement.

This opinion have many of us, but the state are more powerful currently. People can not or do not want to fight with the state, so the fear is great. And they read in the media a lot about fraud or illegal use of Bitcoin. This fight can go on for a long time, I hope many understand what possibilities we have with Bitcoin.

I will not be surprised to see that at the time, there are people that still hate Bitcoin even after do many fortunes Bitcoin had created for people. There had been so many hate speeches against Bitcoin including the ones from billionaires that are supposed to compose themselves and keep there own opinions to themselves. The existence of Bitcoin does not depend on anybody so those that want Bitcoin to fall will be surprised to see that Bitcoin will keep going bullish and there agitation will make Bitcoin to become more popular everyday.

Its my first time seeing a platform that has a compilation of related things saying that Bitcoin is dead; many people always say this at some points because they are bitter in their investments that they made a wrong entry most likely the reason and also the price of the bitcoin does not make too much action unlike before the bull run always there's a price movement that they can make a short trades, and now we see the bitcoin just sitting around with the 29-31k USD and keep sleeping but if you will check for the long term run its the run for the accumulation of coins.

That's another great example why we shouldn't listen to what so called "experts" predict in the future to happen. Most of the predictions I heard in the past never actually happened or where completely different in the magnitude they should have occurred. In politics this phenomenon is quite common, predictions for future growth is usually overstated, giving the politicians more freedom to spend money today. In financial services I saw the same that the predictions of future earnings are usually too optimistic because the analyst are getting benefits from the companies they cover. We should learn from that, bitcoin is not going to die even if another 500 experts say so. As long as there are investors and consumers that use bitcoin in their everyday life's nothing is going to change. It's fine if some people are against crypto currencies, but no reason to bash them publicly and try to convince others to do the same.

Its high time we debunk these so-called "experts." They believe they have grasped the complex mathematical formulas underlying existence and potential futures. Ridiculous. These charlatans repeatedly demonstrate their lack of realism with their fake degrees and elitist titles.

Their financial and political errors of judgment? A blatant example of their intrinsic capacity to deceive large populations. Maybe its done on purpose. Or perhaps they are simply that illiterate. The future?

They all need a kick in the face, and Bitcoin's persistence is it. It is erect and mocks their fruitless prognostications. Its durability is dependent on actual people using it in their daily lives, not on their meaningless rhetoric. So I say to the doubters, keep on barking! Whether or not you approve, the crypto caravan continues.

I really don't understand how (or why) people keep saying that bitcoin is dead. In the first years it could have made some sense, there was a lot of uncertainty about the whole project and it could have actually failed but now, I mean, it's been 10 years, even big funds invested in bitcoin, how can it die? It doesn't make any sense.

These things are very common. This is a crypto forum and users here are predicting death of bitcoin. If you go to a internet marketing forum, users there will be predict end of blogging and online money making. There are some people who like to make fun of other people. You should completely avoid such people if you want to succeed in any work. There is enough potential in all niches at all time. Furthermore, if you reach the top 1% cream in a niche, you will be making a hell lot of money even when it has got saturated.

commenting on Bitcoin just dont get it -or- they are only grabbing some attention but their

In my opinion, all observers are allowed to state their opinion, and no one can forbid it. It's just a matter of whether to believe the news that is being said or not, because sometimes the news that is being said can be true or possibly wrong. But maybe I will also agree with you that if indeed it can be trusted, why are there still so many people who are holding and trading bitcoin? You can be sure that the investors really believe that it will not happen as imagined. There is nothing wrong with us continuing to wait for information that maybe there will be further news; usually news like this will be consumed by many people and receive many responses from observers.

After I clicked on the original source of the news you raised, I smiled a little at the facts that were there. Bitcoin has died 474 times, in fact until now Bitcoin is still alive and growing, Bitcoin adoption is even faster. haters who are against the presence of Bitcoin will continue to leave their mark by spreading scary news for people who are new to Bitcoin, but these negative issues will not work for investors who have been struggling in Bitcoin investment for a long time. Haters trying to do this all have personal interests behind it, they are very passionate about creating various negative issues when the price is corrected, but they never praise Bitcoin's performance when it reaches a new ATH.

You are very right , there are two different categories of people in this I believe..
First are those who actually love Bitcoin , and would love to invest in Bitcoin but want to do so while Bitcoin is at a very cheap rate, they device or come up with some of these negative stuffs like "Bitcoin is dead" as a way for them to try to bring the price of Bitcoin down to the barest minimum so they can buy ..

The Second people in this category are those who naturally hate Bitcoin, and possibly see it as a threat to them or their business, most people in this category are the government agencies, or those working in the government, politicians, bankers and so on , they device several means to try to change peoples mind about Bitcoin , but from the records , they have never succeeded, and neither will they ever succeed.
