We are relaunching the Cryptocoin converter that we've launched 4 years ago, I've created this for the growing Cryptocurrency community so they can convert coins in their portfolio to their local currency.

The script is using Cryptocompare API the scroll page is not in alphabetical order so we configure a link for easy tracing and conversion.

If you are an investor and supporter of coins that are not yet here just comment here we will look for it and extract it and post the link on the homepage.

If you like this tool you can treat for a bottle of beer just hit donate any amount is ok and will be appreciated  ;)

We will update this thread when we add new coins to the homepage

With preev already being a well known name, I think that you could do better:

* update the amount every few seconds
* offer backward conversion too
* show the result amount in title bar
* be more transparent (and maybe allow settings too?) on what sources you use for conversion

Then, since you also work with altcoins, you may stand a chance.

Thanks for dropping by my friend the tool has 1500 coins listed and more coming Preev only has 3 coins, the tool can convert to over 100 local currency I think this tool has something that many converters do not have.
The tool is being offered as it is but if there are new updates and configurations I will update it here.

I will try to come out with other tools for the community that will help them with their portfolio.

robelneo I think that you have a wrong value for one fiat currency VEF from Venezuela and Hispo talked about that issue in his topic yesterday, so you can check it out here for more information:

According to your website 1 BTC is equal to VEF 46,900,015,562.280, but the real value is VES 261,089.85.
It's all related with hyperinflation in Venezuela, adding and removing a bunch of zeros to ''fix'' the problem off printing more money ;)

Thank you for pointing this I will be checking all the currencies and the conversion and make sure that everything will be correct I will be locking this thread and coming out with a solution, I'm giving this three days to fix all issues.hopefully, I can come out with a perfect solution that the community can use effectively

I tried to fix the decimal in the PHP script but it's showing an error on other coins I have no recourse but to make notification what local currencies are not working I am working on adding the top 200 coins and continuing to trace all those local currencies which shows error conversion by the way I'm using Cryptocompare API for the conversion

I also find another script where  all coins are alphabetical in order but there are more than 2500 coins on it and there are a lot of shitcoins and dead coins on it that users will take a lot of time to just look at the coins in their portfolio, whereas on this configuration we are listed the top 200 coins in alphabetical

You will have to check other currencies too. The conversion to RON looks off to me. I'll put in cod brackets for easier following/matching the values.

yes thank you for doing I'm looking into all of this, SSL certificate just expired, and fixing it now with over 100 local fiat have no option but to delete all those local currencies that shows error  database and check the fetching time coming from Cryptocompare

It'd probably look better without the ads, but there's no harm in trying to get a bit more for your efforts.

Users will not go through that numbers when converting Bitcoin  :D





I've taken down the ads will just add it later when I perfected the application and added the 200 coins, it will be in a place that will not distract users.
