You're basically using a US based company as a MITM, they can read everything sent between you and your clients... Here's some background info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5247838.0 https://i.imgur.com/4BzF2cU.png Title: Re: Nummix mixer Post by: NummixOfficial on November 04, 2021, 01:04:37 PM Your mixer is using cloudflare... There are quite a few mixers that use Cloudflare without any problems. We also have an onion link that can be used. However, we will explore the issue to improve user experience. Title: Re: Nummix mixer Post by: mocacinno on November 04, 2021, 01:46:08 PM --snip-- Thank you for the feedback. There are quite a few mixers that use Cloudflare without any problems. We also have an onion link that can be used. However, we will explore the issue to improve user experience. Did you read the link i posted? When i wrote the post i linked to (about a year and a half ago), i posted this exact template (mind you, it is not edited for this post, i quoted it exactly as i wrote it 1,5 years ago: --snip-- In my experience dealing with new mixer operators, a discussion between the mixing operator and myself usually falls in this pattern:
We're currently @ step 4 (combined with step 7) Step 1: you made a post detailing all bells and whistles (here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5369165.msg58344096#msg58344096)) Step 2: i told you you were using cloudflare, and that's not a good idear (here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5369165.msg58344139#msg58344139)) Step 3: you said everybody else was doing it aswell (here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5369165.msg58344634#msg58344634)) And here is step 4: It's not because everybody else is making a huuuuuuuuuuuuge mistake, you have to do the same.... I'll add step 8 aswell (since you combined step 3 with step 7) most users wouldn't even know you're using cloudflare, so they won't switch to the tor mirror (if they even know how to do this) (source: above) Please, break the prophecy and read the link i posted instead of giving some excuse Using cloudflare for a mixing service is NEVER ok... Really... I know a lot of your competitors do the same, but in my opinion, those competitors should NOT be called mixers!!! It DOES NOT matter how many nice features your mixer has, you messed up the foundation you're building on!!! You are sharing EVERY byte exchanged between your site and your client in an UNENCRYPTED form with a US based company... From this point on, it does not matter if you offer a letter of guarantee, if you clear your logs, if you ordered bulletproof hosting... It simply does not... You are sharing all your client's data with a US based company does DOES 100% certain stores it in an unencrypted form in a US based datacenter. Title: Re: Nummix mixer Post by: LeGaulois on November 05, 2021, 06:51:46 PM The name "Nummix" has already been used before if I'm correct. Or there was a name very similar in the Bitcoin mixer niche.
edit: I got it now. You're behind the Nummix wallet, wich had a built-in option to mix bitcoins. Why did you decided to make 2 different projects while the wallet did all-in-one? I noticed your website uses few javascript library, so i wonder whether your site works without javascript? Yes, I tried myself and javascript is disabled by defaut in my broswer Title: Re: Nummix mixer Post by: LeGaulois on November 06, 2021, 04:29:45 PM Until the end, not just checking the UI/UX. I've be able (and again just some seconds ago) to add multiple recipient's addresses with each a different percentage to split and each a different delay. Then downloading the LoG. The only thing I wasn't able to do is to move the mouse on the "?" symbols, supposed to display a short explanation. Also a note to @OP Sometimes, once we click the "Mix" button, we're redirected to 404 error page (the URL doesn't exist bla bla bla). Ok, I lie when I say 'sometimes'. It happened only once with me Title: Re: Nummix mixer Post by: LoyceV on November 06, 2021, 06:51:15 PM You are sharing EVERY byte exchanged between your site and your client in an UNENCRYPTED form with a US based company... Let's hear what Bitcointalk Admin theymos has to say about Cloudflare:Cloudflare is very probably an NSA honeypot From your site: Quote MAXIMUM 34.2433 BTC AVAILABLE Any chance you can sign a message to prove ownership of a substantial part of this amount of Bitcoin? I get it if you don't want to post it in public, but if you send it to me in private, I'll vouch for the amount without publishing your address. If you PM me it passes through Cloudflare, if you email me from Protonmail it should be encrypted: My email: I've seen many new mixers that claim to own large amounts of Bitcoin, but usually without providing proof of funds.Code: LoyceVswitzerland@protonmail.com If you decide to take me up on this, please sign something like this: Code: Hi Loyce, today is November 6, 2021, and I'm signing this message to prove that nummix.io owns xx Bitcoin Title: Re: Nummix mixer Post by: NummixOfficial on November 09, 2021, 09:25:42 AM Service conditions:
Service fee for mixing is just 0.5% + 0.0001 BTC for each recipient's address Minimum mixing amount is only 0.000201 BTC (for mixing with one recipien's address) Title: Re: Nummix mixer Post by: dkbit98 on November 09, 2021, 10:14:05 AM Nobody can confirm that Nummix is really holding 33.9 BTC like it is currently shown on your website, you are avoiding to answer some concerning question LoyceV asked about it and this is potential red flag for me,
especially when I can't find any real feedback with good or bad review about Nummix service anywhere on the internet. Service conditions: Your fees before was 0.1% if I remember correctly, that means you increased them five times in several months if I am not mistaken.Service fee for mixing is just 0.5% + 0.0001 BTC for each recipient's address I can't see any real advantage here compared to other mixing services and some of them are even working without fees based only on donations. |
