Title: (Scam) Binance Block Users Withdrawals - You could be the next Victim.
Post by: naim027 on November 16, 2021, 05:16:42 PM
Hello Guys, I never Started a Topic and I never had the interest to start. But the situation becomes very bad for a few people that's why I am here.

#Case-1

Binance - One Of The Most trusted Exchangers.

But, Many People use it as a wallet.
Things Started On 10 Nov 2021. I work on a casino website as a support agent.
One Of Our Inactive players knocked me on Support and he said he deposited 20613 Doge. But it's Not Credited yet. I checked his account, there was a deposit on 22-12-2020 amount 20613 Doge, and Another New Transaction is hitting here and it's waiting for manual approval ( Our System Detected it as a Double Credit because the same amount was credited before )

He was in rush and want to credit it as soon as possible because Binance Blocked his Accounts Withdrawal Section.
And He Forwarded me What was the Response From Binance,

https://i.imgur.com/qpYuPye.png

Just Because he got an email Notification from the casino that his account hit a new deposit he found where to find His Doge. We fixed his issues.

#Case-2

Last Night, Another Player Knocked me On Support And asked me if this address belongs to us or not D8i9nFHCJ1rKjd4yASXAKNdNpgbKbX2E32
Because Unfortunately Binance Team sent 42124 Doge to this wallet by mistake and they disabled withdrawal for this user and asked for a Top-up of this amount to his Binance account to unlock his withdrawal option.

https://i.imgur.com/nZiHuVh.png

https://i.imgur.com/heDZeVo.png

This Guy cannot remember where he deposited that amount about a year ago since The Deposit address doesn't contain Wallet Owner's name.

#Case-3

One Of Our Bitcointalk Users  techearn17 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2755203) has the same issue.
He Used to gamble on Casino sites. As far He remembers, he used Some Doge To gamble on https://Luckygames.io (https://Luckygames.io) Which is closed now. Used Few More Doge To Top-up his mobile balance from the local exchanger website.

https://i.imgur.com/JenaHaG.png

#Case-4

Here is Another case  Binanace Stuck My withdrawal  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5370726.0)

Victim Shasan (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1883627)

My Point is - What Will happen to these guys?
Since Wallet address doesn't contain wallet owner name, How they will identify where the Doge goes?
One of them Used a few Doge On luckygames.io which is closed. He cannot recover this amount anymore.

Binance Blocked users Withdrawal Section. Binance Asked them to Top-up That amount. It won't be an issue who received that amount to their wallet.
But what will happen to these innocent people?

Suppose, They don't have access to these wallets anymore. Still, they want to unlock their Binance account. How can they manage such a big amount?
20K doge was About $100 back then. Now it's Over $4500.

The Fault was From The Binance Team. Why These innocent people should pay them to unlock their accounts?
I just Mentioned #4 cases here, but there are countless cases. No Media reported it yet.

I think this is a Scam. What are your thoughts? You Should Raise your Voice For These Innocent People's

Is Binance the only exchange or service that was affected by the Dogecoin network upgrade?

All I am seeing are complaints about blocked withdrawals from their exchange and not Kucoin, Coinbase, or Casinos where one can withdraw doge.

yes, this only happened with Binance But consumers should not be bothered by Binance. Ask the Binance Doge team for their money. Now that someone has taken the dog in 2020, How to pay the current doge in terms of price. Unfortunately, even in 2021, the crypto exchange is bothering people.

Yeah which is why being careful with coins is important.

Many years ago when eth re wrote their block chain for the stolen coins my wallet was frozen with 2 coins worth 6 + 6 = 12.  They are now worth 4200+ 4200 = 8400

I have spent a hundred hours or more trying to recover coins that I own the wallet and they simply will not upgrade or post to a synched wallet.

I could argue eth is a scam based on this loss.

I won't say that Binance is scamming based on your evidence, but I will say they fucked up and are making no real effort to fix issue.

Not the same as scamming if they were a true scam they would do far more accounts and many more issues.

Well, I think I can agree with you that it's not a real scam but a lot of users fucked up.

I didn't Notice that yahoo Finance covered this news Binance Freezes Doge Withdrawals as Users Report Being Asked to Return Coins They Don’t Have (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/binance-freezes-doge-withdrawals-users-001750048.html?)

One Of The Most trusted Exchangers.
There is no such thing as a trusted exchange. Over the years been registered on more than ten exchanges, majority no longer exist.
Most i managed to get out in time, some not. Anyway if you trust an exchange who has legal issues to deal with in more than 20 countries you only have yourself to blame. Not your keys not your coins.

I think this is a Scam. What are your thoughts? You Should Raise your Voice For These Innocent People's
It's a scam in my book:
Binance (as far as I know) doesn't require users to withdraw only to their own addresses. That would for instance make it impossible to transfer funds directly to another exchange. It's quite common practice for users to make a payment directly from an exchange or to another person. And on top of that, even if you owned the address, Binance doesn't require you to keep having access to the address you used 19 months ago.

Binance is acting like a bank here, and in this case you told your bank to pay a certain amount. If they repeat that same payment 19 months later, they can't hold you liable for it. What they should do is a big walk of shame for their own mistakes, and man up! They charge users 10 to 100 times more to withdraw than they pay on-chain, so it feels like karma if they now pay the price for being cheap on transaction fees.
TL;DR: Binance messed up and blames someone else.

Imagine you go to an ATM and take out $500. A year later, the same ATM spits out $100,000 when you're not around and the bank wants you to pay it back! That's basically what Binance is doing now.

Thank you very much. Your Words just 🔥🔥🔥

I didn't think like that. But you are right. They just fucked up and they planned to recover their loss from the customers with this kind of SCAM way.

They might not scam their users on their own way, but what they did is unethical business practice and probably labeled as a scam to others, it's obviously their fault, blaming and pointing fingers to their users (indirect way).

I don't think anyone will send those doge back not unless the doge amount (value) is lower than their current balance on their account.

Right. That's what I've tried to say.

Quote
Most people won't return the Doge amount if they have less amount on Binance that they receive.

Suppose I have $500 on my Binance account, But I received $1000 worth of Doge. If I have bad intentions, I might run away from Binance.

At the same point, Suppose I have $500 on Binance and They send $100 worth of Dogecoin to the wallet where I don't have access anymore, if they force me, I have to return the $100 so I can get my $500.

It would be good if Binance do what you've said.
We wish if Binance do that. 🙏

Just Because he got an email Notification from the casino that his account hit a new deposit he found where to find His Doge. We fixed his issues.
Binance is on ongoing contact with dogecoin team. So, if they can cancel those resent transaction by dogecoin team then what will happen? They sent doge to you and then you sent doge to the sender or it withdrawn by the sender then the loser will be the receiver of those resent. So, binance made another mistake which will affect more users who is not aware of this resent as well as cancel withdrawal. Many a people who cant hold 200$ but the resent amount is more than 20000$. So, there is a chance to will not deposit that on binance and they will take on another site. As you are operating a gamble site you should be aware about that either they taking the balance on the account from where the balance come from or taking on another place.

This will going to affect more people. For example, the deposit was credited to the casino account and the user has withdrawn that money from the casino. And he didn't return to binance. If they reverse the transaction, what will happen? They will reverse Binance's transaction only not what the user has already taken from the casino. So it will be tough for the Dogecoin team to make all the changes.

A hard fork: Doge CZ will continue without any users, and the real Doge will continue without rewriting blocks.

Have you deposited that requires an amount of Dogecoin?
no, I didn’t contribute anything, I talked to support convincing them that I didn’t have access to the address they sent the dogs to

I will set this thread as solved as soon as others confirm that they got their account fixed.

my case is different from yours, my account is locked in binance because it was detected using a VPN...

I will continue to report to customer service/support so they can open my account again. btw, good luck to both of us.
