Would really like to get an idea of the actual costs of being a pool provider, whether that be software, employees, etc. Sparked my interest as Foundry runs a pool with a 0% fee which I can't imagine is sustainable long term (even though I know they offer other services). It won't cost anything if you run a mining pool with your own PC there are open source code out there called Yiimp you can find it with this link below - https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp It only costs you if you going to host it to VPS and buy a domain. VPS for pools : 30 USD per month VPS for database : 30 USD per month multiplied by each continent. A lot of engineering (60 000 USD per year for each employee to scale your mining pool) |
