Title: Speeding up wallet sync w/o router access? Post by: artrw on March 27, 2014, 06:13:33 AM I have been attempting to sync my wallet for about 4 days now, and I still have 72424 blocks left. Is there a way I can speed up the process?
I only have 8 connections with the bitcoin network, which I hear can be a porting issue. However, any remedy I've found to this involves somehow messing with the router, which I don't have access to as I live in college dorms and the router is locked away in some room somewhere.
