Title: Looking for a reputable online marketplace that sell highend items for bitcoin
Post by: platinumsteel2016 on January 29, 2022, 09:02:59 PM
There was a Online Marketplace called PREMIER. Premier was a marketplace that sold highend merchandise for only bitcoin.
Premier went down some years ago.  Does anyone know of a similar market  place. One that is reputable and again, the
main focus is high-end items sold for bitcoin. i.e Rolex, for example

The only two i can remember which are trusted are Openbazaar and overstock but Openbazaar is actually closed (i don't know the reason). Search review about https://www.overstock.com/ it looks to be a good marketplace.

In this thread some other marketplaces with forum users suggestions: LIST] Where to spend Bitcoin? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5367983.0)

Never heard about the premier marketplace but it seems that Rolex as your sample is a physical product?

If I'm right why not buy on Purse.io where you can buy Amazon products they have a 15% discount that accepts both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Follow the guide below on how to buy Amazon products with purse.io

Using Amazon through Purse.io is totally fine(as far as I remember) if you're buying low to mid-ranged mass produced stuff like Tissot/Hamilton/TagHeuer, but I don't think Amazon is the best place to purchase higher end stuff like Rolex. Also taking note that I've heard a couple of complaints about Purse.io in the past concerning fake products being bought/delivered or something.

There's BitDials.eu[1][2] and although I didn't use them myself, it looks legit based on the reviews I've read online. But I would still suggest you do your own research before using them.

Well, purse.io is a drop shipper they don't have any physical product. Customer/buyers are the ones responsible for giving the URL product. And also if you didn't receive the exact product you can submit a dispute to get a refund/replacement.

Not so sure about this high-end stuff you're referring but this website has it prestigetime[1]. I found it using google keywords, trying to find negative reviews but fortunately I didn't. They are pretty well old established website. Never used such kind of website, but you can take a look.

PS. I check it's only watches shop.

I don't think you are going to find one anymore.

Between merchants taking BTC in general and the ability to get gift cards using BTC to just about any known place out there having an online place that only takes BTC, that while good for talking about, will probably not last that long due to lack of use.

You used Rolex as an example. Why would I open a store that sells Rolex that only takes BTC when you already have many online shops that sell them that take BTC and credit cards and other payment methods (PayPal / Amazon pay) etc.

I guess. Probably wouldn't be that much of a problem when talking about >$200 items because it's likely not worth the trouble for the middlemen buyers, but man that's definitely something I wouldn't want to go through when talking about actual high-end products.

The best solution is to buy gift cards with bitcoin and then register on well-known sites that sell these high-quality items.
You can try some sites here but I do not advise you not to buy it with bitcoin directly, at least escrow will be difficult and scam is easier.

Other than these watches, and if the other party agrees, you can use any escrow service like Bitify
