Also, I know the guy who purchased the My Book originally, he just used the drives for a weekly backup on his Mac each week at work. I didn't want the enclosure so I just took the drives out. They are Caviar 16mb versions I believe. Before the Blue/Green/Black labels. If there is any specific test you would like me to do to them, I'll be happy to run it. I ran the Western Digital Datalifeguard-thingy-kabober (which I do on all the drives when I aqcuire them) and these passed the extended test without problems.
