We have watched projects with a much bigger premine. The biggest amount of the premine will be distrubuted via community projects and bitcointalk.org signature campaign. We might add something like "reward for retweets" but that's unclear yet. We might want to keep it on bitcointalk as we think, most people are useing it as source for first coin informations.

Even if this is not a scam, Puppy coin, as meme coin is late for half a year, if not than for a year. Animal related altcoins are no longer interested for people. I bet this never be listed on any reputed CEX. I just cant tell any reason why would anyone should mine it.

It might a nice testing project for developer. He can test his skills with it. Add it in his portfolio. Why not? We will be like free testers. But this is definitely not a project to earn.

We do also thank you for your feedback. it's true that we did use wordpress to setup our website but we are not aiming to get listed fast on exbitron or another exchange. We want to get as much as possible people on our signature campaign and other campaigns so we can airdrop to a big amount of different people. As we do not have an ICO or anything like that i do not understand why you mark us as scam? To be honest, you didn't totaly mark us as scam and we appriciate your time to warn possible investors. We are aware that many new coins or tokens being created and dumped very fast, but that's not our goal. We want to create a new cryptorurency, being able to get mined and staked after the POW phase. We think this is a fair contribution and everyone can join this project.

You are right, we are not in the "hyper hype" phase anymore. But our aim is not to get hyped and pump 'n dumped as fast as possible. That's also the reason why we did choose a real scrypt based blockchain and not being a token on ETH blockchain. We belive, that our airdrop will be interesting for "already crypto people" and someone, who just stumbled over cryptocurrencys. Even without farming (but the first POW phase will drop the most amount of coins) you can get a huge amount of free PUPPY by simply joining our bitcointalk signature campaign. This coin aims to give the feeling of early dogecoin mining and a nice coin being POS only. As mentioned before, there is no need to invest "real money" besides farming costs for earning some PUPPY on the POW phase.

Your tokenomy shows the otherwise. With 90% allocated for airdrop and bounty, it's either your token will be a pump-and-dump or dump-and-dump. If you wan to rebut this statement, you can start by listing your competitive advantage. Other than "the feeling of early dogecoin mining".

Well since this meme is not collecting any money from ICO because they said 90% of its coin goes to AD then Im interested to receive some from AD, who knows like what happened to Doge this Puppy will also indemand in the next coming years not impossible. Although memes are no longer new in crypto we can still speculate on it just keep holding fee meme tokens.

From the premined amount we will drop 90% to the community. If you watch the POW table on the first post (the ANN doesn't look nice yet, we will be reworking it so the tables are better to read) you can see that a bit more than premined amount will be distrubuted in the first two weeks of POW mining. After 10 weeks PUPPY will be POS only and no POW will be possible anymore.

We are sorry, but currently there is only the ANN on bitcointalk.org and the website on https://puppyco.in/ (https://puppyco.in/). We are just in the beginning of the project and we didn't launch yet, so discord might be available in the future.

There is no discord and we didn't ask to move to discord ;) I know there are people who will like our project while others won't like it. It's up to everyone to decide to join or not. We will be answering all questions here so others can read it up. We did also not decide to use a "moderated thread" as we think it's important for a projec to show, how the communication is going.

We dislike the idea of an ICO and that's why we decided to drop a big amount of free coins. We think that, with signature campaign (will be available soon) we can bring more attention to our project. In order to prevent instant dump of all premined coins, the premine will be distributed in the airdrop with 321,428,571 PUPPY/d for 84 days . If more people join, everyone will receive a smaller amount of PUPPY/d. The amount will be recalculated once a day.

When does the airdrop start? what algorithm will be used for mining?

The airdrop will launch (depening on the amount of signature campaign participants) a few days after the project goes live.
As long as you will have the signature active on bitcointalk, you will receive some coins depending on forum rank and signature used. For example: 321,428,571 PUPPY per day airdropped, 100 active signature participants to equal parts: 321,428,571 : 100 --> Everyone receives 3,214,285,71 PUPPY per day.

On bitcointalk you can put a signature in your profile. Everypost you make will have the signature visible.
Depending on your bitcointalk forum rank you can have a longer/more complex signature or a short one. The higher your bitcointalk forum rank --> bigger signature --> more PUPPY from airdrop. We will post more details about the signature campaign the following week, in best case a few days before we launch.

We will be sending about 321,428,571 PUPPY per day for all the participiants of the signature campaign. We will have some other community bountys in the future too, but most of the premined coins is going to be distributed via our signature campaign.The following week we will announce more detailed informations about the signature campaign. We belive that if enough people join the campaign, we can generate a nice attraction here on bitcointalk. If more people join the signature campaign (Airdrop will last for 84days!) the amount of PUPPY will get lesser.

We decided to delay the launch until next week. We are not 100% satisfied with the wallet/blockchain yet and we do not want to launch if it's not as we want it to be. We are sorry for that, but hopefully you will understand us.

You are right, we are also not happy with the delay. I did change the ANN, but in the old version of the ANN we did say, that launch date is scheduled today but not 100% sure.

The wallet is on github, but it's a private repository. The wallet will be available as source on github on launch date. We will have a precompiled windows wallet as we think, most users on windows don't want to compile it on their own.

- mining algorithm: we thought scrypt might be a good choice, we are thinking about going to neoscrypt as there might be less ASICS out there and mining might be more "fair"
- ANN needs to be reworked
- website needs much more information

I would prefer a scrypt. No need to be afraid of ASICs. Neoscript kills GPU. But it's up to you. Most importantly, don't make promises you can't keep.

Hopefully we will not have to readjust the launch date again. Our coindev has more free time next week and we think, the wallet will be ready. I konw we should have posted more early that we can not hold today as launch date and we are sorry. We will check/post on the forum on a more regular base, like once or twice a day so you stay up to date!

Thank you for your feedback about mining algorithm, i will tell the coindev what you said. Please keep in mind that POW will only be possible in the first 10 weeks and after its masternodes/POS only. Atleast people could mine with a GPU and get some coins as scrypt GPU mining is not a very good thing to do (slow and much energy cost).

We are sorry, but we need to delay the launch one final time. We do not want to reschedule it another time in the future, so the launch will be on april 2022.
3 days before launch we will post on the Puppycoin instagram account and on the forum, the instagram account will be available until tomorrow. We will post updates and work in progress here on the forum and on instagram.
It took more work to have the coin working as we want it to work, but almost all steps are ready.

what can one expect for a seemingly meme coin trying to ride the hype of this dog-related projects? don't understand how people are still hoping for substandard projects to flourish when there's no reason for the project to exist in the first place.
this is why before you shell out money, at least evaluate if the project is really worth your time and resources.
