Title: Anybody have tried mining in Xasic.io already? It is safe?
Post by: CrackingDuck on April 26, 2022, 03:09:31 PM
I just read a Reddit post ( https://www.reddit.com/r/cloudmining/comments/ub6n4k/cashing_out_some_serious_profit_from_xasicio/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 (https://www.reddit.com/r/cloudmining/comments/ub6n4k/cashing_out_some_serious_profit_from_xasicio/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) ) showing payment proofs, joined the communities but wanted to ask here before start mining BTC with them, since this is a way more serious environment.
So, any experiences with this Xasic website? Insights?

Be careful it is a cloud mining site I never heard of this website before and I think this is not the right section to ask this you must move this thread to service discussion.

Take note there is no cloud mining site that will give you profit almost 99% of them are scams. If you want to mine Bitcoin the only thing you need is an ASIC miner a physical machine where you can able to mine directly with Bitcoin.

I search a bit about this site and it is listed on scam website here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5201588

It's scam. Most of the so-called cloud mining sites are actually Ponzi schemes and those proof of payments you are seeing are because of the referrals but should people stop joining, that's when you will see them exit scamming.
Avoid all cloud mining sites at all costs. It always ends with people getting scammed. Even hashnet which some people thought they could trust because it was launched by Bitmain is currently having lots of people claiming to be victims of loss of funds.

"ah yes, I'm not sure how the pools will perform nor how the mining difficulty will change in the span of 365 days but yes, lemme give you that daily % of guaranteed profit for a year!... and please don't ask why I didn't take the easy route of loaning/selling my assets despite the daily guaranteed % profits"

But I'm not surprised they're paying, these scammers often pay at first and then dump you once they reach a certain threshold, look they just got here.

I'm impressed, they actually went through the troubles of photoshopping their name and logo on those miners, and they've used the basics that were indeed made for the protocol. And they've found two morons that are still even now making videos on youtube that have promoted their shit.

As far as scams go, pretty impressive. Too bad they couldn't just put TH not GH in that calculator, I would love to go back in time when 200Gh/s would earn you 0.05 BTC

But I'm not surprised they're paying, these scammers often pay at first and then dump you once they reach a certain threshold, look they just got here.

I doubt they've paid anyone, times are bad for those scammers too, people are not interested in mining anymore at all, and there are tons of scammers, so there is a real competition, they will probably be happy just with the first deposits. Fortunately, I see fewer and fewer people getting scammed from these schemes, they have shifted to investment schemes over Tinder now, better chances on trying to score a $10k jackpot once rather than waiting months for 10-100$ "mining contracts".

Hey, a 2% daily return is enough to call them a scammer. No need for more deep investigation and waste your time on that site. But I am wondering are you really asking questions or shilling for referral links. Reddit post seems to me have included a referral link. However, I will warn everyone just avoid cloud mining. Do work and earn. Looking for a high return won't help you. All are scams and you will lose funds there.

One the bottom of their page there is a warning on using their platform.

Quote
Risk Warning: Xasic company provides cryptocurrency mining services. Any cryptocurrency and cloud mining activity involves financial risks and possible financial losses for all the market players in addition to Xasic and its clients. This is caused by cryptocurrency market volatility. Xasic encourages a responsible approach to participation in cloud mining and making deliberate decisions. You must consider and realize all the risks and responsibilities associated with the process of mining cryptocurrencies. Xasic company does not appeal to anyone to use its cloud mining and other profit-making services. Before using our platform, it is advised to read our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

So with this, they are washing their hands already for any losses that you will incur, cloud mining is very much associated with the Ponzi scheme they are paying because there is still money coming in, these cloud-mining projects do not have mining rigs they thrive on promises and no real cloud mining can keep up.
