Good to hear this news, because indeed usually bitcoin and binance nd other platform when it comes cryptocurrency is only can be seen and such events.  Now it seems other projects is having an opportunity as well. For me surely this is the beginning, i mean some top altcoins will sponsor such event as well just for the exposure, which is a good idea, indeed.

Well, it was a matter of time really, big companies (crypto or not) would naturally try to advertise themselves on the global stage, I'm just glad all in all that they were allowed to (Ik FIFA already did accept some crypto related stuff). As for being able to spread the crypto stuff well, it depends on what you mean by "know". There's the instance of someone knowing the word crypto, that it's related to this and that, but there's also the instance of knowing crypto as a user of it. Kinda like how I know that Redbull is a popular energy drink, but that's it. I don't use it, nor do advertisements make me want to use it, if that makes actual sense.

As part of the agreement, Algorand will also assist FIFA in further developing its digital assets strategy, while FIFA will provide sponsorship assets including advertising, media exposure and promotional opportunities.

Nice to see more blockchain companies are sponsoring sports events. Its the easiest way to promote a project so it can be sen and heard by a lot of people. Crypto.com did it also.

With such news I guess its the reason why Algorand climbed up to 21.28% today. Still a good time to ride with it as its not yet on its ATH. Algorand its possible that FIFA will be releasing their own token which what they could mean in the quote above?

Great news for the Algorand and the crypto community in general. Being the official sponsor for the largest sport events in the world is awesome. People from almost every country of the world are going to watch the Worldcup 2022 in Qatar. The Women's World Cup doesn't have the same reach as the men's tournament but still will attract a lot of public interest from the media. With such a big platform to advertisie on Algorand should be able to get a lot of new customer and bring more investors into the crypto world. Just by looking at the ALGO price we see that investors are excited with the coin jumping 23% upwards. I wonder how much higher the price will go before the world cup, vs after the world cup. There should be a big profit coming in.

This is only positive news for Bitcoin and crypto in general,it is expected that the FIFA World Cup will have a lot of audience, already 23 million persons are fighting to get a ticket to be present to watch the games live in the stadiums while all the world will cherish for their favorite teams when they will play by watching them on TV.This sponsorship will have a global scale audience and surely I predict that it will make a lot of persons curious about what crypto is and how it works and how can they be part of it.Only good comes from such partnerships.

Sports sponsorship is the easiest entry point for crypto promotion since this industry is consistently looking for sponsorship due to the number of games they are holding per year. I recently saw this news and this is a big deal for Algorand. The price of ALGO skyrocket to 20% today even there's a bearish sentiment on crypto. I'm interested to know the full extent of this partnership since FIFA is a huge sports organization world wide and it will help crypto in general for exposure. I hope next sponsorship will involve direct use of crypto to players.

Good to hear that Algo has also joined the bandwagon with crypto.com. I assume these two crypto firms will now be getting a lot of visibility through FIFA 2022. What I like most is that Algo has become the official blockchain for FIFA and this partnership will surely pump the price. I am also expecting the market cap of Algo to increase before and after the tournament ends.

It's a win-win, if they can developed a blockchain, a customized one for FIFA using Algo then this could set a trend.

On the other hand, this is the biggest sporting event, so people around the world who might not heard about Algo or crypto in general might be curious and who knows, maybe just a small percentage of fans will be enough to bring crypto to the public, hence mass adoption.

For sure what crypto.com do influence them to do the same marketing strategy. And for making this to happen by reaching huge crowd for sure this two companies will really wake up the interest of the people who want to start their crypto career. Also will not get surprise if many huge crypto companies will do the same and this is truly great because the whole crypto market will get benefited on what actions they do these days.

It's starting to snowball - one pulls the other, and crypto companies compete with each other to get the "coolest" collaboration. And most importantly, traditional business looks at such cooperation as at usual, in fact, crypto companies are no different from any other companies anymore.
By the way, I heard that the other day in Argentina, due to inflation, the government allowed state institutions to work with cryptocurrencies - this is the next stage of adoption, which in turn will entail a lot of similar news that we see in the first message.

We have certain other sports that are quite promising as a advertising tools for things related to crypto gambling, one can always talk about the UFC and it's sponsors but the government have also tried to control the measures to make sure that the famous stars are not associated with the gambling platforms this limiting the influence as well when we are talking about Algo I think that it would be working better on many levels since it's not a gambling company perse therefore it can provide better results for both the fifa and the company as a whole. Good work! Hopefully we won't see any problems or any requirements put down by the government on them as well.

This is clearly a marketing stage and tactic, but still, it does the work for cryptocurrencies to be more known and disseminate information that it is being integrated into societal activities than ever. Regardless of the crypto company, I am rooting for any crypto collaboration with external companies because this would impact the whole community at the end of the day. Let’s all hope that nothing will go wrong, especially if different government agencies started to want to butt in or whatever.

A crypto project sponsoring a big event like FIFA will arouse public curiosity about what crypto is, and it will undoubtedly trigger the growth of crypto to become more popular. Even though there are only a few coins for now, in the future, there will be more projects that want to participate in other big events because that will also help the project become even bigger. This year is a good start for crypto projects to show the public that crypto has come with them.

Makes sense given that FIFA brings in a huge number of viewership compared to other sports and big leagues/championship. This brings a lot of attention to Algo and Binance during the whole time FIFA is airing. The impact is not directly felt after the first few games, but for sure as time goes by people will be curious and will begin their own research about blockchain as a whole too.

Good thing that other huge companies are willing to spend huge bucks for the advertisement and exposure of the blockchain and cryptocurrency as a whole.

Lets see in details what they are creating, I am pretty curious to see the final applications / real world usage :)

There are a lot more cryptocurrency exchanges doing heavy advertising lately and moving into the sports arena, which have traditionally been dominated by the sportsbook and casino crypto advertisers. It's interesting to see the competition building up between different types of crypto companies, however it tells you that all of them have a lot of money to throw around. I'm always curious to look at and analyze the fees that they are charging customers, because at the end of the day that is what pays for all these advertisements. It might actually be better to avoid cryptocurrency exchanges that advertise on such big and unrelated events, because there will be cheaper companies out there.

Being a sponsor for a big event is amazing, Crypto.com has set a great example for the blockchain industry. Cryptocurrencies have been a trend for a long time around the world, the Algorand partnership I think is to expand the Algo blockchain platform, advantage replaced by popularity, by the way to people hodl Algo good luck and hit new ATH.

Right, Crypto.com is in front and has a trickle effect now. And we all know that people behind this project is all businessman, so they will have to find a way to have their companies in front of the competition. So it's a good decision to see sports as one avenue for them to make crypto in general more closer to the masses. So this is another good and welcoming news. The effect might not be felt right away though, it might take some time for people to realized that crypto will be the biggest revolution.

with this more people will also know about cryptocurrencies.
That's for sure, I think there is a special attraction to crypto especially in the world of sports, this is most likely to help FIFA in developing methods or strategies regarding crypto assets.

positively is a step that is quite professional and good, considering that the audience for the world cup in Qatar is international and another good effect is with partners, currently running between Algorand and FIFA could be one solution for Algorand to provide a wallet in full blockchain support, with cooperation going well, it will have a positive impact on the world of sports and crypto itself, as well as crypto and sports based gambling.

Yeah, its true that it would really be good initial steps and its true that it couldnt really give out direct impact and its really just right to give them some time for total recognition because these things doesnt happen

with a snap and it would surely be happening on next years to come on where adoption do really raises up into a certain extent that it would really becomes a norm or would be commonly seen on any sports event.

Yes, its true that its part of the business but we could really still able to benefit because it does really increase out in terms of exposure which is a plus.

I have seen this many time even in my local region where Binance is sponsoring musical shows  and other related ones. Crypto has gone farther than we think and more people are getting to know about it and reasons why they have to join the race. Algo sponsoring FIFA is a good attempt and it will make people and other investors to have good reasons why they have to invest in the project.

This is a marketing techniques where you sponsor shows so people can know more about you product and it's one of the most effect ways of doing advertisement to the general public.

Yeah! they are now like the other big companies out there that are sponsoring sports for promotions and the government seems neutral about it some of them support it though many still have doubts, they cannot do anything when the result of their bad assumptions was fruitless. Now we see it clearly that the world of the crypto industry is quickly adopted by the industries all around the world especially the sports industry and earlier in the Boston vs Bucks game, I saw that they are sponsored by Coinbase as well.

This is the reason why this coin's price pump for short time [1]
I think any coins who partnered with big companies or projects have nothing to lose since they're creating their coins out of thin air. They're not giving their money, but they're giving an investors money since the price are created from the investors. All the risk will be on big companies or projects who accept the coins, if they're turn to be scam coin, the will got blamed for promoting scam.

It's a breath of fresh air to read news article like this. Having another party aside from the usual ones we see when the topic is cryptocurrency is a good thing. Usually it's just Binance who take participation in these kind of events and I'm glad another one is being partnered to another entity that could make cryptocurrency community more known aside from its usual audience.

I've read in the article that the partnership has plans to incorporate the development and enhancement of digital assets method to widen the reach of spread with the help of their partner in sponsoring the ads, which is FIFA. Their goal which is transparency, growth and development, and inclusivity in the fields of arts, music, sports and the likes are great initiative too. Hopefully, there would be more of this in the future.

Of course, that's great news for the crypto community because it can bring a breath of fresh air to crypto so that it can be better known by many people who watch FIFA. The adoption process could be even greater because it will bring curiosity to the audience when they see the logo of the coin project. Whatever the result of FIFA, it will give good results for crypto so more people will use crypto in the future.

Indeed, as time passes by many corporations in different industries open their door for innovations, I remembered an esport team here in my country their sponsor that time is BHC or Billion Happiness Coin if I'm not mistaken, during that time only few notices the logo printed in their shirt, now the team is gone but soon I believe more and more crypto related companies will soon sponsored international games in different areas.

I'm not sure if this was also the event that crypto.com has failed to be chosen as the major sponsor because there's a company from India that had won the bidding.

But if this is a different one, we're now seeing crypto companies that are starting to get up a little by little and show that they're also interested in advertising and sponsoring through these big events.

For example entering payment alternatives at the casino? it will be much better for Algo development process in the future.

FIFA is the main governing body of soccer and there involvement with crypto projects is a breath of fresh air for cryptocurrencies at large.
Some projects have tried to break in to sponsor teams from way back, I can recall when Watford featured bitcoin on there Jersey back in 2019/2020, courtesy of sportsbet.io and so you can tell that, the innovation has been coming and with Binance sponsorship of the AFCON,  it was only a matter of time before crypto projects gets to penetrate the soccer governoring body as we have it now and this surely gives cryptos a new look on the sides of sports. It's already a huge part of the gambling industry and soon, we would get tickets to games using cryptos. The momentum it continues to gain is one that comes with promises.

For the details in regards to partnerships and other stuffs, you can always check out their social media pages or ask questions directly on their telegram group. A quick google search should give you all their handles. I didn't knew that there's an ongoing fud in luna but this algo news like this, doesn't fix the emotion of those luna supporters as both coins are different.

This is a good move in the right direction trying to breeze the gap between blockchain and the sports industry even though they both have a lot to develop and work on this move by FIFA to collaborate with the sponsorship of its 2022 football tournament with blockchain firm. I have seen a lot of advertisements of crypto-related platforms on popular football league matches on Billboard which to me is enough awareness of the cryptocurrency industry, I saw a lot of binance advertising on some international league live matches. This is a welcome development.

I would not jump into an investment just because of one good news article. I also do not want to make it seem like I am giving investment advice (which I am not). Any coin or token should be scrutinized with unparalleled severity before it even comes close to being a good investment decision.

ALGO might have gotten really good news now, but they have not been making a lot of noise (big good news) for quite a while now. So this might be a lucky one time thing.

Either way, we should continue observing ALGO, just in case it does prove to be a nice investment.

The FOMO kicks in and that's the thing when there's a good news from a coin but tbh it will not last that long. If you caught on a FOMO news, it's not necessarily a bad thing but the approach is likely avoidable, it shouldn't just be the news to rely on, just a suggestion to those who might read this. The event has really significant impact not just to crypto space alone but to the sports industry as well.

we need to tell joy by looking at the news like it and not fantasizing about things, this collaboration is restricted to blockchain and not in altcoins or bitcoins, then they don't mention altcoins or bitcoin, so this has little relevance to the cryptocurrency market, little or nothing will do to create demand for altcoins and bitcoin because this is about blockchain and not about altcoins and bitcoin. if fifa said it is accepting bitcoin as a payment method and that it is also accepting altcoins as a payment method, then we could have reason to celebrate.

If you caught on a FOMO news, it's not necessarily a bad thing but the approach is likely avoidable, it shouldn't just be the news to rely on, just a suggestion to those who might read this. The event has really significant impact not just to crypto space alone but to the sports industry as well.

this news is about blockchain has nothing to do directly with altcoins and bitcoin, I see no reason to celebrate or be happy, all countries in the world accept blockchain without problems, this is nothing new, it just has problems with altcoins and bitcoin, so we have to celebrate only when it comes to altcoins and bitcoins

The company name is Algorand and they also have a coin named after it and that's why it's okay to assume that the effect would also come with the increase in the price of their token.
Although, it's all about blockchain and when we're associating with the technology, it's already tied and paired with cryptocurrencies so whenever we see news about the tech and the name is there of that coin or token, we're all assuming its price to go higher.

But, the only problem is if the brand will accept their own native token because I believe that most brands only trust bitcoin and will prefer it over any other cryptocurrencies. I don't believe that they will sponsor such prestige brand as fifa because even the very own crypto.com have been rejected before, how much more this when crypto.com is in fact much bigger than them. They better start first on smaller brands because it is more easier and the chance for them to get the deal is high. If they pay with their native token, then they aren't paying with a real money or investors money. Investors' money have been already pocketed them.

World football’s governing body confirms collaboration with green blockchain technology company Algorand

Good thing that they had made out considerations on making out collaboration with some blockchain tech company.
First time on hearing out Algorand but in overall this is a good initiative i would say.

This emphasis on "green blockchain" is troubling to me. Obviously, the Bitcoin blockchain is not considered green, so when I see such news, it seems to me that there is something anti-Bitcoin in them. Plus, I have long been annoyed by the green agenda, which has long moved away from adequate concern for the environment into the field of politics.

This collaboration between Algorand and FIFA will provide the opportunity to promote and publicize this cryptocurrency much more, benefiting them greatly.

The European Union is already preparing (at least draft laws are being discussed there) to ban cryptocurrencies on the POW blockchain. I have nothing against the POS cryptocurrencies (you can even say that I am a big enthusiast of this direction of development), but it is obvious to me that the ban on "bad" cryptocurrencies will most easily be introduced into public opinion under the pretext that there are "good" ones. In this sense, these "green" cryptocurrencies are harmful to the development of the crypto industry.

And, the Algo sponsoring FIFA is a news the went viral online tempting more people who are not into cryptocurrency to use the Algorand blockchain. It's a win win for the cryptocurrency market, looking at the number of spectators that will watch the world cup.

Crypto has really become mainstream and with the current partnership of FIFA and ALGO, people's curiosity will always climb into a higher scale which is a very good thing on part of crypto. And obviously, FIFA will make it happen for a bigger and faster adoption of crypto in the market. This is just the start, i guess we will still witness more partnerships in the future that will make people embrace crypto in the future.

I think it wasn't about the blockchain but it was how bitcoins are mined, they are using too much energy due to it's difficulty. Blockchain is only the technology behind bitcoin. Not only to you but it's troubling us too, whenever there are talks about bitcoin to become more greener because the first thing that can come to our minds is they will ban bitcoin.

I am not really sure though if they are anti bitcoin or if they are only concerned about our environment because you know our environment right now is heavily damaged. We can't deny that their initiative is right but at the same time we don't want our precious bitcoin to get banned.

This is why many are willing to spend more money on sponsorship because they know, it will be a good exposure for them and knowing Binance, I’m sure they still want to be on top and getting into the world cup is a good one for them. Many will surely adopt cryptocurrency especially the bettors who wants to place their bet even if they are not around, because in crypto gambling its possible to happen.

this is great news, the FIFA world cup is the biggest football event in the world with billions of spectators waiting for their favorite country to compete, this is the perfect step to encourage mass adoption of crypto, congratulations algorand on your successful collaboration with FIFA.

It is a good sign that Altcoins are beginning to make progress with adoption through sponsorship and partnership but I prefer if it is Bitcoin, If they don't tell through a short description that Algo is an altcoin, many shouldn't know that it is an Altcoin but once they hear bitcoin, it will send the right message to viewers.  ;D
Anything that will foster the use of cryptocurrency is a green light for all, we will be delighted one day if all continue to follow the same steps as Algo, we will go far just like the way Fanntom did with Fomula.

This sponsorship will surely bring good impact in cryptomarket, we are all waiting for the mass adoption and yes this could be a good start. I've heard a lot of sponsorship before though there are some news as well that some sports are banned from advertising any crypto related project, well that's a bad side but hopefully many sports will allows cryptocurrency and give a chance to market their platform in the world, this is a big one.

A event like FIFA has to find sponsors that wont collide and conflict with each other I suppose, crypto is useful in being quite distinct and a new innovative sector of the economy.   Its good to see crypto develop well established companies that would benefit from long term advertising like this, it suggests long term revenues and hopefully a more secure economy not just the (market) spiking highs and lows we are all familiar with.

Well I see this as very positive, especially for altcoins, many are always looking to have BTC and I don't blame them for wanting to have the best currency in the world, however this gives rise to the fact that the coin or token can be successful at least in the established period of the soccer world cup, it will also have exposure and in part it is good for BTC, because those who do not know anything will surely look for the currency that is worth the most and that is where they will run into BTC and that is where most of the adopted it, this is a world event everything can happen there and we can see a lot more demand in the BTC market, I see it from that positive point of view.

Moving on forward to a better future is a great idea, and that is how Algo does. Their support and sponsorship in sports give some insights that crypto is reliable and is valued not just for investment alone but for something that was more than that. Both have their benefits, well, of course, FIFA had to carry their support back to Algo as well.

Many businesses platform was been already in blockchain technology and it was great to see that sport is now on the way to adapting to the new technology.

Who knows, it will make the price increase high because by becoming one of the sponsoring partners of FIFA, it will be able to attract investors who want to invest in the ALGO project.
I think the progress of the ALGO project is good for now because it's not going down too deep in this bear market.
I already have some ALGO in my wallet and am waiting for the price to go up again.
Maybe this will be followed by other projects that want to be one of the partners in sponsoring a large project.

This is normal, cryptocurrencies have become an everyday thing, and not something strange like a few years ago. They also move much more money than a few years ago. Therefore, I see it as normal for companies like this to advertise in football.

There is another thing that I also see as logical: in the same way that football spectators are a good market for bookmakers, they are also a good market for companies that operate with cryptocurrencies, as I believe that the average spectator may be more likely to invest in the fancy cryptocurrency of the moment to see if it makes a splash.

Algorand sponsoring FIFA? How does that work? And how come I still never see it?

Remember, sponsorship is not endorsement not necessarily,,, simply it is for visibility of the sponsor.

Initially Crypto.com got to be the sponsor of FIFA and later Byju's educational application got the deal for a whooping $40million. By that time itself it is announced that Algorand is the green partner for FIFA World Cup 2022. Also it is mentioned as the blockchain partner and this helping the FIFA to develop its digital assets strategy for Web 3.0 makes way for the growth of altcoins. More firms have begun to sponsor different events and this is the first time ab altcoin is directly getting into sponsoring/partnering an event.

I think this is a brilliant move on algorands part. Regulation could be coming down on crypto markets. The more entrenched and established crypto can become before that time, the more difficult it could be for it to be influenced. It also fosters mass adoption and helps the general public to become more crypto literate. We've seen similar moves with crypto.com entering the worlds of MMA, professional surfing and european football. Marshall Rogan Inu made a big hit in the UFC recently with some going to far as to say it was one of the biggest unifying factors they've ever seen in combat sports.

We've also seen many professional athletes embrace crypto. NFL players and MMA fighters whose salaries are paid in bitcoin. Former boxers like Mike Tyson owned bitcoin ATMs and Floyd Mayweather was invovled in ICOs.

Hollywood, entertainment and movies could be another area for crypto to explore given artists like 50 cent who have ventured into crypto investment.

World football’s governing body confirms collaboration with green blockchain technology company Algorand
Algorand will become the official blockchain platform of FIFA
Partnership announced by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Algorand founder Silvio Micali in Los Angeles, USA
FIFA has teamed up with blockchain technology company Algorand to agree a sponsorship and technical partnership deal.

The agreement means Algorand will become the official blockchain platform of FIFA and provide the official blockchain-supported wallet solution. As per the sponsorship agreement, Algorand will be a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Regional Supporter in North America and Europe, and a FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023™ Official Sponsor.

The recent AFCON was sponsored by Binance. Blockchain network Algorand (ALGO) will sponsor FIFA, you can read more information about this on the quote or click on the link on the quote for the full news information. Cryptocurrency is already heavily in football even before AFCON. A lot of coins are now getting attention when they are the sponsors of a club and i wouldnt be surprised if there is a lot more thats why im not surprised that Algo sponsors FIFA so this is currently normal

How can an altcoin advertising it self by on football stadiums be positive news for Bitcoin?
I'd really like this to change something in the crypto world, but in the recent months altcoins were more of a negative influence on bitcoin than the other way round. A good example is Luna that bought 1 billion in bitcoin and it barely moved the price, but when it dumped all of it on centralized exchanges it crashed us to where we're now.

Bitcoin can't advertise itself which is why its progress and popularization are so slow, but it's moving forward at least. I'd really like to see bitcoin on stadiums, not an altcoin that has a foundation and a president. It's not true decentralization.

You can say that because you are new to it but you can do a research to find out more about this coin and if what is it all about. We should care about it because algo doesn't only represent itself but it also represents the whole crypto to the whole world. This is not an ordinary project but they are using a different kind of technology for them to get noticed by the fifa and also this project has a lot of budget.

It's definitely worth taking a look if you haven't yet. Not all altcoins are the same so you can give this one a chance. With the fifa beside them, algo can easily survive the bear because they can always get a demand. Don't wait for too long.

Dont think I'd call it positive unless the crypto company requires the advertising to gain customers then its justified.  If they spend without getting enough back then its a bit of a waste so Im not sure they will especially.   A company has to establish itself in many ways to go ahead and address the mainstream public, its wasted if you are just a specialist company and people see no reference to what they already know.   Hope its works for them but also I wonder if its a bit of a waste when the net itself has more relevant potential customers.

But that's the reality of Cryptocurrency now, new altcoins coming in claiming to be the next big thing, they tried to manipulate the market by making huge advertisements like this and trying to pump their own token, the structure of the market, and the technology is very different from when it was just starting out when all focus is on Bitcoin.
Investors just want to make a profit and if they see coins like Luna creating a huge hype, they will go for it, even if the mechanism is not perfect just like Bitcoin.

I repeat this again: they are talking about blockchain acceptance, they are not talking about accepting that this altcoin is used as a payment method, they are very different things, that is, this news will not have any impact on the price of this altcoin, of course it can have pump and dump, but it won't have a solid impact on the price in the long run because no one will be buying it to use in fifa. another point is that this news does not benefit bitcoin, unless of course it was something that said that fifa is accepting bitcoin as a payment method, in this scenario we would see an increase in the price of bitcoin but we would also have to analyze how many people would be using bitcoin in fifa and why would they use it?

A company sponsor in a way to grow and develop, by so doing, more people will know more about the company. If Algo is sponsoring FiFA, definitely there will be ads also that would be advertised about the company, I do not see this as a waste of time at all but just a means people to know about Algo, but by so doing, people are also knowing about cryptocurrencies. I do not know the contract between FiFA and Algo yet, but it will most likely be the way I said it.

Thank you for the clarification. I also think that even if they implemented the option to pay in Bitcoin, people would not pay massively that way, in the same way that people do not pay in general on sites where you can pay with Bitcoin. Although, well, I think sponsorship is positive. We see more and more advertisements of cryptocurrency companies on the street, on TV, when watching soccer. We are no longer a bunch of weirdos like we were a few years ago. Cryptocurrencies are becoming part of our daily life in society.

Well, I think you hit the point with "We are no longer a bunch of weirdos like we were a few years ago"! We had many similar sponsorships in the last few years (crypto services and currencies moving into sports), and I always thought it was a good marketing move! It's a question of how many people will use it, I think it's more about gaining visibility!

People always think that this news will/can affect the price, but that rarely happens! For me it's more important part is "getting out from the dark" than the short-term price rise... We are not a bunch of weirdos anymore, that sounds great and so true! More and more people talk about crypto, even the ones that were so skeptical about it!

Bitcoin can't advertise itself which is why its progress and popularization are so slow, but it's moving forward at least. I'd really like to see bitcoin on stadiums, not an altcoin that has a foundation and a president. It's not true decentralization.

They can tell unlimitedly but it will never be par with bitcoin. There's no need for bitcoin to be advertised by anyone even someone who just want to have its exposure extended. It's already enough to see that it's progressing.

And that's why if there are exchanges advertising their services to any huge sporting events, bitcoin is already attached on it because whenever someone tells or hears about crypto, bitcoin is what they're hearing at all.

Crypto related businesses are getting more into the real world, this will favour Algo but also cryptocurrencies is becoming the trend in the world. What do you people see about this, with this more people will also know about cryptocurrencies.

Football is the most popular sport.  He has a huge number of fans.

Therefore, the cooperation of crypto projects and football clubs is an excellent advertisement for the crypto industry.  Yes, Algorand is not Bitcoin.  Many people do not like that in addition to Bitcoin, alternative cryptocurrencies are currently being actively developed.

Alternative cryptocurrencies have been repeatedly criticized for their lack of decentralization.

And to a large extent this is true.

However, it should be borne in mind that Bitcoin and alternative cryptocurrencies are one single financial ecosystem - web 3.0.

Therefore, the cooperation between the Algorand cryptocurrency project and FIFA is positive news (for the entire crypto industry and online casinos accepting deposits in cryptocurrency).

Bitcoin remain the most decentralized of all the assets while others have a bit of centralization, bitcoin remain the one with the strongest marketcap which people will want to follow, bitcoin is the first ever crypto and bring about blockchain, bitcoin is even adopted as a legal tender in two countries now which are El Salvador and CAR, also in an Island in Honduras. Bitcoin truly do not need advertising but the more crypto is advertised, the more people will know about bitcoin.

True. This partnership will pave its way to create a lot of advantages in the future, not only crypto will attract a lot of players and users, but it will also encourage a lot of businesses to accept and use crypto as a payment since its the trend not only in sports but certainly in other genres wherein crypto will be directly involved. If this partnership will turn out to be very successful, then expect that there will be more partnerships to happen for this blockchain network with other worldwide events.

Hope its works for them but also I wonder if its a bit of a waste when the net itself has more relevant potential customers.

Everybody here on this planet is online even for a short period of time, the advertisement is a way to get a recall, if we kept seeing ads even if it has nothing to do with what we are doing online, we will have a recall on this, if a friend asks for something to similar that we are always seeing.
Even if you're not eating at Mcdonald you're likely to recommend it when ask about hamburger

Any kind of advertisement about crypto will surely work. It might not hit everyone but will still hit a few targets, especially those who don't have an idea about it yet. The exposure would make them ask things about crypto and it will surely affect the market. Partnerships like this might seem a small thing for some of us and might look unnoticeable but it has a great impact on the crypto industry.

Well this is a good time to take advantage of everything related to crypto, if crypto.com is coming to the world now why not do something similar, I know that the exposure of the crypto market will bring new investors, those who want to invest will have better benefits in BTC, because for me in November the BTC will rise in price, possibly all the altcoins will also rise, so we can affirm that if a great market demand is generated we can have a good price not only in BTC but in some cryptocurrencies, it is for such reason that sometimes there are sponsorships, that is undoubtedly beneficial for the market.

We see worldwide that crypto is increasingly making its appearance in the sports world and all associated facets. And at football clubs you increasingly see connections and sponsors with crypto companies. Give them a go. As long as it's all legal and generates a lot of money, I can't blame them. After all, a lot of money is involved these days, that's for sure. UEFA and FIFA will also be interested. It is only a matter of time before that cooperation will come about.

Yeah many crypto projects decided to get involved with some big institution crypto.com is another example its now the sponsor of the ufc you can see their logo on their tshirts but i think these sponsorships are only partly beneficial to those specific crypto projects and even so i don't see the big impact it is supposed to bring to the crypto world i think the thing crypto need is to be  used as a world wide currency otherwise we will not see the full potential of crypto.

Isn't this good for the development of the crypto industry? And also of course the recognition of blockchain technology and the crypto industry will continue to grow. Although of course there are still many parties who will always thwart crypto to continue to grow, but in reality this is unstoppable. The world began to change. FIFA is a big institution and this will give a big influence to further introduce and develop crypto.

Regarding the event, FIFA World Football Federation President Gianni Infantino admitted that he had high hopes for the number of spectators. Infantino, in the latest information claims that there are 5 billion spectators watching the 2022 World Cup. "The Qatar 2022 World Cup will be a football event with the largest number of spectators," he said.

The world cup is the one that all football fanatics in the world have been waiting for...

If we look at its potential, the domino effect of this ALGO sponsorship on the general public will be very large. but I'm sure governments in several countries will pay great attention to this because cryptocurrencies are something that some countries are very closely watching right now.

good marketing tactic, it's only a matter of time to get crypto involved in other sports, and hopefully there won't be any major problems especially if state agencies get involved to worsen the crypto situation.  let's follow the next development

It is absolutely a great thing if a platform like Algorand can be the sponsor of FIFA. They can act like an headlight for the entire crypto sportsbook sector. Also, even if that country doesn't allow crypto or doesn't allow to play

on some platform that are licensed in different way like the national one (Italy has AAMS license, you can't play in other casino with other type of license, it is illegal, the only license allowed is the Curaçao's one, because

Curaçao is a Netherland Island and netherland is part of Europe) this wouldn't be a problem, the crypto gambling industry will obtain more attention

Binance also supports the international sports scene, sponsoring the African Cup of Nations, the biggest football event of the African continent, and the European football teams Porto (Portugal) and Lazio (Italy), besides also partnering with Alpine. Gradually we would find out that crypto currency would be a currency used by football teams, they might even sell and buy players in crypto currencies such as (BTC, ETH, BNB) etc, in the nearest future.

I was very surprised to see Binance on Lazio, as my friend asked me to look. But nowadays I am really used to see crypto businesses are moving forward to finance sports and sports based gambling. Blockchain is transforming our financial world - it has power to put marketing through such methods. Football (FIFA) is the best place to be involved in this matter. People watching those matches even from telly will surely discuss about how they are seeing crypto names around stadiums or players.

Please someone can help out and I want to know.

I see that there are already a lot of partnerships at the largest, medium and relatively small levels between crypto projects and the world of sports, show business, etc. I wonder if the current bear market that brings yesterday's industry leaders to the brink of collapse somehow affects this? Breaking partnerships would be a big blow to the reputation of individual projects and crypto in general.

Everything is happening in favor of crypto. Majority may not see it but crypto is starting to build its own name in the industry and there's no way that it will still be stopped. And successful events like this will always open more opportunities for crypto to be more popular in the whole universe. A lot of people would start to discover its significance, its just that it takes some big time institutions to promote crypto so that the people will start to trust it instead.
