I see no interest in the community. I am relatively new to the P2P space (using WazirX earlier), what are the best places to get P2P trade done in India without any KYC?

I did some research about it earlier and found that local crypto and Paxful allow withdrawal in INR without KYC but beware of scammers on local crypto. I am not sure whether they are still allowing now. You can do a check now and can inform us.

Bisq is DEX for Bitcoin and if I am correct it doesn't support INR transaction. It only support dollar and few other global currencies. Anyways whatever you do to avoid the TAX will come back to you so hold if possible or pay TAX as per the law.

Okay!
I did a check and found out you are correct it does support IMPS and UPI transfer. I am not sure when did they started supporting indian payment methods but previously it was not there.

The sad thing is that it is not well known in India. I think bisq introduced indian payments in sep last year. Teh beauty of using bisq is that the govt does not know if you bought or sold BTC!
however if your yearly tx goes above 10 lakh  then IT dept might send notice asking you how you got so much money from whom and the reason.

ps: to be more secure connect bisq with your bitcoin core software.

never sell BTC and hodl as in 10 years 1 btc might go million dollars.

Bisq withdrawals come from bisq corporate account or someone another person using the same trading platform?

Hi, using this portal as I am not left with any options. I am looking to close a P2P trade in India, Bangalore. Real-time transaction and I can come down to a mutually agreed place. I can pay in any of the cryptos that the trader wants - can take the amount in UPI.

Looking for trustworthy folks - having a +ve trust score helps.

On the conversion rates: I will give a discount of 1% on the INR/USDT/other crypto priced from the last transaction on WazirX/CoinDCX.

May I know why aren't you left with any other option? We have localbitcoins or Bisq available for p2p trading. You can also use Wazirx to convert your bitcoins to INR. You can use Coinswitch to sell your coins etc. You have multiple options available. So it's really important to know why aren't you left with any other options?

It's extremely difficult to make someone interested into meet and trade. Localbitcoins had such functionality available but now they have stopped.

If I am correct localbitcoin, WazirX and Coinswitch will ask for KYC. Therefore only Bisq can be used and it has started supporting INR payments.

here is bisq marketplace report for inr:

https://bisq.markets/market/btc_inr

i have tried to buy bitcoin using bisq several times but there aren't any sellers who use the platform.

and that is basically what you'll see at every non-kyc marketplace.

people worried about receiving bad money in their account and rightly so.

if you do find a seller or 2 you'll notice they selling for price way higher than the market price.

Bisq is great! I mean they have Bitcoin to INR transaction available, wherein there isn't a single transaction happening as most indian crypto community is still going for the government control exchange. I would not blame them as Bisq desktop app struggle to get connected and then if it does get connected you need to follow a hell of procedures.

I tried it once and it continues to show me the same error message, that was unable to connect. I recommend holding on till a new tax law is passed. I also know there are many in this forum earning their livelihood.

have u seen the prices at the non-kyc exchanges?

each and every one of them is selling at 25% above market price.

no one is ever going to buy that.

so, it comes down to either u pay ridiculous amount to buy.

or u let exchanges sell ur personal data and u become a target for the govt.

either way ur fu**ed!!

Did you check Kraken? You can buy Bitcoin on Kraken using an Indian debit/credit card if I am correct without KYC. Compared to the Indian exchange the price of Bitcoin is less on Kraken. The only issue is that you cannot sell Bitcoin for INR on Kraken. Bisq is good for selling Bitcoin for INR but there are not a lot of offers and also Bisq is very slow.

In my opinion Kraken is best for Bitcoin arbitrage. I am not sure whether it allows buying of Bitcoin using an Indian debit or credit cad as in the past there was a lot of issues. Indian banks do decline transactions, reason one debit or credit card not activated for it and the last if used for purchase of cryptocurrency. I am not certain such transactions can go through as in the past a lot of issue happened.

Almost all exchanges now need their user to clear KYC. I believe Kraken would also when you try to withdraw purchased Bitcoin. Still it is better to use Bisq at the moment.

i haven't tried kraken, no.

but i just went through their terms and conditions page and it says this:

"Periodically, we may require you to verify that your account complies with any and all Kraken AML/KYC requirements."

but i'll still give it a shot with a small amount and see if they ask for it or not.

yes, all exchanges are sneaky little bastards like that.

just like gambling sites, they don't care when you deposit no matter how big the amount is.

but must comply by all the rules when u want to withdraw even a tiny little bit.

I did check kraken policy and found that they do accept Indian debt/credit card . You can find more details here (https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000381846-Cash-deposit-options-fees-minimums-and-processing-times-). Please go through that page and you will find all the details to buy Bitcoin at a cheaper rate. As for selling I will setup an ANN which I thought earlier but was not able to do it due to some issues. The only issue is that how many members here will use the Bitcointalk Indian P2P ANN? As we don't see an active community now days.

i don't see india on that list.

as for selling thread, it might not work here.

in the past i tried buying from here and made 2 threads but no one responded.

even though i only wanted to buy a small amount like 5-10k using paytm/upi.

edit: i just tried buying from kraken with a card but they don't even let you go ahead without verifying yourself first.  :-\

It did allow a year back, not sure what happened now. How much worth of Bitcoin do you need? I can look into it if the amount is well under my limit! I cannot confirm you anything now as I don't know what you are looking for in terms of the INR amount.

You can use Kucoin or Binance P2P and purchase USDT or even BTCitcoin directly and even i do use these platforms to sell my USDT even though i never purchased anything and never had any issues till date. So i would suggest you trying those as majority of the platforms will not entertain cards or the transaction charges will be way higher. Majority of the sellers will be providing multiple options like UPI, IMPS and verification takes only a few hours for me when i did long back but even now it will not take much time.

If you are looking for no KYC options, not sure there are many and no one would risk taking UPI transactions from strangers as you never know when you will get in trouble if the money is tainted.

Consider using localmonero. If not, you still have LibertyTown, which enables people to trade any kind of item for crypto. The number of Indian service providers may have changed since the last time I checked, though.

but i'll still give it a shot with a small amount and see if they ask for it or not.

Such kind of check would likely be fruitless as they will let you slip with small amount and once you purchase with with high amount, you will be asked for kyc.

Like you said,

all exchanges are sneaky little bastards like that.
