What needs to be stored ? no chain is now ~ 800 mb , require disks pace data is from https://github.com/bitweb-project/bitweb/blob/master/src/chainparams.cpp#L100 hardcodet and updated every time how checkpoints at wallet update. but it is better to have 8 - 10 gb reserved free space for the wallet at near future.
